I recently placed an order via deliveroo, but had a problem with it going through twice. I spoke to the manager Ari, who worked really hard to help me get the issue resolved. When the food arrived it was hot, filling and absolutely delicious. I will definitely be ordering from Wagamama Clifton again.

Food was made nicely although I ordered very late in the evening. The staff also left a nice handwritten note in the order so that was nice.

We had lunch in Wagamama Clifton today. Food was all yummy esp the yaki soba, cauliflower bangbang, raisukaree, beef donburi, chicken yakitori and more. Will deffo comeback again as we really enjoy our dining experienced. The server were all nice, happy and accommodating. We are all happy and satisfied customers.

Charged my card twice, put me into unarranged overdraft with my bank. Called them, manager said it’s normal and the money will be returned to me in a couple days. Three days later I still do not have the money back and am behind on my payments. Called back again and they said there’s nothing they can do to help, and it may take up to a week to get the money back 👎

Azsar is honestly the best!!! I had an absolutely wonderful experience there. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The service was impeccable, with attentive and courteous staff Azsar who went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect.Thank you Azsar!!!!

We were warmly welcomed and allowed to choose a spot. The service was very attentive, he noticed that we were freezing under the air conditioning and immediately turned it down. He was there to help and advise us when choosing the menu. A menu was put together for us according to our needs and tastes. We would be happy to come back.

We choose restaurants for the quality of food, this was a terrible choice, even our six year old found his food unpalatable, we only received half our order and ended up only managing to eat a couple of mouthfuls. We did raise that the food was appallingly bad for such simple dishes and were offered to have it cancelled off which was very kind, and while service was courteous sadly we came for the food.

Chicken in my ‘prawn’ pad Thai. I’m pescatarian don’t eat meat, manager, a guy came over said “well you eat it so you pay” this was coincidentally my last mouthful. I refused to pay and so when he gave my friend the card machine to pay for her food he tried to charge her for my food too! Was shouting at us, terrible service. Shame really because the squid was insanely good and the chefs do a great job.. but more attention needs to be paid to peoples dietary requirements espesh if you have all allergies

Went today with my partner and Sebi was great! Food came out really quickly. We got the duck bao and it was superb!! Deffo go again!!

wow! where do i start, the service we received from our waitress, Niamh, was second to none. She couldn’t have been more attentive and helpful. She was super knowledgeable about the menu and pointed out the new items for us to try. The food itself was lovely but the star of the show was definitely the service. Thank you so much for a lovely meal!

Food arrived on time, beautifully presented clearly labelled. We enjoyed 2 starters and 2 mains, we enjoyed the layered flat bread crispy and complimented the chicken, sauce and leaves. The Panko Thai was very tasty I would recommend this one😋👍Thanks for the polite note and the freebee peach tea 🤗

This is a lovely place to stop for lunch, we were lucky that is was quiet. The staff member who seated us was very helpful as my partner can’t have gluten, and we are both vegan. The staff member introduced himself as Mike and explained the menu giving helpful advice regarding spice level, size of portions and asking insightful questions about what we had tried before and what he would recommend. The food came out quickly and the portions were generous. I was really impressed how organised the menu is and how helpful and knowledgable the staff member was.

A few days ago I took my girlfriend here on a date and we really had a lovely time, the food was delicious. But the service made my girlfriend and me a little uncomfortable as we were served by a person named Mike, he told us he was a manager. He got real chatty with my girlfriend and while taking the order he just sat next to her, like really close and he was just glaring at her top to bottom. It really made her uncomfortable and unsafe. We just wanted to get out of there at the earliest. The food was lovely but staff like this will make the experience bitter. I hope the management will take necessary action on this matter and make sure that customers are made to feel comfortable. I did not want to leave a bad review but this experience has actually scarred us. It's people like this who destroy the entire ambience and happy times that we try to spend.

Most of the time I order through Deliveroo and every time it arrives warm and fresh absolutely amazing, the hand written notes are also a nice little touch :)

Made an order via Deliveroo. One of the meals was a Yasai Pad Thai (with tofu) instead we got a yaki udon which contains chicken and prawns. I caution everyone to check their food before eating. Luckily we aren’t allergic….

Food was lovely and nice environment to go to

I visit Wagamamas a lot (weekly), and I was SO disappointed with this visit, to the point where I wouldn’t go again to this location. The food order wasn’t right, the portion size was much smaller than what I’m used to from a Wagamamas, there was little care/attention from the staff and it felt all round a bit of a deflating place to eat. Highly recommend going to Cabot Circus instead which is a short (15 min) walk from this location.

LOVED IT 💯 The portion is good and the flavour is really really umami especially for the chicken hotpot. Not too busy even though I went on a weekend. But the vibe is perfect and noisy ahahha if that makes sense. Overall no complaints just wow (okay a bit costly but can't complain much)

WORST WAGAMAMA FOOD, SERVICE & EXPERIENCE EVER! I am a HUGE Wagamama fan and go a lot to the Gloucester branch, which is always a 10/10 experience, the food is incredible every time and the service super high. The Bristol Triangle Wagamama could not be more different. We went there last night for my BIRTHDAY and the service was the worst i have experienced anywhere - the guy - we think he was called Clarence - was beyond slow, unfriendly and rude, causing us to be late for the show we had booked. The food, inedible, uncooked and half the size it usually is. This morning, my husband and I both have stomach aches and given we didn’t eat anything else, must be the raw, uncooked Wagamama. To make matters worse, the bathroom was a mess. The tables unmade. The service area on the way to the bathroom a shambles. Is anyone in charge of this place? Someone needs to over haul this place immediately because there is such a glaring gap between this one and EVERY OTHER WAGAMAMA EVERYWHERE. We have been to so many Wagamama’s up and down the country and this one lets the whole chain down. Please, for your brand and reputation, sort this branch out ASAP. We will NEVER be back.

We had a Deliveroo order from Wagamamas Clifton. It was absolutely delicious and very thoughtfully packaged. The order was clearly made with care and we enjoyed every mouthful!

We like Wagamama and went to restaurant before a concert. We had left ourselves plenty of time (over 2 hours) for the meal and the food and service were lovely as always. However, we had to wait a long time for our food - my main course finally arrived almost 50 minutes after ordering - as the kitchen was too busy cooking food for the numerous delivery drivers waiting for orders. As a result we had to rush our our meal and did not have time for dessert and coffee. So what was supposed to have been a pleasant experience, became quite stressful. I think we were not alone in this situation and the restaurant really needs to address the problem.

You know what you're getting from wagamama and these guys didn't disappoint. Food was spot, hot, tasty, quick and not expensive. The service was great, really friendly and couldn't do enough to help

The food was well cooked & is definitely the best out of all 3 Wagamamas in Bristol. The staff were friendly & polite, but could’ve been more attentive when it came to wanting the bill. The atmosphere is nice but the restaurant lay out isn’t appropriate for people in wheelchairs & pushchairs (we had both in our party) luckily it was extremely quiet when we went, but if the restaurant had been busier we would’ve had to leave, purely down to lack of space. The best time to visit is lunch time, as the evenings can be really hectic with students. If you’re also ordering deliveroo & this wagmas & cabbots are offered, then this is definitely the one to choose as it’s always very good.

Delicious chicken ramen and edamame. Although near closure time they served us with pleasure and courtesy. Highly recommended.

We ordered online, 3 mains and 2 sides. Out of the 3 mains, 2 were incomplete with half of the ingredients missing: no kimchi side, no teriyaki sauce, no sesame and spring onion dressing. Just two bland donburys. We realised when we were at home and there was no point going back as it was late and the food would have gone cold. Taking into account that the restaurant was almost empty and they were not busy at all this is not acceptable.

Had a lovely meal, first time at Wagamama, but turned out very enjoyable. Service from the staff was excellent and very friendly.

Me and my partner went to this branch on a whim because we randomly fancied a Wagamama’s, the service was fine, the food was average — nothing different to the usual Wagamama’s I’ve been to elsewhere, although the atmosphere was lacking as we went there at a quiet time. However, the thing that tainted the entire experience for me was the absolutely disgusting toilet facilities. I am hoping that this has been sorted by now, but I could barely stomach my meal after seeing the state of them, I won’t go into detail but they clearly had not seen a cleaner in weeks and were unusable, causing me discomfort and making me unable to finish my meal — thankfully they have takeout boxes handy.

The food was very good. It came to my table within a matter of minutes, given that I did get a rice bowl. The salad in the dish was crispy and had a fresh taste. The meat was well-seasoned and delicious. The meal fully satisfied me!

I fancied a solo lunch out. It was my birthday on a wet, cold, dark Monday, so a bowl of ramen was in order. The ramen was exactly as hoped - well flavoured and steaming hot. The staff were friendly and attentive, without disturbing my peace. I have food allergies (gluten, milk) and these were managed confidently and without leaving me feeling uncomfortable. Some restaurants give you a huge table of all of the ingredients in each dish and leave you to it (I tend to walk out when this happens), but here the server had the information on a tablet and helped me to find something suitable. I know they're a chain, but I think they're one of the good-guys. The food is freshly made and good quality, and this restaurant is one of the few places that I feel comfortable eating out as a solo woman.

Good food, served quickly and great value for money.

Came here and brought my mum, we shared the Katsu Curry and the Yaki Soba. After a few hours we were both violently ill. Staying in a hotel, vomiting uncontrollably for at least 3 days and had to almost call an ambulance. DO NOT COME HERE !!! Also heard from others that this is the one you need to stay away from. Really really baddd

I ordered click and collect yesterday and it was amazing. I had the chicken firecracker and would definitely recommend to anyone if you like spicier food, I usually get wagamama’s in Bristol when I’m ill and it always revives me in some way. My food was ready as I arrived to collect it too and the service was really friendly and polite, would definitely recommend !

Wagamama's consistent, food good, sometimes the randomness of the food delivery ( which is their tradition) can be a little off. Especially when you get appetizers after mains. This is a grazing restaurant.

I used to work at wagamama in wigmore street in London 20 years ago and the katsu curry is still a favorite of mine and it really hasn't changed since then . The Clifton branch is good clean quick service no complaints from me 👍

My partner and I love it here, we come here most weeks as it’s such a lovely treat! Mike and his team are so welcoming, they really add to the experience as they always look after us. Thank you for the best service and amazing food, we do appreciate it. We will be back very soon!

Went for an early lunch and I love Wagamamas! Today didn’t disappoint! Food was absolutely lovely! Definitely recommend!!

I understand food not coming all together all at once since that's how most restaurants and dai pai dong do it in Asia. But when it took 45 minutes for the last plate of food to arrive, that is a bit ridiculous. It feels like they cook with a random table generator in kitchen and you got to hope for the best that you and your mates food are cooked around the same time. Otherwise you are left sat there watching your group eat. Food was OK. The Ebi Katsu was good, but the chicken and prawns pad thai was bland. Expected more when they are charging over £20 for a main and a side.

Terrible experience. It took 2 hours to be served food. They forgot to cook my wife’s dinner. The manager was too busy to speak to us. Because of this we could not serve my daughter her birthday cake. Definitely not a suitable location for birthdays. We were then late for our next appointment. Dreadful

Awful service, so busy herding people in they forgot about bothering to look after the customers they already had. My family had all received their food and I was sat watching whilst they ate. Mine arrived well after they had finished and we were late for an event following which ruined what should have been a lovely evening

Lovely family meal and delicious food. Our server Niamh was fantastic, with multiple drinks orders and extra dishes. Fab!

Overall okay experience, they were unfortunately understaffed meaning one server had to work the entire front of house. He did his best!

It's Wagamama, so you know what you're getting, but it feels a little hum-drum now. It's got super expensive (£50 for a family of three) and I'm sure the whole experience has got a lot faster in recent years. Try some of Bristol's numerous indie east-Asian places instead.

Celebrated our 5th anniversary here, The staff were excellent, it's my favourite thing about going to Wagamuma's, the staff always make you feel like family. Sebastian stood out exceptionally, very funny and laughed at our jokes even though he must have heard them 10 times before. Food was delicious as well

Had a great dinner with family, and the staff very kindly put up with our excessively chatty group. Shout out to Niamh and Mike who looked after us very well, dealing with everything asked of them with smiles and warmth. They are a credit to Wagamama!

We had a fantastic meal here. My family love Waggamamas but all agree that this serves the best Waggamamas of all the ones we've been to. In addition, the welcome was great and the service perfect. I love that the manager took time to come and talk to us and check that we had everything we needed. Nice touch. Thank you guys.

Wheel has definitely come off at this one unfortunately, when told one of our party of 4 had a gluten allergy they complained to us about the hassle then when eventually took order, took so long to bring out the GF food everyone else had finished. They gave our kids their meals but with wrong sauce, said they didn't have the one we ordered and that the different one was "fine for them" (the kids didn't like it). When asked for ice lollies told no puddings as freezer was broken. Restaurant only 1/3 full and I counted 5 staff front of house but service slow, poor, rushed and generally v disappointing for a wagas. Even tried to clear plates we were still eating from.

Consistent Wagamama cooking, great flavourful Asian-inspired dishes, summer menu. Missing the broths but hope they'll be back in the autumn. Always busy it seems, why we visit out of main meal times. The cheesecake is amazing for indulgent dessert. Recommended.

Unfortunately they were out of tofu, carrots, orange juice, udon noodels. At least we got one meal for free.
