Waitrose in Harborough

Great food great stafff clean as a whistle always good place to shop the best second to none good parking facilities great wine at reasonable prices wouldn't go anywhere else although i dont live in harborough

Called at the cafe whilst shopping & was very disappointed. The staff were good but I wanted a bacon roll only to find out that I couldn’t have one without butter as they were already prepared, most people I know don’t like butter on a bacon roll. I decided to have a cake & an Americano with no milk, this was decidedly weak in look & taste. All in all I was disappointed as I expected more from waitrose

Quick visit to Waitrose for drink during my walk. A lot of offers available. Shelves full of stock. Quick service at self checkout. All I didn’t like is flower and plant section because a lot of house plants were nearly dead for not taking care of them 😞 Overall good one

I visited Waitrose Banbury store in July with my one year old daughter and whilst I was checking out my shopping she alarmingly picked up a bottle of commercial cleaning fluid which had been left by the Waitrose cleaners on the floor without a lid on. She took a swig before I could grab it from her, and we then spent 5 hours in A & E and she was very unwell for 2 weeks following the incident. It was a hugely upsetting and stressful situation for us as a family and Waitrose are refusing to apologise for their negligence or share any details from their alleged safety review following the incident. I have been left completely shocked at the way it has been handled by them, and on this basis would not recommend parents to take young children to the store as it is clearly not a safe environment.

This is just a very big thank you to the staff who organise, prepare and deliver our online groceries. A great deal of time and trouble is taken in getting the order ready for delivery and I'd like to give a big thank-you to whoever that is, as well as to the drivers who are always reliable and on time and friendly. The whole service is a life-saver! MANY, MANY HEARTFELT THANKS!

Love Waitrose for the variety of food. Although you pay more, for the quality of food it is definately worth it. Staff are professional, efficient and friendly. Self service areas are very handy, particularly when you only have a couple of items. I found everything I wanted under one roof. Good parking facilities.

When this location first opened it was sought after for both drinks but also lunch/dinner. Since the introduction of the limited food menu it has become a re-heated food location and with high turnover of kitchen staff doesn't appear that the store management prioritise a good service. My most recent visit 3 tables with dirty cups/saucers/dishes not cleared away for 30mins and kitchen door permanently open with bangs/crashes disturbing all the cafe customers as staff load/unload dishwasher - just shows a lack of thought by the staff and clearly no management. Waitrose HQ about time you sent mystery customers to this location to get on top of decline in service standards!

Good parking , the food is exquisite my aunts a vegan and it’s the only place with a whole food range for her to taste. She enjoys it very much. As a difficult vegan finding food she likes is a struggle but with Waitrose she always fills a trolley. The price may be a bit expensive but the quality really makes it worth it. I myself prefer Lidl and Aldi as the quality is just as amazing as the price, literally there so close why would you go to Waitrose when Aldi is so close in Market Harborough. But anyway Waitrose is really good for people like vegans and vegetarians as well as the meats being great quality.

So it’s Sunday morning and we decided to pop in Waitrose for a bit of shopping and treat ourselves to lunch & coffee. Big mistake!!!There were 3 tables available not clear, covered in pots, plates etc. We cleared it ourselves and got napkins to clean it. I left my husband at the table while I went to queue for lunch.believe it or not it took just over 20 minutes to make it to the till to order. There were 3 members of staff behind the counter, a lot of banter going on between them and chatting away, lovely to see them all getting on but having worked in food service for 6 years I could see they would be better if they concentrated on getting the drinks made a little quicker. There really didn’t seem to be any reason to rush, but the huge queue would disagree. After I ordered I waited for my drinks but it all went a bit pear shaped. They got everyone’s drinks muddled up and customers started getting annoyed. Finally we got our drinks and waited for our soup.Again we had a long wait, which for soup was a bit silly. Sorry Waitrose I normally love your cafes but won’t be visiting this one again. The service in oadby is far better.

I would just like to say how bad the service is here in the cafe . Iv been in service nearly 17 yrs in catering and since we came in nearly 20 mins ago my mum has only just got back to her seat . Otherwise it's a very nice place

The drinks were fine but the service was very poor. Three girls serving but it took a ridiculous amount of time to get my drinks and cookies. There were lots of empty tables that had not been cleared. The three girls were more interested in chatting than providing a service.

An easy store to shop at with tastings most Saturday mornings. This is not a big store and often the special offers have sold out if you go at the weekend, but the staff are friendly and it has a cafe and toilets.

Hemos comido en otros establecimientos waitrose y tenía un buen servicio. Personal no calentamiento, mal cocinado desayuno, que llegó 25 minutos después de que sirve café. Huevo estaba más preparado sobre bacon tomates cocidos y salchichas también no tienen mucho color muy decepcionante por 7 libras. 00 no le gustaría volver. También son flexibles en Waitrose no artículos chanining si eres alérgico a cualquiera de los elementos indicados.
