The Spring menu advertised outside sounded just what we wanted. When we went in the a la carte menu was presented. You had to ask for the one advertised, it wasn't offered, which was disappointing. The food we had was well cooked, well presented and tasty. Service slightly disappointing.

Staff were wonderfully helpful and polite but the food was a little disappointing. No one even mentioned what level the meat was cooked too. Sometimes it was blue sometimes it was overly well done. The salad bar was lovely but no one was stirring the food so for example the mash developed a hard layer under the heat light. The meat needed seasonings. The pineapple cinnamon was to die for though it saved the meal

My husband and I have come here a couple of times now and have enjoyed our experience every single time. We would highly recommend this place and it’s definitely worth your money. All the meat is cooked to perfection and you can even request the meat be cooked how you would like. The salad bar has loads of different options to try and the food is always fresh. All of their drinks and desserts are always really good as well. But what made our experience 5 stars was our server Abraham who was super friendly and made sure we were taken care of the whole time. So definitely give this place a try you won’t regret it!

Nice enough food. A mixture of juicy meat and slightly dry salty meat. Very big difference in quality of the meat. Boring salad bar. A sweet and young waiter gave good service and deserves 5 stars. Unfortunately the other waiter was very fast talking, very pushy and rude. Therefore, it will only be 3 stars in total. The atmosphere is nice, but they try to be more Brazilian than they actually are. The prices are a bit on the expensive end. Not the biggest recommendation, but it was fine.

I came here with my sister in search of some delicious food & we were not disappointed! We both had a rodizio especial, which was £28.95 and a pint of Coke. The especial allowed you to have 1 serving of up to 7 different meats, including lamb and steak. They also offered a full rodizio, which was £38.95, and allowed you to have unlimited servings of all the meats on offer. They both included unlimited trips to the salad bar, which included chips, sautéed potatoes, garlic mash, salad, rice, and much more! The food was absolutely amazing and the meat was brought round on a regular basis, although you could turn your traffic light to red to say you didn't want any more, until you turn it back to green! The service was great and it was quite busy for a Wednesday evening! Overall, I would definitely recommend this place!

Our daughter took her dad and me for a birthday lunch today 10th of April. Michelle has been before but it was our first time we thoroughly enjoyed the food, and the atmosphere, and the guys who served us were great 👍 We will definitely be back 😀

It's been about 10 years since I was last here and wanted to try again after spending all our Rodizio time in Fazenda! I would recommend you go to Fazenda. The 3 stars was entirely for our Waiter, Mohammed who was fab! Lunch time salad selection was poor compared to other restaurants of same cuisine. Some of the meats were really sinewy. I ordered peppercorn sauce but beef gravy came to me instead so I raised the issue and the sauce was brought back out with crushed pepper on top! 🤦🏼‍♀️ When I sent it back, they told me it was their version...it was NOT peppercorn sauce. I felt like I was being unreasonable The plates are also really small here and you are given just one whereas in other restaurants you can get extra side plates for the salad bar. It's falling behind in my opinion. 5mins in the opposite direction to Fazenda.

Abraham and the whole team at Viva Brazil are exceptional, they make the experience worth every single penny. Food great, staff are the best in the city.

Haven't been for a while....wish I'd gone back sooner... Had forgotten how great this place is. Food to die for (even if you're fussy), fantastic cocktails (extensive alcoholic drinks too), friendly atmosphere, fantastic service....and to top it all there was a magician entertaining each table....dress up or casual you feel at ease....oh...did i mention the food.... AMAZING !!!

I would honestly say it’s not really worth the price. Our bill came to £100 for just the two of us and a lot of the meat we were brought was cold and chewy. This was really disappointing as it was our first date out since having our baby and it feels like a bit of a waste. The meat that was freshly cooked was lovely but unfortunately we ended up with mostly the cold chewy fatty meat. Our server was lovely but we asked for tap water for the table and ended up paying £4 for that.

Fantastic experience here as always, the food is incredible - the salad bar is high quality, and the cinnamon pineapple is not to be missed. The meat is obviously the star of the show, but was pleasantly surprised to discover the vegetarian ala carte is also extremely good.

Great Brazilian all-you can eat barbecue.

I usually don't post reviews, but this place deserves to be know by all. The magnificent strips of meat brought not but the most whole pleasure and joy to all who I was with, including a very pleased me. Every single slice of succulent food was a euphoria of flavour, like heaven on Earth. To call this place anything except for pure paradise is an affront to all that I hold dear. It is a true shame that I cannot give this place more stars. 10/10- Satisfaction incarnate

Good selection different meats.

Absolute 5 star recommendation. We were there on a Saturday evening quite spontaneously and without a reservation. It was packed, but the staff was super friendly and calmly arranged a table for us. Super friendly staff throughout and the food was a real highlight. So if you're in Liverpool and like meat, go there straight away.

Went for my fiancé’s birthday and it was absolutely lovely. The flip to get meat card was so funny and the meat was amazing. The strawberry cocktails are also so lovely if you like sweet alcohol. The cost is definitely pricey and more of an experience then somewhere i would go casually for a meal.

Very friendly and personal service, recommended for meat lovers, there is also a buffet with side dishes, you will definitely get your fill here.

I would like to present to my boyfriend the taste of the food of my country. So we went to the Viva Brazil that looked lovely inside. The staffs are adorable but the food isn’t worth the money. First we couldn’t choose a different type of “rodízio” what was ridiculous. The meat came very few times, the picanha was salty and most of the food on the salad table was dry and cold. Unfortunately, we had a terrible experience in our first time in this restaurant.

Lunch today, all the food was superb. Hours later and still the meat sweats are killing us off. £30 set menu for Christmas, normal menu, but drink and dessert included. Great value for money.

Great food served by lovely people

Enjoyed the Christmas menu! Lovely prosecco, meats all excellent as always. My favourite is the garlic steak and lamb. Churros for dessert were lovely too and I enjoyed my favourite mango and passion fruit mojito 🍹

A bit disappointed! So the service is based on a card system, card is on red you don't want food, card on green you do want food. Half way through the meal we had our card on green and we didn't get served for over 25 minutes. Shame because the food is nice, however for the price you pay you would be best going to Miller and Carter.

The place is good without being extraordinary, just as a suggestion check the menu before accepting the buffet because in our case what we ate was little and what we paid was a lot, and it happened because they did not give us a moment to review the menu!

Being the football traveling family we are, we found ourselves here on Thanksgiving Day. We scored BIG TIME and left full, happy and completely satisfied. Drinks were good, of course all the meats going around were perfect, then OMG… the cinnamon pineapple! My 13 y.o. May have eaten a full one himself. Friendly staff, clean floors and seating. Just fabulous. The one thing if you’ve ever had real Brazilian cheese bread, your better off not ordering them here.

Lovely place, had the Wednesday offer and it was good price and everything was tasty. Would definitely recommend it. Free bottle of wine too.

fantastic experience at VB last night - from the girl front of house, Abraham our server, the little Irish waitress, the guys bringing the meat round and even the magician was a great touch. still convinced Manuel was in on one of the tricks but I was too distracted by dessert to say for sure what was going on. definitely be back, thank you

Myself and my wife eat here on Saturday 11th November for my wife's birthday weekend away. The meal and service was excellent. Also we had the pleasure of some live magic from wellZy he was excellent and we kept a playing card as a souvenir. Fantastic night and someting unique and different with the magic. Will be back again.

Booked for my boyfriend's birthday at the end of November and can't praise this place enough. Lovely atmosphere and friendly welcome when we arrived, great explanation of how things work as it was our first time there. I'm vegetarian so I paid for the Christmas deal halloumi steak which included a drink and dessert, just going to say the portion was massive and delicious! Salad bar was really great too, although I was so full I didn't take full advantage. My boyfriend got the full works, unlimited meat, unlimited garlic bread and unlimited pineapple fritters. He loved it, the cherry on top was the service, everyone was so friendly and attentive. Can't wait to go back.

Food was amazing some of the best meats I've ever ate, ive been to many places like this and this was in my top 3.salad bar was great too. Nice atmosphere especially when they sing happy birthday ha. Certainly will be coming back here.

Terrible service. The meats were served in a very slow pace. Chicken, sausage and pork was served more often. Funny to see the garlic bread is added to the rotation of the grilled meats, served to your table on the same skewer. There were 5 tables dining in, so appalling to see the server will come out of the kitchen with small portions of meat, slicing the meat from the skewer like strips. I was expecting it will be a satisfying experience but the meat served was like ration in prison. Trying to laugh and smile with my partner just to make her enjoy the moment. But I cant believe that I was served with the last scrap of meat left from the skewer, which is a very thin strip. Honest review: Not worth to try for a meat eater. 0/5

This was so yummy. Make sure you go ham on the delicious cinnamon pineapple it's so scrummy. The staff were attentive and generous with the portions. Special thanks to Luiz and Jon who looked after us.

I am disappointed . I ordered a table for two. I emphasized on the phone that it was a birthday meeting. After receiving a table, we waited 20 minutes for wine and beer. even though I asked for it from 3 different service people. the restaurant wasn't full maybe 70%. we didn't get a plate for the glass. We waited about 15 minutes for our next drink after ordering. in the meantime, our plates were not replaced with clean ones even though there were a lot of bones on them. I had to ask for an extra napkin because I used mine to put the tongs on. the wine glass was dirty. During dinner, I left the table to remind her that I wanted to order a birthday surprise, and in the meantime I heard that someone had received one. food that fell on the table was not cleaned up. when I asked for the bill, I realized that my order for a birthday surprise had been ignored. I HAD ALREADY BEEN TO A RESTAURANT OF THIS TYPE CALLED FOGO AND THE SERVICE WAS MUCH BETTER, THE FOOD EQUALLY GOOD, SOME ITEMS LIKE CINNAMON PINEAPPLE OR PARMESAN STEAK, much better, others at the same level. at a higher price than at FOGO, I expected something special, but I was disappointed and I regret that I took my fiancé here for his birthday dinner

Often eat here when visiting Liverpool. Lunch deal is very good and quieter than the evening so easier to get a table. Kids eat free which makes a big difference!

Place was empty, cold atmosphere, £38ph knowing you want the meat selection yet salad bar wasn't all that. Had to pay it as was birthday choice... £190 bill wasn't compared to what I got.

Highly recommended if you visit Liverpool. Good meat and very good service. The Spanish and Latin waiters made us feel at home. They have a children's menu.

My team came on Friday as group 9, we had excellence service from staff and accommodated my issues being diabetic and helped best they could. I thought was good exp and would like to come again with partner who is disabled I noticed premises disabled friendly which is great. The only things I think could give advice to modify the garlic bread didn't taste much garlic, but I'm I'm a big garlic fan, others may like it lighter. When ordering full meat venue, the staff said can't order separate meals have to be all same. Some I have been to in Liverpool do allow different orders. I was diabetic and have to manage what salts and sugars to eat and portion size to ear as most wanted to eat full experience. I couldn't but had to pay full price. There should be option for people to order multiple rather than one for all. Even if it involves sept table being organised. But apart from that loved the place and staff. Salad Isle was good loved it

First came here 6 years ago and is definitely one of my favourite places to eat, staff are friendly and the food is nice. I like to try different things when I come from the salad bar and the meats are nice and come round at a good pace. Just don't over est as you will ruin the experience! Stop when your full 😂 I came out of here a couple times and over done it haha.

This restaurant is lovely and the food was fabulous but the low score was simply because of the way we were treated when the waiter took our order. There are two options: 14 cuts for £38 and 7 cuts for £28. The waiter said we have 14 cuts of meat, explained that but never mentioned that there was also 7 cuts. He put the menu under his arm and would not show us it. I accepted what he said but called him back and asked about the 7 cuts. He did not look happy and said that was also an option. I did hear him offer both options to a man sitting beside us. I did complain and was compensated but the message here is..beware tourists. I hope that this is not a ploy to offer only the most expensive option pushed by management. The manager was lovely so maybe not but I will not be going back because of their dishonest practices.

Second visit - FANTASTIC FOOD FANTASTIC service, can't say enough good stuff! Be prepared to walk it off after! Get the set meals.

I chose the fish from the a la carte menu, it wasn’t great, mediocre more precisely, however my friends were happy with their steaks. The magician at the end made up for the lack of taste in my food and brought a smile to my face eventually. I won’t be coming here anymore as I don’t like steak however my friends surely will.

My favourite restaurant. Food is spectacular. Service is great and drinks are lovely. Boss atmosphere and a great place to come with friends and family or date night.

been here a few times and love the food. the decor is nice. service is good athough we had a wobbly table once in a dark corner and the server didnt really care when i mentioned it even though we were the only customers in the resteraunt at the time lol i feel servers should give you a better seating if available

Came for dinner to celebrate our daughter coming to Liverpool uni, we arrived early and sat at the bar and had a drink and were entertained by the fantastic resident magician!! Food and service were fantastic, lots of choice from the buffet.

Was amazed at how professional their services was. Kept asking about our preference and if everything was OK. One of the staff even went in to take a nicer meat for me as I was busy snapping photos. Ordered the full rodizio and had all of the meat options on the menu. Meat was juicy and well marinated. Had a variation of things at the salad bar too. You will definitely love the cinnamon pineapple 🍍!

We had a post wedding meal here and it was just lovely. Décor and atmosphere is fab, concept is great, lots of choice and food is good quality, salad/sides bar is amazing with ample choice available and a bit different from the normal salad/sides bars you get. I called the review 'almost perfect' as the vegan option wasn't great for the price if I am to give an honest review - and yeah I know I'm in a Brazilian meat restaurant but for £22 I expect a decent vegetarian lasagne but I couldn't eat mine even though I'm a huge vegetarian lasagne fan. All the meat eaters loved their meals though. I couldn't end the review without mentioning the staff - they were perfect, amazing, lovely and helpful. Thanks you guys for making our special day such a lovely one with your amazing customer service. We will be back for sure - you guys are the best

Salad bar was good. Meat was ok, ribs and pineapple were fabulous. Staff were great. Best bit of our visit was the magician, Wellzy. I'm still trying to work out the price tag trick!

The staff are so lovely here! Theres a good range of drinks including ales, cocktails, beers, mocktails, wines and so on. Outside seating available.

Absolutely amazing from start to finish! Advised on the booking notes that we were attending for my partners birthday meal and when arriving I could see balloons were at our table! Such a lovely touch! We were served by the most lovely gent but I’m struggling to remember his name! He recommended the Brazilian cocktail strawberry for me was delicious! Meat was cooked to just how we liked it as they asked at the beginning! Fries were lovely and the salad bar and extras was delicious!! When finishing our food we was then presented with music singing happy birthday and all staff standing round clapping and singing with a cake and candle free off charge which again such a lovely touch! Amazing can’t wait to go again!

Poor service and expensive .Lack of waiting staff and constant empty dishes at salad cart which is too small for the restaurant.Not enough waiters who seem more interested in selling shots/cocktails to you rather than concentrating on serving.

Poor service from an expensive restaurant.Experience was ruined by waiting staff trying to push you to buy shots & cocktail’s, even charging extra for a pot of sauce after paying nearly £40 a head for full meat service.Salad buffet was too small for the size of the restaurant and staff were extremely slow to refill the dishes .Servers of meat at the table were good but other waiting staff were dealing with too many tables to offer a good service that is required.A bill of over £300 for 6 of us , it isn’t a cheap experience and wouldn’t bother again.

We visit twice, the first time we liked the service much more. I didn't like today at all. The meat, which was supposed to cost 27 pounds per person, was calculated for 37 pounds and the check came out to 100 pounds with drinks, it's very expensive for me. Don't deceive people. We were here two months ago and paid much less. The service was not normal at all. We will not return here again. I do not recommend it.

Good food, the salad bar is good and refilled in a timely manner. The meat is very good. Even if the delivery card shows red, the next course will be delivered. This means you can't eat in peace. If you object, it will take a while until the next meat course comes. Too many waiters attending to one, so there may be double deliveries. All in all a good meal with improved service

Lovely food and drinks and amazing service. Visited to celebrate my partners birthday and the service was great from the moment we arrived. Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again in the future!

Comparing to other Brazilian restaurants similar type it’s very low value. Meat very chewy and only picanta was nice and only one more meat. Grilled pineapple and garlic bread server by table for me seem ridiculous. Servers with meat coming to table very in very slow pace so we end up sit with sides only. Also salad table has very poor selection. On good side place has nice atmosphere, staff is nice and Caipirinhas was tasty. I’m pretty sure this place could do better. Won’t be coming back as there’s few more Brazilian steak/grill places that amazed me. Overall experience very disappointing.

Viva Brazil is great for those looking for something bit different whilst having a meal out. The food was lovely, as was the setting and general ambience of the place. Shame it can't be rated a 4.5/5 as that would have been on the money, with there only being some minor drawbacks - e.g some of the sides were unavailable - but this is being hyper-critical. Massive shout out to Abraham who was fantastic!

Absolutely fantastic experience all round. The food was out of this world, succulent meat cooked to perfection as much as you want, with unlimited salad bar which was lovely and very different to most restaurants. Desserts were a must especially the coconut & chocolate cheesecake & churros! Service was fantastic from the staff, very attentive and quick. The highlight of the meal for us was the in house magician. He absolutely blew our minds! Fantastic little touch to make our experience extra special! Viva Brazil was magical :)

We visited here for are 1 year wedding anniversary and loved it the food is amazing and the atmosphere is always great. The in house magician made are experience the extra bit special, his tricks were great and left us wondering how he did them. We will 100% return.

Meat being bought and cut at your table is great idea, however the portions were all over the place depending on who did the serving.
