Some renovations going on with the interior, but what a curry. Lamb dish with a citrus fruit added. Never had a dish like it. Finished every last morsal. First time eating in. Really enjoyed the meal. Many thanks. Will definitely be back.

This is my new go-to Indian takeaway, it's easily in my top 3 of all time (I've eaten a lot of curries from different places over the years). It's the only top quality Indian restaurant on Uber Eats - I've tried many places on the delivery services, nowhere else comes close. I've always collected in person from other places before finding Volsharn on Uber eats, but these guys do make a proper nice curry. The food always arrives piping hot, the delivery drivers are friendly & the food arrives on time. Food quality itself is spot on, it's exactly what you'd expect if you were to go for a sit down meal at an Indian restaurant - they make really tasty perfectly spiced curries, soft naan & good portion sizes. 10/10

Found this place by chance while following a diversion from the M20 to the M2; after 8 hours of driving up from Devon We were ready for dinner but were not holding our breath . . . A pretty non-descript exterior; not much atmosphere inside, but boy, simply the best Indian we had eaten in the 3 years since moving from Bexley. An absolutely 1st class chicken curry, bombay aloo, veg rice and nan; popadoms to start plus a large cobra and 2 glasses of wine; all for £43. Not somewhere I would go for an occasion, but if we lived locally, would absolutely use once a week simply for the quality of the food. Highly recommended.

Lovely tender meat, got an extra sauce and poppadoms at no extra cost. Nicely seasoned and arrived hot. Couldn't fault it, will definantly order again. The brocoli bargee was especially nice

We've ordered takeaways and dined in the restaurant many times. However, the last couple of visits have left us feeling disappointed. We were the only family in the restaurant and yet the waiter couldn't even bare to crack a smile during the whole time we were there. He mumbled his words. He didn't even ask if everything was ok with the meal or if we needed anything else. The restaurant itself now looks very run down, and I would even say dangerous with wires on show everywhere, block work on show and broken windows. The food is still nice, but there is better locally. Such a shame.

Most awful food and service! Dirty and tacky wiring and broken door to the kitchen! You can hear the staff arguing at the back I'm not sure how this place gets so many 5* reviews when you go there you will realise that these reviews are fake because it is no where anything near that if I could give a zero review I would! Take my advice don't waste your money!!!

Came for a curry with a mate for a catch-up. Food was great as was the service but in the 2 hours we were in the restaurant, we were the only people in the place apart from the staff. Peak dinner time 7pm on a Wednesday night. This place is far too good for a deserted restaurant. Need to draw more customers as atmosphere and food is very good for Strood!

Although the curries were both amazing to be taste it was incredibly disappointing for the order to have taken more than an hour to arrive despite the maximum time for delivery at the time of ordering being 35 minutes!

Top quality Biryani & extras. Felt really sorry though for the delivery guy who, in pouring rain, had to sit outside the Travelodge & despite asking the reception team to contact me in my room, would not. It was only when I checked my phone & saw missed calls that I was able to go & collect my meal. But, once again, I have to stress that the food itself was excellent, really aromatic, no chillies or anything hot & the curry sauce was also delicious enough to be a meal in it's own right. *****

The poppadoms were very stale, like they were cooked hours ago. The chicken tikka masala did not taste as normal, it was orange in colour, lumpy not smooth and the chicken was not nice. The lamb tikka was nice. half of it went in food waste unfortunately. not what we usually get.

Unfortunately the butter chicken did not taste nor look like it. It resembled the colour of rose Marie sauce and didn’t have much flavour. The tikka masala was so spicy it felt more like vindaloo and again didn’t resemble much of a Tikka. This is a first time purchasing from this establishment and sadly will be the last. I will however mention that we had an abundance of chicken in our dishes and the nann was spot on.
