The food is fantastic, highly recommend the yaki sobi 😋, the staff were great and friendly.

i came into wagamamas last night, and was blown away by their excellent service! asra served me and my friend, and she did so with a smile and kept up laughing throughout the night. a total asset to your team. thank you!

Food was nice but found service strange. First time visiting so not sire if it is normal standard. Ordered our food, My partners dish was brought out shortly after. It was more thrown on the table as the waitress walked past. 15 minutes later my dish was brought out in the same manner. However,my partner was waiting so we could eat together and it caused his to be almost cold. We had both finished our mains before our sides were brought out after another 10ish minutes. Doubt we will return due to this which is disappointing.

It’s always such a delight coming in, the food is always so tasty and the service is top notch! Alyssa and Rudi were so lovely and ready to give a helping hand. Really quick, friendly and even showed us how to use the app! they made our experience even better! Thank you!

Really disappointed tonight guys. Have been coming here every couple of weeks for several years. Whenever there is a delay or issue you are always on the ball. Tonight we ordered starters all bar one arrived a few minutes apart which is normal or course. However we waitied nearly 40 mins for our missing starter, chased it up twice it eventually arrived raw and undercooked. We had to send back one of the starters as it was so greasy and has not been like this before. Didn't order our mains due to how long we had waited. Complained to waitress but just got fobbed off even though it was not busy. Paid our bill as usual but had to remind them to remove the starter we sent back. The young waitresses found this amusing. They then called us back in as they said we had not paid. Showed them our receipt proving we had paid and they still said it had not but let's us go. They said there was a glitch in the system which affected our starters. Perhaps the same for the billing system. Poor service, totally embarrassed at the end also. What a shame as clearly the night time staff have let you down as we have found the the day staff such as Ben and manager always to be fantastic. Sadly you have lost a family of four based on tonight's experience. 😕

Popped in to Wagamama for a quick bite to eat before work and the staff and food were an absolute delight. Our server Joe was a total diamond! They were super friendly and attentive and made our meal really lovely. Not to mention the chefs cooking up absolute treats in the kitchen. Honestly wasn’t expecting anything aside from a quick meal in a well known chain but the staff here really made it special - it’s really worth a visit especially if you have Joe as your server :)! Cheers guys!

I found it to be really hit and miss with the ramen noodles, I really used to enjoy it a couple years ago, until they changed the noodles. It went from bouncy and flavorful to very chewy/doughy, I thought things might have changed after I visited last week, and the noodles and flavour are better, but when I came back today it was back to the clumpy, doughy ramen, and the broth was lackluster, I was honestly disappointed. I would visit more but at the moment, it is a gamble whether you're going to get a good bowl of ramen, or a bowl of a mediocre noodles that is nowhere near the standard/quality for the price it was sold. Until the consistency improves, it will always be a gamble for me to visit this restaurant.

Their curry is good, their delivery time is horrendous. 1:30h average to deliver 2 mains 8 minutes away. Need to improve in their delivery as they also charge a fee

Always enjoy this place. Good kids options and decent service. Food is always a good standard.

Spicy is spicy! The fire cracker gives you a real kick! But nicely and still able to taste.

UPDATE Back in Plymouth and have been twice to Wagamama's. What a change from our last visit! Great service, fast and friendly with fantastic food and the app meant it was quick and simple to pay. Thanks to all the staff and chefs there. Absolutely first class! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 (Last year) Waited a long time for our order to be taken. Quite a few items not available due to fryer being broken and had to ask for our order as it took so long to arrive. Couldn't get the pay at the table to work until the third attempt.

Food was okay but service was poor, kept waiting after being sat for anyone to take a drinks order. Apparently the waitress was unable to take an order from someone with allergy it has to be done by the manager, why, everywhere else seems to manage to train their staff? The food when it eventually came at staggered servings, when we asked why the delay on the rest of the food we were advised that is the way the kitchen works. We will not be returning here as when we go out for a meal as a group we like to dine as a group. Left to go to another venue to get deserts at same time.

Had a lovely meal, tama squid and beef ramen were exceptional, our waitress Millie was brilliant help with my low spice tolerance overall great wagamamas!

The service was impeccable! Thanks to Imogen, such a wonderful soul! Took the best care of our needs and was so cheerful and kind. Will visit again for sure! Thanks to Imogen again :)

Lovely food for lunch and good knowledge from the waiting staff about choices, perhaps some background music would be nice

It sometimes feels a little cramped on the tables but the staff are nice and the food is always good.

Very good. One main was very delayed, but an excellent experience. Waiting staff (Fran in particular) really excellent and patient!

Went to try the new vegan menu and had no duck tombusi, bang bang cauliflower and banana katsu. It was good, especially the cauliflower. Tasted the vegan sticky ribs and the vegan chili squid which was also good Seats are not that comfortable at the benches when sat for a full menu and drinks Can be noisy when full, especially if you have sensory overload issues. New vegan menu items were really good. Like the new rewards app that works as a payment option too

I took my daughter and a friend here for lunch last Saturday. The food was good, as always. The service was decent. One thing that happened was even tho we ordered starters, and I know the food comes as it is ready, my friend got her main instantly AND it was cold. Of course we returned it and even suggested that it probably came off of another table. It was not made for us.

Delicious food. I had the mushroom bao and tofu donburi. Reliably good food and service here. Very good for veggies and vegans. Plus Royal William Yard is such a fantastic location. Our waitress was Roxy. She was super friendly and helpful. Would recommend.

my partner and i popped in yesterday afternoon for some dinner and our server was Imogen! They were the most loveliest, kindest and attentive person! They made sure we had everything we needed and really helped when we stuck on whether something was spicy or not. Please give all our love to Imogen! Fantastic visit, and we will be back soon <3

Beautiful building 🤩 Had some issues with our food timings but it was perfect otherwise and the manager fixed it all up for us. Just like any wagamamas it's great 👍

Delicious food brought out to us almost immediately, seated at a lovely table looking out on the marina. Excellent service from all staff members, particularly Alyssa who was extremely attentive and friendly, even giving us superb recommendations on both food and drinks. Would highly recommend popping in for a filling meal at a very reasonable price!

Waited a short amount of time for the first meal however the next 5 to follow took any amount of time from 10 minutes to half an hour so by the time the last meal arrived the first was cold and nearly finished. Service started to slow after the food order was taken even though we needed a few more things through out the meal, we had to keep asking but I do understand it’s busy. This probably can’t be helped but we also had a lot of flies surrounding our table so ruined the atmosphere for us. Normally love it here and will continue to return as I’m hoping it was just due to the amount of people that let it down today.

Food was delicious. Some confusion over our order, but all was sorted out by super helpful staff. Our waitress, Jane, was warm and welcoming.

Love Wagamam, the food comes out as soon as it’s really so it’s always fresh. Never not enjoyed a meal from this chain regardless of local, never fails to provide a delightful experience.

First time I've been the service was second to none the food was gorgeous.

Visited on a warm summers evening, sat outside and enjoyed a perfect chicken katsu and wok fried greens. Great service and possibly the best Waggas location in the uk. As a side note the restaurant building is formerly the home of 1st Raiding Squadron Royal Marines. The ground floor unit was both the outboard engine workshop and inflatable boat storage area.

Every time I am in Plymouth, I visit this place religiously. lol Delicious food, excellent staff services super clean, great location and love the pints. If you are in Plymouth, I would highly recommend.

Really unique venue, we had a really nice meal here. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and allowed us to sit near the window even though the tables were laid out in a slightly strange 4 - 2 layout. Food tasted as good as ever.

Had a fantastic time, food as ever was amazing. But I have say the food was out staged by the level of customer service display by our server Nathan. Great attitude and extremely accommodation. Also would like to thank the cook for working our dietary issues. Great work guys, keep it up

Had a lovely meal at Wagamama’s today. Food was fresh and delicious as always. Great waiter with a good sense of humour which made lunch even more enjoyable.

Half empty bowl, massive pieces of vegetables just thrown in a broth and one tteokbokki. Very disappointed and bad value for money.

I went with 3 friends to Wagamama Plymouth Friday night. It was not an enjoyable experience and I will not go there again. The service was not good. It took a long time to get a drink but the most disappointing thing was that the meals were served one at a time with over 17 minutes between the first and the fourth plate arriving. The food was mostly good but a friend had to ask for more sauce to cover the rice. The Place was very busy and very noisy, I accept that most people will be OK with this. When we complained we were told that's how they do it at Wagamama. But when I go out to eat in a group of four I expect to eat as a group. We did get a free drink and the additional curry sauce was also free.

Welcomed with a big smile and taken care of during the visit. The food was exceptionally tasty, i have eaten Waga in many places but this is the best. Veg cooked to perfection and i cannot fault anything.

This restaurant clearly doesn't believe in dining together when you visit. My wife had finished her meal by the time I had received mine, having had to ask where it was. We saw another couple having the same issue, one eating the ramen while the other sat twiddling their thumbs waiting for their meal to turn up. This is not how it should be! Kitchen, sort yourself out!

Our entire group loved the food. The service was good but nothing special and there was no real atmosphere there as it was the middle of a week day and there were very few customers. I can imagine there would be a great atmosphere in the evening or midsummer days when there are more people around.

I went there to collect my order every one was ignored me I waited 11 minutes I asked one female with glasses bit tall brunette she was rude. I mean very rude I will never go back there . I said excuse me ? She said it’s not ready yet she raised her voice . I said okay and left straight away. They don’t care about delivery drivers . Shame for those who employ people like her

First visit. Great setting with lots of space and nice decor. Food was amazing. Shame it didn’t all come out together but apparently that is the norm. Only downside was when we arrived, asked us to sit on the end of a bench with another family. Totally understandable if busy but there were 14 free tables! Saying that, when we asked for our own table, they happily obliged. Would definitely go again

Whenever i come here it is always lovely food. However i felt the service today from susie was amazing. I felt like she was a friend i hadn’t seen a while and any questions or needs were answered and sorted promptly! Thank you susie for a wonderful end to date night and i hope you get to watch kung fu panda 4 soon ;) xx

Japanese styles restaurant, was very busy when we went in but staff were friendly and the food arrived quickly considering how busy it was. Got a good selection of food and drink on the menu and also cover for different dietary needs, vegan ect. Would recommend if your after a quick and easy bite to eat.

A very pleasant evening at wagamama, the staff were great and the food good. Save room for desert, it will be worth it.

Awful experience food all came out at different times 20 minutes apart so non of us ate together as a family and 4 year old son waited an hour for food which was left on the top of the kitchen for 15minutes and was sent back as was freezing cold. Staff hadn’t got a clue what they were doing and no one seemed to be in charge so the service was awful! I wouldn’t bother going at peak times if you want to eat together and want any sort of service. 20 minutes after eating our table still hadn’t been cleared so we gave up on any desserts and left.

disappointing meal. Served by rude arrogant children. The food was completely different to the wagamamas in Glasgow. We also mentioned to the server that my friends food was lukewarm, and our reply was would you like me to put it in the microwave in a very sarcastic manner. A very rude young man with baggy clothes and lots of uncovered piercings all over his face. We felt cared for. we had to clear our own table. We also got accused of not paying when we walked out even know that wasn't the case we had paid in for just an embarrassing experience. Unfortunately this visit was a complete disappointment

First time visiting a Wagamama’s and omg was it amazing! The food was so fresh and delicious, with such a decent portion size for the price too. Loved how chilled it felt in there even with lots of people. Friendly attentive staff, and didn’t take long for the food to arrive either. Will definitely return soon for another special occasion :)

One star is enough for this place I forgot what i had but they brought with charcoal , it wasn’t nice at all i asked for change they brought same but it wasn’t chicken on it for 3 persons £75 that’s on believable for that food never again I recommend to not to go there at all

Wagamama is now too expensive. Yes, the food is great, but even with a £50 voucher, we still had to put £30 towards the bill. We only had 1 starter, 3 mains, and 3 drinks. So unfortunately will never return.

Went on a non reserved impromptu dinner on Sunday and was quite busy. We were greeted by a lovely host that was in her first days ( biggest and nicest smile) in RWY location. The food was amaazing crispy squid and pork gyoza to share and i had chicken ramen! plus chouxnut for dessert! i could eat everyday there and out waiter Joe was lovely. a great evening, couldn't fault it

Always consistently stunning food, always helpful. Can be busy but a good quick turn around so you don't wait long.

Expensive but worth every minute

The staff were super friendly and helpful; they explained the Wagamama process to me as it was my first time dining there. The food and drinks arrived swiftly. Everything was delicious and well-portioned. The atmosphere was cosy and the facilities were very clean. I highly recommend!

Food came out at different times and when I asked where my partner’s meal was they just said that’s how the orders are made at different times! So if you want to eat together at the same time you’re better off going somewhere else! The staff just said “Oh we are sorry about that”, offering no complimentary drink or anything. The first meal came and was eaten by the time the second meal came. Please note these were main meals no starter or dessert was ordered. Meal total was £29 not a good overall experience for the money.

I love Wagamamas, don't get to go often enough - but please Wagamamas, take farmed salmon off the menu. I didn't notice it on the menu as, being a vegan I have too much to choose from, but I have just seen a petition on this which I support. The animal cruelty and environmental damage caused by salmon farming is well-known. Please don't be associated with this. From an otherwise very happy diner.

Forgotten meals chased several times but still served after 3 other adults had been served and finished their meals

Awful would highly not recommend my main was tepid at best with burnt segments and lacking flavour. The waiting staff handled chopsticks point end in hand and my wife's main meal was cold by the time any of the other dishes were served.

Family favourite, can't go wrong with a waggas

Attended for a friends birthday meal. The last person received their food 30 minutes after the first, which was really poor. The food was at best average, we were asked to send in our order before attending but the branch didn’t receive it which wasn’t our fault and potentially contributed to the delay.

Lovely location for a Wagamama. Their deep frier was out the day we went though, so we couldn't get our favourites.

Amazing staff and food as always . The waitress had amazing knowledge and understanding of food allergies.

Our server Jane was really good, very friendly and helpful, our food was lovely, my husband wasn't too keen on the hoisin duck bao but that rest of our meal was lovely we recommend the cheesecake and Japanese treacle chouxnut very yummy.
