The katsu was delicious as was the green tea. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes Asian cuisine . They also make a descent ramen.

Myself and two of my staff dined at this restaurant last night I must say that this restaurant is well above the average Wagamama When we arrived we were promptly seated My only negative comment was that despite the restaurant not excessively busy it took longer than expected for a waitress to take our order and then only after we asked to be served However our chosen dishes arrived promptly and was hot and tasty We all throughly enjoyed our food which included Pad thai , steamed buns , Gouzo and hot stews The restaurant is located in central Cambridge and parking is available but at a paid rate

Made a special trip with my 2 son's to this particular Wagamama's restaurant at Cambridge leisure Park because I had received wagamama gift cards.My sons ordered the same dish, and both came with completely different amounts of ingredients .My dish was incorrect and was sent back, both starters of chilli squid where really chewy.Ordered drinks and 2 arrived and the 3rd took another 15 minutes to arrive.Only one Gift card worked staff said second card had expired and but was only given to me for Christmas 2023.Waitress was really miserable as was some of the other staff which did gave a bad impression overall Finally realised on viewing my receipt when I got home I had been overcharged and had paid for the incorrect dish that was given to me.I have been to many Wagamama's and this is without doubt the worst on all aspects

I went to Wagamama last Sunday as my son had chosen to go there for his 14th birthday. When we ordered we were told that about 50% of the dishes weren’t available. Specifically any grilled chicken items were off the menu. Despite the place being nearly empty at peak time the waiters seemed to not have the time to serve in a way that made you feel wanted there. The plates and bowls were plonked in front of us. Getting extra drinks seemed to be an issue. And getting Amai sauce was too much to ask for apparently. The whole experience was super disappointing, especially as it was a birthday treat. I don’t think any of us is intending to return. The place looks quite shabby now, the toilets are disgusting, the service was at best mediocre and the price doesn’t match what you’re getting. You’ve lost a good customer there. It’s not even the first time. But this time it was really too bad.

Despite being a franchise associated with London's hospitality, the service was surprisingly slow, perhaps due to understaffing during the New Year period. The location, just 160 meters from our hotel, was convenient, but that's where the positives end. Regrettably, the taste of the dishes was far from satisfactory. The ramen noodles lacked flavor, and the broth was disappointingly bland. The gyoza was mediocre at best, and the katsu with curry was a letdown as the overpowering bitterness of the curry masked any semblance of the katsu's taste. Even the yakisoba failed to impress, falling short of expectations. Overall, Wagamama failed to deliver the delightful Japanese and Korean flavors we anticipated, leaving us with a subpar dining experience.

Delicious. It is just a Wagas at the end of the day. I understand they need to cram as many people in to as little space as possible to make as much money as possible, but this particular restaurant is pushing those limits! It's pretty much guaranteed that you'll be sat next to strangers.

Just a quick stop lunch had the wok fried greens and udon bowl thanks to manager Geri who served me . For my quick service as I was in a rush food is good hot on time and served with a smile . Busy place so you expect a wait depending on what you order . Recommend every time .

Tried the new hotpot, now my Wagamama favourite. Veggie gyoza were excellent but they lost the 5 Star rating because they removed the carrot and raw Juice from the menu. All new juices seem sirope based and not entirely fresh. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT.

I think it might have just been a bit of a fluke day because I've commonly had a good experience there, but my recent time there wasn't the best, as I specifically asked to not have something in my dish and clearly they didn't listen and added it anyway. It was fine just was a bit miffed by it. Otherwise pretty good!

We had a lovely meal here for our anniversary celebration. I am on a low FODMAP diet for health reasons currently, and although the staff had not heard of this type of diet, they took the time and care to listen to which foods I could and could not eat, and then checked with the kitchen to make sure they could accommodate my needs. The meal they brought out was tasty and met the low FODMAP diet, which can be a tricky one! (I had the salmon koyo bowl without the beetroot or dressing, which contained garlic). We also had the mint tea (and my partner had the strawberry/black pepper rooibos - probably not low FODMAP) which were both really delicious!

A really poor experience. The server who sat me was polite, but then I was served by two other people during my short visit. The servers who brought my food didn't even look at me/talk to me - she dumped the food on the table in a way that was rude. A different server came to ask if the food was ok but walked away from me as I was answering - I hadn't yet discovered that about a quarter of the chicken was not cooked properly (texture was like biting into raw meat but it wasn't pink). No one was responsive to my attempts to get their attention to let them know. I gave up. The toilets are absolutely disgusting - sticky floors and splashed water marks all over the walls. The toilet seats and bowls were stained. If it hadn't been a necessity, I would have held on. If this is what the toilets look like, I wonder about the state of the kitchen. I did not like that you are now directed to pay online and that even though servers are interacting with you less, you still are encouraged to tip. It feels like once the food has arrived, you're forgotten. Another thing to note, when you pay online, you have the option to give a rating out of five for your trip - funny to note that when I've been before and rated 5 stars, I quickly get a feedback form via email but when I rated this trip 2 out of 5, no feedback form has appeared and it's currently four days after my visit! I love Wagamama's food. I love their restaurants - they're always a regular for me. But I would recommend going to other branches - give this one a miss and save yourself the trouble.

Poor service and very lacklustre staff that were disorganised and uninterested. Our ordered mains were delivered 15 minutes apart (I realise wagamama serve as individual dishes ready), 15 minutes ridiculous as my daughter had almost finished as my main arrived. I had to make a fuss even to get my dish then! Twice i said I was paying cash, both times I was offered the card machine. Listen to your customers, we pay your wages. Won't bother going back or recommending. Worst Wagamama I've been in by far

We came on a busy Saturday evening. Lots of staff around the the entrance where you wait to be seated but no one acknowledged us for a while…. Would be an improvement to have someone assigned to seating. Once we were in we didn’t have any issues, Skye was our waitress and she was really helpful, service was quick and I love the fact you don’t need to wait around for a bill you can pay on the QR code!

We love this Wagamamas! I work just down the road and it’s our go to for a meal after work - only discovered Wagamas 6 months ago (lol late to the party I know!) but at the time I was vegetarian and so the menu attracted us. This was our first Wagamama visit 6 months ago and it was amazing!!! Since then we have been to a few as enjoyed central Cambridge one so much. Eva, is amazing at her job, so welcoming, she remembers us every time and always provides the best service! The other members of the team are fantastic too, but Eva is the one that puts the experience out there. I can see why Wagamama are so busy - the food is fresh and delicious; the menu changes regularly; and we have never had a bad experience with the team. Lol I have to keep coming back to Eva, she is brilliant and Wagamas, St Andrews Street will always be our favourite one. 😋😋😋

Really disappointing. When we arrived we were told the kitchen was running half an hour behind. Long wait for food (including nearly hour an hour to be seated), dishes came out of the kitchen at different times and food was cooked different amounts including pork meat. The staff were overwhelmed and not particularly friendly or apologetic about the situation. Avoid.

Went to Wagamama for lunch and was greeted and seated by Indian short woman, she looked very miserable and the food took ages to come and didn’t even apologised for it the yaki soba was not the best didn’t even my food but was not even asked if everything was okay when we were leaving service was just really poor I had to buy myself something else to eat at some other place. Will ever go back? No I won’t. Worst service ever, maybe because I look Indian too which im not . Went there on Thursday 21/09/23 @ around 14.00 hr.

I ordered my food at the same time as my friend and our food came out 45 minutes apart. Our drinks also came out 10 mins after the food and after asking constantly where our second dish was the time just kept being pushed back. The food itself was tasty and to be fair to our waitress she took the second dish off our bill. Wouldn’t go back though.

Absolutely terrible food. We ordered a grilled duck teriyaki, a steak pad thai and a chicken ramen. The grilled duck was chopped into pieces that were too small. The noodles from the pad thai was too sweet which made it unenjoyable, and the steak from the pad thai was no better. It was hard to chew on and I disliked it. But the worst dish was the ramen. Firstly, the ramen's noodle was soggy. It was not tender at all and made the ramen taste awful. Second, the meat. The chicken from the ramen, just like the pad thai, was also hard to chew. Combining these two factors together and you get a disappointing ramen which tastes awful every bite. The staff were nice and attentive but the food was just unacceptable. Overall, me and my family won't be expecting to visit this restaurant again in the near future.

Unfortunately, our visit today was not very good. It took very long until we could place our drinks and food orders. The cutlery and glasses were dirty and not really helping us to enjoy the place, either. Service was not very friendly - everyone working at this Wagamama seemed to dread the fact they had to work there; really sad. Lastly, the air condition was turned up and the place was freezing, when it was already cold and rainy outside (12° C). Please be better in the future.

I came here with a friend, we both ordered our meals at the same time but mine arrived first. My friends ramen took a long time to come. The group next to us who arrived after us received their food before my friend. Out of all the wagagamamas, Cambridge's definitely is slower than average for food ordering. I feel for the staffs who have been serve in hot room, there were simply not enough people. For plates to be put on the table, we waited for almost an hour. There are so many altertives for a much better service.

Terrible service, the store manager didn’t apologise for over charging us by 50%. In the end, she acknowledged there were mistakes. We particularly don’t like her attitude of speaking like a authoritarian. Also, she promised to call us for the refund on the same day, we still hadn’t received that call yet in the next day. Avoid!

Tolles Asia Restaurant mit gemischtem Angebot an japanisch, thailändisch und koreanischen Speisen. Das Personal ist freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Der Gastraum ist groß und hat leider ein wenig das Ambiente einer Bahnhofshalle. Auch der Geräuschpegel ist sehr hoch. Das Essen und die Getränke sind sehr gut gemacht und die Größe der Portionen ist in Ordnung. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist gut.

This was my first ever visit to a Wagamama. Yes, I know I must have been living under a rock somewhere. 🪨 We were greated by a very friendly member of staff and seated straight away, which considering it was around 6 pm on a Saturday was pretty impressive. After we had got comfortable we were soon asked by a member of the waiting team for our drinks order. As I was driving I went for a High Five fruit juice. While we waited for our drinks we were able to look through the menu and decide what delicacies we were going to choose to eat. Again after not too long a wait a member of the waiting team came to take our food order. All 4 of us ordered both starters and mains. Our drink arrived and my High Five juice was a delicious and refreshing mix of pineapple, apple, orange, lime and lemon juice. If you like these flavours I highly recommend. While we then waited for our food we were able to take in the atmosphere which by its nature was rather loud, busy, fast passed and a little chaotic. The restaurant is essentially laid out like a large canteen. Our food then started to turn up, but the chaotic feeling seemed to continue with the serving of the food. One person's starter would arrive and then next came someone else's main. There was a 10 to 15 minute gap between the first person recieving their starter and the last person receiving their starter, but in-between all of the mains had been brought to the table. Fortunately we had all ordered starters that could also work as sides. Regardless of the chaotic delivery the food was all delicious. I ordered the Korean beef bbq buns and katsu chicken curry with white rice. For both of my dishes the presentation was beautiful, the flavours delicious and most importantly it was very filling. Once we had finished our meals it was time to pay. Now from having eaten out in a group a few times we were all expecting a headache, but the QR code payment method worked a treat and to make it even simpler had a s"Split Bill" option to make each of us paying that bit simpler. My only criticism of the split bill function is that you had to have added up all of the prices for your own items yourself, which was easy enough for myself but I can imagine in some cases could be quite difficult. If there was a way to be able to select which items from the bill you were wanting to pay for when you split it and it then added them for you it would make it much easier and a welcome addition. All in all a delicious meal at a reasonable price, but maybe not the place if you would like a conversation over dinner without having to shout.

Food sat on the counter for 10-15 mins before someone bothered to bring it to our table by which time it was cold. Asked for a hot replacement but after 20 mins still hadn’t arrived so gave up and left. Don’t think I will go back any time soon.

Had a lovely visit to this chain of restaurants, overall good experience even got my son to have a massive bowl of chicken ramen, great dish. I had the chicken teriyaki donburri very, but I think the sauce should be on the chicken not underneath...

Sushi mania is absolutely delicious! Their tempura is amazing! There sushi wonderful. Gorgeous seating with the view of Christs pieces. A bit expensive though. I have been coming there for 3 years and each time I go it’s even better than it was before. Their sweet potato tempura is to die for.

We came for the Thursday bottomless brunch but had to leave after 20 mins. Absolutely no food options on the belt apart from edamame beans and pancakes. We complained and said this is a shambles for £29.95pp and so we left but were made to pay for the rubbish plates we picked off the belt and were charged £20 for food that we didn't even want. DO NOT DO THE BOTTOMLESS SUSHI! There are far far better places in Cambridge for sushi and I think it is now time for this place to leave Cambridge for good.

ramen is much worse than instant noodles. I ordered Donkotsu ramen (which means pork bone soup ramen). I could not feel any pork scent from soup and the noodle was horrible. I'm pretty sure this restaurant does not run by Japanese chef.

Good lunch spot in Cambridge city centre, the food is freshly made to order and tastes really good. The udon is made daily and you can really taste the difference. Would recommend.
