I think this is one of the better services

Huge, spacious service point. Several food and shopping facilities. Very busy, regardless the time of day. Good for a nice coffee, light meal before stepping back on the gas. Clean, well looked after toilets for all (disabled toilets are on site).

Parked here with an abnormal load due to the embargo, I went into the shop gave my details to the woman in the shop who took down my reg no. was told the details would be entered onto the system so I then went and had a shower and purchased a meal and some items from the shop. I have today received a PCN for non payment of parking fees even though I was told I didn’t have to pay as my details would be entered onto the system. Having spoken to a few other drivers on social media I have learned that this is not the first time this has happened. I have tried to call the services on the number provided but nobody will answer the phone and I have had no reply to the voicemails I have left. I shall no longer be using any welcome break services in the future.

I always stop here en route to Manchester, good selection of food, supermarket and newsagent shop. Was very busy, but it is school holidays

Oxford is very good at meeting friends and family witch are far away.

One of the best services out there

This is the most middle class services I've ever been to. There is a bleedin koi pond. A pizza express, that takes bookings. Raamaadaa inn. There was still one bog, brimmers, with 'travelers dump'.

Clean, caught the busy time, very efficient.

Usual over priced and dirty.. but what can you do

Nice and spacious motorway services with a good range of fast food and cafe outlets. We had no problems finding a parking space, even though it was busy.

Great for a refreshment stop off

As per welcom break website the parking for all hotel guests is free and you guys charge 5 pounds it is mismleading as you are on welcome break services.

Not much hgv parking at this service station

Only 2 electric vehicle chargers (there are 10+ Tesla chargers). Not a good service for such a busy station.

We like Oxford services, very nice, plenty of outdoor seating, toilets were clean.

This is one of the best service areas, with a very clean environment and exceptionally clean toilets. I definitely recommend stopping here if you're traveling on the M40.

Good service station in M40, only in fast foods , Burger King its OK, but still in shops missing foods for later night travelling people, summer time I would suggest keep fast food shops open until midnight at least. Bye 👋

nice toasted tea loaf at Starbies

This is our halfway stop while driving to Guildford for our annual convention. Has many food and drinks options. Regularly cleaned restrooms. 2 hours free parking, good stop to rest.

Refresh and has plenty of food kiosks.Toilets too. Charging points for Tesla and other makes

Great spot, all amenities available, clean toilets, chilled vibes outside seating area. Car sharing spotted here on our way from Surrey to Birmingham ended stopping for over 3 hours. Parking only free for 2 hours paid £15 for parking not impressed

Really clean looked after services, has everything you need

Stopped at 11pm to use the loo and get a coffee. Despite there being 3 Starbucks on site they were all closed. Eventually discovered the self serve Starbucks on the entrance to WHSmith. Very poor in my opinion to have a 24hr rest area with most of the facilities closed for the night.

Visited last sat evening, everything closed. I was hungry

Nice set up, but not good for vegetarian or vegan options these days, with fast food from Burger King and Kentucky Fried Chicken. There's a Pizza Express on site if you want a proper meal, or Waitrose for a healthier snack. Better food options available in Beaconsfield; this is a nicer stop.

A much needed place for the halfway mark. As per the norm, these transport places have you over a barrell and do tend to over charge.

Reasonable sized services, with a few food options, and various shops. Car park seemed busy and crowded but maybe more parking available aside from where I parked. Typical motorway services really - usual high prices and average service

I couldn't belive the cleaning staff were taking the recycling out of the recycling bins and putting all of it into the general waste bin. Thought they were supposed to recycle ♻️ maybe it's easier

Unfortunately, there are no restaurants open after 00.00 during the week

Free toilet, free bath, good coffee, what more do you need

Called in here on the way home from John Radcliffe hospital. To pick up some shopping. Had a good selection of food. Also had Burger king for dinner. The other food outlets were temporary closed. So quite a long wait. But a pretty good experience all in all.

Simply the best services in the UK, I make detours to travel plans to use facilities. Toilets are spotless and well kept, choice of food and drink providers is great. Special mention to "The good breakfast " food stall fabulous breakfast without the services pricing!

The coffee and food we had at Starbucks was very good.However , it took ages to leave the facility.The delay put 20 minutes on our journey

Good stop of facility but shame Starbucks coffee was rubbish no flavour and soggy croissant.

Subway is under renovation. KFC/ Burger king are available.

I went on a sunny day. Loved the aesthetic and was in and out quite quick and drove away without car park confusion. Bit pricey but it's a service station so they like to rob you out of greed.

Lovely spacious area but can be quite busy

Rarely able to park here as so busy. But when you can it's worth it. My dog loves these woods for walking. Also great taking the grandchildren and dog in the school holidays for cheap days out. They all love it.

You get parking infringement for charging you EV at the only 1 working charging point when you have to wait for others to finish charging their EV. I was booked for 2hrs and 10 mins GREAT Britain is not so great for charging EV vehicles.

Car park spaces narrow and road instructions forvtraffic flow lacking clarity. Hall of outlets a bit cramped. Toilets adequately clean.

Good service station although they could do with having healthier fast food options.

Parking management issue: I recently went there for a meeting, parked the car for more than 2 hours. I have to pay for next 24 hrs. There is no 'one hour or two hours' window to pay. Day robbery 😶

Very good services but car park can get very busy. All in all a very pleasant place to stop for a break.

The worst parking for trucks. The main building with all the establishments is far away. It will take you at least 15 minutes to go to the toilet and back along a safe route. If you also go shopping if necessary, you will spend more than 30 minutes there. I have 45 minutes to rest, and when should the driver eat and rest? It’s not thought out at all and they still charge about £40 for daily parking.

Standard motorway services with everything you need

It's a nice and spacious motorway services. Toilets are clean and a couple of shops. Usual fast food outlets, but I wish they would cater for people who are gluten free. I had to buy a nut bar from waitrose whilst my husband could choose hot cooked food. Come on, please cater for GF and Coeliacs. There are a lot of us about and GF food won't harm others! Decent carpark too.

Lot of options... The place was a bit more relaxing

90% of the place has was closed by court order due to extreme health hazard when we visited...

This service station is quite convenient with a variety of shops available and free toilets. There is ample parking, including spaces for electric cars. While the petrol is a bit expensive, this is typical for a motorway location.

Very clean ...good location for break

On the day of my visit , several of the fast food outlets were boarded up restricting what was on offer. But those that were open were doing a good job at keeping things moving as the car park was full.

It's a long walk from the lorry parking area, but would you really want key workers (remember us guys and girls) being anywhere near civilisation, no I thought not. So that walk soon takes up your 45minute break, my dearest ordinary motorist! Never mind, some of lazy truckers could do with the walk! Let's focus on the positives, it's got Pizza Express, Starbucks, M&S, KFC and WH SMITH. All of which are great places to grab some food if you have HGV Parking vouchers like I had! Look at my other reviews to see where I've been!

Good choice of food although a little grubby and it was mid week

I took a "welcome break" and found it to be about the same as most motorway services I am writing this review in the hope that we will all rush here to enjoy the rich ambience that is provided at the services, fully immersing ourselves in the experience and leaving emotionally richer builds character whilst emptying wallets.

Good place to sit and have a meal at Burger King.

Nice, neat and clean service area.

Only found Tesla chargers which I couldn't use with my EV. No signs to any other chargers. Not helpful in the middle of the night.

One of the nicest service stations I’ve ever seen! Very clean and spaciously laid out. Fanatic landscaping. Good sized Waitrose. Would be nice if there were more GF options at the restaurants - I think only Pizza Express is good on this front. Otherwise, amazing!

Plenty of parking in this services. Plenty of choices to eat and drink. The caravan parking though is badly signosted and full of works vans...

Nice services plus Tesla supercharger

Many of the food outlets are shut. For food, only whsmiths, starbucks, burger king and m&s are open. These places exclusively serve starbucks coffee so there is little to no choice available

Only 1 food place open, after a few enquiries I found out it’s because the council had shut most of them due to a cockroach infestation 🤮. Avoid at all costs

The environment is very good, the architectural style is also beautiful, you can see the money nearby, it is clean, and the food is quite good. Note that free parking is only for two hours. Recently, some stores are closed for maintenance, such as KFC

Always Use these services when on the M40 Would Highly Recommend

2 places to get food from were closed. No dogs allowed meant I had to take her a walk beforehand then lock her in the car, with windows slightly open, and rush to toilet and get a drink.

Came by late at night. Main Starbucks not open at 11pm on 2nd June. Starbucks Machines in WHSmith don’t offer any decaf options on any of their drinks. No decaf tea or on any of the coffees.

Excellent place to for a break in a long drive.

It's a good place to have a brake from the motorway 🛣 👌. They even have a guy that play at a piano 🎹 😀

Architecturally superior to your average motorway stop but hard to give anything more than 3 stars when parking is slow and awkward and key concessions such as subway and KFC are closed at lunchtime on a Saturday leading to huge queues at the remaining options. Disappointing after reading the other 5 star reviews!

Fantastic motorway service station with plenty of choice in the mall

This is a regular stop off point for us and it's got a good layout and quick direct route to the toilets 🙂

Most hot food franchises closed. Only two non-Tesla DC EV charging points and no signage to them. There are more charging points aty local co-op! Useless!! 😞

Typical motorway services but probably nicer than some

Fairly typical services. Reasonably modern compared to some others. Tesla superchargers were very busy.
