Exceptional customer service from Jason in the Hereford store. Thank you so much for the help and advice with the Roman blinds and chairs.

Nice well presented shop, plenty of parking and clean cafe upstairs. Set up for disabled and wheelchairs. Huge choice of stock at competitive prices.

This is my first stop when looking for something for the house. There are loads of great, and unique items available. Also, have a great lighting and cafe upstairs for when you get peckish from browsing for so long.

Service in café poor. Toilets unclean, no tissue paper or hand wash.

A really big Dunelm which is great. However on a Saturday lunch time there was only one person behind the cafe till and a queue the length of the cafe

I used the Pausa cafe. There are always always long queues and young inexperienced staff operating the till and hot drinks. The hot breakfast option was ok, you get what you pay for, bacon thin and reheated, the sausage reheated.

I visited this store on the 01/06/2024. I was overwhelmed by the help, understanding and support I received from the shop assistant Emma. Big thanks again.

The wait at the cafe absolutely ridiculous, one young man holding the fort. He was very proffesional, how he managed I really dont know. They had ran out of jkt potatoes, and apple pie. it is 1pm extra staff and extra food needed. The 3 stars are for him. Dunelm gets thumbs down 👎staff shouldnt be in this position.

Cafe: very disappointing no straws for the frappe, waited forever, they need a up to date coffee machine, it's rubbish!! It's slow!! Spend some money and up grade!!

My partner recently purchased the Ashbourne Ochre blackout curtains. The blackout sections are littered with holes allowing light to pour through. Dunelm customer service started off strong then have become so atrocious that we will never buy from Dunelm again. I have to drive a 80 mile round trip to fit these curtains for my elderly Mum in law. Dunelm sent a replacement so I drove back over there for a 2nd time, only to find the same issue with the blackout part making them useless at this time of year. I rung customer service and explained to a manager i could no longer afford to keep diving that distance with no guarantee of the quality of product. I said that with limited funds i needed a full refund before i could purchase curtains elsewhere. I also said that i should not have to pay the petrol money to make that trip, just to return the curtains. I asked that a full refund be given and that i just chuck the curtains in the bin next time i go over. They refused to give the refund to enable my elderly vunerale mum in law to buy new curtains, and they refused to do it until i had once again spent another £15 on petrol to get the item and take it to a post office to return. Shame on Dunelm for treating their elderly customers like that.

Waiting in the line about 15 minutes to buy a coffee Frappe. After being paid, the staff said no straw for my drink, so they went and find the straw. Again, waiting for 10 minutes, in the end the staff came out and told me we're sorry, don't have any straw. What a joke 🙄

Helpful staff, plenty of everything. Catering area can be very busy, could do with extra staff to support the amount of people that need serving (this is the same everytime I’ve visited).

The cafe is extremely slow. We queued for 20 minutes with only 3/4 people infront of us as it looked like there was only 1 lady working. Once we got to the front, we realised there was 3 other staff members in the back just laughing! You could hear them chatting and laughing whilst the poor lady on the shop floor was running around, taking orders, making drinks and getting food. Even when she asked for help they took their time. The cakes here are always nice but coffee isn't strong enough. Overall, staff need a kick up the backside to cut down on customer wait times.

..generally good coffee and food.....but the service!!!!....terrible. We regularly visit Hereford and drop into Dunelm for a coffee. If there are more than 2 people in the queue we just leave as we don't normally have an hour to spare waiting. Even if you are at the front of the queue it can take ages to get served. Don't really know why as there seem to be plenty of staff, just not focused on serving the customer. Needs a good "time and motion" study carrying out....

The cafe service is sooooo sllllooooowwwww. The staff are pleasant but seem poorly trained or just untrained, queuing time is TERRIBLY LONG, the systems in place are poor with time wasted on each order for staff to fetch table numbers/ trays/ tap water/ cutlery (all of which customers could do themselves during busy times), the kids offer/deal is so confusing and then seems to take forever for the staff to input it into the till, the waiting staff consistently fail to wipe clean tables and chairs down the wait time (on something as simple as a toastie) is 15 minutes (?!), the till staff member is manually writing an order down and delivering it to the kitchen (this should be computerised, surely!?), customers are queues for over 20 minutes and then finding the item they want to order isn't available (please let customers know via signage when this is the case!), the manager is waiting tables and leaving the untrained staff on the till at the busiest time of the day with very little support. Total shambles. Food is passable but overpriced for what it is, and definitely overpriced for such poor service. I rarely write reviews but this was bad enough to push me to it. Do better Dunelm Hereford!

Very excited. I went in for pink cushions and came out with so much more, but of course everything I needed.

The pausa cafe service is terrible unfortunately. Never the food you want in stock, we got given dirty cups, had to go and ask for our table to be wiped. It's a shame because the food is nice once it gets there !

Possibly the slowest service of anywhere in Hereford. 20 minutes of queueing0 then they put out the sign saying no jacket potatoes. At least 10 more minutes to queue. Will they run out of coffee beans before I get to order? Ok coffee lasted longer than the queue, but I'm not sure you get any more shots in the extra large cappuccino it was VERY week and close to boiling. Too much to ask for a clean table too. Will avoid in future.

A great place to come for all your homewares. A wide range of products with a good choice within ranges. Prices are generally reasonable, but bargins can be had in the sales. I never tried the cafe, but it did seem very popular, although waiting times were being moaned about by a few.

There is always a good selection of reasonably priced merchandise available here. Good place for most household products. Unfortunately, on my previous visit, there was a real delay at checkout with only two open and staff having to deal with a couple of large orders. I mentioned this to a member of staff who responded that it will clear. It didn't, so I returned my potential purchases and left. It was much better on my latest visit, with four checkouts staffed.

Always a treat to visit Dunelm. I more often than not come away with more than I intended to buy. Such is the tantalising range of goods on offer!

Who doesn't love a fluffy towel and some candles. Particularly when they won't break the bank.

Dunelms for blinds. Always good quality and good value. Highly recommend.

Can get a few bargains but over priced

Went to the cafe for light lunch. Had 2 toasties and kids pasta. It wasnt bust but waited over 25 mins for food to arrive. Toasties v poorly presented - not even a salad garnish. Kids pasta - obviously straight from the microwave- was so hot it was too dangerous for a 5 year old to eat. Won't be returning.

Love going here. Shame the cafe can't serve as quick as they do in the shop . It's very frustrating . Always a que and just seem to be on go slow .I seen people walk out because stood waiting for a coffee. Someone please sort them out. Plus high.prices.

Just had a look around didn't buy anything

We called in whilst shopping in store we both had a sandwich and coffee, the sandwich was okay but the coffee was disgusting neither of us could drink it, I think they should seriously consider changing their supplier. We haven’t been there since and never will again.

First time coming here and the store itself is great but a HALF HOUR wait in the queue for the cafe just to get drinks is ridiculous. The staff are clearly stressed and embarrassed by it so if its normally like this on a Saturday I actually feel sorry for them. More staff are needed to help!

Really like your store all the staff are very friendly and helpful... Your selection of gluten free cake and biscuits are very disappointing to say you used to have alot because out of the 3 of us 2 were gluten free and the only thing they could have was a gluten free brownie which they are allergic to chocolate Update came to your coffee shop the other day, and the only thing you could offer a gluten free / dairy free customer was a chocolate brownie or some crisps

Don't bother with the cafe. Unfriendly staff. Tasteless sandwich. Stopped service at 3pm for hot food which included a toasted sandwich!! Even though started queuing before 3 !! Otherwise homeward store great

A large store and cafe.good for ideas and keen pricing

If I could give zero stars I would. We waited for 20 minutes to be served. At which point the woman taking the orders stormed off saying she couldn’t handle all the noise. So was left waiting another few minutes for someone to replace her. I ordered an omelette. What came was something no bigger than 3mm thick and about 4 inches round. Clearly not an omelette. At the best it was an egg something of some sort. Tasteless The coffee was awful. When it was being made the cup was only under one side of the coffee machine output so at best you got half a shot of the coffee. This meant it was flavourless milk. I really don’t like leaving a review like this but I cannot find one positive thing to say

It is baffling to me why on earth you have chosen a courier that has a 2 star review online? I have taken the day off work to receive my item only for me to have to ring your offices twice to chase the order. Said order was apparently still not processed by panther's and when I asked if dunelms could call panther they informed me that they could only email. I have now received an email from the courier to book a delivery date! And the earliest one they have is 4 days away! Not even a courtesy email to explain that item will be late. They may be cheap couriers for you but they are doing your business no favours. As I will never order from dunelm online again.

Called in today to buy a grey fitted king-size sheet. Sizes were all mixed up on the shelf. I finally found one and took it to the tills and was not told I couldn't return or exchange it until after I had paid. Lot of staff standing inside the entrance talking to each other, still there when I left.

Excellent collection of house essentials and decorative. They do have free parking available in front of the shop. This is a very big shop with excellent quality things. Highly recommended.

Popped here to buy a pizza cutting board, saving me a good £3 as opposed to buying one online. Nice two storey shop, good selection of household items. Always clean and tidy. Cafe and customer toilets upstairs, Good parking though it can fill up during busy periods.

Good selection of items with option to order online and collect in store ,after a couple of hours same day,it was quite busy on our visit which resulted in slightly longer que time ,but staff on tills were polite saying sorry for waiting which was not a problem.

Shop is great but cafe is very understaffed and hit and miss, always stacked used crockery on tables that has to be moved to enable us to sit down. Nothing has been served to us the same twice.

I love Dunelm even if it is just for a walk around but, Hereford one has a cafeteria and we always treat ourselves to a sandwich / cake and a drink, highly recommended.
