Have previously visited this cafe after its refurbishment and reopening under new management. Over several visits, friendly welcoming staff, not the biggest menu in the world but something for everyone (even we weirdo vegetarians), spotlessly clean, good service, piping hot tasty food, great mug of tea, all at very reasonable prices. The chocolate brownies are to die for.

Staff were amazingly kind to my elderly Mum. Thank you so much. Very nicely decorated and super clean. Must be wonderful on a sunny day!

Called here 1st time last week. We were greeted by a nice gentleman made to feel most welcome. A lovely spotless dining area with log burner. Lovely waitress brought breakfast, had a chat. On leaving was told a bit of history of the place. Loved it. Would recommend a 10+ from us

This cafe is quirky and welcoming. Staff are very friendly and attentive with the teenagers doing a great job even when they are very busy! Good prices and an interesting place to visit as it's more than a cafe (ask Steve about its WW2 history). Dog friendly too. Love it!

We stumbled on this place en route to Louth and I'm so glad we did! Extremely welcoming patron, attentive staff and excellent food. Everything we had was well cooked, promptly served and very reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend a visit. If we are ever in the neighbourhood again I would certainly go back. Thank you!

Discovered this cafe by accident on the way to Skegness. Very friendly staff and very welcoming. I sat in the small but cozy garden to enjoy the autumn sunshine and have some breakfast. The scrambled eggs were heavenly, light and fluffy and served on toasted artisan bread with just the right amount of seasoning. So nice that I didn’t reach for the ketchup as it would have smothered the flavours. It would be easy to drive right past this place as you cant see the building from the road, but look for the large flags proudly proclaiming “Cafe” and turn in to the yard immediately.

The unfriendly service isn't the only thing to ruin this. The dated decor really isn't nice. I always fancied popping in here but I wished I hadn't

We visited on way to the coast my partner had a small breakfast little boy had a sausage sandwich and I had a large breakfast without beans which came without tomatoes as well the only difference to the small breakfast was 2 hash browns I then precided to ask if the large breakfast came with tomatoes which was brought to my table to then be told a extra hash brown had been put on so the tomatoes would be a extra 70p so really I was charged a extra 1.50 for one extra hash brown which I find absolutely disgusting safe to say we won't be visiting again the only difference between the small and large breakfast was one small hash brown laughable to say the least

Last minute visit as we were driving home from a weekend away and it didn't disappoint! Me and my partner both had a pork dinner and it was just amazing! Proper homemade dinner and grow their own veg! Definitely recommend for anyone near by! Very polite staff too!

We found this place on the way to Butlins, when our sat nav took us the wrong way, the place is absolutely charming, I had soup of the day which was lovely and got talking to a lovely couple who were telling me all about the air hangers used in the world war, was really interesting, very friendly place. They also have a farm shop which is right next to the cafe in a barn. Will have to make a bee line to this place when we go back to Skegness in Feb.

We found this place purely by chance on our way to Skegness, and being parched and hungry after an early start we stopped by for refreshments. The inside of the restaurant is clean and tidy in a rustic style and the staff were both friendly and helpful. I ordered a full english breakfast with a pot of tea, when the breakfast arrived it was well presented and of good quality. Should we take this route on our next visit to Skegness I would certainly have no hesitation in visiting the Viking Way Coffee House again.

Visit to the seaside wanted fish and chips, as I'm gluten free I usually struggle. Not here have gluten free on the menu, also curry sauce. We both had regular fish and chips, mine was wrapped separately from husbands as he had normal.Great portions glad we didn't go for the large.

Had a couple of roasts today which came with free desserts. Meal was lovely, fresh, hot, just what you expect. We was really happy with that.....but....half an hour after leaving we realised we had left a bag behind. Money, cards, car keys, medication, all stuff hard to replace when on holiday. We returned to the Windsor and the lady who was serving, cleaning etc said she saw the bag as soon as we left, so put it safe behind the counter. Panic over. We can't thank you enough xxx

Can't begin to say how bad this pub was, miserable landlady and landlord and the worst food I have ever not eaten. I say not eaten as we didn't get through even a quarter of the plate of awful food we were offered. My husband said the beer was okay but please don't bother with the food it REALLY ISNT WORTH IT.

We went specifically to this venue for breakfast. We ordered different breakfasts and made some changes to one of them with the helpful counter staff. The tea in the tea pot was cold and we took it back for a replacement hot tea pot. The breakfast was brought to us by a member of staff who did not smile or speak. Having ordered extra well done bacon we were surprised to note that it certainly hadn't been even well done. The plates were cold and so was half of the breakfast, the rest of it cooling rapidly. The toast and prepacked butter were placed on the top of the breakfast and we had to use our fingers to try and get them off the top, even though there was nowhere to put them (have they never heard of side plates)? All in all, very poor. Customer care is clearly not a priority.

Visited here yesterday as we have done many times previously and i was on my VERY SMALL electric scooter (ES). It was quite busy but not full as it is fairly small inside. Myself and my scooter took up the same amount of sitting on the chair as i was situated so i didn't need to use their chair and if on a large bike this would not have been possible. However a young girl asked if i could leave my ES outside and walk in which i could not as not able to do so. I replied we have been in there previously and had never been an issue but she said the couldn't allow it when they were busy. I would not have gone in if i was going to cause an issue or restrict any of the pathways and so i felt i had to leave, which we did. However there was 3 tables occupied by approx 12 men who were blocking pathways and not eating anything and were loudly talking to each other across the tables who were who were quite clearly obstructive but seemingly that was ok !!! I am disgusted in this day and age that such discrimination persists and i will not use them again. Perhaps they need to add a sign to the windows stating people with mobility aids would not be allowed in busy periods. Totally Disgusted. LInda Halls
