I was here last night 13 Oct with my sister, the food was good but I have to say the only waiter/cashier had to serve and please lots of ppl. The thing that disturbed me was that he tried to deny the buffet formula specified on the menu, tried to make ppl pay for every piece on it. He did that to us and other ppl, few ppl had the buffet menu after insisting many times. Anyway I do not suggest it because it looks like he’s alone cause he wants too, making the service too slow and messy. Bye.

I was not sure what to expect when I was driving to Shepherds Bush for a Sushi east as much as you like for a fixed price. Well I was happily surprised with the simple venue the very welcoming team serving and the great food. I love my sushi and it was open all day Sunday (so no rush), I thought this place was good value with really fresh and tasty food. Its worth a visit, better to go with a crowd and have fun, but hey I was interested in a lazy Sunday with some great food.

I’ve been there with some friends and we opted for the buffet all you can eat and we had really nice sushi and also you can choose some of the typical Japanese plates like yakitori! I’ll definitely come back.

My partner and I hit up Mr Sushi at least twice a month for the all you can eat deal. You can have your choice of sushi for £18.90- works out at £20 with service included. The sushi is well made and fresh. Would definitely recommend the spicy edamame and the duck and cucumber sushi. We have been visiting for over 12 months now and will continue to go!!

the delivery was late for 20 mins, I tried contacting the restaurant when it was 10 mins late already. But they told me that they were busy earlier and the driver should be with me shortly. I placed my order at 9:30pm and it arrived at 10:50pm which is a longer delivery I have ever get. I am a bit disappoint with the food i chose, 2 x seafood special soup noodles which did not specify that the seafood would come in deep fried breadcrumbs. I think the restaurant need to work on adding description on the menu. The noodle was very soggy even though the soup was stored separately. The sushi was a bit warm when arrived as all of the food was tight and stored together. I am really disappointed with the money I paid for and the poor food quality received.

Stanchi dopo un giro in centro Londra, decidiamo di cenare in questo Mr. Sushi. Nome immeritato dato che il sushi non era per niente buono, di dimensioni giganti solo perché fatto per il 98% di riso. Abbiamo scelto il menù all you can eat e provato vari piatti, quasi nessuno di nostro gradimento: evitate la tempura piena d'olio e anche il riso con il pollo ( una cotoletta con uno strano simil ketchup). Spesa eccessiva per la qualità del cibo.

Fui a este restaurante un par de veces a pesar del servicio. La comida es muy buena y con precios muy razonables. El sushi está bien hecha con pescado muy fresco (y no ponen más arroz luego de pescado como en la mayoría de los sitios de sushi). También tuve ramen y sopa miso un par de veces. Recomiendo a todos ellos.

Frozen, and dull. Wet and weird rice with clumpy odd bits of vegetables shoved into a tasteless sauce. Springs rolls were on the low side being rather soft and mushy. Udon noodle soup was decent. Extremely over priced :(

La calidad de la comida no es buena, pero tienen un gran problema con su personal. La chica ha sido tan grosero como de costumbre, no viene a recibirnos y ni siquiera mirar en absoluto. Cuando pedimos una mesa ni siquiera hablan pero usó sus dedos para una mesa. Le pedimos amablemente para conseguir el papel en el orden todo lo que puedas comer y en ese momento ella dijo que la oferta es de 5:00 a 10:00 horas (la última vez que hemos estado allí nos dijo que era hasta las 9 pm). Hemos estado varias veces allí en el almuerzo y siempre fue, como lo indicó a ella y ella dijo que cambiaron sus normas" la semana pasada. Nada en su sitio web o fuera del restaurante escribieron tal regla, en realidad todavía tienen una publicidad con dosel para todo lo que pueda comer todo el día. I have eaten here about once a month for the last three years - lunch and dinner (no difference menu-wise).Stick to the basic ingredients (tuna, salmon, prawns) where you know there will be a high turnover ensuring freshness and you will be surprised at the value for money you are getting. Given the Japanese obsession with cleanliness the restaurant itself maybe leaves a little to be desired, but the value for money makes up for the slightly tacky surroundings.

We were staying in Earls court so wanted somewhere we could walk to and my daughter had been there before. The sushi was very good we ate tonnes and enjoyed the food. The service was OK just not great, however the food arrived quickly, correctly and tasted lovely. The place just had no ambience for a Japanese resturant, it's more like a takeout place with a few tables.

At best the service was indifferent and at worst it was rude, grumpy and neglectful. We love sushi so went for the sushi buffet. This came with certain rules, like how many pieces you could order at a time and not being allowed to leave any sushi if you wanted to order more. At first this seemed completely reasonable and a good measure to avoid waste. However, in reality this meant that we waited for ages in between orders (with the waitress actively ignoring us) and fish stacked on so much rice that it actually did a real disservice to what were decent cuts of fish. We chipped away at some of the rice to actually try any enjoy the sushi, went to reorder and were told that we would have to finish all the rice if we wanted more sushi - taking the above rules literally this is understandable, but from previous experience the concern is with wasting fish, not a bit of rice. Though in this sense understandable, as mentioned this is simply a shame for the sushi as, eaten as prepared, the taste of fish would have been completely lost in the masses of rice. Ultimately don't offer buffet if you're going to resent it.

Firstly I have to agree with other reviewers that the service here is lacking. It's not necessarily poor from a neglect of customers point of view it's just that the staff seem really unhappy bordering unfriendly ... it's very strange. The decor inside is also pretty tired looking. Having mentioned the service I can now say that I actually really like the sushi from here, the salmon for me has been consistently good. The maki are well made and the nigiri and sashimi are a good size.Because of the service and decor I find it hard to recommend eating here although for a quick meal of decent sushi with the right expectations it's probably fine. What I can recommend is Mr Sushi for take away or even better, delivery!

Order has an hour late, we had to call the restaurant and were promised within 30 min. That never happened, called again and were told 10 min. Didn't happen. Eventually it turned up, an hour late. Sushi wasn't good at all. And I'm not saying this just because I was angry about the delivery time. It was bland. I know this place can do better as I've ordered from here before. This time.. First of all, the good is decent. It isn't worth travelling to eat here since there is comparable quality for cheaper elsewhere, but there's no huge problems here.I ate lunch (while the place was empty) and hoped to stay until regular closing time. The door says Lunch Specials are available until 3:00. But at 2:20, after paying, the waitress set the table WHILE I WAS SITTING there! And then, after standing near my table for a minute or so, she rudely implied for me to leave by asking "anything else?!" It's incredible, if you hate your job so much that you want to literally force your only customer out 30 minutes before closing, you can less customers.Worst service I have ever had. Would rather get into an argument over hair in my food.

I previously reviewed Mr Sushi back in July 2015 and ate here frequency since then - all visits were positive.We came here today as part of my mother's birthday celebrations - we were a group of three adults and a toddler. Unfortunately, our visit today would be our last. The £18.80 "all you can eat" is no longer value for money as they have become more restrictive in the way you order. The portions were smaller and many items on their all you can eat menu have been crossed out.The devalued experience was made even worse by a new waitress who carried a hostile attitude from the moment we sat down. The common courtesy that one would expect in a restaurant was lacking; dismissive responses to questions, condescending warnings that we would be charged if we weren't able to finish our food. The line was crossed when the waitress had the audacity to shout at my two year old nephew from across the room when he was simply playing with his high chair. I admit my nephew was making quite a racket but the way it was handled was extremely unprofessional.We wanted to speak to the manager but unfortunately the horrible waitress was the only employee on the restaurant floor. It was sad that we were unable to come to a positive resolution and the whole incident ruined my mother's birthday. Never again.

Mr Sushi is not the absolute best Japanese in London, but it is good value for money. We eat here fairly frequently and have always found the food good and the service friendly if sometimes a little slow. This time around we had sushi bento boxes which were very nice and excellent value at £8:50.

ロンドンの味に飽きてなんなら苛々してきたときに入りました。最初は間違った日本食を訂正するくらいの気持ちでしたが、、、本当に日本の味がちゃんとついていて美味しかったです。Katsudonに鶏肉が使われていて、ご飯との間には玉ねぎだけでなくパプリカなども敷かれていたりと、本物ではないにしろ、とにかく美味しかったです。Tokyoロールは東京感ゼロでしたがこれまた美味しかったです。

We decide to have our new year's eve dinner here, we were a group of 8 people. We decide to go with the buffet option all you can eat for £18.80. First to say "IT IS NOT all you can eat", as the food really takes ages to come, we wait an 1 and a half hours to get the whole first order. The food was average, not amazing but not bad. Tempura was a bit oily and chewy. The worst is that the staff doesn't really help you and when we ask very politely to get the food faster, the waitress was almost irritated from our request. At the end my appetite was gone and I end not eating much. When at the end we ask for the bill, we see there was 10% service charge so we ask to remove it. I've been told from the waitress something that I've never ever heard in hospitality history, which is that if I wasn't going to pay the service charge I wasn't welcome to come back next time. I suggest the owner to retrain the staff on how to deal with costumers, and how to be courteous and polite. P.s: there was no electricity in both gents and ladies loos!

Low quality raw fish - not something you ever want to encounter. Unlike with normal sushi - where only the highest quality and freshest fish is used - most of the sushi and sashimi dishes had a strong fishy smell and taste. Squid and prawns were rubbery, salmon The £17 sushi buffet would only be worthwhile if the sushi were pleasant to eat, which it isn't.Still, it was the service that was by far the worst part. The only three waiting staff sat at the back chatting to each other in Chinese for the whole 2 hours that we sat there, completely ignoring anybody who didn't wave or shout at them like a mad person.Go somewhere else.

Quality-price it's okay.Don't go for fancy staff:noodles and basic sushi is not bad. Staff like vegetable tempura is disappointing. The place was smelling a bit too much.I wouldn't recommend this place but if you are in sheperd bush and itsu is closed this is your option.

Went here as a table of eight and had a fantastic evening. Good service and delicious food. The tempura was really light and not greasy at all, the tuna sashimi was the star of the show, the cooked sea bream seriously good. Maybe not the cheapest, but worth the price for sure. Want to go back and try more of the yakitori options.

Correct food (even if very very loaded with coriander). On the other hand, the service was rubbish. We waited 20 minutes before our order was taken. Then 15 minutes between each dish. A family of 5 next to us arrived later, and left well before.

I cannot comment on the quality of the food because the service was so appalling that it overshadowed the entire experience. We had made a booking, and the restaurant confirmed it, instructing us to arrive on time. In fact, we arrived five minutes early. However, the staff were extremely busy, so we patiently waited outside the entrance, assuming someone would greet us shortly. When a staff member finally came over, we were shocked to be told there were no tables available. They suggested we either cram five people into a four-person table or leave. Perplexed, we asked why there was no table for us despite having booked in advance. The staff bluntly replied, “You were two minutes late.” We tried explaining that we had been waiting outside for five minutes because no one came to assist us, but the response was even more infuriating. “Sorry, there’s no table available. Take it or leave it,” they said dismissively. This rude and dismissive attitude left us speechless. It’s truly astonishing to encounter such poor service nowadays. Regardless of how good the food might be, such behavior is unacceptable. I certainly wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
