Fabulous food, great service and a wonderful view. The sole was amazing as were the scallops ! Highly recommend, a hidden gem.

This restaurant is a fantastic find on the harbourside in Flushing. We had some wonderful food during our week in Falmouth, but this was the best. The small menu does everything brilliantly, with a cornish twist. Whatever fish is on the menu, just have that, chef turns it into something amazing! Great friendly service too. Will be back next year.

We booked ahead and were seated inside, although there is a good sunny area outside with tables. The roast pork was delicious with some amazing crackling, roast potatoes and sides of veg and extra gravy. The desserts were beautifully presented although could have been a bit more generous with the portions sizes. A great little find with friendly staff. Love it!

Perfect Sunday lunch. Overlooking Flushing Harbour with its rustic Cornish charm. Service attentive and friendly. Food was best we've for a while .. really good. Not overpriced small portions here. Chef knows what he's doing .. 👌

Well it’s soo good to see things done the right way that you can only hope for these days! Excellent service with warmth and care to every detail. The food was beyond exceptional and delivered promptly with flare. The owners Tom and his beautiful partner Fade run a great family eatery that we highly recommend. So much so we’re visiting again this week. High quality produce and the service and care to match. Well done guys

Waterside is an absolute gem of a place, hands down the best place to eat in and around Flushing. I've eaten roasts and evening meals here, the menu is seasonally fresh and locally sourced and simply delicious. Make sure you don't skip dessert either. It's a friendly and relaxed atmosphere that suits family occasions, romantic dinners and impromptu gatherings. The staff are absolutely wonderful and super friendly. And there's eat views from the quay too... Worth a trip to Flushing especially for this place.

We had an amazing meal for my friends birthday. The food was delicious especially the lobster and scollops which were divine. The staff we really attentive and friendly. Was a lovely evening would highly recommend.

Met by very friendly staff. Restaurant ambience was not overly cosy for a January evening. Lighting was a bit harsh and it felt quite cold. Really don't want to be negative as hospitality are really struggling at the moment. We did however feel that the food was overpriced. £22 for fish and chips and £28 for a small steak, mash, some seared lettuce and three onion rings. The staff were lovely and the food tasty but we didn't feel it was good value for money.

Great little restaurant, delicious food and great service. Small menu but all the dishes we tried were really very good. A big shout out to the girl, sorry we didn't catch your name, who was front of house and who was fantastic. Catered easily for dietary requirements with diary and gluten free in our group. Would recommend without a seconds thought.

Tucked away in the tiny village of Flushing on the quay side by the ferry is this lovely quiet restaurant. We initially went in to have just a drink and got talking to the chef who was very friendly and welcoming. He mentioned that it was advisable to book so we did. The food was delicious and well presented. I had my favourite which is ray and my husband had hake and chips. We didn’t have dessert as we had shared a baked Camembert to start. As we were staying locally we booked again another night and we both had ribeye steak which was cooked to perfection. We will definitely go again next time we are in the vicinity.

Excellent food in an intimate restaurant on the quayside in Flushing. Great service too. Will be back to sample the breakfast over the weekend! On the way out, one of the local fishing boats moored at the quay to drop off fresh fish to the kitchen. Quality stuff.

A character-filled and intimate restaurant perched on the edge of a pier in the beautiful fishing village of Flushing. At first sight we expected a cafe but as we read the menu we had to book a table to experience the unusual dishes listed. They accommodated our large family party of ten plus two babies and we sampled around half of the menu washed down with some Atlantic Ale. Storm Antoni produced a dramatic backdrop to our meal resulting in a special occasion we will never forget. The food was excellent and good value for money and the staff were friendly and very helpful. Superb.

The first time we went it wasn’t open - closed Monday and Tuesday - a bit surprised as it was June ! The service wasn’t great, quite slow and quite uncoordinated. However the venue is very nice sitting next to the water. I think they need to up their gain!

What a great little place this is. Tucked away on the quay in Flushing, on the opposite side of the river to Falmouth, it is an absolute hidden gem. We first tried it for an evening meal as we were staying just along the road and it was the nearest place to eat - and we are so glad we did. We liked it so much we took my aunt and uncle, who were staying nearby, the following evening. Great food, pleasant staff, great service and pretty good value for money too. Highly recommended.

Like many reviewers, we found this place by accident and what a gem it is. Great views across to Falmouth and a simple but delicious menu coupled with great service. Yummy monkfish and chips plus roast beef with gherkin and blue cheese sandwich. We can recommend 100%.

Superb family run restaurant. You are made so welcome at this tiny unique waterside restaurant. The food is just delicious. There is a new menu each day depending on what the fishermen being in Dog friendly too which is a great advantage.

Delicious Eggs Royale at this delightful restaurant right on the Quay side in the heart of flushing. We had a very cosy booth seat and chatted away over hot drinks, all very nice and very tasty.

Came here following a day out on the boat. Highly recommend the Sunday lunch. Fresh veg and lovely homemade Yorkshire puddings, beef cooked to perfection. Service with a smile. What more could we ask for.

Visited on a sunny August Sunday for my wife’s birthday with family. Really wanted some good seafood and stumbled across this place after remembering hearing good things. Honestly the food was all incredible, two of us had bbq monkfish, which was huge and cooked perfectly....

Eat here several times during our week long stay in flushing. The food was always very enjoyable and good value for money with a varied selection to choose from. Staff were very kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

We did a cottage rental in Flushing and, since the Waterside is the only restaurant in town (besides the pubs), we knew we'd have to try it. SO glad we did - and, in fact, went twice! The first time, I had mussels and my spouse had scallops - the biggest, most tender, delicious mussels I have ever had!! and wonderful, tender fresh scallops. Literally, both were caught that day....no way to be fresher. On our second visit, we shared mussels and paella. While the mussels were still wonderful, they were smaller (a factor of the change in weather I believe). The paella was great, though we enjoyed the scallops from our first dinner more. This small, casual restaurant - with fantastic customer service - is well worth the drive (or ferry ride) to get to. Would love to be close enough to enjoy it again!!

This is a wonderful restaurant to visit, we had such a lovely experience whilst on holiday with our family. We took our parents here for a meal, and they don't very often eat out, but I can quite happily say they enjoyed everything about going to the Waterside. The food was very tasty, we all had fresh fish, and lots of wine too. I loved the building and how comfortable it was inside. Well worth a visit!
