Wagamama in Bristol, City of

Always excellent in any country. Did the recipes seem a little less seasoned than at W in London and Amsterdam? However location of this is in the center of Bristol. Always a nice environment and even if it was very crowded it was easy to talk in the group. Practical tables with hooks to hang bags underneath (unfortunately I discovered them at the end of the meal🙄😬), and there is also a shelf in the hidden space for bags and maybe a small jacket. Super helpful and present staff; ordering was quick and easy, and very attentive to those with allergies - a manager arrived at our table and checked each dish to see if it was ok for the guest. Spotless bathrooms. Excellent food and prepared with espresso so it doesn't necessarily respect the anti-first-meal-second structure but that's fine. Sharing and recommended! Power drinks fantastic.

Service was awful, one server shouted at the other in front of us. The food was awful, everything under or over cooked, textures all wrong and flavours didn’t save it. Also the prices have gone up so much it’s comeoltly unaffordable now

I recently dined at Wagamama's and had the pleasure of being served by Hannah. Her professionalism was evident from the moment we were seated. Hannah greeted us with a warm smile and ensured we were comfortable. Throughout our meal, she was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and quick to provide recommendations based on our preferences.

I just wanted to write a review for “Rob” at the Cabot Circus branch as he was quite possibly THE NICEST person I have ever had the pleasure to serve me in Wagamama’s (and just any restaurant in general). I left a tip on my bill but paid via the QR Code so I hope he received it and I really hope he sees this - a credit to your restaurant! Food is always 10/10 and never had a bad experience. Thank you for making my day.

The pad Thai was lovely. Chilli squid beer good. I loved the plate of mixed pickles as I'd not had those before. Edamame beans were a little tiny. Not had them this small before. Colleague had the fish dish and thoroughly enjoyed it.

This was my first time at this restaurant and the food was delicious I had the pad Thai and was AMAZING and service was great my server was helpful and attentive to us during the whole meal and it was just a lovely experience in general, would definitely recommend :)))

Had a lovely meal this Saturday evening at wagamama Cabot circus. I have to say Alisha was brilliant , I wasn’t sure on what I wanted but she helped me and my friends decide on some lovely food with a smile.

Bold of the staff to ask for tips when they seem clueless most of the time ; and their online ordering system sucks so bad that we had to order in person instead

Honestly I’ve been to a lot of Wagamama’s as it’s my kids are fans, but I’ve got to say the quality of the food here was probably worse than any of the others. The gyoza tasted undercooked, the edamame beans were overcooked, mushy and very under salted, my daughter complained her mini ramen had a sweet tasting broth. That said, my ramen was fine and my son seemed OK with his mini katsu. Service was fine. A bit of a disappointment for the price.

Had the spicy chicken ramen, fairly tasteless probably the worst I’ve ever eaten, the diy packages in the supermarkets were far tastier and a lot less expensive… had the chilli squid and chicken yakitori sides which were ok. My son did enjoy the Katsu chicken curry The food was well presented and offered in a timely manner. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

We visited Wagamama Cabot Circus at 2pm on Saturday. Surprisingly, there was no queue at all. We were expecting a long waiting time for the food but it was fine. I don't know why the adult meal came first and the two kids meals came when I've nearly finished eating. Kids ramen felt a bit bland, the broth and the noodles were just flavourless.

I have tried ramen in many states of Mexico, Madrid, Ibiza, Rome, Mallorca and this is the worst ramen I have ever tasted in my life. I say tasted cause I could only take two tries eating it before I asked for it to go and gave it to a homeless!! If I could I would rate this a 0 but the place is clean and the staff are nice… I paid £30 por ramen, gyozas and peach iced tea

The wait staff are highly efficient and friendly, and as with every Wagamama I have been to, the food is delicious and served up swiftly. Always happy to visit here.

Always a certainty. I would eat this chicken katzu curry every day! I also love their juices: I always grab the carrot one but in this one I got the blueberry spice juice. The only cons is that the corn was not as delicious as the rest, however I love their food and atmosphere.

The go-to place for my girlfriend and I. The service is always fast and friendly. We love the Katsu curry, as it is delicious and always served with a good portion size.

It was a bank holiday so it was very crowded and very lively. I thought the dandan noodles could have been a little hotter, but they were delicious.

First time coming here, the door host was lovely and efficient. We were then seated and the waiter Nick came over straight away. He was so polite and genuinely happy, he could not of been more helpful. He’s attitude and mannerism made our experience very special. I have an allergy so he got the manager Cameron to come over and take my order, who then explained the process and preparation of the food. Which was lovely, it made me feel confident and at ease eating here. My partner had steak with he’s food and said it was very tasty. My food was delicious and came out so fast. We was so pleased with the food and service received. My only critique would be to have gluten free sauces readily available on the table with the others.

Ordered click and collect. Friendly staff, food arrived quicker than expected. I was a little disappointed with the Katsu Curry as I paid for extra chicken and it looked like the same amount as the normal one, perhaps it was forgotten. Other than that, food was great as always.

Not a good experience. Visited around 7:30pm on 24th March 2024 with the assistant manager of the Clifton restaurant. All we wanted was to try a new Wagamama. Got table number 361. Was just left waiting for 30mins with no one attending eventually leading us to walk out of the restaurant. The store wasn’t busy and I regularly visit Clifton branch and know what busy looks like. We tried calling someone but no avail. Sad.

Always a good place when you’re craving for some asian taste, but I believe they could have done better with the menu. Also, been here for a couple of time, the noodles were always overcooked :( apart from that, all good

A weekend in Bristol and after a day in Bath we got the train back and decided on this place. It was very busy and a typical Wagamama with benches and not much privacy. It was good though and always the food is excellent....strangely I didn't take any piccys !!

I came in on saturday and my gosh did kedest give an amazing customer service to me and my partner.kedest is such a lovely girl and a hard worker.she needs a raise.i loved kedest keep up the good work<3

Food is really good and very cheap, about what you expect. However I do feel like the service is pretty awful here. Been here twice now and the first time we did not get told how anything worked (we were confused as it was our first time) and found it difficult to even flag down a member of staff to ask. The second time, when we needed a member of staff so I could take some food away in a box we also could not track down any staff, and we had to take a box ourselves so we could pack up and leave. Also noticed they never clear empty plates and while I understand dishes come out as and when it is a little awkward when one person's dish comes out 20 mins after everyone else's. All in all ok, would come again but with average expectations.

Me and my friends ordered the tama squid balls , the shirodashi ramen and chicken hot pot. IT WAS AMAZING. I think the wagamama here was better than any other wagamama restaurant I've dined at.

I was a bit unsure at first due to the line waiting to get in, but people were moving fast enough that we only waited for about ten minutes before we were seated. The service was friendly and efficient, the food and drinks were delicious.

Great venue, excellent food, but the best was the service. My daughter unfortunately felt unwell not long after we arrived and unfortunately we had to leave quite promptly. Ewan was amazing, he understood that we wanted to box up our meals, he was very helpful and got us takeaway boxes and a drinks bottle. He went out of his way to make sure we were looked after. Thank you

Our waiter Rob was really attentive and friendly. We usually have to wait a while for waiters to come back over and take our plates and ask if we want anything else as I usually want a desert or another drink but he was the best waiter I’ve had in a while, was quick to come back and ask how our food was and came back over quickly when we’d finished and took our plates :) the food was also the best Wagas I’ve had for a while.

Ordered a tantanmen beef brisket ramen. The noodles were overcooked, the beef brisket was too salty and the broth was very oily. Service and drinks were ok tho.

Great food, excellent service by FOH team member Rebecca..great attitude, great smile, very polite and professional. Made us very welcome.

Wagamama is one of my favourite restaurants, had the duck donburi and it was yummy, huge portion so worth the price tag.

Always very considerate and inclusive of gluten free diets, separate menu as usual.

If I could give zero stars I would. An absolute atrocious service like taking away the right foot from David Beckham and making him whip a ball into the box, you’ll not win any world cups like that just like The Manger at this Wagamama’s won’t win manager of the year. I would recommend he has some training in customer care and decorum! As he has all the decorum of a reversing dump truck with no wheels. Will not eat here again or order. Will not recommend.

Waiters were attentive and quick to take our order. However, the food was an absolute let down so won't be coming back. Our food arrived like 10 minutes after ordering so at first I was pleasantly surprised with how quickly my table was served. This was until I had some of my ramen and it was barely lukewarm... no steam coming off or anything. Disappointed. Food was blatantly made in advance and let to sit for who knows how long. It also costs extra to make katsu curry spicy- all they do is add an extra chili on top and call it a day. The dish itself it not hot whatsoever.

My girlfriend and I visited Wagamama in cabot circus( it was our first time) our waiter was Charlie and the customer service was excellent we was unsure on how to order since it was our first time and he was very nice and patient explaining how everything thing works and even recommending a few thing we should try on the menu. We ordered the chicken ramen with duck and chicken gyoza and bbq ribs. The service was very fast and the food was delicious not to mention the cherry blossom lemonade it was very refreshing. I would definitely be visiting here again!!!!!

Different! But great food. It's a different experience to a normal restaurant where this is pot luck who you sit next to and what course comes out first, but the food is excellent. Service is swift though and a good vibe to the place.

The many different waiters and waitresses were polite, but it would have been nice to be served by just one waiter instead of 5 different ones. What’s worse, none of them managed to remove any of the empty plates or bowls when they came by to ask if everything was alright or to bring out another dish. Quite disappointing. Other than that, I understand the concept that dishes come out whenever ready. However, many of the dishes were up to half an hour apart from each other. And instead of ensuring that my partner and I had something to eat at the same time we had to eat at different times or wait until our better half got their dish at last, which was when our own food had already cooled down completely. Furthermore, except from the starters, which were enjoyable, the rest of the food tasted absolutely bland, especially considering the high prices we had to pay for them. Their competitor Itsu serves much better quality from our point of view.

In Anbetracht des Preises war unsere Erfahrung leider nicht so erfreulich, da der Geschmack keine bemerkenswerten Nuancen aufwies. Bei vergleichbaren Ketten lassen sich sowohl kostengünstigere als auch geschmacklich ansprechendere Gerichte finden. Interessanterweise wurden die Speisen in einer für mich nicht ganz nachvollziehbaren Abfolge serviert. Zudem blieben unsere leeren Teller und Behälter unerklärlicherweise eine beträchtliche Zeit lang auf dem Tisch stehen. Als jemand, der selbst als Kellner tätig ist, hätte ich persönlich einen weitaus höheren Standard an Service erwartet und auch erbracht.

Really disappointed by the vegetable goyzas and salmon teppanaki. Salmon was cooked to a rubbery texture and Goyzas were bland. For £27 for one including a diet coke its not cheap anymore and that the problem. Other competitor at this price point are better.

The food was mediocre, despite having experienced much better elsewhere, which raised my expectations. The service was very poor and slow, even though the restaurant was less than half full. The dishes were delivered at different times, even though they were similar, which was unacceptable. A note to Wagamama: Please hire motivated staff or, even better, incentivise them to improve.

Great experience and introduction to Japanese cuisine. The food arrived quickly, the staff members were lovely and helpful. All sides and main dishes were delicious.

Every time I dine at Cabot Wagamamas the food has always been delicious, and the service very efficient. I find that the staff are friendly and approachable, and overall always a pleasant place to go.

Arrived at 2130 for a work event in the city on a Sunday night when they closed at 2200 and most other places were closed. The staff were very accommodating and even let us order dessert if we wanted after final orders. Would definitely visit again. Only slight issue was they had run out of the free Green Tea.

Lovely place first time having a wagamamas and really enjoyed it! Absolutely loved the cherryblossom lemonade could drink that on tap! 😍 beautiful food and pur waitress milly was amazing attentive. Got crazy busy super quick and for someone who doesnt do big busy places i found it somewhat overwhelming but its a city and thats not wagamamas falut. Would definitely come again!

Been here with my fiancée as she loves Asian food. The food was amazing, reasonably priced and quite authentic for a chain restaurant. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the service was very prompt with friendly waters. Lucky Buddha was surprisingly good! Definitely recommend 👌🏻

Great location if you're shopping or spending time in the centre of Bristol. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the food was reliable as usual at Wagamama.

Egg was overcooked. The food is average asian food and is slightly overpriced. Atmoshere feeling is like a club due to the club like music.

The food was amazing and well presented, I really recommend chilli squid and gyoza ramen. However, the staff service wasn't as good as it could be, which is a shame because the food is so delicious.

Well food was ok Gyoza 🥟 was cold and a bit rubbery squid was also cold. Also ordered beef rarmon wich was filling but over all don't think that it was worth the £38.50

Gyozas obviously reheated because they came out within a minute or two of ordering. I had a bowl of rice for 10 minutes before my main came out. Service was ok, but overall, it was just a bit tragic and overpriced. I'm still hungry!
