Village Cafe in Richmondshire

Stopped off on our drive from Scotland to Sheffield and we were not disappointed! The service was very friendly and the food was just delicious. Portion sizes were perfect for lunchtime, I didn't manage to finish my sandwich. We had a club sandwich and a toasted chicken chorizo wrap. Will be back if we are down this way in the future.

Catterick Village Cafe has been open for YEARS and is a very popular cafe. Their menu is affordable and modern, which is great to see. The cafe is on the small side. However, it has a few seats outside. The only downside to the cafe is you can smell the cafe on your clothes for hours after a visit.

Called in cafe at 1pm for food for 4 people .Owner sharpish disappeared and member of staff asked what we wanted. Asked for a table for 4 but was told only take aways being served as they close at 130pm . Lol still can't belive a small business would turn business away like this. Pub around the corner got our £70.

We'd been on holiday in the village and needed a breakfast on the last morning. There were six adults, four children and a dog, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. The food was brilliant. Even my son - a connoisseur of takeaway chips loved the chicken wrap and fries. Plus it was great value, served hot and speedily. What great cafe's should be!

Great chearful, personal service. Super chicken wrap, crisp and warm, seved with delicious salad.. Scampi and chips delicious.All in a cosy , but vibrant atmosfere. Sustained us for the day. Thank you.

Best bacon roll ever - packed with bacon and served with a smile at a very reasonable price - despite this page saying it's closed, it's actually re-opened post lockdown

Great breakfast sandwiches and good coffee too. Staff are very friendly, we live in the village and didn't really think of trying this place as it's on our doorstep almost, glad we did as this well be a stop we make more often, better than the chain mcalternative.

Called in with the family. Good welcome, menu on the board as well as standard fare. The food is cooked to order. Good portions well presented. Most enjoyable. Good value.

Quality food and service .popped I. For breakfast and coffee which was very reasonable !!!!! Would highly recommend!!

Been a busy start to the day and just delivered car to Catterick Service Station so it was time for breakfast. My Wife suggested that we go to the village cafe so that's what we did. She's been in for the odd coffee but this was my first visit. Obviously quite small but access was good, everything was nicely presented and properly clean. Ordered a sausage, ham, cheese omelette along with scrambled eggs of toast and mugs of tea at the counter and got sat down. Mugs of tea quickly arrived and then the food. Well, the omelette was outstanding but goodness only knows what it did to my calorie count for the day! Don't normally have breakfast out of the house but we're glad we did today and we'll make another visit here in the future.

Best breakfast in the area. Staff are as helpful as possible catering to individual requirements, and they offer local delivery. Foods top notch and the cakes are all home made, taste amazing and mostly gluten free. Recommend to anyone in the area.

the toast was perfect. the eggs were poached lovely, the pot of tea was devine, i want to go back real soon. it has been a long time since i was there. but a lovely quiet place to enjoy any meal. well done to al the staff. your poached eggs i really miss thank you xx

Had a light lunch here recently, the staff were friendly and the food and cakes tasty. The only downside was that they only had a staff toilet around the back which wasn't great. I would pop in again for a cake and a cuppa though!

Popped in for a large takeaway breakfast. Welcoming staff, very short wait, food was perfectly cooked; what more would a customer want??

Just been here this morning an been charged £ 6.60 for the worst most feeble pathetic sausage and bacon buns i have ever had.

We nearly always stop here on the way back from nottingam. Food is tasty . nice in summer sitting outside

Este establecimiento ofrece comida para nuestra Veteranos de las Fuerzas Desayuno Club todos los sábados por la mañana. El personal toma uno de nuestros pedidos en nuestro lugar de reunión, un club social, al otro lado de la calle de la cafetería, y luego ofrece la comida en el club. El café es en general muy ocupado en la mañana del sábado, con el comercio de la zona, junto con los ciclistas que lo usa como un punto de encuentro habitual. A pesar de todo de esta actividad, un nivel extremadamente alto de catering está sostenido siempre, muchas gracias a todo el personal que soportan nuestro ex fuerzas bromas.

This small cafe has great food, is very friendly and welcoming. It is always busy with soldiers and regulars as well as passing trade.

A gem of a cafe, high quality great food, friendly and very welcoming. Home baked cakes and treats. Really good value freshly cooked breakfasts and lunches. I had the full English and will definitely be back for more.
