Village Fisheries in Calderdale

Excellent customer service and the good was really tasty .

It's really handy to have the Village fisheries near where I live, there is also a bus stop and local shops close by. Fish & chips are as good as any I have had at the sea side. There is also a selection of "meal deals" and kebabs and pies. Something for every budget.

The absolute worst ever experience in a fish and shop The rudest lady , who was chatting to her friend on a headset with a miserable face and ignoring customers Had a fish that had stood for ages and when asked for the fresh one rather was told I was rude and got a lot of abuse Very poor customer service and not the experience I expected Will never return and wouldn’t recommend to anyone , in fact will tell everyone I know to avoid

Lovely village chippy. Very clean. Staff welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Fish and chips are very good. Nice batter, fish cooked nicely and very tasty. Good portion size at reasonable price. Recommend a visit if in the area. Ps enjoy your holiday 😎
