The quality of the food is very bad. Very oily, the dips are more like water and the taste is not great at all. Definitely wouldn't order again.

What a disappointment. Arrived 30 mins late and 30 mins after app announced it was on its way, so was barely warm. One portion of rice missing, it was clearly 3 meals for 3 people. Food wasn't that nice at all and the whole lot was absolutely drenched in grease! Butter chicken shouldn't have a 2 inch layer of oil swimming on top of it, which then soaked the whole bag of food. Won't order again 😔

Simply took way too long to arrive and was approximately 45 minutes late. Was granted £3 credit on next Just Eat order but wait for food was ridiculous.

Dinner was cold. naan bread was rock hard and poppadoms were stale

The order was late. When it finally arrived it was freezing cold. I phoned the restaurant to tell them about it and the manager was very rude and unhelpful. He argued about the food being cold, despite it being 45mins late. A real shame!

this will sound bitter but is my genuine thoughts, I had a curry that was like thick brown water, no spice, no taste, nothing about it was good, my wife is a chef and her expertise said that it had been pre prepared, frozen and warmed up in the microwave or pan. the fact it was almost ice cold on arrival too confirms that for me. the chips also were reheated as we preorded this for when the restaurant opened and the chips were soggy and stale like you would get at the end of the night. AVOID!!

This was possibly one of the worst Chicken Kormas I have eaten. There was barely any flavour to it at all, the garlic naan had no garlic on and the chips were so soggy they didnt appear to have been cooked. Delivery was fast and biriyani was tasty but wont be ordering again/

The delivery time changed and no notification from you. I then chased and was told with no apology it would be with you soon. Delivery never arrived. And refund is awaiting you to process. All very disappointing as we now have no dinner and no refund

Must have been an off day well I hope that’s what it was. Tikka masala was so sweet and the sheer amount of coconut in it meant it tasted like a coconut syrup. The chicken pieces were like eating old school rubbers same was true for the biryani. A beige unappealing dry mess. One taste of each and the entire meal was put to rest in the bin.

I ordered from village indiya after some disappointing meals from other takeaways and I’m so glad I did. Wow amazing fresh flavours and plenty of it. We had lamb bhuna and chicken tikka jalfrezi (spicy) accompanied with mushroom rice, keema naan and onion bhajees, couldn’t fault it. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be ordering again soon excellent

Food arrived cold- From order to door took 19mins. We live 10mins from shop so I can’t see how our food was freshly cooked. Which I expect for the price.

Our delivery was missing a main dish which was frustrating as had to wait for it to be delivered again. The onion bhajis were so overcooked that we couldn’t even bite into them. The chips were cold.
