A large area in Waterstones is occupied by this cafe. Lovely coffee and very good selection of cakes and snacks, counter service but very helpful with older customers. Great friendly staff and moderate prices - very popular with the locals.

We changed from Costa to Waterstones to get a decent cup of coffee and a slice of cake, excellent coffee but sometimes the choices of cake is limited.

This is such a good idea, have a coffee/tea and browse the many books. I usually meet one of my friends here for a good old chinwag, but sometimes I come in on my own to look through the books. The refreshments are very good. There's no actual toilet in this cafe/bookshop but the Sovereign Centre loos aren't far away. Very nice atmosphere and ambience.

Visited from Australia with family. Last week a gentleman behind the counter knew exactly what to do as we walked in asking for 9 hot drinks and cakes. He was superb, pleasant and speedy. This week we visited again with a younger lady at the counter. A bit of a smile wouldn’t go astray. Never the less drinks were fine but there was confusion with the soup. Would still return though.

The cafe is clean tidy and inviting. The cake counter could be made more attractive. The staff have no urgency to serve you and there is no leadership.

Popped in with a friend and my baby daughter for a coffee, what a cozy little place! It ticks all the boxes, really good coffee, great service. We were served by Jonathan, this gentleman made our day, he went extra two miles for us! Exceptional customer service yet very natural manner. Can't sing his praises enough, don't let him go whatever you do!!

This is a bookshop run by book lovers for book lovers. It is a haven on Weston shopping centre with its own independent coffee shop which I love (previously was Costa which I hated). Staff are helpful efficient and most importantly knowledgable about their book stock. Great for kids too!!

Although the cafe in Waterstones is really cute and cosy, it was a bit expensive in my opinion. I had "loose leaf tea" which was actually a tea bag, and a hummus and sun dried tomato sandwich. What the issue was is that the sandwich didn't come with any side of salad which is what I was expecting for £4.10 and it was pretty small and lacked filling. If it was maybe £3 it wouldn't have been so bad. Also other items such as a ham and cheese toastie- both items of which are more expensive than hummus and tomatoes, was the same price. And a bacon brioche roll was £3.50. I don't understand the pricing myself, there are probably other things influencing it but from a customer perspective, it was pretty steep. Other than that staff were pretty nice and I enjoyed the atmosphere

Knowledgable "booky" staff, well laid out store and great coffee shop make this a haven from shopping in WsM. Grab a new book then read the first few chapters over a coffee and cake. Heaven!

After a couple of beach days we decided to head into town for some retail therapy and Waterstones is always a popular option with the kids. We had no idea that there was a cafe inside Waterstones and, finding plenty of space and a good drinks menu, we decided to give it a try.

The pub itself is ok but be really careful if you park in the car park next to it. I didn't see the sign that I had to get a parking permit from the bar. Perhaps it would have been an idea if the bar staff had checked if I'd parked outside? Two drinks ended up costing me £70 once Civil Enforcement had done their worst.

Not overly large place so booking is advisable. Having said that, 4 of us turned up without a reservation having had some difficulty in booking a table ? However, the lovely guy at the desk shuffled things around and got us a table. What a great experience ! Chicken, beef, lamb dishes were amazing! Rice, noodles, potatoes, salad, pasta, fish, calamari, chocolate cake, chocolate fountain, gatuea, whippy ice-cream, array of fresh fruit etc etc ... So many choices! We were VERY impressed and have already booked a return visit ! Staff are helpful and polite and kept very busy ! We thought it was good value for money. £13 for children. £20 for adults ...evening price . I think a little cheaper on a lunch time ? All in all a very good experience.

Had a large group of 17 friends pre booked in for our Christmas party yesterday, the food choices were placed and deposits taken well in advance. One person had a starter which came out over 3/4 and hour before any of the main meals arrived. The main meals were good on the whole , but the chicken tikka masala didn't taste right (and for this reason) it wasn't eaten, it should have had cream or yoghurt in the sauce, but neither of them appeared to be present. My Mediterranean salad was mostly lettuce and had no olives or feta which are commonly used in this dish, also my tequila tiger prawns were a small portion considering the price, another of our group had a Waldorf salad which was not very large considering it was a main meal on the menu. One of our party asked if we could have some music and was told they couldn't do that, but the TVs were on and showing football, even though we didn't want to watch them, and nobody other than our group, were sat in the area.

Great coffee shop in a great location looking out on the marina, on a nice day it can get very busy! As with all Costa, it's quite expensive but you do get decent food and drink. The lemon drizzle cake is amazing! Nice that you can get a free drink every now and then if you use the Costa app to collect points.
