Not the best wagamamas out there. Both times I have come, my food has come significantly later than everyone else on the table, the first time they actually forgot it. The food was a bit dry and had less flavour than other Wagamamas I’ve been to. ( I’m usually a big fan!)

Lovely food, very helpful and friendly staff. We had my 20 month granddaughter with us who is vegan and awkward to feed. The waitress, who sadly I can't remember her name! Was so helpful and sourced a vegan fillet for us to give her which she loved. Nothing was too much trouble for her and we all felt very welcome. I had the vegetable katsu curry. All our meals were fabulous and hot. Will definitely visit again

We waited for our meals for more than 40 minutes . We kept asking for our dishes and Every Single Time we were told it wouldn’t take too long. The staff admitted that they need to action first their take away orders AND the meals in the restaurant aren’t their priority. … No apology was enough.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Wagamama and it was an exceptional experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome by Miss Parneet, The food was fantastic, and the outstanding staff truly elevated my visit. I can’t wait to return for another delightful meal!

Went for dinner and our experience was great. Parneet who working at the juice bar made us our drinks which we loved. When we tried one and wanted to change our minds, she was very helpful and gave us advice on what to order instead. She also gave us advice on what to order from the menu. Great service, will be coming back for sure.

Never disappoints,always great food and service. Lovely lunch again yesterday,this time I remembered to take pictures. 12/10/24 Disappointing lunch today,I decided to have chicken katsu curry,it arrived at my table and the disappointeds started,first no salad dressing and the I noticed the chicken no longer runs the whole length under the rice,just pokes out either side of the rice.I asked my wife if I had been given a child’s portion.My wife’s sake soba dish was also much smaller. Wagamamas you need to keep up with your high standards this disappoints. First time without leaving a tip.

The food was immaculate and Giovani was the lovely sever and accommodated for our table full of people.This is an amazing place and i would highly recommend!

Generally I really like Wagamama and had previously given 5 stars. In the restaurant and as a takeaway I've previously been absolutely fine with them. I've now had two occasions where a clearly labelled vegan meal has been delivered as not vegan! There wasn't even a veggie version on the takeaway app. I called the restaurant and got an incredibly disappointing response claiming that on the app there was only a veggie option which is false. When I said this I was told "oh then perhaps the kitchen got confused". So what's the resolution? "You'll just have to claim a refund". Ok so no resolution for tonight because I'm clearly not going to take that chance again. A real shame!

We went during peak lunch hours and had to wait for 5 mins, and the friendly staff gave us the menu while we were waiting. The staff were helpful and gave us suggestions while ordering. The food arrived fairly quickly and was quite delicious. We will potentially visit again!

Decent place with decent food, a lot of memories in this place. The main food dishes are quite good but heavily disappointed with their Gyozas and Baos, not completely filled and gyozas was very dry. The interior is nice and toilet facilities are clean. Would only come here if you fancy it, a lot of better Asian cuisines near the area.

The food was amazing as always. The drinks made by manmeet were really good and nour and Mai made sure the service was top notch.

A bit disappointed as my pad Thai was very tasteless but the bang bang cauliflower was lovely.

Grand parents taking two teenagers and one child for lunch, 03/09/24, bill ref. TBL732/1, CHK2191, 14:34 hrs. Child's meal brought up straight away, but had to wait 15 minutes for the 2 adults meals & another few minutes more for the 2 teenagers. Child insisted in waiting until all the meals were at the table before starting. Complained to the waiter serving us & said I would not be accepting a service charge. Waiter said that in Wagamama, meals are NOT brought up to the table at the same time. That its the way they operate. Senior's "pad thai" too spicy. Won't be going back and did not pay a service charge.

Group of 11 went in food and we were seated straight and food was really good and quick we really good server who was very attentive

Some of the kindest staff I've ever met. They were extrimely patient and helpful. The food was deliverd so fast that it felt like it was made just for me.

We just visited and upon arrival there was an empty table at the window that we wanted to sit at but it was not clean. The waitress who greeted us said that it wasnt clean and wanted go seat us somewhere else. That is when her colleague Izzy stepped in, cleaned the table in 2 seconds and we managed to enjoy our meal by the window. The food was great and Izzy made the evening greater by being so accommodating and it is very clear that she understands hospitality and knows how to win customers. We downloaded the loyalty app and will definitely now be comming regularly! :)

Othniel was an excellect waiter. New menu is good. Atmosphere is good but doesn't wow, which is why I gave it 3/5. Highly recommended for food and service.

Very inconsistent food compared to other branches. Very disappointing

Tried ordering from here on Deliveroo, after an hour and a half still no food. Contacted Deliveroo to cancel order and we were told the manager had refused to cancel despite such a long delay. It was eventually cancelled. But don’t bother ordering from here, it is ALWAYS late and delayed.

The place was quite busy the day we went there. But the food was delicious and service was okay as well given the crowd.

We had a lovely date there. The chilli squid was amazing (10/10), I had suka suka with shredded duck (7/10)

Stopped in for a bite to eat with the family at a busy time so had to wait for 10 minutes… that’s no problem. The service after that was pretty terrible. We got seated but were left without menus for 10 minutes… then we had to flag someone down to order drinks… then again to place the food order… the chap that came to take the order was great though. Just a shame it took so much effort to get the attention of any of the servers. The food was really hit and miss, it looks great but the flavour really isn’t there and the prices have increased whilst the taste has declined. Used to be a favourite but we will look for something else next time.

An impromptu visit for a family dinner after going to the Rose Theatre. First of all I have to say all of the staff were great, very friendly and attentive. Considering there were 7 of us, all of the food & drinks came out in a timely manner. The food itself was very good overall and the chilli squid, Ebi Katsu , Chicken Katsu curry still firm favourites after all these years. Thanks to all the team, you can see how hard they all work. I’d definitely return to this location, a really enjoyable experience.

I love Wagamama but I won't be returning to this branch. My rating is for this branch ONLY as I've eaten at Wagamama many times, in various locations. The tofu raisukaree was very, very bland, it had no fragrance, and certainly not what I've been used to at other Wagamamas, I could hardly taste the coconut and the chilli had zero flavour/spice, the rice was also hard. It was very disappointing. To top it off, while we (2ppl) were still enjoying our conversation, one of us still eating, the waiter came over and interrupted to collect my empty plate. A few mins later, he returned, my sister-in-law still had some food on her plate but had paused for a moment as we were talking, and he asked if she had finished. She hadn't but felt under pressure to give him her plate. I asked if they were short on plates why he was in such a haste to collect them, he said no, that the manager doesn't like to see empty plates on the tables, I said that this plate wasn't empty, although yes, she was almost finished, he apologies and offered to give it back but she just said no. It completely spoilt our time there, and we didn't bother to order more drinks or dessert, which we had planned on doing. Behind us was another table with a family of 4 (inc a child) and he approached them, while they were still enjoying their meal and asked to collect an empty plate, there was another smaller plate, too, that he also reached for and the lady had told him no, that she was still using it to separate the food for the child. We observed this happening continuously at other tables. Very weird. It's not right that you would interrupt people's meals to collect plates. We had only been there 40mins from arriving, ordering, eating. The waiter was friendly and attentive despite this (no issue there) but whatever the reason for being in a rush to collect plates, it had interfered with our experience and enjoyment so much so that we left after paying. We would not eat at this branch again, very bland food, and the interruption and pressure to collect plates spoilt our mood. They could learn something from our local branch near Battersea Power Station. Their raisukaree is exceptional, and they certainly don't rush to clear your plates when you're enjoying your conversation and others in your group are still eating!

I visited the Wagamama Kingston branch on 24th May 2024 with a friend, and the experience was disappointing. I ordered the Chicken Katsu, and my friend ordered noodles. My friend received her dish first, and I had to wait an additional 30 minutes for mine. When my Chicken Katsu finally arrived, it was undercooked, which is extremely concerning. Undercooked chicken can cause serious health issues, and I felt very sick from the taste of the first bite. I asked for a replacement dish without chicken because I was worried about food poisoning. A waiter, who I believe was of Middle Eastern descent (I can tell because I am also from the Middle East), approached not in a nice manner. He claimed that the chicken was cooked using timers, implying indirectly that my complaint was unfounded? His dismissive attitude was unprofessional and unhelpful. I was eventually served prawn noodles, but the quality was very poor. Even the Mushroom Bao I ordered as a starter was also undercooked. After returning home, I spent the rest of the night feeling extremely ill and vomiting. This will be the last time I visit the Kingston branch. I love Wagamama and usually have great experiences, but I recommend going to the Wimbledon location instead. Update: To the manager of Wagamama Kingston Branch, I reported this incident to Kingston Council for suspected poisoning. The most concerning about all this, is your part of your staff being dismissive about the incident that happened.

Decent food, was given fast. Service can be a. It better.

Food was great, very tasty. Service was friendly, had to remind about a 2nd drink order, but they were busy so no stresses. Only wait was for them to clean a table when we arrived and because we can pay via qr code, we didn't have to wait to pay. Non alcoholic cocktails were really refreshing and great accompaniment to the spicey food

Another great lunch at Wagamama, our first time at the Kingston Upon Thames Restaurant. Food and service as always was great even though the restaurant was very busy. We were lucky to get a table so quick as it was half term and full of families.

Went out for dinner with a friend on a Tuesday night. Was looking forward to it until I noticed the amount of flies in the restaurant, not a good sign. We were shown to our table. I opened the menu and immediately saw it was covered in food, which really put me off wanting to eat here. So we didn't order food, just drinks, then when our drinks arrived I was given a dirty glass which had food residue in it!... this place is filthy! How it has a hygiene rating of 5 is beyond me!!!

I had a nice dinner here with family. I enjoyed the ramen with pork belly and some edamame beans. It had a lively atmosphere and fairly efficient service

We were keen to try the new menu and encouraged by the queue to get a table. However, on arriving, the waiting person explained that their IT system wasn't working so there were longer waiting times than usual. We were in no hurry so decided to try it anyway. There was some delay but all the staff were so keen to ensure we had received evrything on our order in good time that we felt properly looked after. It must have been so difficult for them but they couldn't do enough for us. It was a celebration for Mum's 90th so we really wanted it to go well. The food was excellent, too.

Shocking service and food, wagamama Kingston used to be good but I suppose it's all of them now that are just disgusting service. We got our mains before starters, didn't brings drinks even after asking 3 different members of staff just poor really don't waste your money here.

The food is okay, had the grilled chicken ramen, the flavour is basic so ordered sambal to spice it up otherwise would have been quite bland. The duck gyozas are nice. The service was okay they were busy and took a while to seat our group even though seating had opened up. They mixed up one of the orders for in our group with some others customers, which meant they had to make the dish again which meant one person had to wait whilst everyone else was eating.

As an Asian, I cannot understand why people are going here. Foods are not authentic and portions are small. So expensive for the food quality too.

Food lovely as usual. Efficient service but very very noisy fue to strange acoustic. Difficult to yalk when so busy...

I have just had the chicken and prawn Pad Thai delivered, it was simply awful. I found ONLY one small bit of chicken in it and lots, lots of leeks. Will avoid this place for sure.

It’s hit and miss with the staff here. I was served by a very moody waitress who made us wait ages just to order. We ended up calling someone else over as she didn’t seem to care to look our way. Disappointed as I love wagamama.

Very busy when we visited just before Xmas so there was a wait to ne seated. However the staff coped really well and checked on people waiting. Food and service were good.

Stopped by for a quick bite to eat. Fairly standardised food and service. Quick service and in terms of taste ok. The ramen was ok but the broth not flavoursome. The egg was not marinated and essentially just a boiled egg. The katsu curry was ok. The bao buns were a bit soggy. The dessert was nice. If you want authentic don’t come here.. it’s more fusion…for example… I don’t agree with bao buns mixed with Korean flavours.

It's been some time since my last wagamama and I was very much looking forward to it but, sadly, was pretty disappointed.. The food was okay but not great, there was minimal protein with the noodles and the flavours had a blandness that I didn't recall. For the cost (almost £15) I wanted better. It may be another long while before the next visit.

The picture speaks for itself. Always top quality food and always fresh and very reasonably priced. Always look forward to going there..

I was served by Rohan in Kingston branch today. It was a take away order placed in store. Rohan was absolutely amazing as soon as I walked in. I was aproached promptly. Rohan was kind & polite, profesional, patient, took his time to explain the dishes to me with a genuine smile on his face along the way. No question was a trouble for him. I was seated as soon as I placed my order with a drink to wait along. Food arrived before I even finished my aperitive. Credit goes to Rohan, true Gem. Store looked clean and tidy ready for the evening customers. Staff were happy and relaxed. Truly enjoyable atmosphere. Thank you.

We had dinner this evening and one of us couldn’t decide on what to chose from the menu and asked George for advice and he was so pleasant and knew exactly what to recommend and both our meals were perfect. Always appreciate a member of staff that clearly enjoys his work environment and goes out of his way to help out and give advice.

Very busy. We were seated within 10 minutes, but they got the drinks order wrong and had to redo it. Food was good. Quite expensive for five people, but we had a successful meal. Would go there again, just perhaps earlier when they don't have people queueing out the door.

Wagamamas is one of our go-to spots for easy and tasty food. However, the Kingston one has really slipped in its standard. The food is as you would expect, no worse, no better, but the atmosphere is really what has suffered. Our last trip, we were surrounded by flies constantly, and our water glasses had lip marks on the rim and solidified green stuff (presumably old juices) stuck to the inside. We now make sure we only order in from wagamamas or go somewhere in London to eat in. Also, as a side note, I really miss the wagamama ramen. Please bring it back!

We went for a quick dinner on Friday night about 9pm. It was busy but not the busiest I’ve seen it for a weekend. Started off by being told we had to sit on the left side of the restaurant as they had closed the right side however when sat down we saw quite a few people be seated on the right side after us being made to sit on the left. We ordered our food - chilli squid, chicken gyoza, chilli chicken ramen and a chicken raisukaree. The sides were great no issues. When the chicken raisukaree came out the chicken was cold. I had con planned and had returned to lichen and remade - piping hot when it returned. The chilli chicken ramen - the chicken was so tough it couldn’t be cut with a spoon like usual. The chicken was also in huge pieces making it impossible to eat with the cutlery provided. When asked how the food was we said about the ramen, to be returned with well we are very busy. No apology. They did offer to remake but it was nearly 10pm by this point. Most of it was left as it was a chore to eat. When given the bill and was asked again if everything was ok. We said about the ramen again. No offer to remove from the bill just said again we are busy. Im sorry but it doesn’t matter how busy your restaurant is, if you create bad food when busy and blame the business for the poor food then people will Remember this and not come back. It sure had put us off Wagamama and it was a firm favourite in our household.

Very helpful staff when addressing my friends allergies. Always good food in wagas! Price is a little on the edge for me but still a meal I enjoy.

Took my daughter and four of her friends for a post-bowling meal. Food consistently good but friendly service from Magda really made the meal special - we sat separately from the children and she really looked after them and made them feel special. Thank you!

It's one of my favourite restaurants. I love the food and the service.

Two times in a row I was disappointed. First time they introduced new meny and I couldn't eat raw vegetables ( courgette,butternut squash etc) because they are supposed to be cooked well to chew and eat. Second time had Ramen with fried Chicken( all night suffering from diarrhoea) . Previous experiences where actually excellent so not sure did they change chefs or whether something else is going on but avoid if you can

It's a standard Wagamama. Staff rotate frequently, but haven't had any bad experiences yet, over the many years coming here. The food/menu changes a few times a year and it's fairly good all the time. At the moment (for the last few menus) they have increased vegan options, at the cost of reducing vegetarian dishes which I think is a shame.

Standard. Not bad. Pretty dry. Everything came to our table at odd intervals.

All 4 of us had totally different food: (Buddhist, Muslim, Vegetarian & eats anything).Visually appealing & subtle explosions of flavour = delicious

Food was lovely, our waitress wasn't!! She was young and rude. Maybe needs some training in the people skill department. Doesn't matter how good the food is, if the staff are poor it takes away from the experience. We will not be returning.

Absolutely love the firecracker chicken mains and chilli squid starter, green juice is good too. Hubby loves their noodles. So glad we have a wagamamma close by!

I rarely eat out and generally eating out causes me stress as I have coeliacs disease and have to be on a strictly gluten free diet as even a very small amount of gluten makes me unwell for many days. When I arrived, I explained this to Mya and she went and got the gluten free menu and explained that she would get the manager as he had to deal with allergy orders. The manager came very quicky, explained the procedure and that my meal would take slightly longer than my friends to prepare as it was cooked separately. This was really reassuring. Mya was very friendly and efficient and enhanced our enjoyment of the meal. Thank you

After having visited the Trafford Centre branch and having a delicious meal, we decided to visit the Kingston Upon Thames branch after a long journey from Cheshire. Staff were welcoming and pleasant however the food was under par. I ordered chicken ramen and my husband ordered pad Thai. The chicken ramen was basic, the chicken over cooked and in large pieces which was very difficult to consume with chopsticks in a bowl and was tough. The broth was lacklustre and a bit tasteless. My husbands pad Thai looked appetising but was also bland. After enjoying Wagamama elsewhere it was disappointing to have such a poor meal. It was near 10pm and seemed as if it was all winding down although opening times are until 11pm.

I visited Wagamama's Kingston this week and it was such a pleasant experience. The service was amazing and all servers were attentive. We placed our order and within 15 minutes our food was being served. It all tasted amazing and I could not recommend enough how good the Yaki Udon Chicken and Prawn was. Definitely will be going back again!!

It was my first time trying out Wagamama's after being recommended going there by a number of friends and I was not disappointed! The service was immaculate and the food was excellent. We were looked after very well and the staff were very friendly. Thank you for such a lovely experience and I will definitely be back!
