Arrived quickly, it arrived hot, the curry and biryani was very fragrant, had a lovely flavour. The chicken tikka was moist, nicely spiced with a hint of yoghurt, it was delicious.

We have eaten in this restaurant many times now and the food is always cooked to perfection with good portion sizes too. The staff and very welcoming and attentive. We ordered a set meal for 2 this evening which was delivered within 35 minutes and we were honestly blown away by the freshness, quality and quantity of our meal. Thank you 🙏🏼

Absolutely awful experience. Ordered a delivery which arrived 2 hours after ordering it. When it arrived the poppadoms were in bits covered in what had leaked from the dishes. Won't be using again.

Where to start. To start, I'd like to say the waitresses are not 100% at fault. Got seated and beer order taken. Bottled Kingfisher and Flat draught cobra. Cobra class was chipped. Told the manager and he walked off. OK I carried on drinking the other side of the glass. Starter of chicken memo was ridiculously dry. There was music on but this soon turned to silence so there was no atmosphere and therefore we heard all the complaints from people ordering online who's orders hadn't gone through. The owner wasn't phased despite the waitresses telling him and chefs. Downside to waitresses, they were more focused on their phones and Facebook than their customers. Main course came out with cold rice and rice we didn't order. We mentioned this to the waitress and she offered to change it but after waiting 45 minutes from starter to main and being told "it'll be five minutes" I didn't want to run the risk. The main was dire. Bhuni tasted like coop ketchup and my friends madras (given I hate spicy food) didn't taste of anything. When paying, the owner gave me the bill and I stated again a about the chipped glass and he did not know what I was saying until i ran my finger across across it and then threw it in the bin. I refused to pay for a majority of the bill but I couldn't talk to the owner. I turned around to the female server and asked "does he not understand" to my amazement she said "no he doesn't understand english". I remember when Naj was Vouzon and was much tastier and awesome service. Will NEVER return.

After 2 hours and 15 minutes after ordering and calling the restaurant several times and being fobbed off saying the order should be with u in 5/10 minutes, we call again to cancel the order at 9.30 pm saying its too late and we going to bed. We get told to not call there again. disgraceful behaviour and awful customer service. Really recommend people don't order from here.

After a friend mentioned he was going for a Curry tomorrow night, but unfortunately he isn’t coming here. I instantly thought I need a Naj in my life. After a 14 hour day starting at 5 in the morning, I know I had to go. So after a quick shower I jumped on the road to make the 25 minute journey Naj. Once again I wasn’t disappointed. I don’t think I ever will be. The fresh popadom dips was unbelievable, the Tamarind sauce is great addition to the dips that not a lot of curry houses do. My Shami kebab was excellent. For all you Chilli loves why not have your starter extra hot. Just How I like it. The portion sizes are massive. Especially the rice which has to be Keema. I finish it off with Chilli Cheese Keema Naan. With it being Banquet night I got a Starter, Main, Rice & Naan for only £15.99. This really is the best food for the best value for money you can buy. Curry's can be an expensive turn out and put people off buying the, but not her. You will be amazed. The staff are so pleased and courteous as always. You won’t be disappointed.

🍛 Congratulations to Naj Indian Cuisine for winning the 2023 Kent Curry Club of the year award. They have been presented with their award and was very Humble and excited when receiving it. Kent Curry Club has been going since 2017, We are a group of friends who wanted to explore the finest Curry houses across kent. It was formed because as we get older, with not being able to see friends as much, with work and family commitments, it’s the perfect excuse on the first Tuesday of every month to meet up have a catch up and eat a lovely curry at the same time. Each venue is rated and scored in its specific Categories. These are: * Starters * Main * CCKN (Chilli Cheese Keema Naan) * Service * Value For Money. Each Category is scored out of 10 by each Curry Club Member that attends. The highest and lowest score given in each category is erased and an average is found. Each category is added together to give an overall Score for the Curry House. We visited Naj Cuisine back in March where we was blown away by the quality of their food and service they provided. The generous portions sizes and their attention to detail made our experience outstanding. Naj scored an impressive 43.5/50 and we revisit them to present them with their award on January 2nd which was our 68th Curry Club and they didn’t disappoint. Actually beating their previous score with a very impressive 44/50. The winner of each year is revisited in January, where they are given another chance to win this prestigious award for the coming year. We also do a Summer Curry Club in June when we travel a little further on the first Saturday. We also do a Christmas Curry Club also on a Saturday where we visit a curry house at the famous Brick Lane, London. Thank you to Naj Indian Cuisine for another outstanding night with with you. It’s going to be hard for another curry house to beat you this year and I can definitely say you have great chance we will be seeing you next January. Thanks to all the staff and a special mention to Head Chef Mohammed Faruk-Uddis, The Manager Jas Singh and Owner Bhar Singh They use the same Chef everyday so you will always get High Quality cooked food. The Banquet night is an absolute steal. Sunday - Thursday 1 Starter , 1 Main , 1 Rice & 1 Naan for £15.99 We highly recommend this restaurant. I am visiting it again next week and can’t wait.

One of the best curries I’ve had in a long time! We went yesterday for New Year’s Eve and the waiter was amazing and attended! Would definitely recommend and be back soon!

Went to pick up a large takeaway order, immediately treated to a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food was delicious and very filling, not a thing missing on an order for 18 people and was perfectly punctual. Highly recommend!

A great little restaurant, our son has told us about it before, so we thought we would give it a go... and I'm glad we did. The food was delicious, the service was excellent and I think because this is a fairly small restaurant, it creates a really lovely atmosphere. It was busy all the time we were there and lots of people came in to pick up takeaway, so obviously very popular. I will most certainly be going back and would definitely recommend it.

When we make a family visit to Hoo we always try and visit the Naj. The food is alway excellent and service second to none. The early part of the evening we were well served by local students who the manager later told us he makes a point of employing, then later on the manager/owner took over and was most pleasant and helpful. All in all, an excellent night out thanks to The Naj and all who work there, mustn’t forget the chef !

Went here end of May and the service was terrible and unprofessional sat down and was shown to our table and and we sat down we ordered some popadoms and drinks and when the popadoms came out they tasted stale and the cobra I ordered was warm and tasted watered down, my wife just ordered a coke and it was not real coke it tasted like the fifteen pence coke (or should I say cola) you get from Tesco the young boy (probably around 16/17) was incredibly rude to us and to another table I overheard too. It was a very disappointing experience for me and my family. I suggest avoiding this place as the service is incredibly slow and the food and drinks are terrible. Honestly it’s not worth the money.

Lovely food, eaten here many times, lamb vindaloo is absolutely gorgeous goes banging with a keema naan ! Excellent customer service, very friendly and always down for a good chat if anything I come back just to speak to the lads in there. Get a free beer with every collection… what more can I ask ??? Ordered a takeaway, never used before but it was recommended.. This was the worst Indian food iv ever ordered , the lemon rice had a disgusting aftertaste it ruined all the food, my husband tried it and had to spit it out , the currys were swimming in oil, I had to drain it off ! When I phoned them to make them aware all I got was a blunt 'sorry about that' nothing more or no offer of alternative.. terrible customer service! Not sure how they got all the other stars on recommendations.. EDIT .. NAJ .. I DID NOT HANG UP AS YOU SAY IN YOUR REPLY. BEING BUSY IS NOT A VERY GOOD EXCUSE!

Visited with my daughter who lives locally. We have been to The Naj before and gave a positive review. The food this time was as good if not better which prompted me to leave another positive review. The team who served us were really good at their job, were there if you wanted them but not annoying like some restaurants. Well done and thank you everyone at The Naj. When I am in town again we will visit and hopefully enjoy another pleasant evening.

My new favorite restaurant, best service I've ever had from Dharmendra and Chloe Ann, they was so kind that we was given free drinks, this was the first indian food I had ever had and it was so nice, definitely going to go more often, I forgot to give a tip which I regret as it was really deserved.

Ordered chicken tikka main course, asked if it came with side salad and thumbs up it was a yes. Then a chicken tikka dhansak and a plain and keema nan bread....only 4 items What we got, chicken tikka main course without the salad, chichen dhansak (not tikka, like I asked for and paid for) and the 2 nan breads, chicken was dry and what a waste of £21...... Won't recommended and won't use again...:(

Family meal here was just perfect. We decided, as we wasn’t celebrating Christmas, to have lunch at The Naj. From the moment we stepped inside we were treated amazingly - food was delicious, service impeccable! Despite us being the only guests the atmosphere was lovely! Thoroughly recommended. Thank you!!!

I had a home delivery tonight supposedly from Naj in Hoo. It was shocking. Keema rice was delivered as Coconut rice Chicken Tikka Masalla was watery and chicken not a good texture. I have eaten at the restaurant and the food was very good. This was very poor. Won’t go back again. In fact I won’t get a delivery again as I’m not sure of the foods origin. I did not eat the rice as it’s coconut. Sauce to watery. Poor

Cannot fault one bit. The food is absolutely fantastic and so tasty! Very generous portions and great whether in the restaurant or take away always the best quality and service. Would highly recommend to anyone. The guy who was front of house was so accommodating and friendly and went out of his way to make sure we had the best experience and meal! Been ok before but tonight the hyperbad murg was green and full of dessicated coconut nothing like before, there was so much coconut it was really bitty.it was also watery the bhaji were so spicy they burnt our mouths. We won't use them again

My daughter and I had a takeaway from The Naj, Lamb Rogan, Chicken Tikka Massala, sag aloo, and vegetable rice. Cost was just over £20, the portions were really good and the quality top notch. It was our first visit to The Naj and certainly not the last. The young man who served us was most polite and a pleasure to deal with.

I've been using The Naj for years now and like most they have had ups and downs. A recent change of hands however has not affected the quality of the food at all, with the same chef putting out food that is absolutely spot on!!😋

We had hardly sat down before being asked for drinks order and popadoms. Two minutes later we were asked for our food order. Then before we had really started the popadoms they asked of they could bring the main course! We asked for a delay , but then were asked by again by a different member of staff, by then we felt as we were being constantly watched until we said yes to bringing the main course. The food was fine, but the experience made us feel rushed and uncomfortable.

Never had any issues with this place. We've only had takeaways from here, yet to go in, but we've always enjoyed the food every time we've ordered from here. Always delivered on time and nice and hot. Much better than our local one that's round the corner from us.

starters onion bhaji Absolutely lovelyPrawn puree.Excellent but a little to much oil Poppadoms very light dips are lovely.Main courses Chicken tikka absolutely lovely cooked to perfection.Butter chicken tastes just like a korma very unusual it definitely was a korma NOT BUTTER CHICKEN..as butter chicken isn't yellow in colour.Chicken Naga.is ok but i little tame but hubby could have asked for it to be more spicy.Vegetable rice lovely Pilau Rice lovely Keema Nan and plain Nan both absolutely lovely and light and fluffy.BUT MY OVERALL VIEW IS NO DIFFERENT TO THE OLD MANAGEMENT AND CHEFS.

I ordered the first Indian delivery meal in over 3 years today from this restaurant and was disappointed to say the least. The dishes were watery and very oily. The Chicken in my madras was over cooked and tasteless ,the sauce was watery with a covering of oil. The Tarka Dhal was more like a soup consistency without the crispy fried onion topping associated with this dish. I know ordering on a Saturday night is the the busiest period but the food was badly cooked and I would avoid this restaurant My ratting would be 1 star

Twelve of us visited last night to celebrate a 15th birthday it was a fantastic evening. Everything was spot on the surroundings the service and the food and drinks we will certainly be visiting again shortly.

Second time we have ordered a takeaway from here for delivery, following the now poor quality from our regular curry house in Lower Stoke. Both times it turned up within 10 mins of estimated time. Best takeaway Indian I have had for a long while.

Since moving I have found their dishes to be of great quality and even through this pandemic, are able to sustain the quality.

Food was pretty good. Mixed grill was excellent; as was the rice. Curry was a little watery and tasteless. Bread was by far the best!

Ordered for 6:40pm so after sons bath time but came 20 minutes early so in the middle of it, making me rush bath time and lukewarm food instead of hot.

As we like traditional Indian cuisine, we asked for all dishes to be "spicy" - the Naj got it bang on , excellent meal , delivered nearly on time .

But our order just took 1hr and 45 minutes. If this wasn't bad enough I got a regular chicken Madras and not a tikka as ordered. Maybe it isn't the best time to order at the moment.

Waited over an hour for delivery to then have 2 pilau rice missing then had to wait another 45 mins for them to be delivered.

Delicious! I used to think this curry house was average and searched wide and far for a decent one but I have to say the last year or so the meal we get delivered has been simply delicious. We tend to order a lamb balti with pilau rice and the past ten or so we have had have really been good. Vegetable dishes can be hit and miss but this meal we have just eaten has been spot on hence me writing this positive review. Try the balti best in Hoo!

Sorry to say the standards of this restaurant are dropping. Recently had a home delivery and it was below usual standard. Long delivery time. Order wrong. By the time it was delivered we didn’t fancy it so a lot got wasted. The quality not great either. Naj you need to get a grip , you were the best Indian in the Village. But not any more sorry to say.

Think this has now become our favourite restaurant! Moved into the area about 8 months ago and this is the best Indian around!
