Been here a good few times and always really nice never had anything I’ve not liked. Great service always welcomed with a smile! Reasonably priced! Always a go to whenever I’m in town.

Fantastic food, fantastic coffee and fantastic service. They happily accommodated a request from my son them at wasnt on the menu. I have recommended it to all my friends as the place to go

Normally no complaints on this occasion one staff member young guy not v friendly my partner asked simple question and he snapped twice moral of tale don't get too complacent plenty of competition today

My friend and I had afternoon tea here and it was fabulous. So much food we ended by taking some home with us. I would definitely recommend this place for food and drinks.

Fabulous little cafe. Very welcoming staff. Despite our late arrival and the fact that the kitchen was actually closed, we were invited to take a seat. Enjoyed a tasty panini and a coffee. Thanks to the team for their help for two hungry tourists.

Wow. We only came in for a coffee and ended up having lunch. (Jacket spud) No long wait, hot food and good sized portion. The service was welcoming and friendly. It's a lovely little place hidden away in a little historic street in the town centre. We'll be back.

Called in yesterday morning for a late breakfast. Had cheese on toast and a pot of tea, Yorkshire of course. Good food, excellent tea, served with a smile. Nice clean toilet too. Don’t pass by , call in!

Tried this little cafe a few weeks and enjoyed a lovely panini and tea so today returned and had a breakfast which I have to say was one of the best café breakfasts I've ever had. The atmosphere and service were excellent so I would definitely recommend trying Walkers if you're ever in the area.

On a visit to Scarborough yesterday my wife, myself and our dog were looking for a dog friendly cafe. looking down Bar street we noticed a Lady with a Dachsund come out of Walkers so we went in. friendly and welcoming staff, cosy and clean. Had two large Cappuccinos, my wife had a Bakewell Slice and I had a Toasted Currant Teacake. Coffee was hot and delicious, my wife said it was the best Bakewell slice she has ever tasted and my teacake had a hint of cinnamon and was delicious. Very reasonably priced and our dog got a free treat. i highly recommend this little gem.

If you are looking for a home cooked lunch in a relaxed, spacious atmosphere in Scarborough then I highly recommend Walkers of Bar Street. Just found them today and had the perfect lunch. My father was able to have simple freshly cooked scrambled eggs on toast, and I had a mozzarella and chorizo panini, with home made coleslaw, a lovely salad with dressing, and some crisps, all beautifully presented. Prices are very reasonable. My only concerns leaving this review is that we will not be able to get a table next time!

We wandered down Bar Street and came across this gem of a place. There is plenty of space to sit over two floors with clean and comfortable seating. We both had a breakfast which was of excellent quality, hot, plentiful and very good value; an added bonus is that you don't have to wait long. We didn't have any but thye cakes looked lovely. The staff are friendly and helpful too. It's a dog friendly place which also makes it special. This place serves good, hot food and there is a nice vibrant vibe, I will be a repeat customer.

Came here for mid morning snack, hot choc lovely and hot! Coffee perfect and 2 teacakes with4 butters no scrimping here , but what makes this place special are the staff, welcoming and friendly they really do care !

Absolutely wonderful cafe - we came every day of our 4day trip for lunch. Everything we ordered was top notch - sandwiches/panini/toasties, bacon rolls, all freshly cooked and the cake selections are to die for…all freshly baked and different choices added each day…we literally rolled...

There is seating outside, the inside was very clean, tables quickly wiped between customers. The toilet was also very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful to all customers.

Had a lovely time sitting outside at this cafe watching the world go by with our puppy. The food was nice and not expensive. We even treated ourselves to a milkshake and a lemon meringue!The staff were really lovely and let us know the cafe is also dog friendly if we wanted to come inside. Visited today for lunch. Paninis gorgeous, proper good quality, tasty bread not the rock hard torpedoes I’ve had in other places. Coffee hot, staff friendly, cakes tasty, toilet clean, reasonable prices. What more could you want? Definitely be back!

We found this cafe yesterday on our final day in Scarborough. I just wish we had found it earlier on in our stay! We had our dog and 9 month old daughter and the staff could not have been more accommodating. We were offered a high chair, a plate and a small fork for our daughter to use so she could have some of our breakfast too. We both had a large breakfast each and the food was lovely. We will definitely be returning when we are next in Scarborough.

Popped in on a busy but wet Saturday afternoon and were glad to get a table. Staff very friendly coved stuff well organised, art not to my taste (I’m a cat person) but cake and tea were delicious.

At 2.45pm this afternoon we were just about to sit at an outside table for coffee & cakes when a staff member started stacking the outside chairs.She confirmed that they close at 3pm but last orders are 2.45pm.How ridiculous to close a coffee shop mid afternoon on a busy day in a tourist resort like Scarborough.They do not deserve to be profitable.

Got to say, one of the nicest breakfasts I have ever had. Real nice staff and didn't stink of greasy food inside. Food was lovely, not greasy at all.

We visited on 3 occasions recently. Safety aspects were thorough and well marked. Staff were pleasant and efficient. A good cup off coffee and orange cake was delicious.

Called in by chance on Saturday dinner for a coffee and what a find ,very nice coffee and very friendly staff even in these strange times, will be goin again next time we are in Scarborough.

Walkers is a really lovely coffee shop with a great range of drinks and cakes. They also have great food, but I find it’s a really comfortable places to enjoy lovely coffee. The staff are really friendly and helpful too.

Have been in this lovely coffee shop a few times and always have had a great experience my latest visit was the best , due to changes in my dietary requirements I was finding it quite difficult to find anything anywhere healthy to snack on . The staff were friendly and very accommodating and provided me with something that wasn’t on the menu .... Great service

Went for a quick snack whilst on business in town and was pleasantly surprised with what I ordered. Caesar salad which was a very large and tasty meal, it was delicious and well worthy of praise, the accompanying cup of coffee was equally delicious we will be back. Also the staff are very friendly and jolly and efficient. Well done.

We love walkers of bar street. Every time we come back to Scarborough this is our first stop. The selection of food is fantastic and the cakes taste divine. The staff always have smiles on their faces and always happy to help! A must visit when in Scarborough.

Having lived in Scarborough for many years, we had never been to Walkers in Bar Street. We had friends staying with us so we were walking around Scarborough showing them the various shops when we decided to pop into Walkers for a coffee. It was brilliant. The coffee was absolutely beautiful, just as we like it & one of us had a Cappuccino & she said it was the best she had ever had. The cakes & scones looking gorgeous, so next time we are in town, we will be sampling some of those when we have more time. The atmosphere was very friendly & the staff excellent. Well done Walkers, we will be back !

A friend recommended I try this place and I was not disappointed. I had a beautiful panini with lots if filling, a nice dressed side salad, crisps and homemade coleslaw. The staff were lovely and the cafe was clean and modern. Definitely worth a visit.

In Scarborough for a few days and visited twice. Nice clean premises and friendly staff who engage with customers and not merely serve them. We enjoyed all our food and drinks here.

Walking down a very narrow side street, when We saw this cafe. Same name as me so I thought we would go in. Two floors with small amount of outdoor. Tables chairs and comfy sofas. Staff were superb, the food was so tasty. I won’t say it was cheap but it was good value for money. Two days of scones and salads were really a nice change to the normal (no complaints) seaside fare of fish and chips. Would aim for this cafe again ASAP.

Just popped in for a quick coffee, never been before so didn’t know what to expect, very impressed, had a flat white not the usual small cup, (never understood why flat whites are so very much smaller than a cappuccino) but not here a good size and extremely tasty and hot, not lukewarm.

Good spot for lunch with a friend, good food which is presented nicely and very fresh. Get a seat outside in the sun and it’s a great place to sit. Have been several times and it’s always friendly service and tasty food.

Desperately wanted a really good coffee and cake, the cafes along Scarborough front didn’t seem that good. So we took the tram to the top and found Bar Street by accident. Walkers looked really smart, clean fresh colours/decor and good seating. We had a fabulous hot coffee and a chocolate orange cake which was delicious, well worth seeking out if you are in the area.

We fell across this lovely cafe en route to the central tram stop. The staff were lovely and friendly. We didn't eat lunch but opted for hot drinks and a cake. The coffee and chocolate Tiffin were delish!! The other cakes looks fabulous. Even catered for vegan and gluten free cake lovers! Will definitely call in again of we are passing.

We called in for a light bite and tried the sandwich of the week which was mature cheddar, spring and red onion in mayo, served with coleslaw, crisps and side salad.

We went here on a day trip to Scarborough. Plenty of room to sit, as theres another room at the back and upstairs. A good selection on the menu. I chose a prawn salad sandwich, which was their "sandwich of the week".It came with salad and a delicious homemade coleslaw. The staff were very friendly and it was warm welcoming cafe. We would definitely visit here again when we are next in Scarborough.

We found this cafe on a recent visit to Scarborough, a cosy dog friendly cafe on a cold April day, fantastic! The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the food was very good, great home made soup. It's sometimes difficult to find a nice place to eat in a town when you have a dog with you, so pleased we found Walkers, we will be back on our next visit to Scarborough.

Popped in for a drink and a cake and found a gem. Lovely coffee and my friends are very choosy about what us good. The choc orange cake was delicious. Very friendly staff and lovely atmosphere.

Popped in for lunch and was very impressed with the quality of food and the great approach to customer service. Having ordered ham and mustard sandwiches we were told that there was no mustard but we could choose an alternative and we were given two free cakes. We found the cafe to be pleasant, warm and welcoming. We will return.

We found this cafe by accident when walking through the town. The food was fresh and high quality and the staff friendly. The owner told us the coriander in the soup was picked from his garden that morning and it tasted that fresh. Lots of home made produce at decent prices so will certainly go again when in the town. They advertised vegan options if that is needed.

I visited today as recommended by a friend. Lovely & cosy shop, amazing & friendly staff, 10/10 for flavour & service!! Cannot fault my visit & would highly recommend coming here when in Scarborough!! The cheese scones are a must, as is the Nutella hot chocolate!!
