Village Cafe in Tandridge

I had the chicken shish, it was amazing, excellent customer service. The coffee is lovely too. I strongly recommend 👌

Easy free parking to the rear and delicious freshly cooked food makes this a favourite for me. Can recommend the chicken shish with rice and salad . Go for the special and includes grilled vegetables too .

Delightful lunch and fantastic service too. Very welcoming upon arrival and look forward to next visit.

i am disgusted to report i witnessed a member of the staff acting totally inappropriately in the Corals Bookmakers next door to the restaurant earlier today, he acted aggressively - violently shaking one of the virtual gaming machines. to top it off he then SPAT on the machine, utterly disgusting! and if thats how he treats a machine, i wouldnt like to imaging what he does to the food in the restaurant. I certainly wont be visiting Village Grill Kebab, and i will urge others to do the same! Disgusting behaviour!

I've been here several times, good coffee and very good food and until my last visit the service has also been very good . However sadly on my last visit , i had arranged to meet three friends for a catch up over a meal , i was half an hour early and asked for a coffee whilst waiting . The guy cooking and serving was most unhelpful he obviously thought i was only having a coffee to which he wasn't prepared to do ( not sure why as they weren't even busy) I therefore left and rang my friends that had almost arrived to arrange meeting elsewhere. Based on this experience i should be leaving a really bad review but that would be unfair as on all my other visits ,food and service was always good . So what i shall be doing instead is not ever using this place again..

Love this cafe Family friendly and you can sit outside with dog. Great food big portions. Delivery only for kebab in afternoon/evening.

Have had the chicken and lamb shish multiple times since the beginning of lockdown. Lovely food, I won’t go anywhere else for a kebab, highly recommend!

Friday lunchtime excellent omelette Home made chips were superb Large portions and good service make this the go to cafe in Warlingham Will definitely return if I’m in the area

Went here with my wife for lunch. The staff were friendly the menu was varied and the portion size was reasonable although probably proportionate to the price. I had a custom breakfast as substitutions are not permitted. which was comprised of low quality ingredients even the condiments were sub standard. There are better cafes in walking distance of this one.

The service was very good, the staff were very polite and friendly and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. Can't wait for our next visit! ☺️

Chicken is grilled to perfection. Chicken kebab wrap and the peri peri chicken with rice is delicious.

I have not been hear for a while and wow what a change for the better,the young staff great service and polite and a great choice on there menu,would go back.

Wow ! Me and my son went here today for lunch . I had the chicken kebab it was the best I’ve ever had . And I don’t eat them really very delicious highly recommend. Staff very friendly and the cafe is very clean

We have been to this cafe a few times now whilst working in the area, it's very clean and would recommend the chicken kebab served with a lovely fresh salad with pitta bread, the breakfast is also good,

A great selection of breakfast dishes and lunches. Service is quick, the café is exceptionally clean and the food good value.

Nice staff, clean and huge variety of choice with chop and changes and make your own breakfasts. Not the best quality in terms of produce... but that's not what this place is about, eh? Perfect to soak up the night before!

Good value and tasty food. Only other comments - a friendly smile on entering would have been nice and the floor could have done with a clean.

My friend told me about them omlets so I pop in and try one vegetables omlet. Verry delicious. Five star. Recommended to everyone.

not your normal greasy spoon cafe with just fry ups the homemade food is brilliant I would recommend the chilli and the and the ommlets are great as eell

Have been here before as we are local residents and found the breakfasts good, but on our latest visit on a Sunday when we were only having a coffee we were told that they were busy and took a long time to read the paper which seemed to indicate that they did not want us there so we left. Shame really as coffe is pretty good as is the breakfast, maybe the attitude could be improved. Never mind there are other cafes open nearby.

went to this place for breakfast had been a couple of times before but this was the last time 1st thing i ordered breakfast and then saw the blanched precooked sausages in a container near the floor with no covering or lid which didn't look particularly nice,i know ehos would take a dim view on this breakfast arrives and again the quality was very poor really very salty bacon & deep fried low grade sausages also must of been manager or owner was talking so loud on his mobile and rushing in and out of the café did not make for a good atmosphere ,location is very good but let down by poor quality ingredients cooked by people who don't really care if the food is good or not,that was the impression that was given and taken its a shame it wasn't busy but you can tell why

Popped in with the boys en route to a game of golf. Very good and clearly popular with a range of customers.

I love this place, in the day time or evening for kebab. They are friendly, polite and the food is always hot and delicious. Try the kebab wraps, you won't beat them! Love that it is right on my doorstep.

This is a clean, friendly, great value Cafe situated right on the Village Green. Day time food is excellent value and quality friendly staff and fast service. Portions are above average size and very good. In the evening the Turkish flavours come out with a selection of first class Kebabs to eat in or take away. I recommend this little retreat to everyone I know.

LOVE this local haunt for a breakfast over the weekend but it has now started serving delicious Kebabs in the evening to eat in or take away! Really friendly owners - defo worth a visit
