Takeaway ordered. Service very quick and the food...well we have found out go to for fantastic tasty food and excellent service. Had chicken madras and chicken dhansak. Best we have tasted since moving here 2 years ago. My wife said that the peshwari naan was best she's ever tasted. Thank you Ashina we will definitely be back 100%.

Love the hospitality of this venue, everyone is his favourite customer and he certainly remembers personal details between visits. A decent meal deal option involving starters, main and sides. Drinks priced as expected. Went Saturday night with a party of 5 we was waiting ages for food to come out seemed to be concentratating on the take away part more than the restaurant customers delivaroo etc only got the attention we should have had all night when the pick ups slowed down . We booked on a Sunday evening for my sons birthday as we were visiting the area. We were offered the buffet which was fantastic value, fresh starters brought to the table and free nann bread to order. The buffet was a good selection and everyone enjoyed. Service was brilliant. Would thoroughly recommend.

We came for the Sunday buffet which was very good. The curries are very often inferior at buffets as they are made in bulk but I have to say the half dozen on offer were I thought as good as ordering a la carte. Personally I would prefer chicken tikka and pakora starters in the serve yourself area rather than served by a waiter, but I’m guessing it’s an economical reason. I did enjoy the fact you order a naan bread and it’s freshly made for you. I thought it was well worth the money, very enjoyable and will return.

Fabulous As always delicious. We came here on our first day that we moved to Southchuch and we have loved it ever since. Please don't tell anyone else that it is so nice or else we will never get a table

we went last night for the first time and the service and food was amazing! we got lamb chops, tikka masala, peshwari naan, and onion bhaji’s and we thoroughly enjoyed every bite. we were stuffed and even took some home! the owner talked to us at the end of the meal and made sure we had a lovely time. we highly recommend!

One of the best Indian restaurants ive ever been to in my whole life :) the food was delicious and the service was great too, we were given complementary food and drinks and hot hand wipes! my boyfriend took me here and we are definitely coming back next time I visit. We got amazing and delicious food of good quality and I would definitely recommend this to everyone!! The bathrooms are also very clean and the restaurant itself is as well and it is air conditioned and fresh inside

delivery was late , which is fine on a Saturday , bhaji cold , chichen shashlik overcooked and dry.

Not happy at all as was sent 2x lamb madras which was not what I ordered, wanted chicken. Meat was too chewy so threw it in the bin. Shame as we really love your curries but today was a waste of money.

Awful onion Bahji with peppers in for some reason. Both mains were horrible. thr Tandoori chicken wad covered in sauce when it should be dry. Even the Popadoms had a strange taste. All in all one of the worst Indian meals I've ever had. Rubbish!!

I've been here lots of times over the years. The food is always fantastic, as is the service and the overall experience, always followed by a complimentary drink. If you've never been, you're missing out!

Looking for supper before a nearby concert we contacted Ashiana at short notice. They were super efficient in serving a memorable meal very promptly. Top marks for both the Lamb Shatkora and the Bindi Gosht!

Food quality is not good at all

I did try to call, however the line was constantly busy. Thank you for reading the order notes. Unfortunately the chicken was so tough and didn't seem to be fresh so I couldn't eat it. Absolutely delicious. I had the Chicken Tikka Passanda with Bombay Potato and Channa Masala, and even though the delivery was a little late and the food lukewarm, I would definitely order again. Well worth the wait.

Absolutely 1st class meal and service

Order was supposed to be delivered at 8.45pm. Sitting here currently at 9.40pm and still no food delivered. Rang them up and they said the chef hasn’t come in so orders in the kitchen are backed up. Then don’t take orders on just eat then if you can’t handle them tonight! Really poor. Can’t even be bothered to eat it if it ever arrives!

Delivery time was great. But most tasteless curry i think ive ever had. Must have been watered down as literally tasted of barely anything.

I ordered a delivery last night as have always enjoyed their food but last night it was inedible... all the meat tasted VERY salty and had to throw it away which is a shame as have always enjoyed the food previously.

delivery driver took food to wrong address, turned up late and food stone cold, refused delivery and he took the cold food back to the restaurant. Still hungry, will never order from there ever again. now awaiting a refund from just eat.

The food was very nice. Unfortunately, it took over 2 hours to arrive, it was initially delivered to the wrong address. 2 phone calls later to chase the order it finally arrived but by 10pm I had got passed the point of wanting it. The restaurant were very apologetic but that didn’t really negate a nearly 2.5 hr wait for food!!

We ordered a whole array of food as a Saturday night treat it arrived on time with a smile. Sadly, the food wasn’t to our taste and we weren’t sure whether the lamb in our food was actually lamb as when me and my mum tried cutting through it was like an epic battle to cut. In fact one piece went flying across the room. Although this lightened up the evening it was enough to distract us from the fact it wasn’t traditional by any means nor was it hot. Really sweet bland veg soup with chunks of meat

Shocking performance, blatantly trying to rip us off with their Valentines Day menu. I booked a table with you 3 weeks ago in your restaurant and YOU did not inform me there was a set menu - I don't eat at restaurants that have set menus as they are a scam, as yours most certainly was!!! We decided to leave then my partner and I were subject to all kinds of abuse. One of the waiters followed us out into the street and hurled move abuse. Disgraceful behaviour towards your customers!! I have no idea how you’ve won any awards, totally unacceptable service all round. I would not recommend your restaurant to anyone and I hope that people that read this review acknowledge the appalling service and behaviour we experienced and go elsewhere. There are plenty of much better curry houses around Southend that care and look after their customers!!! In response to your reply, I booked the table directly IN YOUR RESTAURANT!! YOU DID NOT MAKE ME AWARE OF A SET MENU AT THE TIME OF BOOKING - that is your mistake, not mine! My partner did not want to eat the amount of food on your set menu, she ordered one starter dish and rice, yet you still wanted to charge £30. That is inflexible, not customer centric and a BLATANT RIP OFF. When we decided to leave you immediately became abusive. It seems you only look after those customers that don't raise any questions about your so called value for money menus. You clearly have no capacity to deal with customers that want something different from what YOU want. Don't forget, your business is wholly dependant on having customers show up at your restaurant. If you don't treat people properly your business will fail...YOU FAILED!! Word gets around about poorly run businesses!!!

AWFUL EXPERIENCE! Rude, sexist staff who have no idea about customer service. Have visited previously and the food was mediocre at best, this time we left before food due to the attitude of the staff who then became abusive. All these one star reviews can't be wrong!!

The food was at my door less than 15 minutes after I ordered it. While it’s super fast service, there’s no way it was fresh food, which you could tell by the bread which was hard and stale, and the meat was dry and chewy. The meal was adequate at best, has left me feeling unwell and I won’t be ordering from this restaurant again.

After living in the area for over 20+years hearing the name but never knowing where it was-this is now our go to! We’ve visited the restaurant twice and have had a takeaway. Our last visit was last night and I cannot fault the food, service and atmosphere. We went with friends, we always try something different, my husband chose the Khata Mitta and it didn’t disappoint! Helpful attentive staff, great evening and left full to the brim and happy! See you again soon.

We visited the restaurant a couple of years ago and absolutely loved it, so much so that we mention it regularly when we’re trying to decide where to eat out (unfortunately we’re not local enough to come here on a whim). Dined here again tonight and as before the food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming. I wish I could give more than 5*! I’d even go so far as to say this is our favourite restaurant in South Essex!

Had an amazing dinner at Ashiana, booked for just after they opened and the restaurant filled very quickly. Food arrived swiftly and was all very hot. Ordered starters and mains and was very impressed with flavour and texture of all the food. This is the second visit but is the second of many more to come.
