Review from February 2022. I recommend it, there are a few places to go in the evenings. Update from February 10, 2025. Nice service, there are plenty of places on the weekend. We pay £35 without vouchers or £37 with vouchers. I stood there for 3 days and nothing happened, there were no strange people, the trailer and the truck were intact and the fuel was intact. Illuminated and cameraed. There are two showers at the service station, there are only temporary toilets at the station. Whether at the station or at the service center, everyone is friendly. So after a few years it's even better.

Great pit stop lots of choice to eat

Not far to walk to the toilets unlike a lot of other motorway services.

Good rest area on our way to Birmingham. It has tesla chargers too.

Subway is under renovation. KFC/ Burger king are available.

When of the better service stations in the UK. Always use when in the area.

I arrived at 1.30. There was room. Although there was also some "gymnastics" when parking. Shower only in the main building. Closed at the station.

Two hour wait, hugely expensive and extraordinarily slow charging speed £46 for 120 miles - complete rip off

Call yourselves a 'major services' yet you have just two rapid chargers.

Large M40 services which are just off the motorway. Can be busy getting into services up the slip road and can take a while finding a space in car park especially if you want to park nearest the food services. Lots of disabled parking immediately in front of the building. Plenty of places inside to buy snacks, large seating area, customer toilets.

The staff that helped us recently to recover our missing cat at this service station were amazing. Big thanks

Always use this services when I'm going to London to see my sister . Has everything you need from toilets to food from M&S to subway and lots of other outlets .

Visited the pizza express which was lovely and very quick service. Fantastic place to stop.

not the best but it’ll get the job done

Clean and tidy .. stopped for put stop on our way to France. Toilets are very clean and a few shops open to get drinks and sweets.

One of the better services in terms of design but other than a pizza express the choice of hot food was fast food chains and starbucks. A few cubicles in the gents needed maintenance.

Car park was full. Typical motorway services every thing is double dear. The toilets were messy

It's a Service Station on the M40... Toilets were clean, it had your usual Smiths, and fruit machines but a distinct lack of food offering. All of the fast food joints were closed on a Friday night, Xmas weekend on the way out of London seems odd at best. Overpriced Sandwich from Smiths was the only option. Shame.

It is clean and bright, but basically the shops there all offer the same - Starbucks coffee and some kind of sandwich. I have never seen so many Starbucks machines in my life.

As said previously didn't like it and will only use as a last resort.

Good services really clean and bright

Your cleaners have not cleaned under the toilet seats in Months, why has nobody else from 1000's of people complained about this you disgusting people. I don't like the way the fire exit doors are kept closed either, to enforce the 1 way social engineering system, that all the sheep must pass everything to get at anything, just in case the zoned-out ones might impulse-buy. Please clean the bogs properly "not cleaned in months" is not one single occasion; learn basic reading comprehension please; no wonder you can't manage a toilet!

It was late when we visited but several eateries were still open, place was clean

Clean, well maintained and well appointed rest stop.

Very average service station. Overpriced and staff bordering on rude (the good breakfast) toilets were relatively clean as a positive.

Really lovely services let down by the fact there's only a couple of EV charging points. There were three vehicles waiting to charge and we had to wait 30 minutes before one became available adding an extra hour to our journey. Very disappointing . Shame we don't have a Tesla as those are 16 charging points if you're lucky enough to drive one!

Stopped over to take break after hour and half driving was on rout to Wolverhampton past Birmingham. Lovely place highly recommend

I don’t think people on the floor praying in the doorway to the entrance is suitable just because of the direction! At times there are long queues to enter the carpark. Service can be slow for ‘fast food’. Nothing exclusive about this place and it is just like any other service break. Plenty of seating, clean bathrooms and a nice outdoor seating area with water fountain. One lovely feature is the yellow piano - free for all to use

Popped into the Waitrose for a coffee and a bag of crisps. £5.45 absolute rip off. I'll drive past next time I'm on that road.

Very clean and good selection of fast food chain. Even got a pizza express and game zone.

Blimey this place was hard to get into and out of. A bit of a scary junction but a fantastic place, so much choice.

Stayed during a coach break... Loos were clean and plenty of them.. loads of space to sit and relax lots of different food outlets to choose from.. outside space is good...

Does what a service station should do

My son-in-law and I took a short break there with our lorry. This motorway service is clean and you get everything you need. The toilets were perfectly fine. Thank you for your service

There are a lot of choices, but crazy prices

we ate a katsu curry, a subway, a block of cheese and some crossaints, very nice. Keeping us fed on tour!

Large and lots of food options.

A large parking lot, but you better be careful at night because they cut tarpaulins and steal goods. Fortunately, I didn't lose anything, I usually stood there with the door open with unworthy goods, but I know it's different here. Perfect for a 45-minute break on the way to Birmingham or Manchester. A typical English stop with food and toilet facilities.

Not enough parking, badly signposted EV charging point. All the chargers were in use with plenty of cars queuing. The only "coffee" option was Starbucks and the fast food outlets were very expensive compared to those services where McD are present. The only positive for me was the toilets were modern and very clean.

This is my favourite 😍 love the fish and facilities staff very friendly and welcoming toilets nice and clean toilets free disabled accessible free parking there is a burger king,kfc,the good breakfast,subway costa,toy store starbucks whsmith and a small waitrose little one well worth a visit always busy especially on matchday 😀

Well equipped, everything you need

I love this place. By far one of the best petrol (or gas stations for America) stations I have ever been to. They have clean toilets, lots of food and even a coffee and Kristy Kreme donut vending machine! There are lots of staff for some reason but that does not bother me in the slightest. The coffee was fresh and it helped me with my taxi job. Lots of delicious food. I forgot to mention that there is even a bakery. It is relatively small though, but still a cool thing. Didn’t see one fly and it hits better in the night 🔥🔥. Even chicky nugget is happy with the services so you also should. Nice fountain and kfc.

It was almost midnight when arrived here not meny shops were open 2 buy food or get a drink though whsmiths

Nice and clean. Huge range of shops/ takeaways places, toilets facilities, and plenty of car park spaces. Definitely recommend having a short break here if you drive through.

What a very nice and tidy service area! I went to many, coming from Birmingham. This one is one of my favourites on this motorway.

Had a good short break, enjoyed the Starbucks drink

This is a great welcome break. It has everything one needs on a road trip.

Good Services but would benefit more Grind Iron Electric Chargers. We had to leave quickly as they were all in use. They have a number of Tesla charges though, but they were all full. This shows that Oxford Services is a popular stop over.

A bright clean motor way stop off for fuel food with several known outlets toilets - it's clean bright and disability and child friendly and has car electric charging points so if on the M40 by Oxford have a rest take a break
