Service was an easy 10/10 the waiter was amazing , such an icon the food 10/10 the atmosphere 10/10 honestly no complaints. Been going Wagamama ever since i was like 6 months old with my mum lol must go in Kingston

Ok for a chain restaurant. Food and service were good.

Food here has gone downhill since our last visit 2 years ago.

Went there yesterday around 4-5pm. Food was okay, but service wasn't the best. All the servers (except Donny) in the restaurant walked back and forth like they're on their way to diffuse an atomic bomb, without looking at the tables. Couldn't reach out to anyone except Donny. Donny was the only friendly and attentive server asking every table how the food was, if we wanted the empty plates taken away and thanks to his service, we had a great time. There were less than 10 tables occupied and the rest of the servers need to be trained on what task to prioritise (we asked for fork and knife and he went on to lay paper mats on empty tables, we had to wait and reached out to Donny again to get the cutlery within seconds).

Great food, felt extremely authentic. The restaurant has an amazing atmosphere, especially recommend the beef ramen and the teriyaki chicken. Service could be a bit better, but otherwise an amazing experience.

I visted your restaurant after my show on Thursday 9th Jan. The waiters that worked around 10am were absolutely excellent in every way. This is the best service I have ever had. Thank you both for being genuine and polite. I was the lady with the glittery skirt.

After waiting with my kids for 15mins in 3⁰ outside, we were told we could only have the table near the door when I asked if I could have another table, clearly available (but not tied up yet). Every other member of staff derived to watch us leave rather than trying to make things right. Decided to leave, shame as the staff on this occasion didn't do any justice to their colleagues in the kitchen, consistently delivering good food.

Wagamama generally was always good, don’t know what happened with the Kingston one, second time was there and second time had really bad experience with rubbish food and staff dunce like. Will not be going back there

our server was harvey and he delivered our food and answered any questions quickly and our food was amazing. we even got free gyoza from the waggas app, and all the service was efficient and food came piping hot!

The service was amazing but the food was gross.The pasta in the ramen was so sloppy and the soup was very smelly the taste was ok but not very good it made me feel sick thats how bad it was and we payed over £100 for one child and two adults.i also found hair in my food.wont be coming here again I don’t recommend from my photo it looks really good but the taster is completely different

A fantastic spot to hang out with friends! The atmosphere was great, and the food was absolutely delicious with plenty of vegan options to choose from. We were served by Parneet, who was amazing and gave us the best dish recommendations. Highly recommend this place for a casual meetup or a night out!

the food was absolutely delicious. i got the kids chicken ramen since i wasn’t that hungry and honestly it was enough to fill me up. the waiters are super friendly however the food did take a while to come but the atmosphere and seating are great.

The best sumptuous food, I had this afternoon with my family. The squids were "the best" I ever had. Perfect portion served with wonderful service. One visiting Kingston never miss out this restaurant

Super mid place. Food is consistently mediocre (but overpriced), service is okay. Theming/ decor is decent enough. The place is really not good when it is at capacity, it is far too noisy/ the acoustics are terrible. I sound super anti-social, but I hate having to share tables with people, cannot have a private conversation. I would not recommend.

It was a lovely experience, I went there with my friend for the first time and I can happily say we will visit again to have more of their dishes. Perfect services and yummy food!

A great place to meet up with friends and have a great meal. The service has varied slightly, but is mostly great. The food is prepared very quickly and is delicious - love the grilled chicken ramen! There is also a huge range of options for different dietary requirements. It is extremely affordable and I will be returning soon!

Not the best wagamamas out there. Both times I have come, my food has come significantly later than everyone else on the table, the first time they actually forgot it. The food was a bit dry and had less flavour than other Wagamamas I’ve been to. ( I’m usually a big fan!)

Lovely food, very helpful and friendly staff. We had my 20 month granddaughter with us who is vegan and awkward to feed. The waitress, who sadly I can't remember her name! Was so helpful and sourced a vegan fillet for us to give her which she loved. Nothing was too much trouble for her and we all felt very welcome. I had the vegetable katsu curry. All our meals were fabulous and hot. Will definitely visit again

We waited for our meals for more than 40 minutes . We kept asking for our dishes and Every Single Time we were told it wouldn’t take too long. The staff admitted that they need to action first their take away orders AND the meals in the restaurant aren’t their priority. … No apology was enough.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Wagamama and it was an exceptional experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome by Miss Parneet, The food was fantastic, and the outstanding staff truly elevated my visit. I can’t wait to return for another delightful meal!

Went for dinner and our experience was great. Parneet who working at the juice bar made us our drinks which we loved. When we tried one and wanted to change our minds, she was very helpful and gave us advice on what to order instead. She also gave us advice on what to order from the menu. Great service, will be coming back for sure.

Never disappoints,always great food and service. Lovely lunch again yesterday,this time I remembered to take pictures. 12/10/24 Disappointing lunch today,I decided to have chicken katsu curry,it arrived at my table and the disappointeds started,first no salad dressing and the I noticed the chicken no longer runs the whole length under the rice,just pokes out either side of the rice.I asked my wife if I had been given a child’s portion.My wife’s sake soba dish was also much smaller. Wagamamas you need to keep up with your high standards this disappoints. First time without leaving a tip.

Generally I really like Wagamama and had previously given 5 stars. In the restaurant and as a takeaway I've previously been absolutely fine with them. I've now had two occasions where a clearly labelled vegan meal has been delivered as not vegan! There wasn't even a veggie version on the takeaway app. I called the restaurant and got an incredibly disappointing response claiming that on the app there was only a veggie option which is false. When I said this I was told "oh then perhaps the kitchen got confused". So what's the resolution? "You'll just have to claim a refund". Ok so no resolution for tonight because I'm clearly not going to take that chance again. A real shame!

The food was immaculate and Giovani was the lovely sever and accommodated for our table full of people.This is an amazing place and i would highly recommend!

We went during peak lunch hours and had to wait for 5 mins, and the friendly staff gave us the menu while we were waiting. The staff were helpful and gave us suggestions while ordering. The food arrived fairly quickly and was quite delicious. We will potentially visit again!

manager anna was absolutely wonderful and very helpful in bending over backwards to help me claim a special offer that was on that day.

Decent place with decent food, a lot of memories in this place. The main food dishes are quite good but heavily disappointed with their Gyozas and Baos, not completely filled and gyozas was very dry. The interior is nice and toilet facilities are clean. Would only come here if you fancy it, a lot of better Asian cuisines near the area.

The food was amazing as always. The drinks made by manmeet were really good and nour and Mai made sure the service was top notch.

A bit disappointed as my pad Thai was very tasteless but the bang bang cauliflower was lovely.

Grand parents taking two teenagers and one child for lunch, 03/09/24, bill ref. TBL732/1, CHK2191, 14:34 hrs. Child's meal brought up straight away, but had to wait 15 minutes for the 2 adults meals & another few minutes more for the 2 teenagers. Child insisted in waiting until all the meals were at the table before starting. Complained to the waiter serving us & said I would not be accepting a service charge. Waiter said that in Wagamama, meals are NOT brought up to the table at the same time. That its the way they operate. Senior's "pad thai" too spicy. Won't be going back and did not pay a service charge.

Group of 11 went in food and we were seated straight and food was really good and quick we really good server who was very attentive

Some of the kindest staff I've ever met. They were extrimely patient and helpful. The food was deliverd so fast that it felt like it was made just for me.

We just visited and upon arrival there was an empty table at the window that we wanted to sit at but it was not clean. The waitress who greeted us said that it wasnt clean and wanted go seat us somewhere else. That is when her colleague Izzy stepped in, cleaned the table in 2 seconds and we managed to enjoy our meal by the window. The food was great and Izzy made the evening greater by being so accommodating and it is very clear that she understands hospitality and knows how to win customers. We downloaded the loyalty app and will definitely now be comming regularly! :)

Othniel was an excellect waiter. New menu is good. Atmosphere is good but doesn't wow, which is why I gave it 3/5. Highly recommended for food and service.

Very inconsistent food compared to other branches. Very disappointing

Tried ordering from here on Deliveroo, after an hour and a half still no food. Contacted Deliveroo to cancel order and we were told the manager had refused to cancel despite such a long delay. It was eventually cancelled. But don’t bother ordering from here, it is ALWAYS late and delayed.

The place was quite busy the day we went there. But the food was delicious and service was okay as well given the crowd.

We had a lovely date there. The chilli squid was amazing (10/10), I had suka suka with shredded duck (7/10)

Stopped in for a bite to eat with the family at a busy time so had to wait for 10 minutes… that’s no problem. The service after that was pretty terrible. We got seated but were left without menus for 10 minutes… then we had to flag someone down to order drinks… then again to place the food order… the chap that came to take the order was great though. Just a shame it took so much effort to get the attention of any of the servers. The food was really hit and miss, it looks great but the flavour really isn’t there and the prices have increased whilst the taste has declined. Used to be a favourite but we will look for something else next time.

An impromptu visit for a family dinner after going to the Rose Theatre. First of all I have to say all of the staff were great, very friendly and attentive. Considering there were 7 of us, all of the food & drinks came out in a timely manner. The food itself was very good overall and the chilli squid, Ebi Katsu , Chicken Katsu curry still firm favourites after all these years. Thanks to all the team, you can see how hard they all work. I’d definitely return to this location, a really enjoyable experience.

I love Wagamama but I won't be returning to this branch. My rating is for this branch ONLY as I've eaten at Wagamama many times, in various locations. The tofu raisukaree was very, very bland, it had no fragrance, and certainly not what I've been used to at other Wagamamas, I could hardly taste the coconut and the chilli had zero flavour/spice, the rice was also hard. It was very disappointing. To top it off, while we (2ppl) were still enjoying our conversation, one of us still eating, the waiter came over and interrupted to collect my empty plate. A few mins later, he returned, my sister-in-law still had some food on her plate but had paused for a moment as we were talking, and he asked if she had finished. She hadn't but felt under pressure to give him her plate. I asked if they were short on plates why he was in such a haste to collect them, he said no, that the manager doesn't like to see empty plates on the tables, I said that this plate wasn't empty, although yes, she was almost finished, he apologies and offered to give it back but she just said no. It completely spoilt our time there, and we didn't bother to order more drinks or dessert, which we had planned on doing. Behind us was another table with a family of 4 (inc a child) and he approached them, while they were still enjoying their meal and asked to collect an empty plate, there was another smaller plate, too, that he also reached for and the lady had told him no, that she was still using it to separate the food for the child. We observed this happening continuously at other tables. Very weird. It's not right that you would interrupt people's meals to collect plates. We had only been there 40mins from arriving, ordering, eating. The waiter was friendly and attentive despite this (no issue there) but whatever the reason for being in a rush to collect plates, it had interfered with our experience and enjoyment so much so that we left after paying. We would not eat at this branch again, very bland food, and the interruption and pressure to collect plates spoilt our mood. They could learn something from our local branch near Battersea Power Station. Their raisukaree is exceptional, and they certainly don't rush to clear your plates when you're enjoying your conversation and others in your group are still eating!

I visited the Wagamama Kingston branch on 24th May 2024 with a friend, and the experience was disappointing. I ordered the Chicken Katsu, and my friend ordered noodles. My friend received her dish first, and I had to wait an additional 30 minutes for mine. When my Chicken Katsu finally arrived, it was undercooked, which is extremely concerning. Undercooked chicken can cause serious health issues, and I felt very sick from the taste of the first bite. I asked for a replacement dish without chicken because I was worried about food poisoning. A waiter, who I believe was of Middle Eastern descent (I can tell because I am also from the Middle East), approached not in a nice manner. He claimed that the chicken was cooked using timers, implying indirectly that my complaint was unfounded? His dismissive attitude was unprofessional and unhelpful. I was eventually served prawn noodles, but the quality was very poor. Even the Mushroom Bao I ordered as a starter was also undercooked. After returning home, I spent the rest of the night feeling extremely ill and vomiting. This will be the last time I visit the Kingston branch. I love Wagamama and usually have great experiences, but I recommend going to the Wimbledon location instead. Update: To the manager of Wagamama Kingston Branch, I reported this incident to Kingston Council for suspected poisoning. The most concerning about all this, is your part of your staff being dismissive about the incident that happened.

Food was great, very tasty. Service was friendly, had to remind about a 2nd drink order, but they were busy so no stresses. Only wait was for them to clean a table when we arrived and because we can pay via qr code, we didn't have to wait to pay. Non alcoholic cocktails were really refreshing and great accompaniment to the spicey food

Another great lunch at Wagamama, our first time at the Kingston Upon Thames Restaurant. Food and service as always was great even though the restaurant was very busy. We were lucky to get a table so quick as it was half term and full of families.

Went out for dinner with a friend on a Tuesday night. Was looking forward to it until I noticed the amount of flies in the restaurant, not a good sign. We were shown to our table. I opened the menu and immediately saw it was covered in food, which really put me off wanting to eat here. So we didn't order food, just drinks, then when our drinks arrived I was given a dirty glass which had food residue in it!... this place is filthy! How it has a hygiene rating of 5 is beyond me!!!

Just don't like the food, although the service was quick and decent
