I had the chicken red curry with rice which came to £9 . I was not able to finish it as there was quite a lot . I also had the Veggie Japanese gyozas which were delicious! There isn't very much room in the place, so It can be difficult to get a seat. Nice place to pop in and have a bite if you're passing by in town!

Bland... Sums it up. I am guessing western chefs for western taste. Nice staff Nice environment But food is disappointing in my opinion. Probably best to describe the restaurant as Asian fusion NOT Korean. Don't be scared to use chillies! Thai dishes Japanese dishes. I don't want to offend the establishment but just want to give honest feedback!

I hate leaving a bad review, but honestly this was one of the worst experiences of food I've spent money on! Arrived at 8:05 and we were showed to our table... menus were then unceremoniously thrown on the table and we were told they close in an hour🤷‍♂️. We had to leave in an hour so that wasn't that big a problem, let's do them a favour.... We got up and ordered all the food from the till, take the beer from the fridge (luckily I had a bottle opener on my key ring) otherwise we would have gone thirsty, from the warm beer... then the food arrives... let's go with luke warm, the team member oddly seems to get happier as every dish comes out as its closer to her clocking out... so let's run through them as quickly as she did: Dumplings, cold Spring rolls, greasy Bimbimpab, total jokeshop... meat option cold, veggie option mushrooms died a death earlier on in the day when they were cooked. Tinned sweetcorn and tinned bamboo roots, chucked over pickles (which tbf were ok) and cold rice,The kimchi loaded chips were apparently alright, but at this point I'd checked out. Stick to the Stokes Croft venue, this one is full of staff (I normally say team, but this isn't a team) that just want to clock out after there shift. Tbf we needed to be out for a gig round the corner within the hour... so full marks for getting us out in time!

It's rare for me to leave a review but I was so disappointed this evening. We chose Tuk Tuck as we know the Stokes Croft one to be good and needed a quick bite. However, walking in here, there was no interest or care from the servers and we were told 'we're closing in an hour' and tossed a menu. We ordered dumplings and Korean fries with tofu and kimchi. The dumplings were ready in minutes and lukewarm at best. My partner had the bibimbap which had a mixturen of canned corn and bean sprouts on, an egg and no sauce. We had to collect and open our own beers (thank goodness we had a bottle opener!). Such a shame when you bring people in, expecting decent food and atmosphere.

It's hard to eat, has no taste, added a lot of soy sauce and spicy sauce, but it's still hard to eat. I gave up halfway through the meal. I ordered bibimbap without the necessary kimchi, and even the beef seemed unseasoned. It can't be called a Korean restaurant.

We had a lot of food and 90% of it was really awful. Chewy chicken, tinned corn, the veg served with all food wasn’t pickled (it’s a Korean restaurant… ?) … pancake was soggy, dumplings were tasteless. I don’t feel good writing a bad review but I really feel like it needs to said about this place.

We visited this place with friends and really enjoyed it! Great food, with dishes from both Korean and Japanese cuisines. It's the only place where I could get Korean pancakes that were just as amazing as the ones I tried in Korea. The plates were vibrant and colorful, with a perfect selection of Soju flavors. The music was nice, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. They have tables outside, so you can enjoy the nice weather while looking at Bristol city. The prices are still good compared to other places! Highly recommend!

Food was pretty good. Toilet I think holds the crown for the dirtiest bathroom in all of Bristol. The whole place really is filthy. Not sure how it has never been pulled up on this as it totally impacts on your enjoyment of the experience. Staff seem to get on like a house on fire, if only a little of the convivial warmth was shared with the customers who are left alone to feel like they’re being served in some student flat while the residents are out back having a laugh.

Definitely more like a cafe/canteen than a restaurant - not really any waitress/waiter service as such. Very small, dated and could definitely do with a good clean and a lick of paint. Nice Korean and Japanese food restaurant I will say! They have bibimbap and kimchi dishes, as well as lots of curry dishes ha! The bibimbap is really good and they have 3 options with either beef, chicken or vegan. Very sweet to have quite a lot options included to cater most of the diets. The red curry is very yummy tooo! Instead of katsu curry that most of the stores provide, red curry is more soup-like and more spicy. The kimchi pancake is alright, I hope it is more crispy!

The Thai curry was like a Thai soup with rice in and so much sauce. Very limited menu for drinks and food too and not cheap. For the prices they charge, you would expect better quality and service. The cuisine was great, and there were several vegan options. I would recommend coming here for any a meal because it was excellent. Also, the location is extremely close to the city. It provides a lovely, calm environment inside. My only concern was that they could need more ventilation because they serve fried food. To those giving this restaurant very positive reviews, it's either they haven't tasted delicious Korean food yet or they just have bland tastes. First, the staff served me pork when I specified beef bibimbap in my order. The meat looks and tastes like unflavored pulled pork. They probably thought that slapping julienned carrots, diced tomatoes, tinned corn, gochujang will make it a bibimbap and call it a day. Their gyoza tastes just like the one you can find in an Asian grocery store. The chicken katsu curry is decent though. What I don't understand is why their miso soup served in a teacup? And their sauce served in single-use plastic containers?

Food is excellent and staff lovely but the restaurant was so cold - it was 4 degrees outside. There was no heating on & they were unable to shut the windows. Such a shame as this meant the food also went cold really fast. My previous experience of Bibimbap is its served in a hot bowl & stirred hence warming the vegetables up. This wasn’t the case so this dish was almost completely cold. If your customers are all sitting in their coats surely this denotes an issue?

Tuk Tuck: Not quite a Thai triumph! 🙃 Went on a food adventure at Tuk Tuk Bristol, and let’s say it was... interesting! I had chicken dumplings which had good filling inside, but was thick from outside. And in the second picture, it is Red Thai Curry - which had a kick, but not super flavorful, didn’t quite wow me. ☹️ Unfortunately, the rice stole the show for the wrong reasons. It was more like glue than fluffy grains, making every bite a bit of a struggle. My chopsticks did not approve! Let’s just say, the service wasn’t the smoothest operation. While Tuk Tuk’s flavors weren’t bad, they didn’t quite hit the mark either. The overly sticky rice and service hiccups pulled the experience down even further. Overall, it landed me at a 2.5 out of 5 star rating.

We had to wait for the cappuccino 20minutes which is not a big issue but even had to remind them that we had ordered 1 cappuccino with oatmilk. The lady gave it to us and we asked if it's with oatmilk because my partner can't drink milk! She said "yes" but her face wasn't sure. We tried and wasn't sure if it really was milk or oat. We think it's milk because he had stomach pain in 15 minutes! BE CAREFUL if you order food and drinks here if you have an allergy. Also avoid the kimchi because it was just tasteless. It's Itsu: on the one hand, sushi like this wasn't easily available in the UK just 10 years ago; on the other hand, it's still fairly inauthentic and average quality relative to the price. Hard dry rice, equivalent to lower end Japanese supermarket sushi (rather than decent restaurant sushi). Nice vibes though especially upstairs.

I visited the Japanese restaurant Seven Lucky Gods and was quite satisfied with the taste of the dishes. The fried potatoes were especially delicious – simply amazing. However, there are a few drawbacks. First of all, the menu doesn't indicate the portion sizes, which makes ordering a bit difficult, especially when you're with a group. Additionally, the portion size of some dishes doesn't match the price. For example, for £7, we received a very small piece of fish, which was a bit surprising. It would be great if the restaurant could address these issues. Also, keep in mind that the service charge is included in the bill. Otherwise, everything else was great – nice atmosphere and tasty food.

Amazing food, good service and reasonable prices. We paid £25 a head for a starter, main and drink.
