An excellent lunch at Wagamama Kingston! From the moment we walked in, the service was outstanding. They even found the most comfortable table for my mother, who has knee problems — such thoughtful and kind attention. The food was absolutely delicious — we enjoyed everything. A special thank you to Parneet, who looked after us wonderfully. She was super helpful, kind, attentive and gave us great recommendations for drinks, food and dessert. So hardworking and caring! You can really see the team works well together and there’s a positive atmosphere among them. One uncomfortable moment was when (we believe) the manager or owner arrived. We didn’t like how she spoke to the staff — especially after a worker accidentally dropped a hot plate. Accidents happen, and the team is working very hard. It’s important they’re treated with respect too. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you for a lovely lunch!

The food quality has really gone down hill in Wagamama. It’s sad because there used to be a lot more attention to detail and now the dishes are more expensive, not very tasty, and the vibes of the place - the way it’s set out like a fast food restaurant, but still expects extortionate prices and tips - is really not a nice reflection on where restaurants are going. Also they’ve taken half the vegan options from the menu. Give Wagamama a miss next time.

I’ve been served the smallest portion of pad thai ever! However manager handled the situation very professionally, after had a chat with him I was not even feeling mad or anything. Except this issue everything was delicious as usual.

We ordered from them and received half the size of a normal pad Thai we would usually get.

Horrified. I can not believe the standards of the service that we received even from management, the waiter taking out food was so rude dirty looks looked like he was dragged into work against his will felt like it was a bother to ask for anything no cutlery on any tables took 15 min and to ask the manager 3 times before we received any cutlery he ignored us multiple times no one checked up on us felt as if we where not appreciated, to top it all we heard staff humiliating customers behind there back! I would however like to say that the food was amazing however due to the abismal service we will not be back

The service was not good and not very attentive. All the waiters were not grumpy.

The staff was absolutely lovely which is the reason for the second star. The food on the other hand had very little going for it besides being edible. We ordered the chicken katsu, chicken ramen, beef barbecue buns, edamame, and tama squid. Everything was pretty much flavorless and the katsu curry tasted fresh out of a packet. Despite the curry, the katsu chicken was alright. The spicy sauce on the barbecue buns masked the flavorlessness of everything on it but failed to have its own flavor besides spice. The ramen broth tasted as if the flavor had vacated the building, months ago. The edamame was salted nicely, but had a strange white thing on it which left both of us afraid to continue eating. Finally, the tama squid was perhaps the most appetizing thing, which was because it was very deep fried. Will likely not dine here again sadly. Thank you again to the kind staff and sorry to have to leave such a frank and disparaging review.

Kingston branch, poor service, seafood smelt bad in yaki soba, got diarrhoea when I got back home. We usually eat here but on this ocassion food was horrid. Waiters had to be called as they were not attentive enough.

Shout out to ‘DK’ our server who was happy & helpful throughout. Was clearly busy on a hectic Friday night but made time to provide a super service. Clearly a key member of the team and went above & beyond. Big shout out 🎙️ to DK Food was 10/10

Weird one tonight. 3 of us. 1st was served in the usual Wagamama time scale.....c5 mins after ordering. Remaining 2 waited and waited. Asked waiter to ensure we hadn't been forgotten, then realised there was no food being served. Service simply stopped, for a good 10-15 minutes. Eventually the 2nd of 3 meals arrived. But no sign of the third. Asked the waiter again.......eventually it arrived (approx 30 mins after the first meal was served). No explanation, no apology. Wasn't just us. Table of 3 next door to us had exactly same situation. Very strange

Service was an easy 10/10 the waiter was amazing , such an icon the food 10/10 the atmosphere 10/10 honestly no complaints. Been going Wagamama ever since i was like 6 months old with my mum lol must go in Kingston

Food here has gone downhill since our last visit 2 years ago.

Went there yesterday around 4-5pm. Food was okay, but service wasn't the best. All the servers (except Donny) in the restaurant walked back and forth like they're on their way to diffuse an atomic bomb, without looking at the tables. Couldn't reach out to anyone except Donny. Donny was the only friendly and attentive server asking every table how the food was, if we wanted the empty plates taken away and thanks to his service, we had a great time. There were less than 10 tables occupied and the rest of the servers need to be trained on what task to prioritise (we asked for fork and knife and he went on to lay paper mats on empty tables, we had to wait and reached out to Donny again to get the cutlery within seconds).

Ordered through Deliveroo as a treat for my child after school trip away. The food arrived 3 hours after ordering, was cold and no where near as good as eating in. Never again!

Great food, felt extremely authentic. The restaurant has an amazing atmosphere, especially recommend the beef ramen and the teriyaki chicken. Service could be a bit better, but otherwise an amazing experience.

I visted your restaurant after my show on Thursday 9th Jan. The waiters that worked around 10am were absolutely excellent in every way. This is the best service I have ever had. Thank you both for being genuine and polite. I was the lady with the glittery skirt.

After waiting with my kids for 15mins in 3⁰ outside, we were told we could only have the table near the door when I asked if I could have another table, clearly available (but not tied up yet). Every other member of staff derived to watch us leave rather than trying to make things right. Decided to leave, shame as the staff on this occasion didn't do any justice to their colleagues in the kitchen, consistently delivering good food.

Wagamama generally was always good, don’t know what happened with the Kingston one, second time was there and second time had really bad experience with rubbish food and staff dunce like. Will not be going back there

our server was harvey and he delivered our food and answered any questions quickly and our food was amazing. we even got free gyoza from the waggas app, and all the service was efficient and food came piping hot!

The service was amazing but the food was gross.The pasta in the ramen was so sloppy and the soup was very smelly the taste was ok but not very good it made me feel sick thats how bad it was and we payed over £100 for one child and two adults.i also found hair in my food.wont be coming here again I don’t recommend from my photo it looks really good but the taster is completely different

The best sumptuous food, I had this afternoon with my family. The squids were "the best" I ever had. Perfect portion served with wonderful service. One visiting Kingston never miss out this restaurant

Super mid place. Food is consistently mediocre (but overpriced), service is okay. Theming/ decor is decent enough. The place is really not good when it is at capacity, it is far too noisy/ the acoustics are terrible. I sound super anti-social, but I hate having to share tables with people, cannot have a private conversation. I would not recommend.

It was a lovely experience, I went there with my friend for the first time and I can happily say we will visit again to have more of their dishes. Perfect services and yummy food!

A great place to meet up with friends and have a great meal. The service has varied slightly, but is mostly great. The food is prepared very quickly and is delicious - love the grilled chicken ramen! There is also a huge range of options for different dietary requirements. It is extremely affordable and I will be returning soon!

Not the best wagamamas out there. Both times I have come, my food has come significantly later than everyone else on the table, the first time they actually forgot it. The food was a bit dry and had less flavour than other Wagamamas I’ve been to. ( I’m usually a big fan!)

Lovely food, very helpful and friendly staff. We had my 20 month granddaughter with us who is vegan and awkward to feed. The waitress, who sadly I can't remember her name! Was so helpful and sourced a vegan fillet for us to give her which she loved. Nothing was too much trouble for her and we all felt very welcome. I had the vegetable katsu curry. All our meals were fabulous and hot. Will definitely visit again

We waited for our meals for more than 40 minutes . We kept asking for our dishes and Every Single Time we were told it wouldn’t take too long. The staff admitted that they need to action first their take away orders AND the meals in the restaurant aren’t their priority. … No apology was enough.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Wagamama and it was an exceptional experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome by Miss Parneet, The food was fantastic, and the outstanding staff truly elevated my visit. I can’t wait to return for another delightful meal!

Never disappoints,always great food and service. Lovely lunch again yesterday,this time I remembered to take pictures. 12/10/24 Disappointing lunch today,I decided to have chicken katsu curry,it arrived at my table and the disappointeds started,first no salad dressing and the I noticed the chicken no longer runs the whole length under the rice,just pokes out either side of the rice.I asked my wife if I had been given a child’s portion.My wife’s sake soba dish was also much smaller. Wagamamas you need to keep up with your high standards this disappoints. First time without leaving a tip.

Went for dinner and our experience was great. Parneet who working at the juice bar made us our drinks which we loved. When we tried one and wanted to change our minds, she was very helpful and gave us advice on what to order instead. She also gave us advice on what to order from the menu. Great service, will be coming back for sure.

Generally I really like Wagamama and had previously given 5 stars. In the restaurant and as a takeaway I've previously been absolutely fine with them. I've now had two occasions where a clearly labelled vegan meal has been delivered as not vegan! There wasn't even a veggie version on the takeaway app. I called the restaurant and got an incredibly disappointing response claiming that on the app there was only a veggie option which is false. When I said this I was told "oh then perhaps the kitchen got confused". So what's the resolution? "You'll just have to claim a refund". Ok so no resolution for tonight because I'm clearly not going to take that chance again. A real shame!

We went during peak lunch hours and had to wait for 5 mins, and the friendly staff gave us the menu while we were waiting. The staff were helpful and gave us suggestions while ordering. The food arrived fairly quickly and was quite delicious. We will potentially visit again!

Decent place with decent food, a lot of memories in this place. The main food dishes are quite good but heavily disappointed with their Gyozas and Baos, not completely filled and gyozas was very dry. The interior is nice and toilet facilities are clean. Would only come here if you fancy it, a lot of better Asian cuisines near the area.

The food was amazing as always. The drinks made by manmeet were really good and nour and Mai made sure the service was top notch.

A bit disappointed as my pad Thai was very tasteless but the bang bang cauliflower was lovely.

Grand parents taking two teenagers and one child for lunch, 03/09/24, bill ref. TBL732/1, CHK2191, 14:34 hrs. Child's meal brought up straight away, but had to wait 15 minutes for the 2 adults meals & another few minutes more for the 2 teenagers. Child insisted in waiting until all the meals were at the table before starting. Complained to the waiter serving us & said I would not be accepting a service charge. Waiter said that in Wagamama, meals are NOT brought up to the table at the same time. That its the way they operate. Senior's "pad thai" too spicy. Won't be going back and did not pay a service charge.

Some of the kindest staff I've ever met. They were extrimely patient and helpful. The food was deliverd so fast that it felt like it was made just for me.

We just visited and upon arrival there was an empty table at the window that we wanted to sit at but it was not clean. The waitress who greeted us said that it wasnt clean and wanted go seat us somewhere else. That is when her colleague Izzy stepped in, cleaned the table in 2 seconds and we managed to enjoy our meal by the window. The food was great and Izzy made the evening greater by being so accommodating and it is very clear that she understands hospitality and knows how to win customers. We downloaded the loyalty app and will definitely now be comming regularly! :)

Othniel was an excellect waiter. New menu is good. Atmosphere is good but doesn't wow, which is why I gave it 3/5. Highly recommended for food and service.

Very inconsistent food compared to other branches. Very disappointing

Tried ordering from here on Deliveroo, after an hour and a half still no food. Contacted Deliveroo to cancel order and we were told the manager had refused to cancel despite such a long delay. It was eventually cancelled. But don’t bother ordering from here, it is ALWAYS late and delayed.

The place was quite busy the day we went there. But the food was delicious and service was okay as well given the crowd.

We had a lovely date there. The chilli squid was amazing (10/10), I had suka suka with shredded duck (7/10)
