Traditional style Ossett Brewery pub. I think it's a typical traditional pub with a homely feeling.

Both Madge and I making our first visit here. The pub is a short walk from the town centre and railway station. Busy on our visit as the rugby had recently finished at nearby Shay Stadium. ( been there three times but many years ago.) A super Ossett brewery pub with multiple rooms and outdoor drinking area. Had a couple of pints of their Butterly 3.8% bitter. A lovely art deco original interior is well maintained. In the 2025 CAMRA Good Beer Guide. Six handpumps, two guest ales on our visit. Madge loved it. Proper pub.

Went there for a drink with family yesterday (15.03.25). I didn't order food so cannot rate them on that, but I can highly recommend this place for the atmosphere, quality of drinks and service, and the aesthetics and decor it truly feels like a time capsule in the best way possible,

Ossett pub. So you know your getting proper beer from local breweries, really friendly service and nice mixed crowd. Such a shame that most pubs are all lager and sky sports. I know that's good for some people. But I can't think of anything worse.

Great old fashioned, northern drinking establishment. I loved it. The reason it only got four stars, no Guinness (and I tend not like stout alternatives). If they'd had Staropraman, that would be a fantastic second choice. But it is a perfect little boozer, near the football (and rugby 🏉) ground.

Avoid on match day if you're an away fan with more than 50 other fans travelling. Tiny bar, few staff and no pre-poured lagers. Nightmare 'away' pub when York City took over 1,000 midweek, a day after the game was postponed on a bank holiday when we were expecting to take 1,500!

The Three Pigeons is a great pub! It's divided into a number of cosy rooms, so convenient for having a natter with friends without lots of noise. The pub has a great selection of delicious real ales that are reasonably priced. Bar snacks include the most delicious pork pies and pasties! I think there were at least a half dozen different pies including hog roast, black pudding, apple and apple and stuffing. I got the one with black pudding, and it was so good I could have tried them all! I'll just have to return and work my way through the menu. The staff were very friendly and efficient on my recent visit. I'm looking forward to my next pint in The Three Pigeons!

The food was fantastic especially the soups we had for the starter. The chef was lovely and came out and spoke to us to make sure we were enjoying our food, she even put little carrot hearts on the food for Valentines. The man at the bar was nice but didn’t tell us we had to order at the bar which caused some confusion, I think it should just be full table service in the restaurant. The restaurant was a bit cold too as only the fire in the pub was on. But overall a great village pub, great value, lovely vibes and delicious food.
