Seems really dumb that they don’t do takeaway coffee? Like literally every coffee shop in the world has this feature except for this one.

Great place to have a coffee and breakfast just near to Oxford city centre , prime quality coffee, great service offered for the young staff, and a fair price, inclusive cheaper to tesco cafe. Really recommended.

Lovely friendly staff..good food and nice atmosphere. Good choice for vegetarians and quality coffee. Enjoy having the newspapers back to read.

Nice cheap and cheerful cafe with cheerful staff! It's worth noting that due to staff issues they often aren't serving the hot food. The Cafe acoustics have a way of dissipating both the sound of the cafe itself but also the supermarket. So definately suitable for the neuro divergent. It sort of has a similar noise distribution to a swimming pool

Came for a quick lunch. Everything took ages, making my coffee, passing my sandwich order to the kitchen, operating the till, fetching a glass of water. I won't be back in a hurry!

Refused my £38 back for missing items, when I found out that a member of staff had taken my shopping when picking up click and collect ordered from Asda Dagenham I have ordered from asda click and collect at least 5X each time items are missing. The last time I had £38 of missing items. I did not realise as they came out 3x firstly to tell me a member of staff had took my original order and had a few bits from large order then came back to tell me still shopping. After waiting over an hour in the secluded allocated spot which is pitch black, no CCTV and quite creepy late at night I thought will take the issue up with asda. I rand within 2 hours of getting home but 9 weeks later, 3 recored phone calls (that I sent them where I was originally promised this refund time and time again) and 7 long emails later explaining my shopping was taken by a member of their staff. I have been refused my refund as it seems, my time has run out to get it. I am so angry but it seems there is nothing I can do. Wrong on so many levels. I will never use asda again. I should have learnt from my previous orders of wrong or missing items

Llamamos para el desayuno, pedí un desayuno pequeño, era pequeño, llegó en un plato frío, mi esposa tenía Welsh rarebit nuevamente servido en un plato frío, no eran los estándares habituales que esperarías de Waitrose y no valoran dinero

Aunque soy un gran admirador de Waitrose, los llamados restaurantes no son realmente restaurantes en absoluto, solo son cafés glorificados, sin embargo, el servicio fue excelente, el personal fue extremadamente amable, servicial y acogedor. La comida en sí era pasable y comestible, pero no haría una línea de abejas.

Not a vast menu but OK for a quick snack, just right for when you finished shopping,the staff are very friendly and smart,nothing too much trouble.

The cafe is just so slow. Thirty five minutes to heat up a toasted sandwich, come on. It can’t be a surprise that if you’re running a cafe, that at lunchtime customers may turn up!

I love the high quality food at this cafe. For example, the maple bacon rashers the come with the English breakfast meal are amazingly delicious as is the sour dough toast. And, it fits your budget: 5 pounds and 50 pence. My only complaint about the cafe is that it takes a long time to place an order, and if you order a specialty drink like a latte if takes them a very long time to make it. If they could speed up service at the register the cafe experience would be excellent. I always get impatient waiting in the cafe lines to order! Staff is very friendly, but service slow.

do sometimes wish Waitrose would stick to similar layout in it's shops... it's a supermarket, so you know, it stocks food and household products :) if you like shopping at Waitrose, you'll be happy. if you haven't shopped there before, it is actually cheaper than sainbury's so long as don't give into too much foodie temptation.

Great selection of any food, good prices, great temporary deals. Not cheap stuff but better quality products.

It’s a supermarket. It’s Waitrose so plenty of premium options. Bigger than the one in headington. We liked the parent and child parking in the shade, also chairs with arms in the cafe (handy for feeding baby) and good baby change room. Lots of gluten free options.

To state the obvious, this is a cafe in a supermarket. The menu is largely breakfast dishes. The food is what you might expect - simple and consistent.

Just popped in for a sandwich, fair priced and conveniently placed in botley. Not much more of a choice around.

Very helpful staff, they went out of their way to help us find everything we needed, lots to choose from too.

Nice area to sit and relax and enjoy a nice cup of coffee and a cake, very decent staff and a pleasant enjoyable view through the large windows.

Limited but useful menu. Staff can't always cope with providing trays or cutlery or clearing tables.

I dropped in with my brother who is here on holiday. I ordered a large breakfast and 2 teas but when i sat at the table ( which i had to ask to be cleared) i realised i had been charged for 2 breakfasts. Finally got that sorted and the money put back on my card. The breakfast arrived (if you could call it that) in a dish like plate which looked like it was designed for pasta. The sausages were not cooked and were cold, 3 small mushrooms not cooked and the toast was inedible as it was rock hard. My brother advised the staff of this and that it was the worst breakfast he had been presented with. I'm so pleased that i didn't want any food there.

Loved the flatbread combo! Good choice of filling with Brie and bacon or feta and olives. A nice lunch when you are in a rush after you have done your shopping. A relaxing atmosphere too.

No bad but not worth a tenner for what they call a full English. Portions very small and a bit on the cold side

My wife and I visited the cafe before heading off to the GP. It was just before 9am and relatively quiet. I approached the counter and was immediately served. Great I thought!

Service was pleasant and the coffee was good. Cakes were a bit dry, which was surprising. There were crumbs on the table and seats, so we had to clean it up ourselves. The toilets were in a dirty state and I had to mention this to one of the partners before it was sorted out.

Stopped for breakfast on Sunday morning Did not seem to be more customers than usual but the wait for a bacon and egg sandwich usually about 5 minutes was today 35 minutes I was not the only one waiting but it is not a good service 3 managers came to deal with one customers complaints so they were aware. Not a good experience.

Oltre al bar Waitrose è un gran bel supermercato. Oltre alle solite cose è possibile trovare molte specialità tipiche sia Inglesi che particolari di Oxford. Vedi ad esempio le diverse varietà di thé e le marmellate di Cooper proprio prodotte ad Oxford. Con il proprio marchio commercializza anche ottime birre e sidro.

We often come here before or after shopping at aldi which is just down the road. Only have coffee and cake which is well priced.. I wouldn't buy any of the other food as it's over priced.. That said the breakfast looks excellent. 👌

Had a caramel latte in the cafe it was OK and drinkable but was a little watery not very frothy and a little strong for my taste

A good range of choices on the menu. Hot meals, hot snacks as well as fresh sandwiches daily. Free coffee with your mywaitrose card, what more could you expect at such a location? Light and airy environment, friendly staff.

A very nice addition to West Oxford . The staff are friendly and helpful and the restaurant is great for a breakfast. Car park can be a bit tight but a lovely store with superb food.

Great for resting mid-shopping, with delicious cakes and sandwiches and table service offered if you have mobility needs or children. A friendly ambiance too, considering it is a supermarket.

So disappointing, there were no vegetarian sandwich options, I did tell the assistant, but with a store full of food I don't really understand why.

This is a medium to large sized self-service cafeteria in the beautiful new Waitrose store on the Botley Road.

The new Waitrose has a very nice, large clean cafe with a large choice of things on the menu, but the service is very slow and no one seems to quite know what they're doing.

Busy but good service with good coffee. Attentive staff, but you would expect that from Waitrose. Nice shop, would like it bigger though. Shout out to Michael Benhamou a member of staff who went out of his way to help on the shop floor.

I was pleasantly surprised upon eating a meal in Waitrose cafe in Oxford, the food was good quality and presented well. My husband had a full breakfast and when I complained about not alot for vegetarians I was told I just had to ask and they would make a vegetarian breakfast. Another time we had to wait at a busy time and my husband was refunded his money (that kept him happy) If you are a waitrose member you also get free coffee. The atmosphere is very relaxed.
