Originally just went in for a cuppa but the enormous cake selection was just too good to resist! Indeed there was a huge selection of all sorts of food. Friendly and helpful staff, busy and happy ambience.

Chanced upon this lovely cafe whilst walking through North Chingford. It looked fairly busy so thought we'd give it a go and so glad we did. I had eggs benedict which was very tasty and a generous portion whilst my vegan friend had a vegan sausage panini. This wasn't on the menu and the staff kindly made especially for her. We then shared a delicious apple pie and ice cream (vegan). The staff were very helpful, food excellent and the background music superb. All in all, an excellent local eaterie. Will certainly return. Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5

It's hard to understand how a restaurant with so many dishes offered having poached eggs cannot seem to recruit chefs who know how to make them. Both dishes we had came with poached egges with yolks that did not run, clearly overcooked. The Eggs Royale came with a cold Hollandaise sauce that tasted horrible (good thing I had it on the side), and the brioche bun resembled a cheap hamburger bun. Coffee was no better than mediocre.

Ended up here while on the search for a gluten free brunch. Sooooo glad we did! The staff were great and had good knowledge of gluten free products. They were happy to substitute items on the breakfast that weren’t gf (sausages & bread). Service throughout was really good and the food was great. Will definitely be returning!! They also had some very yummy looking cakes and staff were happy to point out which were gf too. Thank you Wake Cup :)

Excellent contemporary cafe. The food is always of the highest quality and presentation. The service is also excellent. Lots of seating but needs to be as it is busy.

The place is so Quaint and the food is delicious. I just wish servers would listen to what the customers say I had water with lime in it and I already had it mixed in the line was squeeze to perfection and the server came back by and I and he asked me if I wanted more water and I said yes, for halfway to the top of this ice.Keep gave me a full glass of water, or nearly. It would not be a big deal, but the fact is, I explicitly asked for him to fill it halfway again. These servers, these days, they're just giving you what they want to have, they're not understanding in our paying attention, but they want to get a great tip fortunate for them. We tip well my boyfriend and I. But I am really getting aggravated with this. So overall, the meal was fine. It's just at these people do not listen.

Really disappointed. Arrived at 4ish on a Tuesday in half term with our 15 and 11 year old to a completely empty pub, just one patron sat at the bar. Really lovely cosy large area next to the fire that was empty but immediately told by bar staff we couldn't sit there with children due to licensing rules! We were allowed to sit in the drafty back lobby by the gents loos - not so great. Weird atmosphere, we clearly weren't welcome, shame as we'd planned a few rounds and dinner but we headed back to our local accommodation instead. Looked like a really quaint pub just wish we'd realised it wasn't somewhere for families.

This is my favorite tea shop. I love the rose cake and the scones are my favorite. They are so delicious. I want to go there every day. I am happy every time I visit here with my husband and my dog. The atmosphere is comfortable and the cake is delicious. The taste of the tea is good.

We had a meal here on Saturday as they were advertising a new menu. I had the salmon and my husband had the stuffed pork chop. Both dishes were so so lovely. The flavours were so fresh and the portions were really good as well. My husband said he hasn’t had a pork joint like it before and was blown away. You won’t be disappointed with the food here and we are fussy. The staff are all so lovely and really attentive. We will def be back soon
