It was a terrible and unusual experience from Wagamama. Since my kids love the Wagamama food we visit 15-20 times a year. The stuff was great and seated us quickly as soon as possible. But; Firstly, I had food poisoning from pad Thai chicken, had headache and diarrhoea 4-5 hours after the meal. I think the taste of food was also so different. Secondly, there was not any soap in the men’s room. One of the soap dispanser was missing and second one was empty. Thirdly, kids gutted because one of the chicken katsu in the table was almost half big then other. My kids always order same menu. Fourthly, soul club app did not allow my wife to pay splitted bill and we needed to wait and pay it remaining balance from terminal. Lastly, branch assistant manager promised to call me today and I received this email at the end of the day. No one called me all day. This is my first Wagamama complaint or feedback and I’m in shock with the experience journey so far.

I was served Pasan and Jay. Pasan provided exemplar service throughout my whole service. Jay on the other hand I witnessed raising his voice at some two young ladies, also using inappropriate towards his fellow staff. I don’t know if this is the norm here but I don’t expect such an environment when i am coming to eat. He was nice overall but I just think some things can be tweaked

I don’t know why but Wagamama has grown more and more EXPENSIVE! I used to really enjoy eating at Wagamama and remember the price of dishes were always very reasonable for fast but good quality dining. Now the prices have crept higher and higher, it’s priced as if I’m dining at a higher end restaurant where the pace and atmosphere would match the expense. But Wagamama isn’t that kind of restaurant. It never was. So why is it now charging so much. It’s almost a tenner just for a starter of chilli squid now!!! That used to be half that price. If you want a main and a starter and a drink you’re paying over £30 now, not £20 anymore, and you’re still in a fast dining space. Not a comfortable take your time place.

Despite receiving three dishes, they forgot about the fourth one. We waited another 15 minutes for them - this situation completely ruins the quality of service.

Had to chivvy a bit to get order taken as we had short time before theatre. Good fresh food in clean restaurant. Place is huge but feels intimate despite many tiles Longbridge and shared. They were good with children in family groups and find space for pushchairs. Also helpful with GF food

I enjoy visiting Wagamama, but my experience with the food can be hit or miss. Sometimes the dishes are fantastic, but other times they don't quite hit the mark. The service and atmosphere are consistently good, with friendly and attentive staff. However, the prices feel a bit high for a chain like Wagamama, and I think they should reconsider their pricing. If they can improve the consistency of the food and address the pricing, it would greatly enhance the overall experience.

Some veg tasted off and the tteokbokki is nothing like the type at Korean restaurants) 3.) vegan yaki soba yasai | mushroom with rice noodles: rice noodles cooked with mushrooms. peppers. beansprouts. white + spring onion. crispy fried onions. pickled ginger. sesame seeds (541 kcal) (got vegan version without egg). (7/10) (the most ok dish of the night, but portion size is tiny when choosing rice noodles compared to udon noodles). To be fair, I’ve had better experiences eating the curry rice or curry noodle here. Just got unlucky trying these dishes. Service & atmosphere is great.

Found a hair in my dish. Not that this is such a big deal I guess. Trying to be a grown up about it. Can happen. But it’s more the reaction of the staff when I’ve mentioned it. The waitress asked me to put it on the side. And then asked me if I wanted a new plate … Wow. No apologies and you wouldn’t offer me a new plate straight away ? So weird … Then I was expecting a gesture at the end. Nothing. I was so over it I didn’t even argue the tip. Definitely should have asked for it to be removed. But I was so shocked by the sense of not caring at all that I just didn’t bother paid and left.

I was very satisfied by my order. It was a bit full thus we have waited for the food to arrive, but it was very tasty. Here I have tried for the first time bao buns and I fell in love they were so tasty (I don't know how I lived util now without bao buns) I also had a salad with salmon which was good as well. Overall a nice experience and good food.

I’ve been a loyal Wagamama customer for over a decade, but sadly, they are no longer what they used to be. The new menu is a disappointment, especially the Pad Thai, which lacks the original flavor and quality. Portions have also decreased drastically—this was the first time I left Wagamama still feeling hungry. The service was mediocre, with my dish needing to be redone due to a miscommunication between staff members. It’s disappointing to say, but I won’t be returning.

Drinks we ordered Large High Five & Tropicsl juice which was great. My son ordered Chicken Ramen which was okay nothing to shout about and I ordered for tantanmen beef which was totally tasteless. I would have been better off getting a packet of Ramen from the Chinese shop and added shredded beef which would have cost me less than £5. At around 8.30pm the place looked pretty empty and the waitress was a bit reluctant to give the corner table as she had to clean it. The waiter spilled the Ramen on the floor when he got to our table. Later another waitress very kindly offered us water towards the end of our meal.🤩 Just before making payment I trying to draw attention but they were too busy in a group chat😒

We (table of 4) visited for some much needed food and drinks on the 7th September. After waiting in the queue to be seated, we were welcomed and were served speedily and efficiently by Elisa. I had an extremely disappointing experience at Wagamama, and the manager's (JACK was the manager at that time ) rude behavior was the worst part. Instead of being welcoming, the manager was outright dismissive and disrespectful, not just to us but also to two delivery drivers waiting for orders. When I politely asked about our food, the manager snapped at us like we were a bother. Meanwhile, the way they treated the drivers was completely unacceptable—speaking to them in an unprofessional and condescending tone. It created a really tense, uncomfortable atmosphere. This is not the level of service I expect from Wagamama, and I won't be returning if this is how customers and others are treated. I also added photo of the staff and manager.

One of the best Wagamama Japanese restaurants in London with superb location. Busy Resturant with fast and wonderful service. I tried almost all the dishes and at this location there’s consistently with perfect taste. I still love the chilli squid, so unique and yummy. Perfect juice with my salmon Yaki soba dish. All dishes are prepared with care and wonderful presentation. I would recommend the place @ this location 100%.

I recently visited the Wagamama branch on Great Marlborough Street and, unfortunately, had a very disappointing experience compared to other branches I’ve been to. Firstly, there was a mix-up with our order. We received the wrong dish, and when we brought this to the manager’s attention, he simply stated that the waiter had made a mistake. However, he did not offer to replace the dish with the correct one, which was quite frustrating. Additionally, the service was extremely slow. We had to ask for water four times before it was finally brought to our table. This level of service is not what I have come to expect from Wagamama, as other branches usually provide prompt and attentive service. To top it off, the food quality was below par. The dishes lacked the usual freshness and flavor that Wagamama is known for. Overall, this visit was a letdown, and I hope the senior management takes steps to improve both the service and food quality at this location.

The staff were lovely, but despite ordering and chasing up I never got my food and was sat there for almost 40 minutes. I was initially seated and I ordered, and turns out it never went through on the system - which would be fine, if somebody clocked it sooner. I asked about 20 mins in and was told it was ready and just coming, but it wasn't. I eventually said I had to leave as I had an appointment. The staff were very apologetic which I appreciated, but kind of a bummer that I was sat there like a lemon for so long.

Avoid like the plague if you have allergies! Not very busy but I sat for long enough waiting for a server to wonder whether I'd misheard about someone coming to take my order and Googled whether I needed to go to the counter to order. Eventually the table next to me managed to flag someone down, and he sat on my table while he took their payment. He realised I hadn't ordered so offered to take my order. I explained that I have complex allergies and asked whether this would be okay and was cheerfully told yes, no problem. He took my drink order and got confused when I asked about what was in one of the dishes. I asked whether the recipe had changed in the last couple of years, as I've been to Wagamama before but not for a while following a bad experience. He confirmed that it had changed, so I asked him to cancel my drink order as I wanted to leave. By the time I'd got my book in my bag I had a manager and the drink I'd asked not to have. The manager cheerfully explained that they only cater to the fourteen main allergens and therefore couldn't advise on anything else. He seemed genuinely surprised that I still wanted to leave, and was still trying to take my food order as I paid for the drink that I had asked not to have and wouldn't be drinking. I walked out fuming, £5 worse off, as he continued to smile at me as though I'd enjoyed my meal. Never, ever again.

Went there for lunch, I was quickly seated at the front window but it took 10+ minutes for a waitress to pass by so I could order. The lady next to me waited about 15 minutes?! The place was mostly empty so I would encourage the person placing people to speak to the person taking orders, to ensure good service… Chicken pad thai and a beer, the food was good. Food tastes so average but is rather expensive. The service was very weak, a lot of things were mixed up and brought at random times, but the forgotten items were on the house, so a plus point. The ambience was still rather too loud and not that comfortable.

I cannot recommend the sushi here highly enough and wish I could've left a 5* star review. Unfortunately, the service and ambience prevented that. The staff seemed unengaged, bored, and miserable, which sadly took the wind out of the whole occasion. We all have bad days, but if you work in a public-facing job, you should greet all customers with a smile and certain energy or find another role. The service certainly didn't fit with the quality of food. Also, the atmosphere was a bit weird, I think because of the negative energy from staff, and lack of lighting. The toilets weren't filthy but definitely sub-par & needing attention, both in terms of cleaning and maintenance. I fully intend go back though, but perhaps under the influence of alcohol in order to be less sensitive to the other elements.

Very good Tonkutsu ramen with a fairly thick and slightly salty broth. Good and fine noodles, the meat is in quantity and you can configure your ramen a little with toppings and extras. On the negative: I didn't particularly like the onigiri and the prices can be a little high. I still highly recommend because the ramen alone is worth it.

In Victoria: They are too many people on shift for something to go wrong…. It is not acceptable and very unprofessional to wait for a salad for 20+ minutes. And when it arrives, then being completely disappointed as the fresh organic greens had nothing to do with Japanese food with slices of bad tasting tuna on top. The staff obviously did not understand that we were completely unsatisfied with the service. And did not do anything to assure us this is not the normal service, nor the normal way to treat guests. As a former waitress I wouldn’t go back as it took to long for a basic salad I could make myself in 5 minutes and also you never tell the guests that they had to wait because you had a rush of two tables coming in…. The service, price and food quality does not add up.
