Motorway services near to Oxford. All the usual fast food and coffee shops

There are a lot of choices, but crazy prices

A large parking lot, but you better be careful at night because they cut tarpaulins and steal goods. Fortunately, I didn't lose anything, I usually stood there with the door open with unworthy goods, but I know it's different here. Perfect for a 45-minute break on the way to Birmingham or Manchester. A typical English stop with food and toilet facilities.

Not enough parking, badly signposted EV charging point. All the chargers were in use with plenty of cars queuing. The only "coffee" option was Starbucks and the fast food outlets were very expensive compared to those services where McD are present. The only positive for me was the toilets were modern and very clean.

This is my favourite 😍 love the fish and facilities staff very friendly and welcoming toilets nice and clean toilets free disabled accessible free parking there is a burger king,kfc,the good breakfast,subway costa,toy store starbucks whsmith and a small waitrose little one well worth a visit always busy especially on matchday 😀

Well equipped, everything you need

I love this place. By far one of the best petrol (or gas stations for America) stations I have ever been to. They have clean toilets, lots of food and even a coffee and Kristy Kreme donut vending machine! There are lots of staff for some reason but that does not bother me in the slightest. The coffee was fresh and it helped me with my taxi job. Lots of delicious food. I forgot to mention that there is even a bakery. It is relatively small though, but still a cool thing. Didn’t see one fly and it hits better in the night 🔥🔥. Even chicky nugget is happy with the services so you also should. Nice fountain and kfc.

My go to stop on my way to London

Nice and clean. Huge range of shops/ takeaways places, toilets facilities, and plenty of car park spaces. Definitely recommend having a short break here if you drive through.

I only used the loo. I was flushed with the place lol.

It was almost midnight when arrived here not meny shops were open 2 buy food or get a drink though whsmiths

What a very nice and tidy service area! I went to many, coming from Birmingham. This one is one of my favourites on this motorway.

Had a good short break, enjoyed the Starbucks drink

Good Services but would benefit more Grind Iron Electric Chargers. We had to leave quickly as they were all in use. They have a number of Tesla charges though, but they were all full. This shows that Oxford Services is a popular stop over.

This is a great welcome break. It has everything one needs on a road trip.

A bright clean motor way stop off for fuel food with several known outlets toilets - it's clean bright and disability and child friendly and has car electric charging points so if on the M40 by Oxford have a rest take a break

Stopped here quite late on a Friday night to charge the car. Heaps of chargers and options to eat and drink whilst waiting.

I came to Oxford service on 12/10/2024. My car is fully electric. This service is not char Chong point. Testala car only has 20 charging point . I am very disappointed.my car is Hyundais Kona electrick.

A good services to stop at with a good selection of food outlets. There is a great food court area with arched roof and glass walls overlooking the water feature, with outside seating when the weather permits. Lots of Tesla chargers if you need them here.

Welcome Break Oxford Services on the M40 is a great stop when you’re on the road. The environment is clean, and it’s a perfect place to take a break and relax during a long drive. Sharik, a staff member, was very helpful and made the experience even better. With a variety of food options and a comfortable seating area, it’s definitely a good spot to recharge before continuing your journey. Highly recommend stopping here!

Really disappointed that there was nowhere to refill our water bottles - this is a basic requirement and we had to queue for starbucks just for water!

Half the HGV fuel pump don't work and haven't forgotten a while now so if needing hgv fuel in a hurry not advised to stop here because there will definitely be a queue

Needed to charge my EV. Only 2 fast charge points and both were faulty.

The food court was excellent. The EV chargers? Nope.

Great looking services. Very handy for our journey. Great layout and facilities. Services were spotlessly clean, even the toilets, and very well maintained. Staff within the shops I went in were friendly and attentive. Well worth a stop off and a pleasure to visit. 👍

It's good just what you would expect from a service station.

Arrived at 23:10 pm on the way home and everything except WH Smiith was closed. Even there I had to serve myself as nobody was at the counter. Poor!

Today I have taken a break on my to London at Oxford service till this time my experience was excellent but today it was horrible I’m in mood to enjoy some Chinease so I went to Chopstixs & I was served by guy named Tony who has zero knowledge about how to serve and full of attitude and ego I have taken to four topping meal box and ask for salt and pepper chicken but instead of that he put potato and argue with me but I don’t like to argue with serving people because it gives negative impression on other people working there and their moral goes down also I don’t want to scared them I can shout and create the mess out of whole situation but I didn’t and considering his attitude he should be working at some warehouse not serving people you have To compassionate to serve people he should not be there spooling the reputation of both chopsticks and welcome break

Wonderful place to get yourself relaxed during long drive. Have many options to eat. Halal options make us more comfortable and relaxed

You’d never really consider a ‘services’ to comment on, but this one was amazing. Clean, and actively staying clean. We sat at an outside table with probably 50 other people and had lunch in the sun. It was lovely!

Great services. Huge complex. Difficult to find parking on Friday afternoons. KFC has huge space to sit down and eat lunch with family and friends.

I was looking forward to a hot breakfast at 7am when I had been driving since 5am. Instead I had a cold breakfast. Baked beans tasted like they were opened from a tin and dumped on the plate. The sausages looked and tasted disgusting. Credit to the manager she offered me a refund but I refused it because my complaint was not about the money but good food .

Stopped for food as a recovery sometimes a quick services stop is the only chance we have to get a meal. Unfortunately this really shiny fancy looking services has lots of kiosks and none of them sell warm food at nighttime. Disgraceful

Not visited this service station for years! It is still busy and buzzing as before and brought back many good memories going up and down the M40! 🎉

Nice services on the M40. Plenty of places to eat, lots of free parking, for 2 hours. Toilet facilities are clean. Other shops available to buy food and snacks as well as a pizza express restaurant and a hotel. Also has a bank of charging facilities.

Services are good. Clean and good choice of shops/outlets. Ordered from Starbucks, gave me the wrong milk in the coffee. I am dairy free, realised when it was too late. Was met with a lot of attitude from staff when pointed out I had ordered oat milk. Eventually they remade my drink. Very unimpressed

Very busy hardly any disabilities friendly parking shops have minimal stock and don't sell travel tablets.

Beyond awful EV charging facilities-over an hour wait to access one of two points. That and over an hour of charging took us beyond our two hour limit, so had to pay the £15.00 parking fee. Not great!

Good location if you need a rapid toilet break

The place itself is great for everything you need. Lots pf eateries and pretty clean. Our issue was the staff at KFC, I don't know who makes the burgers but they were thrown together and smothered in massive dollops of mayo. They got to the table and were just a mess and tasted gross. We also watched the guy who empties the bins put all the recycling into the general waste bag?! What's the point in recycling???

Big car park but be aware that there is an automatic vehicle recognition and max stay is 2 hours. You will receive a £100 charge in the post for overstaying this time. The food hall has lots of choice and a dine-in area. A small supermarket to buy supplies including ice creams, snacks and toiletries. Costa coffee in separate building. Toilets could have been a little cleaner. Petrol station with prices a little higher as you would expect from a motorway service station. Busy but well-manned so didn't queue for food for too long.

Very busy on a recent, brief visit. Good services, the only downside being having to queue to park and exit.

Huge, spacious service point. Several food and shopping facilities. Very busy, regardless the time of day. Good for a nice coffee, light meal before stepping back on the gas. Clean, well looked after toilets for all (disabled toilets are on site).

I always stop here en route to Manchester, good selection of food, supermarket and newsagent shop. Was very busy, but it is school holidays

Parked here with an abnormal load due to the embargo, I went into the shop gave my details to the woman in the shop who took down my reg no. was told the details would be entered onto the system so I then went and had a shower and purchased a meal and some items from the shop. I have today received a PCN for non payment of parking fees even though I was told I didn’t have to pay as my details would be entered onto the system. Having spoken to a few other drivers on social media I have learned that this is not the first time this has happened. I have tried to call the services on the number provided but nobody will answer the phone and I have had no reply to the voicemails I have left. I shall no longer be using any welcome break services in the future.

Oxford is very good at meeting friends and family witch are far away.

One of the best services out there

This is the most middle class services I've ever been to. There is a bleedin koi pond. A pizza express, that takes bookings. Raamaadaa inn. There was still one bog, brimmers, with 'travelers dump'.

Nice and spacious motorway services with a good range of fast food and cafe outlets. We had no problems finding a parking space, even though it was busy.
