Love this place, especially the soups and rice balls 😋

Very nice and light food options. I have a sensitive stomach and my meal was very great for a light food option. The cucumber avocado roll I had was SOOOO refreshing ❤️

Last Ftiday 6.09. I have ordered meal with chicken. On the evening and later whole night I was vomiting and next day I had diarrhea. I did a stool sample. My results: Campylobacter. These bacteria are live in poorly prepared meat- bad meat processing. Please check the place, where do you buying the meat- Food inspection. I have never got food poisoning! Please take this good advise and check the place where you buying your meat to your Restaurant. Kind Regards

Fresh, tasty and quality food with a lovely interior right in the heart of my favourite city, Cambridge. Was some of the best food I've ever had. I highly recommend this fine establishment.

Fancied sushi come here and wasn’t disappointed ended up buying the mini tokyo salmon set and a tofu donburi really really good and wasn’t disappointed at all will definitely be coming back again would recommend if you are looking for something on the healthier side, 5 star.

It's very good, if you want the best bang for your buck go for the curries. (Also go upstairs it's better air conditioned and less people)

A fast food place to eat japanese food

Food was great as usual. A good bang for your buck. It’s fairly healthy and the staff is always pleasant.

Usual Wasabi, good quality sushi at a decent price. Unfortunately many times they run out of sushi sets, and the vegetarian options seems to be more limited than in the past which is a pity.

Lovely chicken Katsu Curry. Tasted very similar to the ones we buy from the supermarkets but a little bit better. Shame my wooden fork snapped. Will have to buy some travel cutlery.

We had lunch today from this place. Bought as take away. The Teriyaki chicken had just one piece of chicken that to microscopic!! Generally food quality has gone down. If I was eating on site I would have made the manager eat it! I have bought food from this place several times previously. Costs have gone up, quantity and quality are down. If you want something similar and better value try ITSU on the opposite side of the street or yo or even Sushi from Aldi!

A convenient stop when you're hungry

I had the new Dragon Sushi Roll box with salmon sushi, but my dad and I felt a bit ill about two hours after eating it. It was rather disappointing, especially since we spent £21 on a box of sushi to share, and the taste was not pleasant either.

I must have come for at least five times (I guess I just didn’t learn my lessons), but none I was satisfied, none. They put too much oil but too little flavour in the dishes. I thought it’s because I tried meat dishes, until today I tried vegan and found out it was exactly as greasy as the ones I tried.

The bag was ruined and had issues! My food was ruined

We bought sushi with salmon, onigiri with tuna and a veg. gyodza. The while family got sick the same evening with vomiting and diarrhea. Very disappointing.

Food hall with a school canteen vibe

I ordered prawn tom yum noodle soup. Unfortunately, there were only 2 small pieces of prawn for this almost £9 soup noodles. This was a rip off in that sense. Otherwise - good attention to detail. Food was warm and the comments were checked (provided red chilli in a small container as requested for the soup).

Reasonable prices and staff are so friendly.

This is a grocery chain store serving factory made meals off the fridge. You can read the ingredients to see the food is full of additives, artificial flavours and colours. Most of the food is just grain with little meat or fish to look better

The food was damaged, The box was broken, soup was leaking

Stopped in for a quick bite to share, just something to line the stomach. We opted for a small platter (10 pieces). Everything was so fresh and light, and absolutely delicious. Really refreshing and tasty, and we’d definitely be back for a proper lunch there at a later date.

Couldn’t deliver what I had ordered, but they called me to let me know. They ended up giving me two meals that were amazing. Service was great and the food was excellent.

Had Wasabi Sushi Takeaway, we had the Harmony Set and Vegan Avocado Hosomaki Set. It as very fresh and was very tasty

Love this food mostly all fresh, but I kinda suggest to buy as take away cause eating in the restaurant there are a few extra cost for it . Therefore if you are planning to buy a onigiri, mochi, dorayaki etc.. that is small and not to hard to eat it in the way I suggest not to eat there. As for ramen and the curry I haven’t tried maybe one day I will try and enjoy it.

it’s was very good and yummy but one time there was a bone in my salmon which is, meh but apart from that it was great!

My sister and I took out some food packs. I found them surprisingly delish. Fresh and tasty. No fishy taste or smell at all.

The food was delicious and fresh and the reception very polite.

Good sushi and rice dish for a quick lunch. Have seating area if you fancy eating in. The fish was all right but can't complain from a convenience point of view.

9pm half price/discount on foods - a win in my book! Good Japanese fast food maybe not Japan level but good enough.

Wasabi is always great for tasty and convenient food. The hot bento is never a let down but probably could do with a bit more rice. Would be awesome if they could add extra rice option on delivery, I wouldn’t mind paying a bit extra I just feel like I finish all the rice 3 spoonfuls in.

Great food at a reasonable price.

Be aware that despite opening times showing they close at 930, they start to close down at 730 so they may be sold out. Toilets closed at 730 as well.

The little moons mochi ganache chocolate flavour is a must try! Sushis are all right neither extra ordinary nor bad. Place is pleasant and clean.

Chicken boxes are good; amount of veg in each box varies. I almost had none this time.

No wasabi or soy sauce was provided despite purchasing a massive box of sushi. Chopsticks were not provided either.

It's a nice restaurant for Sushi, especially. I had a Katsu Chicken bowl, which was very nice. Other half loved his sushi.

Food is nice, can be quite expensive VERY busy with no real system, it'd s complete free for all with people shoving in everywhere. Can barely hear yourself let alone the quiet cashier

Great place to get cheap yet delicious sushi. A bit disappointing that you have to buy ginger separately but soy sauce and wasabi is provided. Dine in costs more than take out.

I never realised they had an upstairs

The brasserie is clean and very well presented. The food is really tasty and well presented. The staff are helpful, and the set menu represents good value.

I love Wasabi restaurants. They see, a variety of hot and cold food and snacks and drinks. The store in Cambridge is located on the corner of Petty Cury in the city centre. It's a short walk from Kings College and really close to the Grand Arcade. I visited with my family and we were all really satisfied with our food. Very tasty! The staff were really friendly and welcoming.

Very good experience. Ready prepacked boxes can be chosen, warm food or sushi, paid and can be eaten there or taken out. Nice desserts as well.

Decent food, service basically non existent as you only pay at the till and the rest is up to you.

Any kind of sushi that isn’t freshly made will always taste old. This place has sushi that is better than supermarket quality but it’s not freshly made on site. I accompanied my sushi with a packet of tasty rice crackers. Decor is very minimalist with annoying cold air curtains on the fridges to hinder choosing what to buy.

Normal bento/sushi fare and up to Wasabi's high standards. I would have liked the chance to pick and choose my sushi as opposed to being limited to pre-packed boxes but that's just a personal thing. I am sure there are good reasons behind it.

Service was fast, and the restaurant was clean and tidy. Unfortunately, the food left a lot to be desired. I had a sweet chilli chicken type hot meal and the chicken was tough and rubbery and the sauce was sickly sweet. The noodles that accompanied the chicken were good. The dumplings I also had were good.

So I went here for some sushi. It was ok... Not great but not too bad, only issue is they charged me more to eat in and when I asked they said it was tax ontop... I was confused cause you have to display prices with tax included here in the UK. If you want to charge more for eating in go for it but put 2 prices on the shelf and dont try to deflect by saying its VAT.

Great sushi. Plenty of variety. Also option for some veggie or chicken dumplings and also rice or noodle dishes.

The sushi is good, usually fresh. The trays are ready and you can choose from the shelves. Affordable value. It is possible to eat there, but I don't think it's comfortable or clean enough.

Very disappointed with the quality of the sushi, even worse than the supermarket sushi. Rice was not properly cooked, salmon was not fresh, couldn't finish my box, have to throw half box away. Feel sad that wasabi couldn't keep the quality it used to when just opened. Won't come back again.

Grumpy service, plastic laiden box to make box seem bigger, hard bits of rice in California rolls, no cans in fridge only tepid 10 degree pepsi. No pickled ginger. On the plus side the vegan salmon was good. Will avoid in the future, with a drink I nearly paid a tenner, poor value.

Worst bento I’ve ever had. Low quality, tasteless stuff. Avoid!
