We usually shop at Waitrose Market Harborough where we have never been disappointed, this morning we visited lutterworth , we selected a small white farmhouse loaf from the bakery and 2 croissants from the bakery (1 x choc / 1 x plain) . All of these goods from were not fresh certainly not baked today. I have never experienced this in the Market Harborough store. We will not be revisiting this store.

Used to be a pleasure. Now there are too many self serve checkouts and not enough rolls. I don’t go to Waitrose to serve myself. Given the price I at least expect to have someone check me out. Step too far Waitrose. Get it sorted. Self check outs fine if people want them, make sure there are plenty of proper checkouts or I’ll be going elsewhere.

I decided to stop in for lunch, wish I hadn’t bothered. No cakes on the monthly offer available, which was fine but rudely informed With no apology. I had to ask for sprinkles on my Cappuccino. Bought a toastie and when the transaction had finished I had to ask the lady if she could take it away to toast 😄 it came back over toasted, soggy and with no filling left inside. I tried a mouthful of the soggy bread and left. The cafe wasn’t busy so no excuses for the service, probably poor training?

Lovely staff make this supermarket a cut above the rest. The range of food on offer is amazing and the Essentials range is very good value for money and excellent quality.

I love Waitrose, love the bakery, get on well with the staff. The only reason I don’t give 5 spots is because it’s often short staffed. Mostly I get around this by self scanning but nowadays I even have to queue for the self scan some days. And heaven forbid if you ever have to have a re-scan, don’t let them do it, just delete the transaction & queue up again because it will be quicker!

You'll be lucky if you can get through the checkout in under five minutes thanks to the glacial scanning rates and people claiming their 'free' coffees, which inexplicably adds two minutes per customer. Even at the very busiest times the floor manager will close a checkout so the assistant can take their break despite queues stretching ten deep. Thankfully, Morrisons is just round the corner.

Walked into here yesterday, there was a handwritten sign in the chiller cabinet saying it was out of order.Stood at the counter for 5 minutes and got totally ignored by the two staff that were around. This turned out helpful as we left and found an amazing tea room elsewhere.

My wife got me a free coffee with her Waitrose card; sign up online and you get this and a free newspaper with your shopping in the supermarket. It is fairly small and parking is free, so the other review mentioning a parking fee and the monthly shop seems a bit out of place. I also bought a packet of coffee, which was on offer, but noticed afterwards I had been charged the regular price.

Great variety of food. Shame about the parking fee. Well worth the trip. A little far from where we live but good for the monthly shop.

Pleasant and well laid out store, but always check your bill and change. The cafe always seemed to be full of a better class of people who are only there for the gossip and free drink.

My wife and I called into the little cafe in Waitrose for coffee. My wife also had the butterscotch pecan cake. Service was good. Cake and coffee were very nice. Surroundings lacked something; not very inviting. Had to queue for the toilet, as one of the two toilets was out of order.

I am not sure if the shop is run by the people at the pub it looks conjoined. We have been to the pub before and was lovely. I went into the shop today and I couldn’t believe in this day and age the manager was treating his staff so appallingly. The staff were polite and lovely. The man was a complete jerk. I am surprised acas has not been called about his behaviour. My advice leave your staff to do their job and you little man stay away

Often visit Costa (why have they stopped selling cinnamon buns?) This one is as you would expect with the usual fare. There was a very pleasant young lady both taking the order and preparing the coffee. There were other staff but seemed to be on a break at the time. If you like Costa this one won't dissapoint.

This is always my favourite place to go for breakfast before I go to work in town … Louisa’s Place is always pristine and so welcoming and the breakfasts are always cooked freshly for you and presented really well on the plate. The surroundings are comfortable, colourful and right up my street ! Bravo Chef! 👏👏 Rosemarie Jarvis Director Hanworth Hats Harborough
