Honestly don’t know how they’re an up and running business or how “Bhav” has a job?? I asked for a specific dish without ginger and I got laughed at because they knew it was my first time trying Wagamama’s, felt so intimidating. Then I got wrongly charged and when I had asked for a refund they made it seem like I had asked for the whole world. I asked to be refunded the difference instead they insisted I had to be charged TWICE and “the refund will come in over a week are you sure you want to do it” then was told “it will take about half an hour to print out the paperwork are you sure”. Like what?? I had to eat a meal loaded with ginger then was over charged twice for it. When I had asked for tap water they completely ignored me and just didn’t bring it out. Disgusting establishment honestly they run like a high school full of mean girls.

Unfortunately I can’t give this branch of Wagamamas any stars whatsoever. What a shame also they really don’t care about customers reviews,they don’t reply to them. On entrance into the place , we were met with a surly 😠 faced girl ,we didn’t say anything and she was laying out a table left of the front entrance. ( note the place was practically empty) She made us wait until she had finished setting up the paper mats and bits. Then didn’t even say Sorry to keep you waiting! Just said follow me ! lol Took us to where she picked up the menus and a lady walked up to her to ask a question. So she made us wait again!! While she chatted to this woman with her back to us. Once at the table we caught the eye of another waitress who was just chatting to her colleague and she took our order. One meal came up the other did not and I just sat there. Finally I think a manager came over and said what did you order, I told him and it came in seconds. But the first waitress should have followed up! I don’t think I have ever had great service in any of this chains locations. Such I shame it hasn’t improved at all.

As someone who loves Wagamama, I've visited numerous locations across various countries, and this one stands out as one of the best. Our server, George, went above and beyond. He made sure neither me nor my boyfriend had any allergies before taking our order. He meticulously accommodated all the modifications we requested for our ramens. Our drinks and dishes came out quickly and prepared exactly to our specifications. George's attentive service and extra effort truly made our evening. Many thanks, George!

We've been knowing Wagamama for years, so, not much surprise about the food, that is more or less the same everywhere, with slight differences. From that standpoint, not the best in terms of size of portions, but no big difference with the others. The problem here is the service: you do not feel welcome at all as a customer, they ignore you until you really go to them and ask for a table, doing their job seems to be really painful for them, no good advise about the food, no care. The brand of a franchise is not enough to make it a success. Like in every business, what makes the difference is people. Someone would have to start managing this place!

On a rainy day decided to have a quick lunch here. The female waitress (Emma) was friendly however almost £8 for two cold pork buns well I almost choked on how hard the pork was and it was so cold. The male waiter took it away, no apology. He asked whether I wanted a replacement or taken off the bill. I said (conscious of food waste) if it could be made correctly then yes. Some 20 mins later, a portion was dumped at me and I was told by another cheeky male water in a baseball cap. “Do you want to check that’s hot enough” and proceeded to walk off. Needless to say it was just as the original portion was served (see attached photo). A while later a third portion was produced which I refused. I have slowly stopped dining at Wagamama for this reason as NO ONE acknowledges reviews, in particular I had a concern about plastic being found in one of the dishes in Hammersmith which I had partially swallowed. Silence from their Head Office… My partner is looking at a premises nearby which caters for the clientele that work in the area. It is fair to say other catering outlets will thrive as Wagamama is really not delivering on quality or service!

ATTENTION DANGER: We live locally and we ordered vegan food from this restaurant on Tuesday evening. Straight after eating my daughter had gastrointestinal issues. The next morning she woke up with horrible nausea and threw up 9 times which lead us to A&E where she spent the day with IV and medication. She was in a lot of pain, dehydrated and with a rash on her face quite typical from food poisoning. We stayed until late and went back the next morning at the hospital request, rash her face and pain in stomach. Third morning: still strong nausea. Deliveroo escalated it and yet for the restaurant owner to contact me and yet I HAVE NOT BEEN CONTACTED YET. So whatever this is, food bacteria, cross contamination or an employee with dirty hands, I would avoid a restaurant with such little care for the way its food is prepared/stored and mainly for its customers who got sick eating their poisoned food.

Food wasn't bad but not exceptional, the staff was very rude! The kitchen closes at 10 p.m., we had dinner around 9:20 p.m. and the waitresses were already cleaning all the tables, refilling bottles of soy sauce, that's why we hadn't any at our table. I provided a set of sauces by myself, there was one on a table nearby ours, few moments later a waitress came and asked for it. It was around 9:40 p.m. when they asked if we wanted something else to eat, 'cause the kitchen was going to close. Fair enough. We had other dishes while some people were just sitting. Around 9:50 (kitchen still open) they switched on all the lights, started to sweep the floor and asked a table next to ours to pay the bill, the man almost chocked himself trying to finish the dish. We all felt chased away. They were running back and forth to close the restaurant as soon as they can. This is unacceptable. I hope this will help to provide a better service.

Average visit, we’re regulars at Waggas! Had my usual steak Terriyaki, steak very dry and over cooked, it’s usually medium rare, food not particularly hot. Couldn’t find any veg other than a couple of pai Choi pieces so lacked ingredients. Same for kids meal. Child’s meal didn’t arrive until I’d finished my meal. Long waits for both food and drinks. Refused to accept my 2 gift vouchers to cover my bill (gifted to me as Xmas gifts by family), excuse was that they can only accept one gift voucher not two. Disappointing and annoying.

My first time visiting Wagamama Wigmore street, and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The service was excellent; I asked the lady ( a staff member) to recommend a dish for me since it was my first time, and I appreciated her suggestion. I regret not asking for her name, as she was very nice, and the service was quite fast. I would definitely visit again.

I'd been wanting to try wagamama for years, and it did not disappoint! I tried the chicken gyoza ramen and prawn appetizer with chili dip. Both dishes were tasty and flavorful, although the ramen broth could have been warmer. I also got the non-alcoholic mojito beverage which was a refreshing complement to my meal. However, I was charged for an item I cancelled which I didn't realize until after I paid. I would opt for a paper bill instead of doing the online, pay via phone bill to be sure.

The ambience and atmosphere were pleasant. Although the service started a bit slow, once acknowledged, it became efficient, thanks to a very good and informative server. A notable aspect was the option of bean sprouts for those who don't consume carbs, which was pleasing. It’s such a nice place to eat after shopping in Selfridges. The food was great. It’s great for someone on a ketogenic lifestyle plan. The only thing I had an issue is was the QR code online payment system. The page was too slow and full of pop up ads. I tried several times to enter the payment details. So someone needs to sort out the online ordering page

Food was good but our waitress made it quite clear that serving us was an effort and that bringing us some water was just too much to ask (despite asking more than once). We even got a theatrical wave across her brow as if she thought she was too good to be serving in a restaurant. It’s rare for me not to leave a tip as my daughter has worked in restaurants in the past and I know how poorly staff are paid….however tips are paid for ‘good customer service’ certainly not what was experienced here this evening….

On 10 January 2024, they had to close mid service because the kitchen was forced to close. This restaurant has mice. The mice were comfortably running around which suggests that this was not a new problem. Unfortunately, we did not notice until after our meal. They did not offer us our money back. We left so quickly, we left several baby items. We will not be going back for them.

Me and my 12 year old daughter have been here several times and not been a problem apart from getting seated. This particular time we decided to eat here after a look in the selfridges sale. We ordered Katsu chicken curry and teriyaki steak soba. Now in all Wagamama restaurants the steak comes medium rare (we’ve been to many as we love it) they sometimes ask if that’s ok but not always. The food came and it was so well done it was like brown rubber!!! I politely asked if I could have it changed and told him why and he agreed it was over cooked and he took it straight to one of the cooks or chef and he wasn’t happy raising his arms and arguing with the guy whom took it back? The guy then took the plate over to someone else and then took it into what I believe was maybe the office? This was all in front of us? A fresh dish finally comes out around 15-20 mins later and I asked if there was a problem and he tells me they’ve been busy and they’ve had x amount of people in and he’s tired?? No sorry nothing, I’m a paying customer I don’t believe this was my problem but I just said oh ok and tried to eat the rough poor bit of grisly cut terribly steak the second dish arrived at. I paid my bill in full and left swiftly and will never go back as it was so uncomfortable for us.

The restaurant is located in one of the corners (Selfridges). Service was really good even though the place was fully booked. We ordered few drinks but at that moment they didn’t have any sort of Sake (that was sad). Despite of that we ordered some other drinks. Drinks were okay, nothing crazy. All the tapas were good and tasty, but the mains are probably the way to go. Dessert was good but nothing interesting. Good if you want to share with someone. Wagamama is a good place to go when you want to share something good (not crazy good) and it’s not as expensive as some other places around.

Service appalling and the staff look like they could do with a nice pair of clean clothes. Black top and jeans too big for them with big trainers. We waited 20 min to be seated whilst staff chatted and then were hurried up to eat and get out before closing time. We informed the staff about our treatment the Spanish waiter said "so what" the manager came for the rest of the payment as the Spanish waiter had given the wrong amount and he was tired and grumpy shouting at us aggressively until we expressed our disgust. We also informed him we were paying customers and we acknowledge he had a long day but still the service industry is a service industry. it was a horrid experience we won't be going back and hope that someone responds to this. How said we used to love Wagamama

IT took us 20 min to be seated yet there was plenty of space and too many young giggle servers wearing dirty old jeans and not concentrating. We ate the food was okay but then it was coming up to 1030 a rude Spanish waiter came with the bill and gave us the wrong bill and when we told him we were not leaving a service tip he became more rude and arrogant. The manager came accusing us of not paying the amount we were billed his excuse for the abrupt behaviour was he was tired. Excuse me we pointed out we just paid 70 quid a little decorum on our experience would be nice. Awful awful awful never go there what a disastrous and rude bunch of serving people.

No one manning the front entry desk so ended up walking to the bar to aak to be seated. Other than that, great food, convenient location. Ask for the children's menu as the adult portions are American sized and the children's portions are UK dinner sized for a fraction of the adult price. Green tea is complimentary.

Most dishes are pretty good, and the waiter that we got (named Val) was extremely kind and helpful. I didn't like my dish and he agreed to give me a different one instead which was better. One thing I didn't like is that the restaurant doesn't have separate tables and is quite noisy.

I will never understand how Wagamama is so popular. Gave it many of chances over the years but today was definitely the last. The food is completely tasteless - the gyozas out of the grocery shop freezer have more taste then that and the Pad Thai, well it’s nothing to do with its original version. It’s literally rice noodles, egg and fried onions, oh lots of fried onions! The first time I visited Wagamama, I absolutely loved it. As a vegetarian, I was pleased to see their wide menu of vegan options. As a curry lover, seeing their multiple veggie Katsu Curry options made me so happy. We ordered the Veggie Katsu Curry (with crispy fried veggie eggplant, sweet potato and pumpkin), the stir-fried wok greens (absolutely delicious), Mushroom Bao (pretty good) and the Firecracker Tofu dish. This was my second time and I must say, food quality has gone down a bit and I would have wished for somewhat better service. The restaurant is almost always packed but severely understaffed and as a result, service can be disappointing. The servers are pressed to run from table to table and often don't have the bandwidth to remember that you asked for something, or might want to order something else. Overall, Wagamama is great but I would just hope that the management figures out the staffing issue so they can maintain the amazing food and experience that guests have always enjoyed here.

I came to the restaurant on 24/06/2023. I had a wonderful experience with my daughters. Staff were very attentive, food arrived in great time and was absolutely delicious. After ordering I had seen a manager holding a tray with a Beautiful Glass, When i asked what drink that was to my suprise it was a cocktail. ( positive panchi) to be specific. Absolutely amazing and paired well with my firecracker dish. I will definitely be returning again.

We went to Wagamama wigmore st. When we entered there was no hostess waiting to seat ur and for 10 minutes we and other angry customers waited. I then decided I had had enough and marched over to the nearest waiter for assistance. He slowly and carelessly walked over and told to wait longer and gave all the customers one menu to share. After waiting even more were finally seated and this was only the beginning. We waited for someone to serve us and sat there for 20 excruciatingly long minutes. I walked up to the waiter and begged him to serve us. A woman later came and the following interaction left us speechless. We asked for out food. I asked for no egg in my ramen and when my disabled girlfriend asked for the same thing the waiter paused looked at her in disgust, rolled her eyes and replied with a very cold yes… we had our food and when it was time for dessert, disappointment stuck once again… we asked for the dessert menu, water and some napkins. We witnessed guests who arrived much later prong prioritized with water privileges. Our water arrived late and was aggressively dumped on the table but our napkins and menus were nowhere to be seen. After requesting for the menu four times it had finally come. We decided that we had enough of this and couldn’t take a minute of this shocking service and decided against dessert at this franchise. We asked for the bill, which arrived whilst I was in the W.C., so my poor disabled girlfriend was left to fend for herself against this inept bunch. Upon asking to split the bill, my disabled girlfriend who suffers from sever dyscalculia, dyslexia and autism, had to calculate how to split all by her self. It was an overwhelming experience which arose due to the server’s lack of professionalism and numeracy skills. On the way home, I had to comfort her, as this negatively affected her already very low self esteem. Overall, I was flabbergasted. This franchise has gone down the drain. Our tenth anniversary dinner was ruined due to the ineptitude of this workforce. Going forward, we would recommend you keep a closer eye on your staff and increase your job requirements to not just existing.

I absolutely love coming here! The service is always spot on and the food is fresh and delicious. Gerone has paid attention to all of our requests and has always been amazing everytime I visit! Must go if you’re in the area and want good food

هذي الزيارة الثانية ومازال مستواه في الخدمة بطي والتعاون من الموظفين ضعيف طعم الاكل جيد طلبت الرول كريب للاسف سي وقديم في وقت التحضر كانه من يوم قبل زيارتنا للمطعم جودة الاكل عند التقديم بارد الاسعار مرتفعة نوعًا ما لا اتوقع لي زيارة مره اخرى ولا اوصي بهذا الفرع تحديدًا.

Popped in Wagamama for lunch after a stressful drive and it was the first day of the new menu and WOW. Great team, amazing service from Alex. Great recommendations on the new menu As well! Will definitely be back!

This was one of the worst experiences I have had with Wagamama. I love Wagamama as a company but this service was so so bad. The servers were lovely and the food was great but a short blonde lady was giving me quite racist vibes. She was quite distasteful with me and felt a negative energy towards us as a group of boys.
