This store is the worst one yet. Never seen such a mess and such rude stuff! The store manager and assistant manager were so rude to me! They should get fired because you don’t get paid to be rude to people. Never going there again!

Staff are always rushed, food is not great quality, prices are expensive and you do not get your value for what you have. The menu choice is so extremely poor and they within a couple of hours run out of things. Sweets are hard and old. It’s really disappointing

Stopped by for a quick sandwich, but wish I hadn't, as did similar couple of years ago. My sandwich had the barest minimum, no salad accompaniment. The price I paid you'd think I'd have had a lot more than the measly offering they served up! Quite pathetic but can't blame the staff, they are only following policy.

Clean and tidy, with average service, but unfortunately my hot chocolate was fairly rank, especially for £2.40. The saving grace that made the difference to this average grade to a lower one, was that toilets were located within this establishment.

Compared to our previous Waitrose cafe in Lincoln where we used to live this one leaves us disappointed. The selection of food choice is limited. The counter is too small but the staff are helpful and always smile. Not keen on their coffee but hot chocolate is good. Could do with improving the menu choice. Especially at lunch time at weekends.

Whenever we go shopping at Waitrose, we do this first then when completed we go into their cafe for refreshments. You can have some cold snacks or something more substantial, they have a nice selection of food available as well as some good hot & cold drinks, all of which can be purchased for a very reasonable price.

Fairly good supermarket based café, serving quality Waitrose style food at Waitrose prices. Moderately comfortable, clean surroundings with very helpful staff, just right for a pre/post shopping snack.....Which is what it's designed for.

In general good value, and the service is next to none, the staff; always, first class. However, we could do with more offers hence making it even better value

We have been to a few supermarket cafes and this one just about passes the test. Coffee OK, scone good. Atmosphere negligable. With all the competition around the bigwigs at Waitrose central could come up with better.

Thought I'd try here as I always seem to just walk past, now I wish I had kept going. Service was slow and the staff seemed they couldn't be bothered. The sandwich was not I would call value for money. Its a shame as it could be a lot better, especially when you have a number of coffee places and eateries near by to choose from makes me think as I say, I'll keep walking.

Arrived at Debenhams for a snack lunch, queue was twelve deep. Understandable, their food is good & it was 1pm. So backtracked to Waitrose cafe. Not much of a queue...okay...ish. Ordered ham & cheese toastie. Toastie was dismal; cheap ham, hardly tasted the cheese...if it was cheese. The accompanying salad consisted of just a sprig of tiny dried leaves, no tomato, no cucumber, nothing! I paid £5.15 for this inferior morsel of food! No wonder John Lewis profits are still going down!

If you have been doing your shopping in Waitrose & fancy a break, then why not try their café. The staff there are very friendly & they can provide you with hot & cold snacks as well as a nice cup of coffee or tea & all at a very reasonable price.

Thec service was not that bad, though you could tell they were just going through the numbers, unsmiling, resigned faces. The scrawny chicken & bacon toasted sandwich cost £5.30. It came with, literally, a couple of leaves of salad, nothing else! John Lewis cafes & John Lewis food & other stores need to seriously reconsider their pricing if they are not to continue their downward spiral!

Stopped off for the usual quality coffee and a breakfast roll. Had to wait to be attended to, whilst listening to staff chatting in the kitchen. Staff not overly welcoming compared to many of the Waitrose store cafes used. Nevertheless food and coffee as good as ever.

Not a great place for food - overpriced and disappointing pastries and sandwiches but lovely staff. Not a 'proper' Waitrose Cafe - very limited. Coffee's ok, but tend to be on the milky side.

Recently visited this cafe for the first time which is part of the new Waitrose store. We ordered two bacon sandwiches as opposed to rolls. The bread was dry, not asked if we wanted butter but the minute amount of bacon in the sandwich ,which was overcooked and hard as nails, was laughable. We were tempted to take a photo and show you all but in the end we left most of it and left. We have often ordered this sandwich in other Waitrose stores and been very pleased but not on this occasion. Won't be going there again.

A good place to stop for more than a sandwich whilst shopping especially if you are shopping in Waitrose as parking is then free for 2 hours.

Limited menu as is usual at Waitrose. Helpful people on counter. was shocked that you need to spend 20 pounds to get your parking validated. I know it's Waitrose, but really! Precinct reminded me of a similar venture in Bury. The multi-storey was well maintained. I like the leaves growing out of the floor numbers. I thought it, however, that it was very very expensive. Not impressed. Aren't towns supposed to encourage visitors?

Its quite a good place for a quick coffee and snack, but I prefer Monmouth and Malvern branches as they offer more choice for vegan dishes and can often alter them to make them suitable. Sadly in Hereford there is a very limited choice available.

My mother and I went for lunch at Waitrose Hereford. We both ordered jacket potatoes with prawns. The food was lovely but the portions very small. I did have the pecan yum yum after with was delicious. The jacket potatoes could definitely be bigger. Not recommended if you have a hearty appetite like me!

Its self service and the queue often long, especially when Hereford FC are at home. The food options are limited to sticky buns and paninis etc with no full meal option. Food quality is very Waitrose which is a high standard but be aware that prices are not cheap. Tea and coffee are very well done here. Staff always chatty and friendly. Good range of newspapers available. I've visited a dozen times drawn in by the location and the coffee.

Tiny lukewarm jacket potato with cheese, which hadn't melted. Limp dry salad leaves with no dressing. Pretty disgusting. Terrible value for money. Expect much more from Waitrose. Complained to head office by email. Told they would inform staff.

The food was tasty and the place was quirky with plenty of potential. Loved the eclectic feel of the place. However the floors were dirty, there were two used spoons under our table, the teapot and milk jug were absolutely filthy and visibly dirty and the toilet needed a good clean. The hand towel was disgusting, smelly and stained. We were the sole customers in there. Such a shame as this place could be really great. There was also personal post left by the table we sat at detailing a person's name, address and car insurance crime.

Scrambled eggs on sourdough toast, with baked beans - it was perfectly done and presented, tasty and satisfying. No complaints. My wife had poached eggs on brown toast, all good apart from the toast could have done with a little more butter on it. The staff who we met were very professional, efficient and friendly. We will return.

Very poor service in the cafe today. We arrived at 2.37pm I was reaching for 2 panini’s, when a rude man advised he wouldn’t heat them as the oven was turned off. I am presuming the fridge full of panini’s would be destroyed as out of date. A very uncommercial and unfriendly cafe.

After many months of so much rudeness from one female member of staff we've had enough! Thin woman with hard, witch-like face, she'd make comments towards me & my two grandchildren as we sat either having a drink or children's meal deal. I've been told this awful woman has more complaints made against her than all other staff put together! She seems to enjoy nitpicking, we mustn't do this or that, 'Have you paid for those drinks?,' she'd shout in a loud voice for everyone to hear, & stern rebukes if any of us asked for even one extra sauce sachet or used the wrong type of cup etc etc. I should add, the rest of the catering staff are always polite & friendly.
