Walkers Snack Shack in Scarborough

Fantastic coffee and great food! We will be back again for another one of them toasties soon!! This will be our new regular visit on our trips to filey 😊

You learn quickly if you stay in filey that if you actually find a restaurant, shack, pub or bar open and you are hungry or thirsty then grab it while you can as there's every chance it will just close without warning. Having tried to get something to eat and failed we found walkers snack shack open much to our relief and a portion of dirty fries sounded perfect. We queued. Then I noticed the small child stood behind the counter. He looked out at the queue and then rammed a finger up his nose and started excavations. He duly gathered good portion of snot stuck his finger in his mouth and then sat thoughtfully chewing. As this was not the dirty type of fry I had in mind I relinquished my place in the queue and stayed hungry.

Excellent pit stop after walking our dogs, the sun was keeping the very clean outside tables very cosy, we were over looking the sea! Excellent coffee made by their barista and the food was great! We loved the BBQ cheese melt with dirty fries! Can’t wait to make this a regular walk with our 2 dogs, the owners are super friendly and have water available for your pets!

Friendly service with great coffee and delicious food. Fabulous beach side location with outdoor seating. Will definitely be visiting again!
