Walkers On Wesley Street in Sefton

This is a lovely place with great food! We were made to feel so welcome the minute we walked in the door. One of us was a coeliac and required a gluten free diet. They took the time to go through the menu with us and how it was prepared so we could find something suitable. The homemade gluten free scone was a great surprise! We had a great lunch and will definitely return!

The best goats cheese salad ever, this is what you call a proper salad! Packed full of flavor, it was incredibly tasty and full of walnuts which i absolutely loved. These guys know what they are doing when it comes to homemade, fresh food. We also tried one of their homemade scones which we took away as we were so full from the huge wheel of goats cheese, they do not skimp on portion sizes here! Huge scone - lovely cream and jam to go with it. It was a real treat, really enjoyed it. Really appreciated them squeezing us in as we left it late for food. Family run business which really benefits the customer as they actually care about the food and your experience so you're onto a winner here! Already planning our next visit. Thank you again.

Found this eating place on trip advisor so first visit. What can I say greeted with a Lovely smile. Great selection on menu and very reasonable prices. My hubby had the homemade soup which was very tasty I went for hand carved ham sandwiches which came with salad. Very nice!! I LUV the little touches of tablecloths and so homely. This beautiful little cafe is just fabulous. The staff were very attentive & remembers regular customers. The sweet chilli chicken panini was delicious. The portion sizes are huge & the pot of tea served in beautiful China cups & saucers made the tea super tasty.

Absolute gem of a place, the food is all freshly made, the staff are fabulous and friendly and the ambiance makes a lone diner feel comfortable and welcomed. Today I called in for a quick bite before an appointment. The staff were wonderful sorting my order quickly because I had little time. I thought I’d get a simple ham sandwich on brown malted bread but I got much more. The ham was thick cut quality ham really tasty with a lovely salad and home made coleslaw and crisps. Absolutely beautiful and just what I needed. The place is always busy with a huge percentage of regulars which speaks volumes for the place. The homemade cakes are very popular because they are stunning. Please try this family run businesses you will not be disappointed and I guarantee you will become yet another regular patron

Would highly recommend, a little bit off the beaten track, yet very close to fairly heavy footfall. Dedicated family team provide warm welcome, backed up by hot coffee (not something to be taken for granted in my experience!) and delicious cakes (extensive menu for other times of the day also). Memorabilia on the wall tells the success story of the last five years since opening.

We had a really lovely lunch here today. My goats cheese salad was exceptional, and my wife thoroughly enjoyed her cheese, bacon, and tomato panini. Service was brilliant as always. We've eaten at Walkers a few times now and have never been disappointed, whether it's a meal or simply a piece of cake. Highly recommended!

What a find! A hidden gem and I'm reluctant to tell everyone how good this place is to eat, I want it all to myself! My Mum and I went for Afternoon Tea last Wednesday and honestly it was amazing. Helen and her staff are fabulous, can't do enough for you, very accommodating and will to all to help make your visit a great one. Food is to die for, cakes are gorgeous, soups delicious, chicken ceaser salad unbelievably tasty and the pink hot chocolate is a must too. They make all food fresh and to order and quite simply, it's the best!! Go visit.

I’ve been meaning to call in for ages but it’s always packed so must be popular. Had a coffee and delicious salted caramel cake. Will definitely be back again. They do afternoon teas (with a child version) and a kids sandwich deal too.

Walker’s on Wesley street, is an amazing find. The food was so good. We were staying in Southport for a few days. We visited daily for breakfast, lunch or cake and coffee. The prices are reasonable, for such well cooked food. Nothing was any trouble if you wanted to adjust the menu to our needs. They have their own blend of coffee, which is the nicest I have tasted in a long time. The cakes are all home made and a varied choice. Staff are so friendly and welcoming, the chef is an outstanding cook. Will definitely be back.
