Most juicesiest tandoori chicken ever had,the most tastiest Bombay aloo ,the naan bread was made to perfection and the pilau rice was soft and fluffy. Everything was delivered fresh and hot .

when we arrived we were greeted pleasantly, the restaurant was not busy, maybe another 6 people at most besides our group of 5. we ordered our meal, and asked that the Naan Bread and poppadoms come with the starters. Fine up to now, but then the wait! 45 mins for the starters to come, with no Naan Bread, then another hour before our meal and Naan Bread came with poppadoms, the butter chicken which is a mild curry was inedible as it was too hot, and the Tandoori platter of meat was also the same, the rest of the meals were bearable, and then they had the cheek to add a 10% service charge on. This is the last time we will be paying a visit to this awful place.

I ordered earlier in the week, my food was nice so I tried to order on Thursday. Due to a technical issue with their online menu, I felt uncomfortable to give my card security code over the phone. Last night, I ordered online but the masala sauce flooded my plate with water and over half the chips were rock hard. My food was resent however, I was subjected to insults from the owner, "I've dealt with people like you before" but yet in the same sentence "that he'd been making food for years without any complaints" Having just looked at Vindaloo's reviews, recent negative feedback has been given. I'm to be "banned from ordering again" luckily, I won't experience his lacking charm again. The resent food was better, thankfully!!

Wanted to try this place out for the first time and i’m happy to say I will always order from here now, was greeted on collection for my order by their friendly staff given my food quickly when I arrived and the food was delicious nice and spicy just how I told them to make it! Will always recommend Vindaloo!

Got my food delivered early by the restaurant and was not disappointed with what I got! The food was hot when it arrived and was deliciously made to perfection, can confidently say that this is one of the best restaurants in wirral!

Been coming here many years and have had family events over the years for 18th and 21st birthdays etc. with up to 20 family and friends having lovely food and service. However, will never come back after tonight, arrived around an hour before closure and were provided with very rude service from Ali sorry disgusting service. We arrived at 9pm but were told order all your food (Starters, main etc) they are all coming as one plate? Closes at 10pm. One of our party asked for an additional serviette, the response was 'this is for her"!.Wife of friend told "she looks like a party girl'. If I could do zero stars i would for service but food great the rest ******. Food is fab and kitchen staff seem brilliant and very freindly while awaiting for the bill but service was awful from Ali it was actually embarissing so I and my family will not come back, very sad. If you want very poor service with a nice meal come here but be ready to feel abused by the service staff.

Absolutely disgusting .. £36 for 2 people and its gone in the bin. Over cooked, freezing cold and somehow tasteless. Rang to complain and had the phone put down on me. How hard is it to find a decent Indian takeaway? Disappointed to say the least.

Ordered 2 x oinio bajees Lamb kurma Rishi moris 1 Rice 2 garlic nan Disgusting meal Cold and doughy bahjees cooked in dirty oil Lamb fatty n greasy Kurma must have put a bag of sugar in it Nan ok Rishi moris was awful Requested a replacement meal Which was agreed too but unfortunately the same I will never order from there again Very dissapionted and an expensive do at £35 Do you self a favour and bypass it Ended up having cheese on toast Total let down Bindy bajee

Food was nice would order again but we ordered it for7 30pm and we got a phone call at 6.17pm from the driver to say I am outside your house with your food so he took it back and came back at the right time when we where in to take delivery

I've lived here 33 years & love proper curry! 1st time I've ordered from Vindaloo. Best one I've ever had here. So this will now be my 1st choice! Really enjoyed what I've eaten!

Went here for New Year’s Eve! Meal for 7 booked! It was busy in there for sure! Starters took ages to arrive! Plates not cleared for ages too! Zero interaction asking if our meal was ok etc! Mains took an eternity to arrive too! Also said we never paid a deposit and asked for proof! Really guys! I do think they couldn’t cope with the orders in the restaurant and kept taking online orders all the time! So not very good for me I’m afraid! Sorry.

Avoid this place at all costs!! Ordered at 1615, still waiting at 1930. When I called they said my order had been delivered…but who to?? Basically calling me a liar, said they will make it again so waited over an hour and then picked it up as still no sign of delivery. No apology either. Food was cold, chicken chewy and curry watery. Waited 4 hours for worst Indian I have ever had.

Excellent, I was traveling through in my way to the port. Had a meal with my wife. They don't serve alcohol but are happy for you to bring your own (This may change). The food is fresh and has depth of flavour. Wish I was a local as I would be a regular. Strongly recommend.

Rude ignorant staff wear cleaning table with furniture polish while we waited for take away order When I asked them to stop, I was ignored. Food was rubbish and overpriced. Not a nice place avoid at all costs.

just had 2 meals delivered worst ive ever had first and last time i place an order there

Pretty poor from start to finish. ordered take away and was told to come back in 15 minutes so did but then waited another 25 so that was the start of the experience ..... then got back home and realized they had not given us everything we ordered .... so we just managed with what we had. The good food first ..... the Daal was about the best and was very tasty .... Bombay Aloo not bad either .... then it went downhill .... the butter chicken was pretty tasteless and had a big blob of cheese on top (who ever puts cheese on Butter chicken ????) .... the seekh kebabs has some awful sauce on but that’s not surprising as they were frozen and were deep fried .... then the naan break was ok Have eaten Indian all over the world and maybe I compare it to my India experiences but even outside of India and compared to others in the area this has to be the worst experience ever ...too many other good places in the area to waste your time here .... unless you want good daal !😁

When we went in we were the only customers in the place, usually a sign to me not to stay, but we did and it was a pleasing stay. The service as you would expect (as we were the only people there) was good, the size of portions was enough for me,and the food was nice enough, I've had better but it was good enough to say I would come here again. The place was clean and I never had any issues.

Disgusting!! Awful service, had to ask to be served. Waited 2 hours for food, ordered starters and they didn't turn up. Naan breads came after we had eaten meal. Should have walked out!

The restaurant was busy, made me feel it was going to be a good experience, sadly not, food was poor, same as last time 2 years ago. Never to return.....

Got some Wirral healthy eating vouchers and though we would give the Indian a go. So pleased we did. Absolutely amazing. Every part of the meal had its own individual texture and taste. Th staff were so friendly and helpful too. This is now our new favourite takeaway.

My favorite Indian restaurant on the Wirral. They do a great offering at a great price, their service is fantastic and if I ever have any issue they are very open to any options on resolving it. The restaurant itself is beautiful and has a great atmosphere to truly enjoy a meal.

I have been visiting the Vindaloo for a couple of years now. Their food is always very tasty as you would expect from an Indian but the thing I like there doesn't appear to be any added colouring. The portions are a good size without over-facing you. You can take you own wine & beer. The staff are generally friendly. Service can be a bit slow when they are busy & there is a lot of coming & going with their delivery service. Apart from that I've never had a bad experience there.

Been here not enjoyed it at all, food tasted microwaved. Better off at the Ruhi Balti.
