En general pensé que estaba bien. La unagi (anguila) sin embargo era realmente gomosa y el rollo de salmón avacado tampoco era genial. Por lo demás aceptable. Don't go here. The sushi is beyond excellent, the prices reasonable. I love this place, my absolute favourite. But I don't know you. Maybe I wouldn't like you so... just kidding. It's great 👍

Excellent Japanese restaurant on the strip. The quality of the sushi is truly excellent. Very fun to eat quickly too. You risk spending too much due to the desire to take all the dishes.

Conveyor belt sushi. You can rack up your bill very easily. Do not go there hungry!

It's way too big pieces of sushi that become disgusting with huge pieces of fish in them. Buckets were on the tables with ginger and wasabi which several people have taken off, not very hygienic. The quality of fish is actually good enough, but it was too vulgar and therefore the worst sushi we have ever had. We got 8 pieces and then we left again. Would not recommend people there unfortunately 🇩🇰

Not a good experience, too big pieces of sushi which made it all impossible to enjoy eating. We went after a big disappointment, we have eaten sushi in many places in the world with really good food experiences. The quality of the products is fine. If the size of the sushi was halved and the price followed, it could be good.

My go to place! The food is freshly made in front of you, and ready for you to grab if you fancy. Each piece is well sized aswell, and makes you full quickly. The pineapple is to die for! So sweet, ended up having 4 plates of it! Best pineapple I have ever had.

This Japanese restaurant is located on Lower John Street in the Soho area. The shop features conveyor belt sushi, and the staff provided good service. We ordered chicken bites, tempura shrimp udon, and a selection of hand rolls, beers and sushi. The sushi was visually appealing, with fresh ingredients and vibrant colors, but the taste was average and didn’t stand out. I also tried the matcha ice cream, which was quite unpleasant. They do offer hot green tea in a teapot for customers to serve themselves, which is a nice touch. Overall, while the atmosphere was pleasant, I don’t think I’ll be returning.

Interesting concept with the sushi on the conveyor belt. It's a bit uncomfortable to sit on stools. Guests come and go. But the food is super fresh. And delicious. Payment is made at the end based on the plates collected by color. Please do not put anything back on the tape. You don't do that.

The dishes are very good and varied, However, I recommend arriving very early because the restaurant is small and very popular.

Sushi bar. Extra I recommend. The only drawback with some plates is that they are cold when they would taste better hot. Otherwise perfect

This is, and has been my favourite sushi restaurant for a number since I was introduced to it 7 years or so ago. I have since introduced a number of others to it, who in turn have introduced others to it. It's no frills decor, but the quality of the food, the portion sizes and the price, it can't be beaten. If it can I'd like to know! Personally love the soft shell crab hand rolls, the scallop nigiri, the salmon and tempura hand rolls. These I order as soon as I sit down if they're not already on the belt.

Had an extremely delicious dinner here! The fish is so fresh and the sushi is all so delicious. Just melts in your mouth. Great side dishes too like the seaweed salad, pumpkin croquettes, miso aubergine, crispy fried squid etc. we got the soba noodles which were incredible.

Go here for an excellent and fast sushi meal! A little crowded but it’s very efficient when you need your dose of best quality sushi.

This hole in the wall ‘sushi train’ style restaurant is immaculately clean, fast friendly service and super fresh seafood. Great spot for a quick and healthy bite to eat. Huge menu choices as well as a la carte. Highly recommend the soft shell crab rolls. See photo

I rocked up at lunchtime to a very busy restaurant. I didn’t have to wait long before being seated at the conveyor belt of sushi infront of me, with the Japanese chef behind preparing a plethora of dishes. So much to choose from and good value. I’ll be back for many a lunch break in Soho, for sure. Very chilled vibes with authentic Japanese sushi made by Japanese chefs. 5 stars.

Sushi has forever been my favourite food and Soho my favourite place so it’s only fitting I have now found my new favourite restaurant. I was looked after from start to finish and was lucky enough to watch the master chefs at work. I could not recommend this place more! Please please make sure you get the salmon toro! Kulu Kulu till I die!

Really enjoyed this place on my lunch break. Working in Soho for 12 years and am so pleased you can still find somewhere new and interesting to eat. This authentic sushi restaurant delivered on all fronts. I shall be returning for my sushi cravings!

Excellent sushi! We were looking for a restaurant with a rotating belt so that everyone could eat their fill, we were not disappointed, it was very good with different original recipes on the belt.

Best sushi restaurant in Soho. The price-performance ratio is great. You can watch the chefs preparing the sushi. The quality is absolutely good and everything is super fresh. The chefs respond to every request and create any sushi you want. My absolute tip: Salmon Skin, fried salmon skin I can only recommend the restaurant and will come back on my next stay in London.

Having been to Japan which is my top-of-the-list country, this restaurant is the one that resembles the most to those in Japan which I love so much. The food is excellent, the details, the green tea, the staff and the cosiness. I think it’s run by a Japanese family.

I've been going here since 2003 and it's still £ for £ one of the best sushi places you can go, especially in central London. They'll make anything you want fresh so don't worry about the conveyor belt if something looks like it's been doing the rounds too long! Super friendly staff, if you go make sure to order the crab hand roll, tempura hand roll and miso aubergine, these are a must, plus the fried salmon head which I love.

Very cute small affordable sushi place where lower prices do not mean the freshness or quality of ingredients is compromised in any way! Always make sure to go there when I am in Soho. It’s been almost a decade since my first visit now:)

For the price, location and quality this place can’t be beat. Sushi and sashimi are excellent quality. You can even request items to be made fresh if you can’t find it on the conveyor belt. Will come back again and again!

I had dinner with my husband in this restaurant and I really enjoy the atmosphere and the conveyor belt with sushi dishes! Apart from the plates on the conveyor belt, you can also order some dishes from a list. Hot tea is included. Quick and friendly service (even though we arrived quite late, at around 9pm) and at a good price!

Found this place on an evening in Soho after not being able to find space anywhere else (surprisingly busy for a Wednesday). So I kept walking and saw the window plastered with all these awards. Did a quick google maps check and said yep let’s eat here. They are unpretentious, great and friendly service, really high quality, reasonably priced sushi and food! I found myself craving it the next day… Conveyor belt sushi, pay by plate, prices are up on the walls and on the menu which you can also order from. The Chefs are preparing the food right in front of you. Everything you’ll need is on your take at the bar, tissues, chopsticks, pickled ginger, wasabi etc.. I highly recommend and will definitely return soon.

Food being freshly prepared in front of you. This place is amazing. Great selection and a menu if you want something different too.

My go to sushi place in London for over 20 years now but disappointed in the hand roll nori - chewy and tasteless! The other rolls still use normal nori, not sure why the change for hand rolls but CHANGE IT BACK!

This is my “go-to” place for authentic, tasty and very reasonably priced sushi.

Kulu kulu doesn't skimp on their fish. When a tuna roll, rolls up, rest assured it's going to be loaded with it. Prices might be on the high side but your getting your money's worth on quality and quantity. They don't accept reservations so you might want to come early to find a seat.

I was expecting real authentic Japanese sushi with Japanese Chefs. Sadly it wasn’t and the taste is kinda westernised. Having said that, taste is acceptable considering the value. Big portion. If you really miss sushi with conveyor belt, it is worth trying. But it’s nothing close to sushi u have in Japan, sorry.

Food was very nice and of course you can't go wrong with the service as it is a conveyer sushi restaurant so you can basically choose what you want at any given time, atmosphere was alright nothing really special. Overall great food and experience.

I have always enjoyed Kulu Kulu as a reliable, conveyor belt style sushi place. The dishes have not changed through the years. That's not a bad thing - it's great because you know exactly what you're going to get. The only downside is that the price has increased quite a lot in recent months making it less good value than before but I would still opt to come here over other conveyor-belt sushi establishments

good taste and location and def value for money

The staff were excellent about my Peanut, Nut and Sesamme allergy. Obviously going to a Sushi restaurant I was abit hestiant. But fear not! They were great, and the food was great too.

I was going to give Kulu Kulu 4 stars… then I saw that the only cold sake they have is made in the UAE?! What’s that about?? But to be nice I kept my rating at 4. Very disappointed with the sake selection. We didn’t wait at all for 2 seats on a Thursday around 12:30. Confused as to why the same dishes sometimes came through covered, sometimes uncovered. Some of the warm items were cold. The Aubergine are way too sweet. There’s no napkins, just tissues. The size of the maki/uramaki pieces are monstrous, too big to enjoy in one bite and fall apart if you try to enjoy in two bites. Friendly and quick service. Would not return, but based on other reviews, looks like one of the top 3 options for conveyor belt type restaurant in SoHo, Marylebone and Mayfair.

Went yesterday for lunch, it was my birthday. The quality of the food was simply outstanding. Delicious, fresh, authentic. Best Japanese ever found in London. Price was excellent considering location. Staff was nice and very discrete. I will be back for sure

Very very happy can eat sushi here. The sushi is fresh (i talk about the real sushi like nigiri and sashimi). I don't try the fried food but i think it's good because it smell good to. The salmon sashimi is amazing. Happy to be here

On pourrait avoir peur de se faire car les prix varient en fonction de la couleur des assiettes, mais au final même avec une grosse pile d'assiettes en fin de repas le prix est convenable. 130 livres à 4 pour des sushis et autres plats japonnais de qualité ce n'est pas excessifs quand on voit le prix dans d'autres restaurants Londoniens. A faire et à refaire , bonne expérience bon resto, je recommande.
