Great service from Martyna, delicious food, we had the Katsu Chicken Curry with two starters the food was very tasty and the atmosphere in the restaurant was very good - highly recommended

Estábamos cenando como una familia de cuatro personas donde 3 de nosotros conseguimos nuestras comidas principales servidas al mismo tiempo, pero nuestra hija ha llegado cuando estábamos terminando el nuestro! Muy molesto, especialmente porque le habíamos preguntado dónde estaba, ya que íbamos al cine, así que tuvo que terminar su comida temprano!

La mejor comida, Wagamama es siempre una opción perfecta para un bocado de lite o una gran comida. Me encantan los bollos de bao y especialmente los de pato. Gran servicio

No pensé que fuera un auténtico restaurante japonés pero mi esposa se moría por algo de comida japonesa. Ofrecía varios platos de tipo asiático todos con el sabor mezclado ninguno tradicional o auténtico. La comida sabía bien, no está mal que no esperaba mucho después de todo es una cadena grande. Mi esposa tenía el yaki udon y yo el pad thai ambos bien. Si no eres exigente con ser auténtico.

Service was fine, food was delivered in a fairly timely manner. However, the food was quite below par. We ordered the Pad Thai and Coconut Kare. The Pad Thai was practically flavourless besides the salt — no other taste, just an overwhelming mouthful of sodium. The Coconut Kare suffered from the same problem (far too salty); however, at least it had a little bit of spice to counteract. Others seem to leave very positive reviews of the food so perhaps it was a fluke, but overall, the food was unfortunately very disappointing.

Food is great but very spicy service is quick and very cleaning was here with family only thing I would change is add how spicy things are

We went to this restaurant at 5.30pm which was a bit early for us, but just as well as when we left there was a queue out into the street of people waiting to get in. The food was very good indeed. I ordered the firecracker chicken which certainly lived up to its name- it was very spicey. My wife ordered a milder chicken noodle dish which she really liked. The started of prawns on a stick was very tasty. The pork bao buns were a bit disappointing, but everything else was excellent. I would certainly recommend this restaurant.

This was my first time eating at a Wagamama's, but I’ve heard a lot of good things so I had to try it out. I ordered the chilli shrimp and kimchi ramen and was very impressed with the food. Not only that, but the service was great as well. I was served by the lovely waitress called Alexis and she was very friendly and welcoming. I’m a very indecisive person so I was struggling to choose what I wanted, but she was very patient with me. Would most definitely be visiting again!!!

Been to many Wagamama restaurants and this one has to be my favourite! Popped in on Wednesday evening for a solo meal of Squid and Yaki Soba! Sam greeted me and seated me at a table and went through the process! His recommendations were accepted and enjoyed! I usually have the Katsu curry but wanted to try something different! It did not disappoint! Huge thank you to the Chefs, Sam and Mateusz for sorting out my bill with a gift card I had! Highly recommend and will come back as the service was amazing!

Visited recently. Plenty of choice on the menu. Pleasant staff. Food arrived quickly. Wife enjoyed her food but I must have made the wrong choice! I won’t be rushing back.

We got a takeaway at about 8pm ordered on Uber eats. Delivery only took about 40 mins which wasn’t bad, and most of the food was great except lacked some sauce and the tofu options were very scarce on tofu.

Pretty disappointed when we came in the people working there were not very welcoming although the food was good.

We mostly enjoyed our food- my husband found the noodles with chicken and prawn bland but adding sauces found on the table helped. Our pork belly bun starters were moreish! The service is iffy because it’s a popular restaurant but we managed ok and would be back for sure. Oh and dessert- the ginger cheesecake- is a yes but the treacle-filled choux bun was average.

Fast food done really well. We were early so missed the rush, got served quickly and the food was excellent. I like the fact you can pay online by scanning the code rather than waiting for the bill. Some confusion that the menu offer large and small glasses of wine, but only small are available. The chicken ramen was OK, but the veggie tofu/mushroom ramen - bartsu kota? - was delicious! Central location, rapid service, good food and loads of space. Definitely worth a visit.

Went here for our daughters birthday. The service was extremely poor. We stood for about 10 minutes before being asked if we'd like a table. We sat down for at least 10 mins before we were asked for a drinks order, by this point we knew our food order too, so put them through together. Drinks arrived after the food arrived! At no point, did anyone clear our plates for us to even consider dessert. We ended up paying and leaving very disappointed. The restaurant wasn't busy, so we couldn't see any excuse for the terrible service. The toilets were filthy too. We won't be back and don't recommend.

I hadn't been to a Japanese restaurant before, but have always liked Asian food. This visit was during the Edinburgh Festival but the restaurant wasn't too busy at the time I went (6.45pm.). I was greeted at the door and shown to a placing for one person. The menu was explained and after a little wait a really charming waitress (Barbora) arrived to take my order. I chose Chicken & Prawn pad thai with a side of wok fried green vegetables and found I hadn't forgotten how to use chopsticks. I was hungry but the meal was truly amazingly good. I enjoyed a large glass of white Sauvignon blanc too. I will definitely return here when I attend the Festival next year.

Great location right off Lothian Road. If you're lucky enough to get a window seat, it's great for people watching while you eat! I visited Wagamama's for the first time in Edinburgh. The menu has a little bit of something for all Japanese food fans. I ordered the chicken firecracker. There was a bit of disconnect when ordering because I didn't want bell peppers, I wanted hot peppers. Nonetheless, I was able to pick out the bell peppers. I was hoping for some more heat with a name like firecracker chicken, but the dish was still tasty. They are a made-to-order type of restaurant with an open kitchen, so you can see all the action. One thing to be mindful of is portions are pretty generous. I'd start with maybe 1-2 entrees for a table and work your way up from there.

Had dinner there with my family. Ramen bowls and Yaki-udon were very delicious. A great open space and staff were friendly. The price point was reasonable. If you are familiar with Japanese food beyond sushi, I totally recommend this place!

Avevamo già mangiato a Copenaghen in un wagamama e devo dire che avevamo trovato tutto ottimo. Sfortunatamente non posso dire la stessa cosa per Edimburgo. Personale gentile, nonostante la coda ci hanno accolto con gentilezza e dei 10 minuti annunciati di attesa ne avremmo fatti si e no nemmeno 5. Cucina in vista ma non è sufficiente per assicurare la qualità nei piatti che non abbiamo trovato. Io e mia figlia abbiamo preso entrambe ramenen, nessun gusto, completamente scipito sia il brodo che il pollo e le verdure che c'erano dentro, mio marito e mio figlio hanno preso un piatto a testa a base di pollo ma del pollo c'era solo l'ombra, tutto riso e salsine ma pochissimi pezzi di pollo. Il conto è in linea con i prezzi di edimburgo ma pagare 70 sterline in 4 per mangiare senza alcun gusto onestamente non ha senso. Non andate

I went there with family for lunch. It’s was really awesome food,fresh and hot and loved spicy food. Very well attended by staff my children loved it. Firecracker chicken and fried and chilly mashroom was highly recommended.

Food was really great and Naomi, our waitress, was so friendly and knowledgeable. We got a seat right away and didn't have long to wait before our food appeared. I had the Tofu Phad Thai and my husband had Yaki Soba; both were really nice. The bill was reasonable too. I'll definitely return next time I'm in Edinburgh.

Fantastic service. We were supposed to go to ‘Dishoom’ next door but they cancelled our table on us and wouldn’t give us another. Instead we went next door to wagamamas. The service was amazing and fast. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. Food was superb and tasty. Great atmosphere and fair prices.

After a long day of sightseeing and fishing, our family was ready for a nice hot bowl of ramen! This is our 3rd (or maybe even 4th) Wagamama we have visited in the UK. Our hostess was very nice and made excellent suggestions. She ensured we have everything we needed during our meal. The only thing was their hot water dispenser was broken so we couldn't have green tea. The hot bowl of ramen hit the spot on a rainy day. Excellent meal as usual at Wagamamas!

Excellent service, our waitress Naomi was great. The food was delicious, all in all a great evening. Particularly recommend the Kare Buruso and the katsu banana, both are really tasty.

We had the pork belly ramen and Korean beef buns. They were very good. The noodles are fresh and amazing. While the broth wasn’t my favorite, it was still very good and quite tasty. I definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone who likes ramen.
