ramen is much worse than instant noodles. I ordered Donkotsu ramen (which means pork bone soup ramen). I could not feel any pork scent from soup and the noodle was horrible. I'm pretty sure this restaurant does not run by Japanese chef.

Another great meal at U Sushi - great selection and variety of dishes in the all you can eat menu - delicious!

I decided to take my daughter and grandchildren to U-Sushi for lunch thinking that a bowl of ramen would be the perfect thing on a cold day. We were shown to a table and given menus. The table and the menus felt rather sticky and unclean. The waitress took our order but we felt that she did not understand very well because of her limited English. My grandson asked for chicken wings and chips. The proof arrived with the ramen. Both orders were completely wrong - not just swapped around but also incomplete. My grandson had to wait for about 40 min and when his food finally arrived, it was a most sorry display of undercooked miniscule pieces of chicken wings (or something else) and chips that looked and tasted absolutely ancient, at least re-used. The owner of the shop asked the waitress to draw the curtain so that we could not see, swap the soup for our orders and bring them back. My daughter ordered ramen with mixed veg and soy soup. What she got the second time was udon noodles in really watery solution of soy sauce and one slice of shrivelled cucumber most certainly left over from someone's salad. My order was missing most of the ingredients listed on the menu and was cold. When we tried to complain, the owner became really aggressive, started shouting at us and told us to leave. My grandson who is 10 years old was quite frightened and the baby in the pram started crying. I had a mind to call the police but did not want to spoil the day any further. I would really advise anyone to stay away from that place and tell everyone they care about to do the same. Absolute shame and disgrace.

Japanese/Cantonese fusion mix of noodles, katsu and sushi. The mock chicken was amazing. I had wonton soup, I feel they could have thrown some more herbs and veg on top as it was a little bland until I added chilli sauce. Staff were friendly. Quite generous portions, £50 for all 4 of us and kids loved the food. Would go again.

Confusing pricing; is it or is it not all you can eat? Bizarre decor. I'm being looked at by a stuffed penguin and Rudolph in the height of summer like I'm a natwest advert or something.

Have been three times now and really enjoyed it each time. Lovely, freshly prepared sushi. Have enjoyed both the all-you-can-eat menu and the bento boxes. Good value for money, tasty food and friendly service.

My dining companion C Salisbury and I frequent this charming little delight often. I can safely say with conviction and certainty this place produces some of the best sushi in Cambridge. Kitchen to table time is almost instant and ingredients are very fresh. Decor and little notes on the wall are a great touch. Highly recommend.

I find this place to have lovely sushi and their lunch deal cuts the price of sushi in half. However, waiting times for sushi is reasonably long. Despite that, I absolutley would receomend anyone who wants to try sushi or already enjoy sushi to come to U-sushi!

I've been here twice now. I'm still experimenting with the choice of food, ordering something different each time and sometimes surprised by what I get. I did like the vegetarian gyoza dumplings. You can leave a message on post-it notes on the wall and it is fun to read what people have written. The service was quite fast and the man was polite. The soft drinks are expensive. The soft toys are bizarre. The food is - as you would expect - small portions.

I stopped at this place with my 3 kids after shopping in the Grafton centre. My children love sushi and I thought to treat them. They are easy to please as they only like the cucumber and salmon ones. I ordered the Uramaki fried prawn sushi and salmon. The children told me that the maki salmon sushi was slimy and wet . My Uramaki salmon was slimy too. The seaweed sheet was very chewy and I had to spit it out. I bought 2 cans of sprite, the waiter used one and half cans to fill two glasses and put the rest back in the fridge. When I asked him to fill the glass with the rest of the drink I paid for, he pretended to have used it all. Only when I told him that half of can is still in the fridge , he got it for us. The woman making the sushi behind the counter was wearing few bracelets which were touching the food when she was picking different ingredients. The place itself is very weird and cramped with teddies on the benches, plates of different sizes and pattern ( more like missing sets from charity shops) . This was an awful experience and the food was terrible. Stay clear from this place.

An excellent little restaurant with great Sushi selection in much cheaper price! Never let me and my friends down. We will always choose this restaurant when it comes to Sushi.

Don’t like to do bad reviews but this place is a joke. Let’s take out money from the equation. Quality wise this is the worst Japanese restaurant I have ever been in my life. Obviously I have nothing against the Staff which are fine, nothing against the place although is sort of interesting? Bizarre sometimes (looks like an art gallery with portraits up to £5,000) but if you are looking for sushi I wouldn’t go there. Nothing is fresh. A bad choice.

Without a doubt the best sushi in town! £15.90 for all you can eat sushi which was great value for money. The manager was very helpful and gave us good sushi recommendations. He encouraged us to try different meals which we would not usually go for and I’m glad he did. The sushi was delicious and I really liked the crispy duck. I am very looking forward to visiting again!

The UK isn't famous for its good food but in fact, this store is on top. It's cheaper then middle class and a good destination if you're hungry. Greets Jonny

l live 5 minutes walk from U-Sushi restaurant, today l saw half price sushi lunch time offer, went in and order 6 different sushi, only cost £10 , they are delicious, will come every day, thank you U-sushi

Really cute place even they has limited seats. The foods was lovely and delicious. For me, this is a wonderful restaurant! If you are fan of Sushi and noodle, you just have to visit this place!

Regardless of all bad reviews on Google we decided to give it a try anyway. It's my first ever review and I'm not the type of a person who would give one star without a good reason. Food was not fresh and we found a hair in it. My sister called the gentleman and quietly said she "don't meant to be rude but there's a hair in her meal" he just made a "huh" noise and took the plate and brought bill. No sorry, no nothing just looked at us with an angry face. Avoid avoid avoid.

The all you can eat offer is a rip-off, they give you sushi with lots of Rice that full you up, after like 5 pieces you are full of rice. It costs 15 pound and i will not reccomend this restaurant to anybody. Very disappointed.

So after totally being ripped off at Yo sushi in Cambridge!! We come across this little gem on our next day out all I can say is WOW, this is some of the best sushi and hot food I have ever had in the UK, freshly made !! Ok it’s run by a family (so it looks like) and when busy it takes a little longer to get the food but worth the wait!! And to top it off the price is amazing compared to the other sushi places in Cambridge I would return again and again if I lived here that’s for sure!!

Quick service, reasonable price, the bento boxes were good and we enjoyed the gyōza, the sushi and the yakitori. Excellent choice.

Fuimos a por todo lo que pudiste comer, pero solo tuvimos la oportunidad de pedir 2 rondas antes de que se agotara el límite de tiempo, fue ridículo. La masa de los langostinos también era tan espesa que no podía encontrar el langostino en el centro, no lo recomendaría a las personas que aman el sushi en Cambridge. I went to U-sushi with my friend and ordered 4 portions of sushi a round. We ate like 4 rounds, a total of 32 dishes for us. We only paid £15.90 each! What an amazing price!

The quality is amazingly good comparing to other restaurants here in Cambridge, the price is average and still affordable. I would recommend getting the set meal since its the most valuable set, friendly staffs and a cosy place.

U - Sushi solía ser un buen restaurante confiable con buena comida y porciones decentes. Por alguna razón ha ido rápidamente cuesta abajo. El servicio está bien, pero las porciones son tan pequeñas que son ridículas. No estoy hablando del número de artículos en una porción, sino del tamaño de cada artículo. Los uramaki son prácticamente del mismo tamaño que los hosomaki. El remake es una broma: parecen la mitad de una hoja de la envoltura de algas habitual. Y todo a precios más altos. No volveré a menos que mejore.

I am a usual client of this restaurant. I love the sushi they do, that is why is such a pity the careless way they have when treating clients. Many times, when I have ordered from them, they tend to be late with the deliveries, and their phones are never available, which is very annoying when you are waiting and waiting and want an update. Also, the last order I placed it was not even delivered. After two hours waiting, with no phones answering I gave up and cancel it. I feel sorry because I do really enjoy their food, but being this not the first time I had an incident with them, I think it is fair to say. Definitely, next time I want sushi I will think twice ordering here.

Don’t judge the restaurant from outside, it doesn’t look great but inside is quite nice and the food is quite fresh and the freshness can be felt. In my opinion it tops other Japanese restaurants.

Si te apetece algo más aparte de menú, el menú principal tiene una amplia gama de sushi y el menú de fideos tiene algo para todo el mundo. El servicio es muy bueno, y el personal es muy servicial. So I ordered the following things: Smoked Salmon Nigiri Tuna Nigiri Egg Omelette Nigiri U Sushi Roll Uramaki Edamame and Harumaki (spring rolls) So to start with, I tried the sushi roll first. I did not like the taste of it. It tasted off. I thought maybe it was just the type of roll that I had so I continued eating the rest of my food. (Or tried to) The salmon and tuna nigiri did not look appetising at all. The meat had a gray/greenish tent to it. The quality was horrible. I didn't even take a bite of those to things. The only things that were edible/tasty that I ordered where the Omelette Nigiri, mini spring rolls, and the Edamame. Kind of disheartening seeing as how I wanted sushi. I had Japas Sushi the couple nights before. I was impressed, but wanted to try somewhere else to see if they were better. No. Japas Sushi was a lot better than U sushi, mainly when it comes to Sushi.

Went there with 4 friends. The place is small, so quiet as it cannot host too many people. My friend decided to get a Deal Menu, which comprises different dishes of Nigiri, Appetizers, Urumaki and more. I choose mine from the main menu, two Sashimi, one Urumaki and a Prawn Katzu. Quantity Vs quality. The Sashimi was tasty, but the rest was quite average. I spent £25 for the 4 items, while my friend spent roughly £11 each for the same number of dishes per person (drinks excluded). I believe the place is good for the deals you can get, however I would not recommend it for someone looking for quality food. If you are looking to get your stomach full for average food at low prices this is the place for you. However if you pick from the menu you might find the prices a bit too expensive for the quality of the food. The owner is quite friendly.

Delivery was late by 45mins, and unfortunately this has been the case from our last 3 orders. it’s a shame, as the sushi is normally really tasty. I’m guessing as the order was late they just missed out the sauces and chopsticks, still not good. What’s worse is that we found some bones in the Philadelphia rolls. Won’t be ordering again.

Late. Tori Karaage, whilst on further research appears to be what was offered, is in fact listed as containing '5 chicken nuggets', but came as 2 chicken nuggets on rice battleships. This listing should be clearer.

Al venir de una ciudad con una gran cantidad de buena comida japonesa de calidad y habiendo viajado a Japón varias veces, tenía dudas de probar U-sushi. Mis padres querían comida japonesa mientras visitaba, así que decidimos darles una oportunidad. Mis expectativas eran ya bastante baja ir a almorzar. El servicio era bastante inexistente y añaden un servicio opcional no 10% a tu cuenta. Los propietarios y el personal son chino mandarín y nos habla todo el tiempo que estuvimos allí. "ramen" no era, pero udon, ramen y el caldo no sabe como cualquier cosa que he tenido en un restaurante japonés de ramen (en el mal sentido). El bento sushi estaba bien, aunque el nigiri no estaba muy bien organizado. Mis padres no se intoxicó con la comida, que era lo que más le preocupaba era en realidad! Yo jugado seguro y tenía un don teriyaki. Estuvo bien, pero fácilmente podría replicar este plato en casa. En general, haber probado U-sushi, no volvería. Por el precio y la calidad de la comida, me gustaría conseguir una solución rápida sushi en Wasabi. Tienen que trabajar en su calidad de comida y servicio!

Called the restaurant upon late delivery and was told that the driver quit his job on the way here. What a bad day for both of us.

duck was mostly fat and came with dark coloured water. sushi and chicken goyoza were ok but the noodle dish was terrible.

Quality of sushi was not very high; very loosely packed and an old fishy smell. Spring rolls a bit soggy from being in packaging too long. Decided against eating any of it, and not inspired to request reorder.

not great. no pickled ginger and one tiny sachet of wasabi for £20 of sushi. the crispy salmon urumaki tasted like a fryer that needed the oil changing days ago.

Delivery was 45 mins late, restaurant were not very helpful. Food which was ment to be hot was not. No apology from any of the staff or discounts offered. Would not recommend and will not use U Sushi again :(

The portions were small. The sushi was good, just not great. Delivery service was good.

Two hours between order and delivery. Hot items arrived soggy and cold. Spent £70 on an order which was immensely disappointing. I phoned U sushi to ask about the whereabouts of my order and was told ‘we are busy, it’s on its way’ before even taking my name, order or address. If your local chippy did sushi, this is what it would be like.

The food was cold, over an hour delayed- we live 15 minutes away. The drink order was wrong, and no communication from the restaurant- called 5 times and no answer. Had to go straight in the bin!

I went for all-you-can-eat sushi with my friends, however, it turns out that this is no longer available. I was only sad momentarily as they now have a £10.99 set menu where you can choose 4 dishes or 3 and a drink depending on what you prefer! I really enjoyed the prawn katsu, duck roll and the gyoza! Good value for money and we were all really full! The service was really good too. I will be back!

Placed an order online a few hours before we wanted it with a specific delivery time selected. Phoned 20 mins after it was supposed to be delivered to be told they were busy and it was on its way 'with 3 other deliveries' . 50 mins after selected time it finally turned up. The sushi was in the same bag as the hot dish and so the sushi and salad was warm. The hot dish not that hot so needed a boost in the microwave.

Tuvimos una comida magnífica, con mi hijo, tanto que tenía una variedad de cosas fuera del menú. Hijo de té de jengibre, que tenía una patada. El servicio fue rápido y discreto, pero no grosero de ninguna manera. Si la gente está acostumbrada a ser empalagoso camareros, no te alojes aquí. Cero, pero eran aduladores ni atento y rápido.

It was late by 15mins the appetisers were cold and the information on my account said that it had been delivered at 2100 -so I rang and was told they were busy - would have rather had later delivery time and hot food!

Fui a U-Sushi hoy para conseguir llevar como en mi camino de vuelta a casa. Nunca me he encontrado con un camarero tan rudo en mi vida. No saludar o gracias. Me sentí como si estuviera robando a él, cuando en realidad dar algo de dinero para el negocio. Nunca volveré a ese lugar de nuevo, hay muchas otras opciones en la ciudad.

Llevé a mi hijo autista aquí para el almuerzo de hoy fue su 15 cumpleaños de julio, en un viaje anterior habíamos visto me ofrecen un regalo de cumpleaños con una prueba de identificación - fui armado con mis hijos certificado de nacimiento para encontrar el regalo habían dado el día anterior! Sin embargo, el camarero pronto llegó a nuestra mesa con un regalo para mi hijo, que era un encantador juego de tetera y (junto con T-bag! En una hermosa caja). A mitad de camino a través de nuestra comida regresó con un plato de buñuelos recién hechos en la casa. Lo que una cosa preciosa de hacer, la comida siempre era encantadora y muy caliente y casi no se espera - una ventaja cuando son autistas! Sin duda recomiendo este restaurante a todo el mundo.

Order took 1hr 20 to arrive. The tuna sashimi was discoloured and slimey on the underside and the udon noodle soup was tasteless.. the best tasting item was the packet of pickled ginger that it came with.

Bonito pero el arroz sashimi de salmón era muy amarga y atún era esponjosa y sin sabor. He tenido U-sushi muchas veces. A veces es bueno y a veces es malo y a veces se olvidan de que partes de la orden. La única vez que iría es cuando está cerrado en un Ohayo lunes por la noche. Ohayo es mucho mejor.

The sushi delivery was quite late, but our house is difficult to find... Anyway, the quality was amazing as usual!

Muy caro y no vale la pena este precio absolutamente: (esa fue mi primera experiencia, y la última. . . No hay comparación con sushi delicioso y sabroso ohayo. Por favor, cambiar algo.

Food at U-Sushi is great. The ingredients feel fresh and good quality and the portion sizes are good for the price. But the delivery time was just ridiculous. Just-Eat earliest suggested time was picked and the restaurant adjusted it to be 25 minutes later. Despite this adjustment, the food took 40 minutes longer to arrive, even though when the restaurant was called, 20 minutes before, it said the delivery was out - the trip doesn't take more than 10 minutes by car. Food is great, by all means order for U-Sushi, but collected rather than getting it delivered, or be prepared to wait a long time.

My take away took two hours and they forgot part of my order. The restaurant said they couldn't send the rest of my order and claimed they would refund me after much confusion- we'll see. I'd also like to say that Just Eat customer service was rude and unhelpful in this situation as well when I asked them to help me get my takeaway before the next day. All this is a shame because I quite often go into U-Sushi and enjoy the food.

Called restaurant twice, 1st time told he was on his way. 25 minutes later called again and was told he was around the corner, then they hung up. 20 minutes later food arrived, the delivery driver rang the doorbell despite our asking for a call as our baby was asleep. Food was stone cold, substandard and they woke our baby. Refund required! Just eat informed. Rude!

The food is fresh and good quality, good service. Lots of choice if kids don´t dig Asian food. Very small place, though.

The edamame beans were perfect, and so were the gyoza and the salmon nigiri. The taste of the hosomakis and tamago nigiri was fine, but the seaweed of the hosomakis was broken and the tamago itself had a funny consistency.

I'm a regular customer but this time I was a bit disappointed. The food wasn't on time, I'd asked for no wasabi and there was wasabi. I'd asked for teriyaki sauce as well as soy and there was just one tub of soy sauce and nothing else. Also for some reason the meal was delivered in a cardboard box instead of an easily disposable plastic bag. Also the proportion of fish to rice in the temaki was a bit disappointing.
