Overcharged, no prawn crackers, food not of a good quality. Stick to the local Chinese.

Been using Wang's for a few years now. - Always good, clean fresh food and friendly service. I tentatively suggested to the family that this year, instead of the usual merry-go-round of Turkey, Roast Potatoes, Parsnips and in-house arguments about who's doing what, we simply order from Wang's. - I expected a mutiny but it was a unanimous vote. I delivered a hand-written list on the Friday (it was more or less a shortened version of the menu!) and collected it all on the Saturday evening. Stored everything in the fridge and simply heated it all through on Christmas Day. No getting up at Stupid O'clock on Christmas morning. (Life is too short to stuff a mushroom.) A very relaxed and fun day. No stressing over how things are going to turn out because I already knew. (I did a small quality-control test the night before!) No massive piles of washing up of pots and pans and trays. - Oh,......and the food was absolutely delicious too! As usual,.........WAY too much food but this also takes care of Boxing Day and quite possibly the day after too. Honourable mentions have to go to, as always, the Salt & Pepper Chilli Squid, the Crispy Chilli Beef and the BBQ Ribs. This has definitely set a precedent. - Our eternal thanks to the lovely Mr & Mrs Wang. They are a community treasure. If you haven't been there before, why not?? Go there. Go now! The fish and chips is a great value (get it with chilli!) and the owners are very kind.

Good local takeaway. No, this is not the best Chinese takeaway in the area. No, this is not a great Chinese takeaway that also serves fish n chips in the area. There are better. Yes, I'd agree that the chips could be a lot better, but y'know what, sometimes supporting a local business that tries hard is really important for a community. Ok, so loyalty can only go so far. Why visit? Besides the super friendly staff, the smoky Singapore chow mein is off the scale. It's brilliant. As for the crispy fried beef? It's superbly different, with an amazing take on a classic, fusing East meets West and a great use of Worcestershire sauce for a new twist on a classic dish. I'm happy to keep coming back, that's for sure. I'd take photos of the dishes, but they don't last long enough to share!

I would give 0 stars however you can't give just 1. Chips were vile. Egg fired Rice tasted like fish and was all dry.. None of it was fit to eat and all went in the bin. Would not reccomend this place to anyone . Nasty food....

Siempre por una señora muy agradable. El Chino es buena, pero normalmente por el bacalao y patatas fritas especial. . . No puedes equivocarte con una porción de tamaño satisfyingly de pescado y patatas por menos de 3 libras!

Went there in December - they certainly do a mean crispy duck with pancakes, and their sweet and sour chicken balls are no slouch either!

My wife loves salt and pepper squid from this place and my son loves coming with me to get it. Sounds good to me!

I have had a takeaway from here previously and was so impressed by the flavour, price and value that I returned this evening. my companion had chips and I asked for the vegetable curry and boiled rice, went for the all in one option and it smelt lovely and after a drive home we sat down with a DVD to enjoy out food. I am a vegetarian so choice and quality are very important,,,therefore was utterly dismayed to discover big lumps of meat...not sure what type and I guess I was lucky it was on the top and obvious...too far and too late to take it back so binned it, rice included as was all in same tub.. That's £5.30 wasted and nothing to eat. its not like it was the wrong meat or different rice...I am a vegetarian, this is unacceptable,,, the place was empty, it was a two item order...they need to be more careful... , absolutely furious !!

Handy little Chinese Takeaway on the Wells Road. Always friendly, fast, and tasty food! And they do the usual 'chip shop' fare too.
