I loved this place. My idea of heaven, I was served the most delicious Brie sandwich and homemade cake surrounded by gorgeous vintage homewares and textiles, plants , taxidermy, lamps and comfy leather chairs. I wish I lived closer to go more. I could have spent a small fortune ....Thank you for looking after us so well and allowing us to have a lovely memory of our trip to Kent !

I enjoyed my visit to Weathered and Worn’s café. I did try to call beforehand to check if they were open but their voicemail says you can’t book a table (so I deduced they were open!) There was a somewhat limited choice for vegans but I had a lovely salad with a good helping of hummus, olives and roasted red peppers. There were lots of cakes, two of which were vegan, so I took a piece away. It was delicious. The cold drinks options were good. My friend and I enjoyed the elderflower drink. I didn’t ask regarding dairy-free milk for coffees but I’d be surprised if they didn’t. For veggies and vegans I’d recommend a summer visit and sit in the garden, as otherwise you will not be able to avoid coming face to face with the examples of taxidermy in the shop, which I find pretty distasteful, personally (and had I known about it beforehand I may not have visited!) But all in all, a pleasant experience.

So pleased to have found this place. Have driven past for years, and assumed it was just a tat shop, then walked in one day and found a great little cafe, more tea room than shop, selling delicious home made sandwiches. Friendly efficient service. Cakes and coffees look great - but need to wait for another visit (may need to skip the sandwiches and go straight for the cake - oh what a dilemma!) - also a pleasant sunny garden to sit out in. So pleased to have found this, will not be able to drive through Hadlow again without stopping.

I have been visiting Hadlow for many years and have never stopped here before . All I can say is what a wonderful charming find and I am really looking forward to my next visit. I enjoyed a pot of tea and toast all served in beautiful china cup and saucer and plate and my husband had a bacon sandwich made with quality doorstop bread. So interesting to see all the quirky items on sale and I am hoping that the weather will be better next time I visit so I can enjoy the outside seating area. The menu choice was excellent and I will definitely be trying the sandwiches next time and the homemade cakes. Very relaxed and friendly atmosphere , thank you 😊

This place is super cute inside. So many things to look at and I wanted to buy it all (but pricey to do so). I will echo what someone else said about it being difficult to browse if people are eating; there is no room to do so if the tables are occupied. I also had a coffee and some muesli, which were high quality and tasty. Worth a visit!

We visited over the Easter weekend because we like vintage, shabby chic things and it was recommended. When we entered it was full of things to look at, but the problem was that there were many tables with people having drinks and food that it was very hard to look around and look at all the things, you couldn’t get near to to some items. It felt like you we’re invading people’s space, they were watching you and it was awkward because there wasn’t enough room. The three women serving didn’t say hi when we entered just stared. they were talking amongst themselves at the counter, one of them wearing a navy pinstripe top stood in the way around the side of the counter with her elbow sticking out, so you could not walk through. What surprised us is that the other two women having seen us did not say anything to her. After we got passed one of the women made a terrible comment. Very rude women. Such a shame as it’s full of things with a nice outside corner to have a drink and food, but too many tables, too awkward, rude women. Uncomfortable

I am a paramedic and attended a call next to this coffee shop but unfortunately my response car sustained a flat tyre. I had to wait 45 minutes for the recovery man to change it and in the mean time the shop offered me a free coffee and sandwich whilst I waited. They were very friendly and the shop is lovely inside. Great food and coffee would recommend!

Visited with a friend one Friday afternoon - wasn’t that busy. We ordered tea and cakes and after half an hour realised we hadn’t received anything. Only one lady working but she was talking. I asked if she’d forgotten us and she half heartedly said have I? She brought our order over in due course. Amazing cakes and tea/coffee. Shame I had to remind her of our order. When I came to pay she ignored me and went into kitchen for 5 minutes. Finally paid with no apology and no goodbyes!! Previous visit was different friendly, professional experience. Depends on staff - hope you have better luck!

In the high street in Hadlow, this little independent coffee shop is also a small shop for vintage antiques. Pretty much all of the interior decorations have a little price tag on should they take your fancy. All the food is home-made and tastes great. A selection of cakes, soups and sandwiches. They have a good selection of teas and decent coffee crafted by hand. There is a small car park to the rear. Highly recommend a visit if you are in the area. The only downsides are the slightly short opening hours (check before you go) and it can get a bit crowded at peak times.

Bread and sandwich filling lovely - choice of food late on Saturday was limited as no soup or scones. Shared a selection of Brie and bacon, chicken Caesar and salmon and cream cheese. Stopped here on way through Hadlow, it was such a nice surprise to find an independent shop like this. I love interior design so to find a coffee shop that combines this element as well was great. Lots of seating and a couple of comfy sofas which we occupied whilst catching up on the news in the complimentary newspapers. There were several scrumptious home made cakes to choose from, which are served up in generous portions. Looking forward to a return visit and hopefully the weather will be nice to sit on the little terrace at the rear of the shop.

Visited on a Thursday afternoon as I have always driven past and thought "I must take a look in there!". Had a hot chocolate and piece of cake which was very nice, although quite expensive but made up by the fact that tables are dotted around in the shop amongst the items for sale, so you can almost browse while you eat! Lovely vintage touches and some fascinating items for sale, no purchases this time but looking forward to returning to browse again. Apparently the tea room at the back is open at the weekend only, I guess this would mean more space but I quite enjoyed feeling like part of the fixtures and fittings!!

I expected this place to be a bit pricey so I was pleasantly surprised to find that their prices are reasonable and in line with most tea shops. We live locally. Weathered and Worn is a super addition to the facilities of Hadlow Village. This is an excellent coffee shop with a range at least as good as the various chains one finds on the high streets of the towns/cities of our country; and in our view tastes better. The wide range of home made cake is also mouth wateringly good. They also do soups and sandwiches, which we haven't tried but if the coffee/cake is anything to go by will be just as good. All this against the interesting and nuanced 'shabby chic' background of 'vintage' furniture and home goods (the second side to their business and all very interesting) An extra plus for those coming from afar is the ample parking area adjacent to the property. Previously this was the old 'Prince of Wales 'pub, on the left as you leave the village travelling south on the busy A26 towards Tonbridge.

We live locally and were really pleased to see Weathered and Worn open up a cafe section earlier in the year.We have been several times at the weekend. The freshly made soups are delicious and come with a generous chunk of bread and an egg-cupful of butter! The sandwiches are on lovely thick slices of fresh bread and we've also enjoyed coffee and cake, with a good selection of home-made cakes and biscuits.Weathered and Worn is in an old Kent white weatherboard building, with a garden out the back with additional seating. The main seating area is at the back of the shop, which is decorated with some of the items for sale. A mix of tables and softer seating areas offer a variety of options, depending on whether you are eating, or just enjoying a coffee.

We were passing through Hadlow on a Sunday afternoon when we noticed that they have added a cafe to this antique shop, so we decided to stop. Initially we looked around the antique shop only, as we had just had lunch. We returned later in the afternoon and had coffee and cakes. There is a large car park to one side of the shop. It is a very large property inside with various rooms filled with very interesting antiques, and tables and chairs in each room where you can sit and eat. you order at the counter and they serve you at your table. I had a cappuccino and a meringue coffee cake, my wife had an americano and a piece of Victoria sponge. Both cakes were very moist and the Victoria sponge was covered in fresh fruit. The coffee was good too. The prices were reasonable. All in all, very good, apart from the fact the trip cost me £80 including all the antique purchases. I am sure we will return. It doesn't open on a Monday or Tuesday.
