Very authentic Japanese food. The pork ramen is good, ramen with good texture, pork nicely cooked, soup is just right not salty or MSG tasted. Mushroom ramen is rich and nice. Curry rice is very good. Environment is tidy and nice. Hygiene is very good. Saw waitress cleaned every table thoroughly which made me feel so good. Price is reasonable for such quality of food , services and environment.

I visited this ramen restaurant for the first time, and overall, it was a good experience. The service was a standout feature—our waiter was polite, attentive, and very helpful in guiding us through the menu. It made us feel welcome and comfortable right from the start. The ramen itself was a bit bland, though the seasoning could have been slightly more balanced. The portion sizes were generous. The atmosphere was cozy, a bit more spacing between tables or would improve the ambiance. All in all, this is a great spot for a comforting bowl of ramen, and I'll come back!

Amazing discovery for a ramen in Bristol. The place has a warm, cozy vibe that makes you feel like you’re in a little restaurant in Japan. The food was amazing. Make sure you try their ramen. The broth was rich and flavorful, the noodles were perfectly cooked, and the toppings were fresh and delicious. Another highlight is the Katsu Curry. The crispy breaded chicken cutlet was cooked perfectly, and the curry sauce was hearty and full of flavor.

Bring me back to Japan. This is an authentic Japanese ramen. The broth is rich but perfectly balanced, not overly salty. The chicken-based soup is made with a seafood stock foundation. The portions of meat are very generous, and the price is extremely reasonable. Gyoza are full of meat soup in it, highly recommend! They also serve sake, which is incredibly nostalgic. I ordered a warm sake, Dassai, and it was absolutely satisfying. It’s the kind of place you’d make a special trip to Bristol just to enjoy again.

Ordered the pork ramen, came in two separate bowls; one with the pork and noodles (which were both cold), and one heated hot stone bowl with the broth. Broth was absolutely delicious! One of the best I've had. But I wasn't quite sure on the whole 'put it together yourself' aspect because when i added the hot broth to the noodle/pork bowl the entire thing ended up being cold. Strange serving choice.

We ordered two tonkotsu ramen. Unlike other restaurants, they put the soup and the content in two separate noodles which is a good idea as it prevents the noodle to swell. The soup itself has rich flavour. But, a big but, it’s so creamy that after a few sips I get sick and didn’t finish the soup. In other restaurants after I finish one bowl of ramen, I’m usually not full. But here I couldn’t even finish the soup because it’s overwhelming creamy and too rich. It’s not English cream soup. Japanese soup is not meant to be so thick and creamy. I’ve lived in Japan before and I know what authenticity is. Very disappointed. The service is very average too. The food is quick and is shown in the service provided. Waiters are only interested in quick turnaround of customers. I don’t recommend this place.

The service was good. However, in my opinion, the food wasn’t that nice. It was personally not to my taste and I usually love ramen but, more notably, it all tasted kind of cheap. There were a couple of slices of almost processed chicken in the ramen but the bowl mainly consisted of tons and tons of clumpy noodles that weren’t that flavourful. Neither of us finished our meal. The lemonade was also definitely straight out of a three litre bottle and put in a fancy mason jar. It was also expensive for what it was.

I came here because the noodles are not Hataka style and are significantly thicker. My friend and I ordered two Pai Dan ramen. However, even though the soup looked very concentrated and thick, the flavor was lacking. It was so plain that, we asked for soy sauce. The noodles were not as good as I expected, if the flour is from Sapporo, it should have more flavor. As a tourist who just visited Fukuoka in Japan, sadly to say this isn't a decent bowl of ramen. The soup base is completely tasteless, the barbecued pork is ok, and the noodles are so numb :( I wanted to order tsukemen, but I saw that the soup at the isolation table was extremely thin, so I couldn't order it. I would like to think it is at the Hong Kong level or even at the London Tenmaru level, but the food is delicious 💀

This is the first time I've ever written a bad review of a restaurant on Google. The service is really really BAD!!! Their menu was a bit strange, and when I couldn't get it back to its original page after I had made my selection, one of the male employee became very impatient. It wasn't very busy when I went to dine as there were still plenty of empty seats but I still waited a long time for my dish. I ended up spending almost half an hour just waiting for a very, very oily ramen noodle. When I was checking out a female clerk forced me to pay for the service in a very rude manner, she kept repeating that I could get better service if I came back here after paying for the service, but that I never wanted to come back to this place again! I ended up refusing to pay for the service and she acted even more unfriendly, I think she was worried I would leave a bad review here. But I still felt the need to post it for more people to see. Trust me if you don't want to waste money as well as be treated rudely don't come to this place, you definitely have better options in Bristol!

After I paid and was leaving the restaurant, I was approached by one of the waiters who asked if I had paid for my lunch. Ramen was tiny for the price, did not taste good (although I’m aware this is subjective!) but lacked flavour with cheap luncheon style meat chicken with no flavour. Spectacular ramen! Pro: After eating ramen all over Japan for a month, I can say this is the best Ramen I have tried so far in Bristol and I tried it in three other places. It truly reminds me of Japan. The broth is exquisite, the seaweed and pork feel very good quality, and the chicken is infused with a soft ginger touch. Wow! The ambience is also Japanese alike. I am so happy and I tend to be a perfectionist so there you have it. Con: The toilets could be cleaner. Prices are high but IT IS WORTH IT. I will happily pay this price again as long as the quality stays the same.

MORE AT Google

This is a ramen restaurant located in the city center of Bristol. If the place is crowded, especially during holidays, it may be advisable to make a reservation. Now, let's talk about the food. Firstly, it must be acknowledged that the ramen here is incredibly delicious. I believe the most crucial aspect of ramen is the broth, as it reflects the restaurant's dedication to the dish. If the broth is not fresh or lacks richness, it indicates insufficient preparation by the establishment. The tonkotsu broth at Ramen Monster is rich and flavorful, leaving a lingering taste that stays with me even ten minutes after leaving the restaurant. Moving on to the toppings inside the ramen, in addition to the noodles, there are some conventional ingredients such as seaweed and eggs. The noodles are chewy, making it irresistible to take one mouthful after another until the bowl is empty. Apart from ramen, the menu offers various other choices. However, I found the chicken katsu I selected to be quite ordinary, so exploring other options such as side dishes or grilled skewers might be worthwhile. one drawback is that this restaurant doesn't open for business at noon but rather at 5:00 in the afternoon.

The situation was I asked the young lady for water when she was doing something (just only her around) and the other staff turned up from nowhere and spoke to me "she is doing something, next time ask someone else". You guys think this is the nice way to talk to your customer? He is super awful with everything as you hired the empty-head mannequin. He is the only one reason why I gave you lowest review and you should work on it. I would posted on my social media as well as I have received a very stupid customer with £15 for a bowl of ramen! Wizzy is providing lunches until it closes on June 22! If you check their Instagram account before you go, you’ll know if there is lunch that day. As for dinner, it is available in two seatings every Friday and Saturday. The hours are incorrect. The lunch timings are roughly 12:30-13:30 but food may run out faster on some days. The lunch box is just £4.5 and you get generous portions and many options, different every day. It’s nourishing and delicious at the same time, honestly the highlight of my days working in the office! The dinner’s portions are huge as well, with so many courses. I’d recommend going there with others, but for lunch, it’s nice to go by yourself as well and have a chat with Wizzy who always has lots of insights to share about food, the environment, and her philosophy!

What is there to say about Tuk Tuck. Food- delicious, service- top notch. I've walked past this small establishment way too many times without visiting! What a mistake. I would absolutely the chicken katsu, call me basic, I don't care! They even played good music! The only thing I could possibly comment on is the ventilation, I came out smelling a little bit of food, which is not totally a bad thing!
