Went with family for my birthday celebration. Claire and her team are super. Great food, lovely drinks and fabulous atmosphere. Have been before when in Aigburth and I'm always happy to return.

Lovely place for a drink, the atmosphere is great, the staff are friendly and everything is reasonably priced. The menu is varied with lots of meat, fish and vegetarian options. Everything was well cooked, however the flavours were a little bland and the food the dishes tasted very similar

Absolute cracker of a restaurant with some of the best food in Liverpool, go here regularly and couldn’t recommend it enough. Claire and her team do a great job, just make sure you ring up a week or so in advance to reserve as it’s usually fully booked!

Great place to eat, delicious food and Claire the owner makes everyone so welcome. Favourite dishes.... too many to mention, possibly the lamb skewers, tagine, Greek salad.... and many more. Highly recommended !

A group of us went to Sakara's for a few drinks and a couple of cheeseboards, which were perfect. This place has the warmest atmosphere and is made even better by the lovely staff who make sure everyone is having a great time and have everything they need. Claire never fails to make you feel at home, I can't recommend this place enough!!

We have visited Sakara on many occasions and are never disappointed. Tonight we came for a family Christmas Eve dinner. One word- delicious. Fresh, hot, tasty dishes served by friendly and professional staff. Completely COVID-safe and very comfortable. A gem on our doorstep.

I have visited Sakara for years and Claire works her butt off as do the girls and Micheal. Love coming there as it is practically my dads second home atmosphere is great. And the risotto is wonderful.

We have been going here for years. It just opened again after lockdown. Food tonight seemed to taste especially good. The variety of Tapas - meat, fish, vegetarian is as broad as ever. Highly recommended

El menú ofrece una gran variedad de platos pequeños: pato con tortitas, ensalada griega, riñones Doneson, pasteles de pescado tailandés, pinchos de cordero. . . Hay tantos grandes platos para elegir. El propietario siempre hace tiempo para que los clientes se sientan bienvenidos, ¡otros podrían aprender de este toque! Definitivamente nuestro lugar favorito.

El personal era muy agradable y servicial y el ambiente era muy agradable y relajado. Estuvimos allí toda la noche, nunca nos sentimos presionados, tuvimos una noche fabulosa que definitivamente vale la pena visitar

The best bar and restaurant in South Liverpool! Cozy, wonderful atmosphere, friendly staff and the owner/manager is so warm and accommodating, she couldn't do more for you! Our favourite place to go for a cheeky glass of wine or a delicious meal. The live music on a Sunday (possibly the last Sunday of every month) is fantastic! Definitely worth a visit.

Forget the last review. Lovely manager, great staff. Really nice place to relax, drink and eat.

Menú encantador Tres tipos de tapas para elegir; Carnes, mariscos, y vegetarianos. Teníamos dos platos cada uno y compartimos. El cerdo y fideos vietnemese era excelente. El cálido camembert y el pan eran traviesos, pero deliciosos. Si hubiéramos tenido espacio, habríamos ido por más porque nos imaginábamos todo lo que había en el menú. Así que tendremos que volver - y lo haremos.

First time I have visited This restaurant. I booked a birthday meal for a party of 9 and 14 actually turned up. Food was absolutely amazing, the place is small but has a lovely cosy atmosphere. Staff were lovely. I will definitely be returning soon.

I can’t believe it was such a long time since we last visited. I’ve eaten her three times in the last 4 years and every time it’s been spectacular. Well presented, great tasting, good service and all for a reasonable price.

Me encanta este lugar! ! La comida es excepcional, el maravilloso personal que sirve la amplia variedad de bebidas es realmente un atractivo también. Siempre me hicieron sentir bienvenido y hay un gran ambiente.

Qué encontrar. Es como porciones de tapas de diferentes países hoysin cursado egipcio, pato, pasteles de pescado tailandés, cerdo vietnamita. Todo delicioso. Sugerimos 3 platos cada uno con pan y aceitunas.

Un agradable bar, no demasiado concurrida, aunque era un miércoles. Muy personal que eran campesinos que buscan feliz cortés, amable y rápido. Música en un nivel donde no tener que escuchar su conversación, cepa. Encantador Bar para tomar una copa social y la conversación. Como visitante de Southport, sin duda aquí.

Met up with a friend to try out Sakara midweek. Really relaxed atmosphere and welcoming staff with plenty of friendly smiles. Food was very good. We ordered the Vietnamese Pork, Firecracker Rice, Thai Fishcakes and Red Thai Curry. All were freshly prepared and very nice, we ordered a second helping of the curry and rice (strongly recommended).Not expensive and good drinks available. Go, you will not be disappointed.

Sakara is just at the end of our road and we're so lucky to have it, it never lets us down (even on the odd occasion when we've been locked out.. :) ) . The atmosphere is warm, relaxing and friendly and service is excellent. We either go on a Friday night for a chilled drink or a Tuesday night and have the tapas deal- delicious- food is always freshly cooked and so tasty. The merlot is lovely too. Just book a table just in case though, it's always busy.

We are 3 couples with various tastes but all of us loved our choices. My personal favourite was Vietnamese Pork. The prawn dish was loved by all and the firecracker rice delicious. Can't fault the place. Great staff and good wine list too. Go fot it snd enjoy?

I must say this is probably one of mine favourite places to eat! Food is fantastic, we've eaten most everything on the menu and can't fault a dish! Claire the owner is very friendly and helpful, prices very reasonable and now serves a great cup of coffee as well !

Been there for a drink before but decided to have food this time - we ordered a few different dishes and there wasn't one I didn't like. The sea-bass was so tasty. Atmosphere is good too. Will definitely go back x

just returned home after a visit to the wonderful Sakara bar & restuarant, where Claire, the owner has started Afternoon teas throughout December ( and hopefully beyond!!)the tea consisted of sandwiches,cakes and scones, topped off with some Prosecco and of course a pot of tea, complete with china tea pot and cups!, The staff were excellent and the food was freshly prepared, tasty, and plentiful, well worth the visit and would recommend you book in advance, because its becoming very popular, Thanks Claire

I enjoyed this little bar/restaurant. The decor is a little bit all over the place Egyptian, Indian, and a few other cultures. That said its still a good venue. The menu is similar although good quality keenly priced food ids Thai English Spanish and again a few other cultures thrown in. I would say give it a whirl I did enjoy it but would struggle to say what cuisine it is.

Food is lovely,staff very polite and friendly, great place to catch up with friends,or cosy evening out for two.

We visited at the weekend for breakfast.The decor is really unique and staff are welcoming making a nice atmosphere.I had the mini breakfast, husband had full breakfast and daughter had pancakes. All food tasted great and was served in a timely manner.Only reason not 5 stars was that think with the mini breakfast should have side plates with toast as a bit messy trying to butter toast etc. With only one plate for main food. Also could do with a bit more choice on pancake toppings. That said we will still definitely return.

This is one of the best sunday brunches I have had. Delicious food (an excellent full English Breakfast) and quite extraordinary value for money. Very pleasant and attentive staff. I will certainly come back again!

This rather charming place does an excellent breakfast/brunch at very reasonable prices. The service is prompt and attentive and the quality of the breakfast very good. It comes with as much coffee/tea as you like. We were a party of six and five of us had the full English breakfast which included both black and white pudding and my husband had the smoked mackerel, potatoes and poached egg. It didn't include juice and I would have given it five stars if there had been good quality marmalade on the table and the tea had been served in a pot instead of a mug with a tea bag.We haven't eaten there in the evening but our friends assure us that the tapas are unusual and excellent and the garden is very pretty so we will go there on our next visit.

The food was lovely, service average, but the evening was spoilt by the temperature....it was freezing! we ate with our coats on, therefore we will not return. Shame as it has great potential

Went here on the off chance quite busy but still we were accommodated served in good time. Service was good. Food excellent as usual very reasonably priced compared with other tapas bars in Liverpool . Can see this place getting busier as it is one of the best places to eat around Aigburth great place also to go for a drink.

Visited this restaurant on a Saturday and despite not having a reservation we where made very welcome. Two tables put together to accommodate our party. Food and drinks ordered and delivered by friendly staff.Good selection of beers & wines available.We each ordered three tapas from the menu and were not disappointed with our selection. Not your usual range of tapas as the choice includes Asian, Egyptian as well as a good selection of vegetarian options. The food was excellent.The restaurant is not very big, but has a nice atmosphere. It can be a little noisy as people do drop in just for a drink.I would highly recommend a visit to this restaurant.

Went to the sakara mid week,as it's usually quiet. Food was excellent all cooked fresh and brought to us hot. Menu has a great choice for everyone balanced with meat ,fish and veggie options. Portion sizes were decent for tapas and reasonably priced.Wines and beers good selection and availability. The only fault was the wait for the food when it wasn't busy had too wait a little too long.

After a country walk we visited Sakara to relax and unwind.On ordering five (recommended for two persons)Tapas the portions of sardines were very small and could have been cooked in more oil. Chapati also too small (described by waitress as large) and the filling very dry..We were directed to the centre of the restaurant which was very busy as visitors were coming and going at the bar which became quite noisy mid evening. Filter coffee very poor not made with care... I think this place in my opinion is appreciated for its alcohol beverages and social gatherings not for couples to reminisce and enjoy a quiet meal and drink together.Colourful clean environment with lovely continental music.

We went on a Tuesday night when they have a special menu offer on. Great value and delicious food as usual. Staff are friendly and helpful and caring. Food is freshly cooked and very tasty. Small plates with a good range of tastes. Highly recommend you visit.

Having been to a local restaurant we went to Sakara to finish the evening and was extremely pleased to find this little gem. So much so we went there for Breakfast the following morning. The atmosphere and ambience is very pleasant as were the staff. A good selection of wines, beers and spirits. Not a very big place but comfortably arranged. breakfast the following Sunday morning started at opening time of 10:30 hrs and we were greeted politely and shown to our table. Endless tea and coffee was served with a good variety on the Menu. The Smoked Hash is a speciality and well worth trying if you like fish. The breakfasts were substantial, hot and served without interruption or a long delay. very well done to all who are involved with the operation of this restaurant and bar
