Wagamama in Plymouth

Awful experience food all came out at different times 20 minutes apart so non of us ate together as a family and 4 year old son waited an hour for food which was left on the top of the kitchen for 15minutes and was sent back as was freezing cold. Staff hadn’t got a clue what they were doing and no one seemed to be in charge so the service was awful! I wouldn’t bother going at peak times if you want to eat together and want any sort of service. 20 minutes after eating our table still hadn’t been cleared so we gave up on any desserts and left.

disappointing meal. Served by rude arrogant children. The food was completely different to the wagamamas in Glasgow. We also mentioned to the server that my friends food was lukewarm, and our reply was would you like me to put it in the microwave in a very sarcastic manner. A very rude young man with baggy clothes and lots of uncovered piercings all over his face. We felt cared for. we had to clear our own table. We also got accused of not paying when we walked out even know that wasn't the case we had paid in for just an embarrassing experience. Unfortunately this visit was a complete disappointment

First time visiting a Wagamama’s and omg was it amazing! The food was so fresh and delicious, with such a decent portion size for the price too. Loved how chilled it felt in there even with lots of people. Friendly attentive staff, and didn’t take long for the food to arrive either. Will definitely return soon for another special occasion :)

I love Wagamamas, don't get to go often enough - but please Wagamamas, take farmed salmon off the menu. I didn't notice it on the menu as, being a vegan I have too much to choose from, but I have just seen a petition on this which I support. The animal cruelty and environmental damage caused by salmon farming is well-known. Please don't be associated with this. From an otherwise very happy diner.

Awful would highly not recommend my main was tepid at best with burnt segments and lacking flavour. The waiting staff handled chopsticks point end in hand and my wife's main meal was cold by the time any of the other dishes were served.

Attended for a friends birthday meal. The last person received their food 30 minutes after the first, which was really poor. The food was at best average, we were asked to send in our order before attending but the branch didn’t receive it which wasn’t our fault and potentially contributed to the delay.

Amazing food always. Love the green tea and it's free! The way the restaurant is set up feels very authentic.

Me and my girlfriend visited here tonight and ordered the squid balls, beef steamed buns which were both alright, but not amazing with the bun part of the steamed buns being cold. For our main my girlfriend got a chicken noodle bowl and I got a pork noodle bowl and neither were worth the price. My girlfriend’s noodle bowl was very bland and completely inedible to the point where she stoped eating it after a few mouth fulls as it was making her feel sick, the broth and noodles both just didn’t taste right. Mine also wasn’t good with it lacking flavour and also tasting bland, we ultimately barely ate our mains, however thankfully our waiter Adam was lovely and very helpful in giving us a refund for one of our noodle bowls. Despite this we probably won’t be eating here again unfortunately as the first time was lovely.

Love this place! We have been to a few wagamama’s over the years and all have been great especially with GF allergies and eggs! But This branch is a firm favourite, staff also so friendly, attentive and helpful again with allergies. Food is always great and yummy. Will continue to come back 😊

Fantastic venue in the William Yard. We were visiting Plymouth from our home in Cornwall. Immaculate venue. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Cannot fault the staff. Just have an issue with the food, it is simply not great, decidedly average. Had a range of meals across the family and all was very average. Great venue, fantastic staff, very average food.

This was our favourite place to go and eat, we went last week for the first time in a couple months and we was shocked how down hill the food had gone.. we ordered 3 sides and 2 ramen bowls.. my wife had a cocktail and I had a beer.. we was absolutely disgusted being charged £8.50 for a cocktail witch was in about 1-2 inch deep glass with had 3 ice cubes in it.. (less than one mouthful and it was gone).. we had our sides witch was nice, then our mains came out, I took one sip of the broth and it was like drinking water. So the manager was nice enough to change them with no sort of compensating.. then said the chef forgot to add the ingredients into the broth hence the reason it tasted like water.. staff was hard to get hold of and the chefs in the kitchen was unprofessional acting like clowns and showed they have no care for there jobs. So a place witch was our favourite has left us with a bitter taste.. not good.

What a place. I suffer from social anxiety badly normally I don't like to eat out as with the anxiety i have a very bad Sutter. Normally I will have my sister order everything as its embarrassing but at wagamama Plymouth I was able to order my own dessert for the first time. This was down to the staff. I felt very confortable. When we were seated, we asked for a seat by an wall. He gave us a choice to have the back corner or by the sea view. Normally this request gets an eye roll but he was very lovely. Our waitress Zoey was brilliant. I can not sing her praise enough. She helped us work out the menu and saw I was struggling to speak with her there. So she ordered us chilli squid to pick and gave us time to decide. The food was picture perfect and tasty! Everytime we were checked on is it was like an injection of happiness the staff are so caring and attentive. Honestly can not compliment her enough. The most hilarious thing zoey did will stay with me forever is bring over the dessert menu opened them and said "it's time. You gotta treat yourself" and the walked away. Her whole attitude was brilliant. When she came back I ORDERED FOR MYSELF! I get it was 3 words but without a sutter. I felt great. My sister rang the restaurant and told the manager we had a great time 5 minutes after we left. Definitely coming back. For anyone that has any anxiety about eating out go here the staff are so friendly and the food amazing.

You can't go wrong really with Wagamama's. Good food, absolutely stunning location and some really nice staff. Been here a few times and i'm never disappointed. There's a full vegan menu, they cater to allergies and there's free green tea? What's not to love.

Went as foursome and as usual very nervous as my wife has a crustacean allergy, with many restaurants the staff are normally clueless as to what is cooked with what. The guy who served us was absolutely spot on with what she could and couldn't eat, giving many suggstions. The food was lovely also the service, was superb. Well don Wagamamma's.
