Wagamama Hammersmith | The Old Fire station in Hammersmith and Fulham

Friendly staffs ever since walked in. Nice ambiance of the restaurant with perfect lighting and plenty of seating area. The drinks are beautiful but taste ordinary. The coconut kare chicken rice we ordered was delicious. The beef tartan noodle didn’t not taste as good as expected, the noodle was a bit soggy, the soup base is fine. The desert fried banana with vanilla ice cream was very good! But overall, all the food portions were tended to little, therefore, the price considered high.

Don’t order Spicy Chicken Ramen

Had a great experience here in the Hammersmith branch thanks to Lana. We were waiting a little longer than usual for one of our mains to come out but she went above and beyond to rectify this. Will certainly return!

Japanese cuisine to fall in love with. It was so good that we ate there three times. Young and very nice staff, we miss a restaurant like this in Switzerland!!!!

I was seated then ignored by staff to take my order…customer service was very poor as there seems to be no order in the restaurant which made my experience here quite unpleasant.

Had a work team lunch here and it was the perfect location for it. Quick service, decent food and drinks, and something for everyone on the menu. I'm not the biggest fan of wagamama, but it really is a brilliant choice for a work lunch.

They have changed the recipe on a couple of things, it's gone slightly bland.

A very large and welcoming place. We ordered 2 ramen and an appetizer. Absolutely fast waiting time compared to the amount of people present. Excellent dishes, quality ingredients (despite being a chain). Convenient value for money.

Love this place, I always come with my family, and love the food, the service and the atmosphere. Elif served us today, she was very smiley, she welcomes people with very nice smile, she’s also very helpful and kind.

Tuve una reunión en la zona y esperaba un almuerzo fresco rápido. ¡La primera vez que vuelvo a esta sucursal en particular después de tragar plástico en el que aún no han vuelto a mí! Llegados, tan palava para usar la aplicación de fidelidad, el personal no parece estar adecuadamente capacitado. Un camarero me dijo que no podía registrarme y que solo podía pagar con la aplicación. Este camarero fue a preguntarle a otro camarero que le dijo “no sé de qué estás hablando” intervine y le sugerí que tal vez me habla directamente y podría explicarle. Pedí mi edamame de comida de cortesía que es una de las recompensas en la aplicación y dije que necesitaba unos minutos más para decidir mi comida principal. Luego me regañaron como a un niño y me dijeron que no podía canjear la recompensa sin comprar un plato principal... ¡mmm lo sabía! Cuando se trataba de pedir lo principal era una prueba para llamar la atención de cualquiera. Circa 2 : 30 pm no hay excusa ya que el restaurante estaba bastante vacío. Saludó a dos miembros del personal, fueron ignorados. Cuando por fin conseguí la atención de la camarera y le expliqué lo que había pasado me dijo “están de descanso”. Consejo principal: asegúrese de que sus mesas estén cubiertas antes de enviar al personal de descanso. Los niveles de servicio han disminuido gravemente en Wagamama. Mis comentarios de la reciente sucursal de Angel siguen sin respuesta. ¡Es hora de que empiece a pensar con los pies y cenar en otro lugar! El edamame estaba empapado y en agua, en el microondas hasta la muerte y aunque el ramen era razonablemente sabroso, ciertamente no era nada especial.

The food was average and the waitress was very rude.

Correct food (even if very very loaded with coriander). On the other hand, the service was rubbish. We waited 20 minutes before our order was taken. Then 15 minutes between each dish. A family of 5 next to us arrived later, and left well before.

The smell in these restaurants is spectacular, and I love the architecture in this repurposed fire station. The food is delicious and the service is brilliant.

Almorcé con mi primo que solo conozco una vez cada dos meses y normalmente intercambiamos cosas que hemos recogido o hecho el uno para el otro. Esta vez, mi primo había hecho para mí sal y pimienta de almendras / anacardos - menos de un minuto después, tuve una camarera joven me dijo que sacara las nueces de la mesa, este era un restaurante sin nueces y el gerente no se impresionaría si él / ella vio que tenía nueces en mí. Lamento mucho que la gente tenga alergias, pero ¿dónde se anuncia que el restaurante está libre de nueces, ya que no hay signos en la puerta, ni en la mesa y también fue la manera en que me habló. Aconsejar a los invitados que están a punto de comer que guarden las pertenencias personales agrió el almuerzo de hoy. También cuando llegamos a pagar, su sistema de pago en línea no estaba funcionando. Por supuesto, no dejé propina. Restaurante muy desalmado y solo vinimos aquí porque Bill estaba lleno. Sí, sé que era una estación de bomberos originalmente, ya que he vivido en la zona durante 60 años.

Arrived, asked for tap water which I received spilling over the table. Waited 25mins, no one came to take order. 3 servers, 3 other customers - very quiet. Staff all look miserable and uninterested. I walked out. Having been a regular over the years, it’s easy to see the decline, but this was truly shocking. Definitely do not recommend and won’t be back.

The guy Rupak was so kindly and friendly

I’ve had some great meals at various Wagamamas around London so went to the Hammersmith branch on Friday and came away very disappointed. Food was a bit bland but ok. The service however was dreadful. Despite not being busy, slow to take our orders, unattentive, we had to ask them for cutlery several times and when we asked them to clear the table they just said ok and then left. Bill took ages to prepare and even longer for us to pay. What a shame as it used to be nice place.

They insisted on me paying online rather than using my card and then when I didn't they tried to make me review the restaurant 5 stars and say the waiters names.

The food is good, but why do you keep changing the menu?

Loved the food Loved the staff It's a different vibe to a normal wahaca, a bit less Mexico more corporate vibe but that's more the building and Soho has the best vibe.. Nothing that can't be added too to get a more rich atmosphere.. Still have the match/chilli seeds which is always a great idea as always It's a new building in Paddington which is great and the set meals are Amazing!!!

We didn't have to wait and the atmosphere was relaxed, although a bit cold, we had to keep our jackets on. The food (veggie tofu ramen and the veggie curry) was ok, but unfortunately the ramen didn't have much in common with classic ramen (extremely lots of coriander, only mushrooms as the only "vegetable" and only 5 small pieces of tofu for £13.5). The curry was a little better. However, I wasn't really thrilled. But the staff was very friendly and ambitious.

Enjoyed our meal at Wagamama, Hammersmith. Went with our kids and everyone enjoyed the meal. First time at Wagamama and will definitely try again. The service and ambience were quite good as well.

I really was always a huge fan of Wagamama. But maybe you should concentrate on service instead of expanding like crazy. The service was understaffed, slow and not able to serve the food all together. When the starters arrive with the dessert, something is wrong. Sorry Wagamama, it was my last visit.

Good food, but like so many other visits to other Wagamama's the service is just poor. I had to wait about 10 minutes to ask for a green tea refill, then ask again 10 minutes later as it still hadn't arrived. What's the point of offering free refills if you don't actually want to serve them? I had the yasai yaki udon which was great. The air con was up really high though so my food went cold very quickly. Something to consider when serving hot food.

Very good food, the setting is very nice because it is an old fire station. Small downsides; - the table at which we were seated was half set (no cutlery / chopsticks / napkins) and we had to help ourselves to what was missing; - rather slow service with few tables occupied, even for drinks; - my dish arrived 10 minutes after my husband's following an error in the kitchen, he had to either eat alone or eat cold, a bit of a shame not to have offered to keep his dish warm... Otherwise the staff was friendly, as was the place and the quality of the products served, hence the 5 stars ⭐️. The spicy broth is very spicy. In photo: chicken ramen, chicken gyoza, chicken ramen kids and chicken noodles kids. Kids friendly; children's menu, coloring, baby chairs available 👍🏻

Good food but poor service. The dishes arrived in no particular order, the last one when the other diners had already finished dinner.

Cleanliness and delays are a concern. I informed the manager about this. I feel sick for discovering this after using my chopsticks, which were on this dirty table. He did nothing….

Standard Wagamama, fast and reliable. Lovely building with nice long tables. We had a lovely waitress who interacted nicely with my 11yo daughter.

I was disappointed by the service: a bit slow, and the chicken katsu curry wasn't great. Used to be better in the past, not sure if recipe changed....

I like wags but this is a really average one… Not enough staff, food slow and kinda cold when reached us. Nice building and restaurant but Yh probably better at Nando’s round the corner…

The worst thing we can say about our experience at Wagamama is that it was Fine. Definitely didn't justify the price and it's hard to know whether to recommend the dishes because they always change. The Korean beef bao was great but it does feel like their latest fad is to put Gochujang in everything. The chicken teriyaki soba was bland while the roti and curry starter tasted too strongly of turmeric - almost like drinking liquid liquorice. The prawn nori was a soggy mess drenched in Gochujang, meaning that the nori was very chewy. Overall, the best item we ordered was the cherry blossom lemonade

🍜 This is my first 3 star review in a very, very long time. Many who follow me here on Google Maps know that I am more of a Google Local Guide for 4 and 5 stars because I really have the right nose with my restaurant and cafe visits + discoveries. I have actually loved Wagamama since I first discovered it in Istanbul @2013. But today in London (Hammersmith) I was unfortunately disappointed. Briefly about the 3 well-deserved stars: One star is for the very nice service, the second star for the very chic location, and the third star because the food tasted first-class as always. Unfortunately, two stars were deducted because of the extra long waiting time at the door, even though “many” tables were free and then one star deducted because we waited a long time for the dishes. I got my food first, but my family (3 other people) waited a whopping 25 minutes just after me. However, what I observed was that the delivery services like Uber Eats etc. were always ahead of us and that it is not okay. The prices were in the upper range and unfortunately we have to experience something like that if you wanted to have a nice dinner with the family. So pity :(

Can't go wrong with a meal at Wagamama. This one is set in the old fire station at Hammersmith and has everything that you would expect from this chain. Great service, great meals, and all reasonably priced.

Wagamama is usually great and also in Hammersmith they don't disappoint. We went on a very cold draughty day and it was a but difficult to find a cosy table

Waited about 15 min for a takeaway, the restaurant had many free tables but too few waiters for the 6pm rush hour. The taste was meh, not very authentic. Ordered the vegan mushroom teppanyaki.

I've been served by Ainhoa wich was the most helpfull lady,the food usually is amazing as. I am sure this time it will be again,buteven if it wasnt just the costumer service i've received its worth coming back. We had what became an 'express' lunch here which was managed by well by Niara, who was attentive and efficient throughout. No fuss; no nonsense about separate bills either which can be awkward but, was handled well and was very much appreciated.

Was looking forward to my wagga meal after not eating much since breakfast. This was the Hammersmith branch which is coolly located in an old fire station. Atmosphere was good albeit the music a tad loud for my ears. Food was excellent again this time crispy squid, chicken gyozas and a plentiful porky broth of sumptuous delight. I felt a couple of extremely minor issues preventing a full excellent rating. I was stood waiting at the entrance a little too long and the broth was slightly greasy, which is likely the fault of the delicious tender pork belly but all in all a good score well earned you lovely wagga people. My obsession continues at home after purchasing the latest Wagamama book and having tried some of the recipes can only describe the experience as like a party in my own mouth and everyone’s invited! We’ll dome all

A lot of vegan options, this is the first time my young picky eaters ate the whole plate and asked for more. The vegan bun is perfect.

It was Sunday evening and I was suprised it wasnt that busy so us 8 people had a wonderful time as we could take our time for drinks and ordering food. Food was great 😋 Good service aswell. Definitely recommend this restaurant for the food and drinks whenever it is available.

We love Wagamamma's food - it's delicious and not too expensive. Service is a bit slow during the dinner time - e.g. my partner received her plate a good 10 minutes after mine arrived. Although it wasn't too crowded, a loud group of guests made the whole experience a little less enjoyable. The acoustics of the place didn't help the problem either.

Wagamama ist immer eine gute Möglichkeit zu essen wenn man asiatisch mag. Super freundliches Personal, schneller Service. Meine Tochter bekam sogar ein Stück Kuchen aufs Haus weil sie Geburtstag hatte…

What truly made this dining experience exceptional was the excellent service provided by Rupak, our server for the evening. Rupak's friendly demeanor and attentiveness was second to none. He took the time to explain the menu in detail, offering insightful recommendations based on our preferences. It's clear he works very hard! Throughout the meal, he ensured that we were well taken care of and made sure our dining experience was faultless. Rupak's genuine passion for the restaurant and its food truly shone through, making us feel like valued guests. I have been to many wagamamas but was disappointed with this one. I ordered a pad Thai and although it tasted fresh, it wasn't seasoned properly. The venue is spacious and the waiters were nice.

Went at around 14:30 on a Wednesday, restaurant was virtually empty. Service OK, but a mistake made on our order which was quickly remedied.

Absolutely horrible experience! Food was okay drinks took a little while to be brought to our table even though restaurant wasn’t busy they was just having chats with each other managers are very disrespectful towards employees we witnessed them trying to force one person to do sampling if I’m correct which they declined then few minutes later we saw them have to leave very unprofessional and a lot of injustice.

I had vegetarian katsu curry. Not good curry like gravy not at all what I would have imagined. It also didn't taste good at all. We ate at another yesterday and had another dish vegetarian with mushrooms and rice noodles it was good.

Customer service here was good. They take dietary restrictions very seriously. The vegan pad thai with tofu, while fresh was bland and had to douse it with soya sauce.

Passing close with wife, we just sat and had a very good dinner, with an excellent service, really appreciated this place

Had a great meal here - service excellent, staff all pleasant & excellent food which was good value especially for London. Sublime gin, ginger & lychee martini - that alone is worth a return visit!

日本食を提供しているように思われているが、あれは日本食ではない。メニューは日本食名にしているけれども、英語の説明書きを読まないと何を提供しているかもわからない。シェフも日本人ではなかった。チェーン店であちこちにあるけど、あれが日本食だと勘違いされたらとても残念に感じました。

Deze vestiging van Wagamama is bijzonder mooi. Het is een heel mooi opgefrist pand dat toch het karakter behoud. Het is heel ruim binnen. Het eten was goed en werd vrij snel klaargemaakt. Het duurde even voordat we ons drinken kregen en ook bij de betaling was het een tijd wachten. Over het algemeen heel aangenaan. Opgelet, mensen met rugproblemen vragen best een tafel waar er rugleuning is. De meeste tafels hebben banken zonder rugleuning.

This is the perfect place to grab some chow if you are in Hammersmith especially before a night at the Apollo. Just across the road from the tube station. Service was fantastic food was amazing and overall I'd definitely go back.

Great food, good portions, great price especially as is in London! The staff were great: accommodating the 12 of us quickly and easily, explaining re they were busy (but didn't have to wait long) and meals would come out separately (but weren't far apart), explaining the new App option for paying and enabling people to pay separately and in different ways. Highly recommend.
