The front of house staff where Lovley and friendly and got it bang on but however the food was not satisfactory at all It was cold and the presentation was not good I am very disappointed as it was very expensive and I felt it was a waste of money

Well do I start had a drink today Sunday afternoon, went to sit out side hardly any cushions on their out door seating look awful no care or attention to this area we payed £15.00 for two glasses of wine the sun was shining but the out door area wasn't it was alot better a year ago when the first new owners took over the weavers the town is dying, but everyone stops trying it ill die even furthe, don't give up its a great pub with lots potential

Amazing service, especially from head bartender Keeley, ran the pub like a boss, created a wonderful atmosphere and made everyone welcome! 😁

Keeley was very accommodating and pleasant to all the other patrons at the pub, despite England losing in the euro 24' final she was very nice to us, 10/10 lovely pub would recommend a second visit

We called in for a bite to eat while staying at The Bodmin Jail Hotel. Staff friendly and helpful and the food was great! The pizza was fresh;t made and really tasty. Definitely worth a visit!

What a great find - we were heading to Bodmin Jail so wanted a meal pre tour. We were greeted by friendly staff who said choose your table. We opted for a window seat just in the door. After making our choice we were brought crockery and condiments by extremely friendly staff. Service throughout was superb. Would certainly recommend this pub if in Bodmin or passing through.

We ordered the chicken burger and the gammon steak. My gammon came with half an egg and the most crumaited chips. My partners chips came out lovey and crisp. His chicken burger was burnt, well it tasted it. Oh and just to top of our lovely experience my calamari was impossible to bite into. Lush.

So pleased we found this place. A cosy, traditional pub with a warm fire and a fantastic menu! Catering for vegans and vegetarians. And dog friendly! Great selection of food. The haddock chowder was delicious! Also enjoyed a great range of sides. Would have had a pudding but we were all stuffed. Best evening meal we’ve had while in Bodmin. Must also mention the friendly and accommodating staff.

Such a brilliant made all the better by the brilliant bar maid keeley...she went above and beyond and had a brilliant sense of humour whilst chatting to us...she is a asset to this pub..the waitress Ellie was brilliant too..what an excellent team you have...

Amazing place great food and the perfect Guinness poured by a pro. It is a lovely old style pub with a great atmosphere, but by all means yue best thing there os Keeley the bar maid. She was the best member of bar staff I have come across in a long long time, she was cleaning pouring a drink, taking food orders and chatting all at the same time. Was totally refreshing to meet sicj a dedicated woman xx

Booked online for 11 people and was told the booking was never received. They did accommodate us but my personal experience was as follows…… everything on my plate was cold. I had fish and chips and the chips were cold and greasy, the fish was small, thin and more like a goldfish fillet than cod fillet. Don’t waste your money! The other issues was they had no ale! What no ale!!!!!!! No tribute no nothing and a pint of guiness was £5.80. This is Bodmin, no effort made and I’m a local so definitely won’t be going back there me thinks!!!!

I ordered from uber eats so my review is based purely on the food. Not the Inn itself or the atmosphere. I ordered the chilli con carne fries last night and they were divine! And the portion sizes are decent! I decided to order again today (I'm pregnant and have developed a taste for the fries 🤣), and was super excited when it arrived. I opened the food up and discovered I received nachos rather than the fries. I phoned up the Inn and explained and I was told I'd have to get a refund from uber eats and reorder the fries. Refunds take 3-5 days and I do not have the money to be paying £14 plus delivery and service charges to get the correct order that they should have sent to begin with. No offer of discount or anything from weaver staff. Not happy and won't be ordering again.

Had my late father's wake here..the staff were absolutely fantastic. Loiuse couldn't have done anymore to meet our needs with my wheelchair using mother or helping me choose the menu for the buffet. Food was delicious 😋 and all bar staff were very friendly. Our family and friends all commented on how lovely the food tasted and how it was presented. Atmosphere was amazing! Will definitely be back soon.. Keep up the good work guys 🥰

Such a shame this pub use to be great. Now it seems they cant get the staff. Unfriendly waitress made us feel very uncomfortable. She created a bad atmosphere from the moment we walked in. There were only a couple of other tables eating yet she was moaning about how busy it was. She didnt look us in the eye once. On asking if the beef was pink she said she didnt know as she had just got there! She didnt offer to find out she just asked if we wanted the beef or not! We asked for a glass of red wine and she walked away not offering a choice, We asked if there was a wine list and she shoved it in front of us. When paying she huffed and puffed. She is clearly in the wrong job and has no customer skills. All the customers seemed unhappy and you could cut the atmosphere with a knife. The food was nice enough with generous portions and the offer on the menu of ‘as much gravy as you like’ was an added bonus, but I imagine no one dare ask for more gravy! The management need to deal with this if they want to continue in business.

Booked for a late (3pm) Sunday lunch, pub looked central and cosy which is just what we were looking for. The pub wasn’t very busy which we were glad about as we were starving! We were disappointed with our visit due to very slow service and rude/unfriendly staff (mostly due to one waitress or manager). We had to chase on our food, and once it did eventually arrive, the side dish was missing which also had to be chased down and it turned out this had been missed off our order entirely. No real acknowledgement of this and a measly, disingenuous apology given whilst walking away from our table. The waitress/manager in question made excuses about staff sickness, Uber and not being able to compete - which is not our problem, didn’t really make sense nor a care of a customer. After we’d complained, a nearby table came over to ours and shared a similar experience, saying they’d been made to feel extremely uncomfortable and an inconvenience. Looking back through previous reviews I would say the negative comments from back in July do mirror the experience we had today. Despite the above, the food was good but I feel there could of been a gesture of goodwill given for the bad experience that we had.

Wow what a find, we were travelling back to Devon after getting married the day before in Cornwall and searched for a place to get Sunday lunch, we found the Weavers Inn but struggled to get through on the phone so just popped in. Louise, General Manager & her team were fantastic. Despite being busy (always a good sign) we were welcomed and sat for dinner. We both had a roast dinner, one vegetarian, one beef. The food was delicious and the portions are large. Upon finding out we were just married, Louise bought over a bottle of fizz for us and after our meal, bought out a beautiful chocolate desert from the chef. We were made to feel really special and looked after. After dinner Louise showed us their little hideaway, private bar specialising in cocktails. Certainly a place we would come back to, to experience. Louise and her team are fabulous and we would highly recommend a visit to the Weavers Inn for delicious food and a very warm welcome. This is a wonderful, cosy and traditional pub/eatery and a gem of a find in the Bodmin area. The staff here are simply excellent, friendly and helpful. The meal we has was delicious, starters, mains and deserts all wonderful and expectations were surpassed given the extremely reasonable rates. We will be visiting again very soon!

My husband and I booked for dinner mid week and were disappointed. I booked online and the menu we were presented with in the restaurant was not the one promoted on line . Whilst I appreciate that January is a quiet month the menu was not inspiring and we had a really limited choice .We were also advised that they had run out of burger buns if we wanted a burger so that took out a third of the menu (Iceland was open just round the corner and stocked buns!) The one member of staff that we interacted with was polite and informative . The Weavers has had a face lift so the environment was relaxed and friendly and friends recommended the food but I believe they had visited not long after its refresh. I don't think we will be in a hurry to return.

Went for Sunday lunch on 7th November 2021. My wife and I both had the roast beef.My drinks order was wrong on two occasions. I asked for 'orange squash, double measure in a pint glass topped with soda water'. I was served lime and soda. I pointed this out to the server and said I had asked for orange squash etc. He said he misheard me and would change it. Shortly I was served orange juice and soda. I left it at that.The roast beef meal arrived in good time and although it was very tasty, the meal was not very hot. The menu said 'ruffled' roast potatoes, they were not. They tasted as if they were started in the oven, but finished or warmed up in a sauteuse in cooking oil.The beef was plentiful and the vegatables cooked well and flavoursome. The gravy tasted like it was proper gravy made with the beef juices. It is a real joy when an establishment goes to the effort to make a real gravy if that is indeed what they did.My wife ordered the blackberry crumble with custard after asking if it was 'home made' to which the server said it was. I did not have a sweet but asked my wife what it was like. My wife said the taste was a bit nondescript. She continued by adding that there were not too many blackberries which looked undersized (these would not give a good flavour). There was also what looked like blackcurrants in the crumble as well as apple. Maybe to make up for the lack of blackberries? The custard did taste as if it were home made and crumble topping was good. At £5.95 I would expect to get what the menu says. Dissapointing.The room we ate in was not warm. We were sat next to radiator but it was not on.There was a fireplace, but that too was not in operation. It lacked atmostpere because of this.The service was quick and the staff friendly.I would have given a rating of 'very good' if it were not for the negative points I have mentioned.If these point were addressed, I would maybe visit again as the roast beef was good.

Found this pub by accident and so glad we did. Such a great building, really cosy inside, a lot of original features, add to that a great selection of beers, great food and an awesome little cocktail bar that you can hire out for small private functions. Tony the manager was really friendly and was happy to give us a little tour of the place!! Highly recommend!!

We stopped here for lunch after being recommended by one of the other pubs in Bodmin. The food was amazing and was excellent value for money. I would definitely eat here again. My daughter aged 11 told me the hot dog she had was the best she had ever eaten and my fish and chips was delicious!We received a really warm welcome and importantly the toilets were spotless.

Very over priced for what is basic pub grub. Bad attitude from one of the owners (sitting at bar on laptop) Couldn’t believe they charged extra for stuffing with my roast Won’t be going back

It was our first visit to the newly re-vamped pub. We live in Bodmin but had guests with us from up north, and I don't mean Plymouth. We enjoyed a calm and welcoming ambience, lovely service, and super food and wine. We will be going again next week,

Ate here after looking up on line at places to eat and it was so very good that we ate there again the following night. Food was outstanding. Portions are large and produce served is locally resourced and very tasty.It was two nights of some of the best food ever served to us. Thank you Charlie and Colin for great hospitality, wish we lived closer!

We popped in for dinner on the 30th August. The food and service was excellent. The owner happened to be our waiter for the evening and he was delightful and most helpful. If we are ever in the area we will definitely be going back.

After a disappointing meal at jamaica Inn we decided to try the weavers Inn.....what a gem.From the moment you walk through the door you know you are somewhere special. The decor is fresh, comfortable and inviting. The staff extremely friendly and natural. The food is unbelievably well priced and so tasty. Clearly made with love and pride. Would definitely recommend the curries but I am sure all the meals are equally as delicious. To finish off a cosy chair by the open fire with a local brew.Just wished we lived closer.

We arrived here soaking wet after being refused food at the Bodmin Jail hotel where we were staying they only feed coach parties. What a difference. Charlie and Conor made us feel very welcome. We sat down next to people who had been to the Jail tour who also were refused food. I had burger and chips and my husband had steak. They were both superb. The meal was up there with the best we have eaten. The pub is lovely. The food is top notch. You have to sample the brownie and the crumble the chef here Josh is amazing... Would highly recommend.

We wanted a Sunday Roast and wow what a dinner it was fantastic the portions are vast all fresh veg and meat - The service was magnificent 6 star++ - We will go back for sure -

Friendly helpful staff who worked quickly and efficiently. Never in your face but always attentive. Food as it stated on the menu was hot and tasty. Definitely not your average pub grub. Would use this as a regular place to eat if we were local. Fabulous beer garden too. Immaculate toilets.

It was a rainy Sunday night in Bodmin and the receptionist at our hotel recommended The Weavers to us but said it had recently been refurbished and under new management. I chose the Sunday lunch and they had been busy and sold out of the beef and there was only turkey left. The meat was good and plenty of it, extra gravy and Yorkshire puddings where available. Clare had the vegetarian option and the nut roast was also very tasty. The sweets were good too.The service was excellent and very friendly. We had a couple of pints of Proper Job real ale which was well conditioned and a very nice ale from St. Austell. All in all a very good experience in a town we have never visited before. We wish the two lads running it, Every Success in the Future

Popped in wanting a meal last minute and they fit us in luckily as they were super busy. Restaurant looks really nice and nice atmosphere. I had the hunters chicken which was ok but i thought could have been a little bigger portion size however the amazing dessert made up for that. My husband had the steak which he said was one of the best steaks he has had. Staff were nice too and really friendly

Booked a table 11 days in advance, arrived for our meal only to be informed that a party of 19 had arrived before us and we will have to wait 45 minutes before we can order our food, to say I was disappointed is an understatement. We decided to leave rather than wait and question what's the point in booking.

First time at Weavers Inn and must admit I was really impressed. Tucked down a side street, doesn't stand out but looks deceive. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. Atmosphere was relaxed, interior design very good and good facilities. Lunch menu choices were very good indeed and the range covered all tastes. Produce locally sourced which is great for the community. We had hot dog and thickly cut ham & eggs......really good portions ~ probably the best I’ve had in a pub in a long time. Good range of beers and soft drinks. Garden area was a little sun trap....overall very good indeed. Would definitely recommend

If you are in newquay or surrounding areas at this time and date don't bother waisting you're time or money in newquay travel a short distance to this place portion size of food amazing staff really freindly and accomodateting, food really nice and such a nice vine to the place and as fellow brummies nice to see one of our own running the place booked for the Friday and went back today on the Saturday it's these little gems you miss unless you travel out next time we come back this place will be top of the list for food and drinks with out fail we have had the best experience at this place make sure you book to not be disappointed top class service top class staff don't change

We visited the newly refurbished Weavers this evening and were really impressed. Friendly yet efficient service, delicious food and great value for money. We loved the transformation and will definitely return - the Sunday Lunch looks very good! It’s nice to have a good quality venue like this in the local area.

me and my family went for a lovely meal at the weavers and we went back twice! Lovely food and great hospitality, we were served by the lovely Conor and he was very accommodating to whatever we needed

I literally cannot say anything negative about this place. We visited on a Monday tea time. Our reservation was for 5.45 but as we were at a loose end they fitted us in at 5. All the staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. They brought our dog a bowl of cool water as soon as we arrived. The inn itself is decorated beautifully with white washed walls and blue panelling. Contemporary Cornish and classic. We had a lovely table in the window - incredibly comfortable chairs. I had fish cakes, my husband had a burger, my son a chicken burger and my daughter hunters chicken. It was all served well and we were all so satisfied with our meals - delicious. For desserts My daughter had a bubbling dish of blackberry and apple crumble and my son a warm salted caramel brownie - wow! You need to leave room for this. Our waitress Charlotte could not have been more friendly or attentive. It was a relaxing lovely visit and I wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Delicious Sunday lunch. Great choice and beautifully cooked. Nice selection of veg and perfect portion sizes. My daughter said it was her best Sunday dinner out ever! We will be going back. And the staff were so friendly and welcoming- really nice atmosphere.

The Sausage and Mash option on the evening menu was delicious. The glazed carrots and cabbage were cooked to perfection. I would recommend anyone near Bodmin to try this lovely restaurant.

We accidentally stumbled across this place. I stupidly asked where the best place was for Sunday lunch and the boss obviously said here and promised he was telling the truth. My god he wasn't lying. It was like you could have cut the meet with a piece of paper, proper gravy and a good selection of veg. The whole thing was delicious. Couple that with the fantastic staff (especially the barmaid) and you got a lovely experience. Recommend strongly.

New decor is very smart and comfortable.Service a bit erratic, waitresses were very nice, but new to the job. It was very busy, every table booked. So they did well. Food was delicious, reasonably priced and very well presented. We would have liked a wine list, but they don't have one. We like to peruse the list and know what we are having and the price. We had the New Zealand Sauvignon, which was very nice. We liked it so much we have booked again. We wish the new owners every success, this is just what Bodmin needs.

Me and my work mate visited the weavers on a wednesday night. As per restrictions on entering we were wearing masks and were asked to either scan the nhs covid QR code or sign in manually. We were asked to pick a table and asked what we would like. Drinks served within 60 seconds. We spent a few hours here. All the time the lady behind the bar was attentive. We never struggled to get another drink. They are following all covid guidelines to the tee which i love to see. Fantastic pub and as im local will be returning very soon. Keep it up :)

My husband and I visited here for a meal on a Friday night when staying at the nearby Lanhydrock hotel; we managed to make a last minute booking for 7.30pm after trying a few other places without success. We parked in a nearby car park behind an Iceland which was free after a certain time (from memory after 4pm). We struggled a little bit to find the pub and found the TripAdvisor photos helpful.We were the only two people to join a single male drinker when we arrived and were seated in an empty dining room adjacent to the main bar area. When we left two other couples had joined us in the dining area.The ambience of the pub was a bit young and seemed to be aimed at drinkers with rap music from the charts being played which was a bit at odds with the feel/decor of the pub which was more British-vintage-pub; felt like it would be helpful for them to pick a vibe and go with it, one way or the other.The menu was quite limited with no starters and didn't offer much variation in terms of the dishes available, with about 3 of the 7 mains being burgers (this may have been because of covid?). My husband ordered the sliders which he enjoyed and I ordered a cheeseburger which was tasty and clearly homemade. The chunky chips were definitely that, they were huge!The toilets were clean and fully functioning but a little dated and without a door to the gents or ladies which left me feeling slightly uncomfortable and it took me a few minutes to figure out which toilets were which (I then saw a small plaque above both when I was leaving).The lady who told us where our table was and served our drinks was down to earth and friendly as was the male chef who served our food for which there was a short wait in keeping with homemade fayre. Worth a visit for the food and service. Thank you

Found this place by accident when everywhere else was booked up and I am so glad we did. The food and service were absolutely amazing and would have visited much more if we were staying longer. The level of food served is that of a quality restaurant but served at pub prices. Cant reccomend highly enough. Props to the chef

Stopped here for lunch while on route down to Falmouth. Staff were friendly and efficient, food was fresh and delicious. Would definitely recommend and will be sure to visit again if I’m in the area.

First time back today since lockdown. Received a warm welcome. A new menu plus several delicious sounding specials. Food excellent as always. We have really missed our visits and were so pleased to be back with Carol and team again. Don't be afraid to visit, coronavirus guidelines are in place and you will enjoy a great experience.

Recommendedby landlord of nearby Camra pub. Very welcoming, Ham egg and chips that didn't come out of packets - heartily recommend.

This review is long overdue but they deserve it!We popped in for some afternoon lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the menu selection. If you are vegetarian you will be in for a treat.I myself had the halloumi and beetroot burger...Oh...My...God. It was literally the most tastiest thing I have ever eaten. It was full of flavour and the portion size was fantastic. I enjoyed it so much I even tried to replicate it at home!My partner had lasagne which again she loved and was well worth the money!I would recommend visiting and will return at some point in the near future.

Another delicious meal. The beef was very tender, lovely roast potatoes and a nice veg selection. The crumble was wonderful and the whole meal presented beautifully. Wrap all this up with the warm welcome....brilliant. So looking forward to my Christmas meal.

Amazing great food should be packed everday, look forward to the next time, this pub should be in the good food guide, best part about coming to Bodmin to have my car washed, worth getting dirty car for the great lunch.

A rainy lunchtime in Bodmin and we just needed lunch. The pub is dog friendly so we went in, and were surprised at how quiet the bar was. Ordered some drinks and food. The boys had burgers, my wife had beef bourguignon and I had bubble and squeak with pork and leek sausages. The food took a bit of time to come out, and it seems longer as we did not have a starter. It was however more than worth the wait. The burgers came with truly great onion rings, and really good chips. The burgers themselves were large and very well cooked. My wife’s beef bourguignon was served on mash which had so much flavour itself, and my bubble and squeak was also so tasty with proper pieces of vegetables and 3 very good sausages. For a walk-in pub on a very wet day with no expectations we were so very pleasantly surprised. We would return without any hesitation and highly recommend people to give this place a try.

Friendly and patient service whilst I choose my meal at the bar. The lights were then turned on in the restaurant area so that I could sit and relax whilst I waited for my food to be cooked. I was not disappointed with the choice that I had made. The 7 ounces of beef in the burger were cooked perfectly and the bun toasted to perfection. The tomato chutney in the burger gave it a refreshing twist. My request for no onion rings was also carried out.This main meal filled me up nicely so I just choose the mixed ice cream dish for a sweet. This was nicely presented with one scoop of vanilla, strawberry and chocolate ice cream with a dribble of chocolate sauce.I have no hesitation in recommending the Weavers in Bodmin for their food and atmosphere- not dead quiet but alive.

The food is always varied, well cooked and beautifully presented. Carol and team are friendly, welcoming and make you feel part of the pub family. Friend and I visit fortnightly and have never had a bad meal. Best place in Bodmin. Hope St Austell brewery appreciate what they have in this brilliant team.

We tried this pub for food as we were looking for somewhere that offered vegetarian options as well. The staff were really friendly and welcoming and the food was delicious and home made. If I am ever in Bodmin again I would definitely come back here for food.

Hungry from our second leg of cycling the Camel Trail we stumbled upon this town centre pub and were very happy with the fare and service. We ordered roast beef and roast pork and dined al fresco in the sunny courtyard terrace. Tempted to deserts which were also excellent. We were very happy with what we had and the cheerful service, so would choose to lunch at The Weaver's Arms, if ever we find ourselves hungry in Bodmin again.

We choose this place, following the advice of our landlady and Tripadvisor comments. Absolutely right, well done. Nice welcome, service and food. They serve food until 9 PM.

Disappointed with our meal here, the chips were rock hard and although our waiter quickly brought more these too were not really edible. Friendly service, typical local pub.

Basic menu but very good food with excellent beer and friendly staff. Plenty of events in the bar (darts, quiz etc) but there's a separate dining room if you prefer.

Came with two visiting friends, We all said the food was delicious . They immediately offered water for my two dogs. Desserts were also lovely. Good home cooked fresh food, good service

The Weavers is a great pub, old-fashioned and charming. If I ever go to Bodmin to meet family/friends I would always choose this pub over any other. Today as always the service was friendly but efficient, and the food as always was fantastic. We all decided to have the roast and they were spot on.

Excellent food, the burger I had was perfect with fabulously chunky chips, my partner's chilli chicken baguette was just right too. Small selection of St Austell beers to compliment the food. Just what we wanted.

We stopped off on a whim for an evening meal and I am so happy we did.

Lovely friendly welcome for our evening meal. The coffee was served really hot as requested. Sausage, egg, beans and homemade style chips were just what we were looking for and was a good bargain.

With a family member moving to Bodmin three and a half years ago, Bodmin town has provided many great surprises. Bodmin town is very underestimated, soaked in a lot of history worth a look.

A group of 15 of us and our dog pre-ordered our lunches before walking in the area. We arrived much earlier than we said, but they were very welcoming and looked after us very well. They gave us our own room as there were a lot of cosy area for groups to sit. We ordered a variety of meals - jacket potatoes, sandwiches, fish etc. They had a good menu, but were dealing with a shortage of staff and so did not offer the main meals. As there was lots of variety, we all had exactly what we wanted.

Excellent service very friendly staff and great food. Wonderful atmosphere and reasonable prices. Always worth a visit.

Always a friendly welcome at the Weaver's.our roast beef and lamb were served quickly and was hot and very tasty. Will deffinetly go back.

Dropped in here on holiday after going on the steam railway. Staff are friendly with a good choice of lunch food. The chef came out to deliver the food and actually seemed to care if we liked it, which we did. Good food at good price, will return.

Was recommended the food so gave it a try. There was a party of four of us and our meal could be described in one word " shocking" . The food is cheap and it shows. The place looked filthy and run down. Sorry but cannot recommend. You pay for what you get.

On spec, dropped in for the advertised Sunday Roast. This place is so popular that by 12.30 pm the beef roast was finished, as was the apple strudel. However, the roast chicken and apple crumble with clotted cream was delightful. Booking is certainly recommended.

Look further than the menu outside as there is a specials board in the restaurant and bar. Food is ordered and paid for at the bar. I choose to eat in the restaurant which was quiet with only two other people. The waitress kindly took my order for the sweet from the specials menu and the chef did come out to make sure that it was exactly what I wanted. The prawn salad main course served with a mini loaf of bread was delicious.

Un menù non troppo vasto, ma il cibo era buono. Il locale è accogliente, lo staff gentile e disponibile. Prezzo assolutamente buono.

They were friendly and helpful with my mum who is disabled, my daughter and provided water for my parents dogs! We had a lovely roast for lunch!

We stopped here for lunch earlier this week whilst having a day out in Bodmin with our 13 year old and 3 year old. I had lamb in red wine with mash and veg which was very nice, as was our son's ham, egg and chips from the children's menu. Our overall favourites though were my daughter's burger, and especially my husband's chicken and leek pasta bake which was absolutely delicious! The staff were all really friendly and welcoming. The prices were really good, and there was also a choice of 2 meals for £8.99 which we didn't try this time round. We would definitely like to visit again next time we are in Cornwall! Many thanks!

This pub isa lovely friendly place food great goodchoice of dishes on menu and specials board my husband hadbab chicken which came on a skillet I had adelicious veggie burger and home cooked chips not skinny fries or oven chips

In the main room, you discover a typical pub, with billards & TV (showing football match). The owner, a sympathic & welcoming woman, indicated us the dining room and that we had to chose our meals & come back to her to order (the rules of the game were clear!).

Stopped at the Weavers for lunch with friends and family. Good kids menu and excellent value '2 for' menu (can't remember the price, less than a tenner). Although the portions were a bit tight and my pulled pork burger was a bit on the dry side (hence not 5 stars), it would've benefitted from a squeeze of bbq sauce or something. Family friendly with highchairs. Helpful and welcoming barmaid and excellent selection of drinks and cask ales.
