Ware to eat in East Hertfordshire

Our weekend treat! The wife and I come here at least once every weekend. Constantly good food and the friendliest staff. Even when they are busy they have time for a smile for the customer. They do the best cup of tea for sure. Our preference is a nice strong builders tea, they get it spot on every time. We always look forward to our next visit.

This is our place to go on a weekend morning for breakfast. Sets us up for the day.. always a friendly welcome and a good choice of food once you are settled. Ware to eat is also a great place for lunch.. try the specials, they are exactly that! All the staff a lovely and very good at what they do. Definitely in my opinion the best cafe in Ware.

The only Cafe we will eat at in Ware… staff are so friendly where the quantity and quality are of equal importance. Nothing on the menu over £10… what’s not to love… you must try here……. But leave me and the missus a table 🙂

I have never been to this cafe before despite living in the town for 40 years. Treated myself to a Sunday Breakfast, it was great freshly cook, pleasant friendly staff. Will come again for sure.

I discovered this little café one Friday. The Sri Lankan curry was on the specials list, so I opted for that. With the accompaniments, I had a proper meal for snack prices and have to say the flavour of the curry was tremendous. Today, I found myself in the area again, so popped in for the Breakfast Special. Everything was top quality and cooked to perfection and accompanied by two slices of ‘proper’ fresh bread. Again, very happy with the price! I’m looking forward to the next time I’m in Ware.

For good food, well cooked and quick service in a nice atmosphere with pleasant staff you can't find anywhere better in Ware - especially the ham egg & chips with their own ham.

I enjoy coming here every once in a while for a hot English breakfast it is great value for money and you get a hot mug of tea with it

We don't go frequent, but when we do we are never disappointed. Menu has chanced a little. Prices up, which is understandable. The prices of a breakfast now includes a hot drink, which I think is very good. They now also have changed to table service. As always very clean and efficient. Dropped one star on this occasion as my eggs were over cooked.

Good value, friendly, quick service, clean and good food. Really generous portions, really enjoyed the breakfast. Perhaps serve the chips in a separate bowl , but it was my choice to swap the sauté potatoes for chips.

Great value home cooked grub. Love the thick slices of home cooked ham in the ham egg and chips. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but it’s a great little cafe

For me this is the best breakfast for miles and miles. Very generous portions. Always enjoy sauté potatoes on my plate. Can get busy with work men around theier meal times. Lots of homemade specials.

Sunday morning, table was dirty, service was slow, sausages were cheap, nasty and deep fried! Not good. . . However, I do take some responsibility as it was my choice to go into a crappy, ‘greasy spoon’ and I got what I should’ve expected I guess. I’ll just have a cup of tea next time.

have had several breakfasts here, quick service, tasty freshly cooked. tea not so good but coffee ok. cheap and cheerful. Lots local builders and workers during week, families at weekends.

Breakfast with my son every Saturday always amazing, Sandra and Debbie always so polite. All the staff are very friendly I have never had a bad breakfast.

Food is cooked well and reasonably priced. The staff are chatty and polite and service is excellent. A proper cafe.

I tend to go here for a very very good English Breakfast. I have had dinner/lunch meals here too and rate them all highly.

Have used this cafe several times and the food is always very good. The staff are also friendly and the atmosphere in the cafe is good. You know your in a good cafe when it's busy and this is one . Keep up the good work

I LOVE this place. Amazing staff, fantastic food and great prices. Service with a smile everytime. Fab full english and the biggest jacket spuds ive ever seen! Well worth a visit!

We visited on Sunday morning and had the classic fry up. I have to say is very good value at £4.95. Food was hot and cooked to perfection, toast actually resembled toast and not soggy bread like others! Staff were friendly and attentive, just what you want. Cafe was busy and we can see why. Perfect for a quick fix breakfast!

Didn't want to cook this afternoon and we didn't want to drive far... Decided to eat here and we were impressed by the no nonsense, what I'd call home comfort foods. Every thing on the plate was cooked properly and served hot. Suffice to say this is going to be our new breakfast eatery and perhaps the odd meal after work! Give this place a try.

I eat lunch here a lot. The food is always tasty, the staff always friendly. The prices are good as well.

Ware is a lovely little town. Lots of places to eat and a good variety. Not can walk off lunch by following path along the canal afterwards. People very friendly too.

Popped in for a sandwich and coffee. Fresh bread, generous fillings and nice Italian coffee. Looked like quite a few of the customers were regulars, always a sign of a good café. Hope to return soon to sample a full breakfast ! Well done the owners.

This is a straight forward no frills good value cafe, you won't be hungry after.Basic home cooking , but good chef who cares about his work. Forced to expand into next door to increase seating to meet demand. Local builders use this for their breakfasts. Good reputation I've been here quite a few times,

I came here a while back and had a great full English breakfast! Just what I needed after a late night. The actual place is a tad grotty if I'm being honest- it isn't a high end establishment as such! But the food is great and good value and the staff are friendly.

All the TV Chefs on the planet don't have a clue about fine food until they've eaten here.Bacon , sausage,liver, pork chop,egg and chips. 2 rounds of bread and butter and a mug of tea £7.20 . Cooked perfectly NOT greasy . Food Heaven - forget all other eateries this place is a must.

I used to come here for breakfast when I lived in Hertford, and I would say it's still the best place for breakfast in Ware. Friendly, helpful staff, large portions, excellent value for money and huge mugs of tea! What more could you want.

It may be full of work men and be considered a 'greasy spoon' type cafe. But the breakfasts are the best. They do home made dishes, pies etc through out the day. It's not fancy and its more tea toast and work men than cappuccino and muffin, but for a good old fry up or honest home made meals, give it a go.
