the experience was amazing, the food was so quick as always and so yummy but the best part of this experience that made it stand out was the waiter. his name was george. i hope he sees this as he was the nicest, best, friendliest waiter i have ever had and i hope i have him again i will come back to this wagamama just to hopefully have him again. 5 STARS george thank you

The food wasn't bad but the service was terrible, asked for cutlery three times and received nothing. In addition, I was pressured to leave a tip even though the service was non-existent. Absolutely not recommended!

Found a hair in my dish. Not that this is such a big deal I guess. Trying to be a grown up about it. Can happen. But it’s more the reaction of the staff when I’ve mentioned it. The waitress asked me to put it on the side. And then asked me if I wanted a new plate … Wow. No apologies and you wouldn’t offer me a new plate straight away ? So weird … Then I was expecting a gesture at the end. Nothing. I was so over it I didn’t even argue the tip. Definitely should have asked for it to be removed. But I was so shocked by the sense of not caring at all that I just didn’t bother paid and left.

This might sound dramatic, but this is one of my favourite restaurants. After work, wanting some delicious comfort food I always come back to here! The open kitchen and general good vibes from the staff is very welcomed! Tonight, I was brought to the table by a really nice waiter and when ordering mentioned he was new, such a hospitality waiter and manger!

Portion sizes have reduced so much now in Wags. Prices shot up though. I think I’ll give them a miss and check out the competition

I was very satisfied by my order. It was a bit full thus we have waited for the food to arrive, but it was very tasty. Here I have tried for the first time bao buns and I fell in love they were so tasty (I don't know how I lived util now without bao buns) I also had a salad with salmon which was good as well. Overall a nice experience and good food.

I waited for 45 minutes for my food and when I asked where it was, they apologised and said they hadn’t put the order through.

I’ve been a loyal Wagamama customer for over a decade, but sadly, they are no longer what they used to be. The new menu is a disappointment, especially the Pad Thai, which lacks the original flavor and quality. Portions have also decreased drastically—this was the first time I left Wagamama still feeling hungry. The service was mediocre, with my dish needing to be redone due to a miscommunication between staff members. It’s disappointing to say, but I won’t be returning.

Drinks we ordered Large High Five & Tropicsl juice which was great. My son ordered Chicken Ramen which was okay nothing to shout about and I ordered for tantanmen beef which was totally tasteless. I would have been better off getting a packet of Ramen from the Chinese shop and added shredded beef which would have cost me less than £5. At around 8.30pm the place looked pretty empty and the waitress was a bit reluctant to give the corner table as she had to clean it. The waiter spilled the Ramen on the floor when he got to our table. Later another waitress very kindly offered us water towards the end of our meal.🤩 Just before making payment I trying to draw attention but they were too busy in a group chat😒

Jack manager is very rude ,not deserve to be there

We (table of 4) visited for some much needed food and drinks on the 7th September. After waiting in the queue to be seated, we were welcomed and were served speedily and efficiently by Elisa. Food was great and drinks were so refreshing after a warm day in town. Even though it was so busy with people going to the theatre, everyone including us seemed to get the best service! Our questions about dietary preferences were managed well too! Thank you guys!

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Wagamama, and the manager's (JACK was the manager at that time ) rude behavior was the worst part. Instead of being welcoming, the manager was outright dismissive and disrespectful, not just to us but also to two delivery drivers waiting for orders. When I politely asked about our food, the manager snapped at us like we were a bother. Meanwhile, the way they treated the drivers was completely unacceptable—speaking to them in an unprofessional and condescending tone. It created a really tense, uncomfortable atmosphere. This is not the level of service I expect from Wagamama, and I won't be returning if this is how customers and others are treated. I also added photo of the staff and manager.

One of the best Wagamama Japanese restaurants in London with superb location. Busy Resturant with fast and wonderful service. I tried almost all the dishes and at this location there’s consistently with perfect taste. I still love the chilli squid, so unique and yummy. Perfect juice with my salmon Yaki soba dish. All dishes are prepared with care and wonderful presentation. I would recommend the place @ this location 100%.

I recently visited the Wagamama branch on Great Marlborough Street and, unfortunately, had a very disappointing experience compared to other branches I’ve been to. However, he did not offer to replace the dish with the correct one, which was quite frustrating. Additionally, the service was extremely slow. We had to ask for water four times before it was finally brought to our table. This level of service is not what I have come to expect from Wagamama, as other branches usually provide prompt and attentive service. To top it off, the food quality was below par. The dishes lacked the usual freshness and flavor that Wagamama is known for. Overall, this visit was a letdown, and I hope the senior management takes steps to improve both the service and food quality at this location.

We always like to eat at this restaurant at least once or twice in our visit to London or Gatwick airport.

The staff were lovely, but despite ordering and chasing up I never got my food and was sat there for almost 40 minutes. I was initially seated and I ordered, and turns out it never went through on the system - which would be fine, if somebody clocked it sooner. I asked about 20 mins in and was told it was ready and just coming, but it wasn't. I eventually said I had to leave as I had an appointment. The staff were very apologetic which I appreciated, but kind of a bummer that I was sat there like a lemon for so long.

This restaurant is conveniently located near Oxford Circus, the Lindon Palladium and the very many shops in the area. The service was fast, and the food was tasty.

Came in yesterday and was served by George and Sara or Shara? (can’t remember how to spell it!!) she assisted in taking my order and ensured the food wasn’t brought all at once. Very friendly Kava was polite also!!!

Had a lovely meal with my friend as it was our driest time trying this restaurant we asked our waitress (Jaylin) for recommendations - they were banging! She was so polite and always stopped whatever she was doing to make sure we were ok and had everything. The girl at the door was very polite too! Had a lovely experience

Haven’t been back for many many years. Food was horrible. The sauces were not authentic, the quality of meats and noodles were poor. Chicken was overcooked, gyoza was lukewarm and the dipping sauce was sour but not sweet enough. Nothing tasted right.

Avoid like the plague if you have allergies! Not very busy but I sat for long enough waiting for a server to wonder whether I'd misheard about someone coming to take my order and Googled whether I needed to go to the counter to order. Eventually the table next to me managed to flag someone down, and he sat on my table while he took their payment. He realised I hadn't ordered so offered to take my order. I explained that I have complex allergies and asked whether this would be okay and was cheerfully told yes, no problem. He took my drink order and got confused when I asked about what was in one of the dishes. I asked whether the recipe had changed in the last couple of years, as I've been to Wagamama before but not for a while following a bad experience. He confirmed that it had changed, so I asked him to cancel my drink order as I wanted to leave. By the time I'd got my book in my bag I had a manager and the drink I'd asked not to have. The manager cheerfully explained that they only cater to the fourteen main allergens and therefore couldn't advise on anything else. He seemed genuinely surprised that I still wanted to leave, and was still trying to take my food order as I paid for the drink that I had asked not to have and wouldn't be drinking. I walked out fuming, £5 worse off, as he continued to smile at me as though I'd enjoyed my meal. Never, ever again.

Really liked the thai chilli margaritas and the warm, friendly customer service from Laxmi. Thanks for suggesting the chicken coconut kare, was a fab suggestion!

Yummy Asian food, comfortable ambience and even colour pencils and paper for children. I would come back here for a meal again if I swing by Hamleys

I always have a great meal at Wagamamas, but my experience was made really special because of Hope. She was really attentive, took great care of us when there was a mix-up in the kitchen and even realised when I accidentally left my umbrella! Thank you Hope!

Worst Wagamama food I have ever eaten! Way too salty - from miso to salad dressing all the meals were overly salty. Love Wagamama, hated this specific restaurant.

Satisfied. Worth the price. Foods are absolutely lush. The servings are good for two (for me personally 😉) Because I cannot tolerate spicy, I made my food personalize and still it’s perfect. I will definitely come back. It was a good experience ☺️ Staffs are so good too.

Went there for lunch, I was quickly seated at the front window but it took 10+ minutes for a waitress to pass by so I could order. The lady next to me waited about 15 minutes?! The place was mostly empty so I would encourage the person placing people to speak to the person taking orders, to ensure good service… Chicken pad thai and a beer, the food was good. The place would easily get another star in a blink of an eye with proper service. The chefs appear friendly and the open kitchen is nice to see.

Food tastes so average but is rather expensive. The service was very weak, a lot of things were mixed up and brought at random times, but the forgotten items were on the house, so a plus point. The ambience was still rather too loud and not that comfortable.

Our daughters are Wagamama fans so it was an easy choice for dinner. As non-Londoners it was an added bonus to find additional menu items than the standard menu. We went around 6pm on a Thursday and was seated promptly. The experience was smooth, our server was polite, knowledgeable, and attentive. When our daughter's food arrived, we realised we had ordered wrong even though our server checked back the order at the start. We were tired and hungry so it was our 100% our fault, with no fuss or drama the food was replaced with what we wanted. With 2 hungry daughters this was very much appreciated, and the manager Fabbi checked back on us after we had received our food. Such a positive experience with the service something I think many restaurants could do well to remember. Whist not being local I wouldn’t hesitate to return if in the area.

Waited 10 mins to get in only to discover it was empty???!!! Food was ok. Ordered a margaritta and i got something in a finger bowl?! Pretty poor show really guys. Did say something about the margarittaand got a stock answer of the manager says this is the standard If this is the standard,then its set really low. spent £80 on average food and poorly presented coctail. Won't be returning anytime im the future.

We ordered noodles and ramen, the dishes were delicious and generous. The service was rather average, the first course arrived quite quickly then we waited for our drinks and the other dishes for several minutes while the (friendly) waitresses chatted quietly.

I feel that this branch is much better than many of the others. This branch has slightly more personality and some dishes are only available in this branch. My only issue, which is preference is that cutlery is already on the side in cradles, to me it should be brought out with the dishes.

My friends and I had a very fantastic dinner. The ambiance was nice, the staff were good. We went there at peak time, but they were still all accommodating. The ramen is sooo delicious and we even got confused about what to order. Frederico, the Pilipino server is soo nice to us. Thank you! I hope we can come back to Wagamama next time.

Excellent place to eat delicious food at a good price. We tried the ramen, we asked for a spicy one and it was a serious mistake since it was too spicy, we did not specify the level of spiciness we wanted. We asked for tap water to drink, they were very kind to us. Good place

We had dinner here yesterday and our waitress , sohana was amazing , she was checking up on us and was so so sweet. the food and drinks were great and came out quickly! we also liked the atmosphere in this branch!

Terrible attitude by waiter. I kept waiting for ridiculous 20 minutes to pay the food. One lady displayed false smile and say thank you and walked off. Very rude. Very bad service 😤 I don't recommend this place.

Used to be my to-go place for exotic foods. Modernised and lost the old wagamama canteen-style. Still love the food.

Used to be good but sadly downhill now, they have removed one of their best meals, shu shiok chicken, and I was shocked when told today they can’t even offer brown rice in dishes in the store any more, a bizarre change after many years. Sad to see the demise of a good restaurant because they are trying to maximise profits.

Wagamama Noodle Lab allows you to order from the regular menu or try some new dishes not yet available in other branches. Typically, I ordered standard elements and they were tasty and quick to arrive. Wagamama are, on the whole, pretty consistent with nice food and prompt service and this branch is no different.

A very average Wagamama. The layout is rather odd and doesn't feel like a restaurant when you first walk in. We received a mediocre service - didn't get a choice of where to sit initially and generally the staff had a "can't be bothered" attitude. The dishes and food was okay, but nothing else to really say on top of that. Choose another restaurant in the area or another Wagamama branch!

Wagamama jest sieciówką, ale serwują naprawdę dobre jedzenie. Tym razem zamówiłam teriyaki beef brisket hot pot, było pyszne. W Oxfordzie zamówiłam to samo i jakość była już trochę gorsza. Dlatego daje 4 gwiazdki zamiast 5. Na pewno można zjeść dobrze i za przystępną cenę jak na UK. Polecam na szybko lunch podczas zwiedzania.

We came during a very busy time (6.45 on a Saturday night) and were seated in under 15 minutes. When we got in there the wait seemed a bit infuriating, however, since there were many empty and reset tables. I can only assume this was to help pace the kitchen. The floor staff were sub-par and in no real hurry to do anything. Pleasant enough at the table, but bickering and stuffing around with one another otherwise. The food arrived quickly and was as tasty as expected. We had two ramens - pork and brisket and we enjoyed both. Paying by QR code was great, as long as you have service in the restaurant. Thanks 3 mobile for terrible coverage!

Usually Wagama are good but this time the noodles in my ramen was really overcooked.

Staff were awful: clearly only interested in sitting you and clearing away to get the next punters in. No care or attention to diners at all appalling.
