This place is the kind of gem where you’d be kicking yourself if you found it on the last day of your holiday: we stumbled across it at the beginning, fortunately, which meant we could come back more than once! Their full breakfasts are wonderful, and the veggie options are good too. Everything is cooked fresh to order but nevertheless the service is snappy. It’s properly dog-friendly and the staff are all great.

One of the best places for breakfast I have been to for many years, the attentive service the quality of the food and the atmosphere are outstanding. Dogs are allowed and is very clean and tidy. Worth a trip. Well done to all at Watson

Been coming here for over 10 years and have never had such poor service! Waited over 15 mins to be served and when approached staff they thought it highly amusing that we were waiting!!! Took everyone’s orders before us who came in after us. Apparently they missed us which find it hard to believe as came to large table behind us and next to us and still doesn’t take the order. Customer service training is a must for that place. Would’ve spent money on cake and big breakfasts but won’t be coming here again! It’s obvious as it does so well as a business they don’t care! Left without having anything as not going to spoil a lovely planned day!

Very, very good. Went as a group of 12, so we tested the breadth of the menu. No one disappointed. Lovely staff. Good food and plenty of it. Thanks

Myself and two other ‘Full English’ lovers have a Saturday Morning Breakfast Club and Watsons is always close to the top of the list, to be honest, it’s worth the 30 minute drive for the fried bread alone, we love it! The staff are really friendly and the food is aces. Top marks all round!

An excellent cafe that we visited for breakfast, with our dog. The food was very tasty; the vegetarian option with avocado was a nice change, and our dog enjoyed the doggie sausage on offer. A really good experience.

Away on holiday and goodness what a find we stumbled on. Dog friendly cafe that sells amazing food. So good we went back 3 times. If we were there longer we go again. All food freshly cooked, presented well and fairly priced. Sandwiches like doorstops, loads of filling and delicious. My daughter had a cooked breakfast that was tasty and used local produce. The cakes were amazing apparently made locally. Blondies, brownie, flapjacks, scones. So much more, spoilt for choice. Friendly staff and parking. A real must if you are in area. Highly recommend

We ordered a selection of savoury food for 17 people for a family celebration. Sam was very helpful and gave us a lovely choice of food from which to choose. The food was beautifully presented and we all agreed that it was delicious. Don't hesitate to use their outside catering services.

Very lovely pancakes! I had a pancake stack with blueberries, cream, and added bacon 🥓🥓 a real treat to beat the January blues. These were good value as I got a big portion for the price. If you are big tea drinkers I would recommend being sure to ask for builders tea to bring the cost down, and to save space on the small tables (and no tea pot faff). When we came the service a bit slow 🦥 but very friendly. We were on a high barstool table which wasn't the most comfortable, but also, we were a walk-in and grateful to have been seated. Toilets are in good order (has been the case across multiple visits). There's a courtyard.
