This was possibly one of the worst Chicken Kormas I have eaten. There was barely any flavour to it at all, the garlic naan had no garlic on and the chips were so soggy they didnt appear to have been cooked. Delivery was fast and biriyani was tasty but wont be ordering again/

The delivery time changed and no notification from you. I then chased and was told with no apology it would be with you soon. Delivery never arrived. And refund is awaiting you to process. All very disappointing as we now have no dinner and no refund

2hours from when I ordered to arrive then every single dish freezing cold! Shocking would never order again. Called restaurant didn’t sort anything couldn’t even understand me told me it was busy!

One of the best curries I’ve ever tasted was unfortunately spoiled by the fact I was given plain rice when I ordered pilau. That was disappointing. The actual curry though was superb.

Must have been an off day well I hope that’s what it was. Tikka masala was so sweet and the sheer amount of coconut in it meant it tasted like a coconut syrup. The chicken pieces were like eating old school rubbers same was true for the biryani. A beige unappealing dry mess. One taste of each and the entire meal was put to rest in the bin.

I ordered from village indiya after some disappointing meals from other takeaways and I’m so glad I did. Wow amazing fresh flavours and plenty of it. We had lamb bhuna and chicken tikka jalfrezi (spicy) accompanied with mushroom rice, keema naan and onion bhajees, couldn’t fault it. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be ordering again soon excellent

Food arrived cold- From order to door took 19mins. We live 10mins from shop so I can’t see how our food was freshly cooked. Which I expect for the price.

Our delivery was missing a main dish which was frustrating as had to wait for it to be delivered again. The onion bhajis were so overcooked that we couldn’t even bite into them. The chips were cold.

Food is always amazing from here. Used this place about 8 times now and never had a bad meal Would recommend.

Best Indian around! particularly for vegetarian food, many currys can be had with tofu, vegan meat or jackfruit. Every vegetable side dish is packed with flavour and not just an after thought 11/10

food was mostly lukewarm, had to heat it up sadly, very oily aswell so I'm surprised of the many good reviews to be honest.

Delivery driver and person I spoke with on the other end of the phone at the restaurant were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the King Prawn Biriyani wasn’t very pleasant, the prawns were very tough and overcooked, they also had an overwhelming smell to them. The veg curry that accompanied it was bland and the rice itself just tasted overly garlicky. It’s a shame as with the discount it was very reasonably priced.

First time I’ve ordered from here food was hot got the mix grill and a chicken tikka vindaloo and a couple of other pieces. And every single thing was lovely and very tasty. Portion size was very good too. Will definitely order from here again

Ceylon tasted NOTHING like Ceylon.. no spice at all! No coconut taste! Was like a lumpy chicken and Gravy. Tikka Masala wasn’t much either… The rest was ok! I will order again to given benefits of doubt but improvement needed!!! If I had paid full price I would be demanding refund on that order

Good food , just a little disappointing. Main course was a bit dry and bland, bhajis were a bit tough. Sides were nice though, and it was very cheap so I guess you get what you pay for. Nice place on a budget, but I would spend a bit more and go elsewhere

Absolutely hands down the worst dinner we have ordered. Only ordered here as it was the only place open. The curry and rice was so wet, I had to use kitchen towel to soak up the puddle on my plate. Tikka was salty and inedible, I don't often leave my dinner but left most of it, as did my family. Not sure if this usual at this place but will never order from here again to find out. Absolutely disgusting please do not try here...

I would say the fish would need to be fried in the fish masala not boiled to give it more of a flavour and you can’t taste the fish as it’s boiled but the rest is very nice thank you

Recently introduced to this wonderful restaurant by a family member and I'm so glad they did. We have both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes and wow, this stunning menu offers so much choice for everyone. The food is gorgeous, full of flavour, great portion sizing too and rather than stay with our usual choices, we are enjoying trying new items. Cannot recommend enough, lovely delivery teams too. Food taste like perfume or some sort of detergent. Especially the tikka and mint sauce. Couldn’t eat.

Really not enjoyable at all. The poppadoms were greasy, the meat in the bhuna was very tough. The naan was undercooked and the bombay potatoes hard. Complete waste of money it all went in the bin.
