The best pub quiz in Bristol. For anyone who enjoys more than a regular "what tennis player took 1st place in 1964", you have to come here! Clever, logical, with creative rounds, it has it all❤️

Having seen the good reviews and always wanting to try new local offerings we were looking forward to this, despite baulking at the high costs.. We ordered 2x Pizzas and a portion of chips through deliveroo. They arrived very quickly and initially looked good, (despite everything needing reheating), the chips were limp with next to no seasoning but the pizzas 😞 the dough seemed to have been under proved and had not been salted and wasn't fully cooked around the edges, the toppings were tasty but there was unfortunately a lot of wastage, really not impressed for the money we spent. Deliveroo washed their hands of it very quickly and suggested we speak to the owners, who's response we are waiting for.

Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, nice outdoor space out back. I had one of the best vegan burgers I’ve ever eaten. Juicy, filthy, delicious vegan burger. If there’d been an onion ring in it then it would’ve been 10/10 but it was phenomenal either way.

We visited just to check out a possible alternative regular haunt. We knew the food prices were slightly higher than can be found elsewhere, but we were surprised by the small size of the burgers and dryness of the fries. We were unlucky to go when there was a pub quiz on, and the pub was full of intellectuals and trendies. We left feeling hungry and joined the old grumpies, at the nearby cheap chain pub, for something more to eat. We had the experience and that was enough forever.

This place is a breath of fresh air in comparison to its previous incarnation. Great atmosphere, good beers and food, and are welcoming to children. The previous owners could take a good look at this as an example of how to run a local pub. (The response below is from a scathing review for the previous owners, who fully deserved it!)

It's a really friendly place, especially the barman/manager. I loved the burger bowl (my photo doesn't capture it all). It's such a lovely option and at no extra cost, which considering that it contains a decent amount of avocado, is pretty rare. The All Inn Is a fantastic addition to Fishponds. Their pizza's are truly delicious, It's very hard to pass on their £5 lunch deal. Thin, chewy base, rich tomato sauce, and the perfect amount of mozzarella. I really can't fault the pizzas at all. The staff are always friendly and I really like the decor and lighting. There is a nice outdoor area, but it would be great if there was a kids corner or something. I love playing table tennis there while waiting for my pizzas, but I wish they would straighten the table! I will say the fried chicken burger was disappointing, a bit dry and chewy. But they still get 5 stars for everything else.

Visited on August bank holiday Sunday 2-30 pm. Was surprised it was so quiet. Staff all lovely. We had Dodo burger and Big D. Absolutely delicious but for £11-50 and £13-25 respectively they should've come with a side included, maybe salad or chips. We ordered Rosemary chips and Truffle Parmesan chips. Unfortunately both chips were not crispy enough on the outside and nowhere near the best triple cooked chips we've eaten. Also the rosemary chips had very little Rosemary flavour. The sauce on the K-pop wings was good but the wings weren't crispy enough and the meat didn't fall off the bone nicely. Will definitely have burgers again but not chips. Don't really care about the pubs name, but how simple it would've been to just call it ' The All Inn Crosshands ' .

The All Inn is an interesting place. I'd firstly like to point out how lovely and friendly the staff are. If you haven't gathered from my previous reviews, I love talking to people in pubs and the staff were very chatty. There was a good selection of drinks here too and loads of outdoor space. My only complaint is the design. The place attempts a trendy independent craft beer styling however it misses the mark and ultimately makes the building feel a little soulless. Overall however, I've been here twice and come away with satisfaction both times. I particularly had fun sampling the entire range of home made shots!

The simple menu at first appears complicated but that's only because there is a very limited range of food with lots of different rather silly names. As I'm not mad keen on pizza (and from the look of my friend's I was quite right) or burger, I chose the chicken wings at £7.45 and (cheapest) chips at £3.00. I have never been given such a meagre portion of chicken wings and they were only the end two bits of the wing - not one piece of the meatier 'upper wing' section. They did look pretty though, with a glazing sauce and sprinkled with chopped spring onion but they were old and reheated and very unappetising. There is a pub not 500m from there that serves a larger, freshly cooked portion of excellent chicken wings at about half that price. (Their pizza is also a great deal better.) The All Inn is going to have to improve if it's ever going to pay for all the alterations.

Most locals will remember it as The Cross Hands. New owners have changed the feel of the place somewhat, more toward the funky urban kind of feels. It's actually quite refreshing, although the interior could do with a few more arty pieces and general knick knackery to pique the punters interest. Not a bad selection of beers and ciders. Food is great, the pizza was possibly the best I have ever had in a pub setting. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Well, this used to be so nice - but oh deary me, what were the new owners thinking? Let's start with food. So, there was a great menu here previously, including a brilliant Sunday roast which regularly sold 250+ per week - but now it's basically just pizza, burgers and wings! Bearing in mind that there are 3 pizza establishments within a few hundred metres and numerous burger bars nearby - this would seem to be a bit of an oversight to say the least! We weren't up for pizza anyway, but tried their rosemary chips, cluck bites and cheesy garlic bread. Ok then. So the chips are - well, chips. No real sense of the 'double fried for extra crunch' description - nor any particular rosemary flavour either. Oh and they don't have vinegar!!! On to the garlic bread - oh dear! Sorry, but when you have a very bland base, mozzarella is not the cheese to use! There was virtually no flavour to this, unless you had a slice with an actual piece of garlic on it. The chicken pieces were fine though! The bar itself is sadly lacking in drink variety...just one dark rum (unless you like spiced, in which case there is one more) and there's a light golden rum too. There used to be about 5 to choose from and the same applies to Gin and Whiskey. Beer selection seems ok, but I don't drink much beer these days, so I feel a bit pushed out! Overall, the staff are great, but I fear this pub may just suffer the fate of the Dodo Pub chain's namesake, unless they wake up and start doing something sensible instead of trying to be pretentious - because that won't work out well!! And one other thing - they're cashless, so better just hope there's never a glitch in the payment system!

Actually really disappointed with my first and sadly last visit here last week I came with my 2 reluctant neurodivergent children who I encouraged greatly to 'try it out'. However after asking if the kitchen would be able to do some cheesy chips for my fussy eating daughter (I assumed wrong that this would be possible, after all they did have cheesy garlic bread and pizza on the menu) the person at the bar said it wasn't possible, unless I paid an extra £3! I decided this was too ridiculous to purchase so I ordered rosemary fries (which turned out to be just fries) a children's margarita, truffle and mushroom pizza, a cheesy garlic bread, 2 Appetizer and a half cider shandy. This cost me £40. Wow Our food came and while the mushroom pizza and garlic bread were ok, my daughters margarita was uncooked. Raw dough and inedible. I could see the dough was uncooked just by looking it. I did not want to try it . We did not get a stardard 'how is your food' interaction from the waitress and after about 20 mins, my children were keen to leave, from overwhelm and disappointing food. When the waitress finally arrived to ask if we wanted boxes for our pizzas, i plucked up the courage to mention the uncooked pizza. She agreed with me that is looked raw, informed the chef, then asked to show the chef. After 5 mins she returned with the pizza telling me the chef said nothing was wrong with it, proceeded to try to educate me on the type of pizza it was and asked if wanted another. At this point my children were mid meltdown and having another pizza made was not an option. Instead I walked out trying to calm my children, feeling regretful that I hadnt requested a refund and extremely angry and disappointed that it wasn't offered one, and that our experience here was not something we were willing to try again. If the management read this, I do hope some of our money goes into training your staff something along the lines of 'the customer is always right' kind of approach. Feel free to offer us a refund too

I’m a long standing patron of the Cross Hands and I think the refurbishment has been a real success. The food I had (Bee Sting pizza) was great and others have said the burgers are good too. My only concern, and the reason why it’s not a five star review, is that the Dodo beers brewed by Arkells Ales are poor in comparison to local Bristol breweries and I think that is a major thing when considering where to go for a pint locally. I also think that they are somewhat overpriced when compared to other local establishments selling better beers for less. I will definitely be in to eat but I doubt I’ll be enjoying a session of ale in there. Good luck.

Nice make-over, decent beer selection, good food, just a shame the prices have gone up so much. £6.30 for a pint of Star is a bit eye watering.

The All Inn has been taken over by Dodo pubs and I went to have a look this week and can’t believe the transformation. If you haven’t seen it yet you have to check it out! The interior is really cool! I also had a pizza and chicken wings, and the pizza dough was the best I have ever had! So excited they have opened in Bristol finally!!

Home to so many wonderful gigs. Countless nights spent shooting images of amazing musicians. However one day the crowd was trying to knock me and my camera off my chair and that was not appreciated

These guys are great. Collection, - great atmosphere. Delivery, - fast and food is hot. Now the main thing, the food is delicious and they give big portions. It's a very clean place and the salad is always fresh. Our whole family love this place.

Pizzas were really nice, service was a bit slow, but they did seem very busy.
