Good place. Service is too good.

I visited waves restaurant in Southend during lunch time last Wednesday and was very impressed with the food and the service. Each member of staff I came across was friendly and accommodating. I had a margarita pizza which I could not recommend enough! Cheap and tasty - what more do you want? Will definitely be visiting again. Thanks to all the ladies working that day - you were lovely and so so helpful x

Cada jueves en el tiempo a corto plazo el nivel 3 estudiantes de catering proporciona la comida para los miembros del público para disfrutar. Tienes que reservar, pero la visita es muy vale la pena. He estado muchas veces y siempre hay una buena selección de entrantes, platos principales y pudines para personas que comen carne, como pescado y aquellos que son vegetarianos. Los estudiantes que toman los pedidos y servir la comida son educados pero amable, así que se ponen a su antojo. Incluso puedes tener una botella de vino para acompañar la comida. Como miembro de Thorpe Bay Lawn Tennis Club, que organiza visitas para nuestros miembros a establecimientos para comer 'sabor locales principalmente a los restaurantes recientemente inaugurados de ensayo, extraoficialmente se puede entender. Disfrutamos de una deliciosa cena de tres platos con amigos!La comida estaba muy bien presentado y las opciones muy bueno. Para empezar, tuve un risotto de hongos y fue perfecto. Después tuve John dory con gambas y mejillones que era igualmente sabrosos y, de nuevo, muy bien indicado y, finalmente, una selección de tres postres diferentes, todos ellos excelentes!El servicio era bueno y el ambiente relajado y cómodo.Tres de nosotros liquidados los platos que muestra cómo estábamos satisfechos!Sin duda se debería recomendar "olas" a la familia y amigos y yo pienso volver tan pronto como lo puede y no esperar por una "oferta" de comprar uno a mitad de precio ya que la comida era increíblemente razonable de todas maneras y vale la pena cada céntimo.Muchas gracias.

Top West End food at local prices. If you like good quality food in a lovely setting then give this restaurant a try, you won't be disappointed.

Yo trabajo para el colegio lo que vuelve a la hora de comer o un té rápido es muy a mano, el personal es fabuloso, los aprendices son siempre alegre, lo que lo convierte en un gran ambiente. La comida es todos los y de un alto nivel de calidad preparados por el catering estudiantes a un precio razonable y el personal.¡Gracias a todos! : -)

Visitamos el restaurante para la cena Navidad como un club. Habíamos oído que la comida y el servicio era bueno. No nos decepcionó, la calidad de la comida, la presentación y el servicio que recibimos fue nada menos que excelente Nos atendió una amable y muy eficiente equipo, nada era un problema. Todos los miembros del club eran totalmente atendidos y nos hicieron sentir muy bienvenidos. Regresaremos para más ...

Aunque abierta por los alumnos (bajo supervisión) tanto en la cocina abierta y el frente de la casa, la comida y el servicio son nada menos que excelente y muy profesional. De hecho tanto podría competir en la mayoría de los otros restaurantes en la zona e incluso algunos en Londres, por una fracción del precio. Hemos visitado en un par de ocasiones previas y siempre hemos disfrutado los eventos y menús temáticos regulares, que son siempre muy bien pensado y ejecutado. Esta vez, hicimos un grupo de 12 por una comida de Navidad y fue impecable, otra a pesar, fiesta más grande en las mesas junto a nosotros. Recomendaríamos una visita y sólo puede elogiar los estudiantes y al personal por su excelente labor.

Visited with two friends for Xmas dinner after another friend recommended it Food was fabulous< choices of turkey< salmon or beef strogonoff for mains< pate soup of prawn and avocado, yule log with conserve, xmas pud and carammelised cheesecake! Portions were huge< cooked by college students, and waited on by youngsters under the supervision of two very charming ladies Service was excellent< our young girl was on her first shift and was looked after well by her supervisor< Couldnt find anything to criticise< We booked in advance as it was xmas dinner and we have fully laid table with crackers. Booked in at college reception and were given a badge for security Charming chap took our coats Treated like queens and dined like kings!!

Soy un estudiante de largo plazo del colegio y vimos sus aprendices de estudiante desarrolle enorgullecido chefs creativos, etc. La comida es increíble, preparado con tanto cuidado y atención. Las mesas están muy bien vestido. Mención especial para Jo, Ryan, Molly y Clare, siempre allí para saludarme con la mejor sonrisa y un café con leche en Southend on morningb fría. Me encanta x

Cooked by students under the supervision of trained chefs.All these students will go on to work in fine dining restaurants. This includes to the waiting staff as well as the chefs. A really nice way to spend an evening with top quality food at very reasonable prices.

A group of 9 of us enjoyed a super lunch at Waves. We have been before for lunch and afternoon tea and today's visit was just as good if not better than before. The portions are very generous as well as being very tasty and flavoursome. Most of us had a three course meal because we fancied having the three courses but unfortunately we did have to leave quite a bit of food on the plate because there was so much. The service was excellent, efficient and friendly. Excellent value. These young people deserve to get good jobs when they finish their course.

Waves is the training restaurant for South Essex College, and it's a hidden gem with great food, fantastic prices and good service. Its well trained students well deserve to find their way to some of the best restaurants in future. We've been served by young people of many differing abilities and at different stages of their studies, and sampled everything from quick snacks to Christmas Dinners and special event evenings and the food is always terrific. The biggest problem is working out how to get there, but it's easier than you think. Just go in through the college reception area, collect an identity tag and take the lift to the second floor. You won't regret it, and it's nice to know that your custom is also helping the students to hone their catering, presentation, waiting and communication skills, too.
