I had the pleasure of celebrating my surprise engagement at a private dining event at Victors, and it was made truly special thanks to the outstanding service from Louis and Tyrese. Both of them were incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional, ensuring that every detail of our evening was perfect. Sunday lunch, birthday, catch up all rolled into one meal. Sunday lunch was nice and the small plates also very nice. On here it says ££ / £££ I’d say it’s a little more towards the £££ but still worth a visit.

Over priced, over hyped full on wags joint. Tried it and wouldn't return as its to robotic and style over any form of substance whatsoever. The food is average at top prices.

We went to this place without booking. The receptionist gave us a nice table.. it wasn’t really busy .. we ordered small plates shrimp tempura, fried calamari…duck salad, etc.. ordered some drinks ..the service was good, food was tasty. I can highly recommend this place, staff are pleasant.

Had a loverly Sunday afternoon meal with drinks

We had cocktails, a bottle of rose and a meal. I had the pork belly Sunday roast - unfortunately the broccoli and roast potatoes were hard and I struggled to cut these, but the rest of the dinner was good. Service very slow despite not being that busy and lots of staff on. Over expensive for what it is.

Booked afternoon tea 3 weeks in advance for 1pm on a Sunday for a birthday catch-up with a friend. Arrived at 12.50 and the restaurant was really quiet. Ordered drinks which arrived 10 minutes later. From then on it went downhill. Lots of staff standing around chatting however to get any service was near impossible. Three tables came in, ordered, ate, paid and left in the time it took for our afternoon tea to arrive, it took an hour. When it arrived it was practically inedible. Bread on finger sandwich was stale and hard, the bagel was so tough there was no way you could eat it (think frozen bagel defrosted in a microwave). Brioche was stale and the egg mayonnaise had a thick skin on the top. Cakes and scones were terrible, I don't know where they get the clotted cream from, or if in fact it was clotted cream as it had the texture of a dry cottage cheese and tasted of onion! We did order more drinks after finally getting the attention of the waiting staff, the last ones were sitting on the bar for 15 minutes while 3 staff members were standing right next to them chatting. When we asked for the bill the attitude of the waitress was absolutely disgusting. She was surly and seemed very angry, slamming the bill down on the table. My advice would be just don't bother visiting, its very much style over substance. For the prices they are charging there are better places with attentive staff that serve great food. To be honest a sandwich from the local café is 100% better quality that the diabolical mess we were served here.

A very loud and stylish venue. Busy. Friendly staff but a very slow service. Over an hour between starters and main. Teriyaki salmon had a wooden texture. Think it had been forgotten about. Carbon dating might prove me wrong on that but Piltdown man has a better texture. Char-grilled broccoli however was conversely raw... Go figure 🤷

My partner and I went to Victors Alderley Edge for dinner on a Wednesday night. We were asked to wait for 10 minutes whilst a table was prepared, so we ordered a bottle of white wine sat at the bar. The wine wasn't chilled, so had to wait for it to cool down in a bottle bucket. The bar staff did give us a complimentary small glass of wine to compensate, however we ordered a popular variety of white which you'd expect to have enough chilled for. Following this, we were seated and ordered. We asked twice for water and had ordered our food before it came. We then had to wait for an hour before our food arrived. The food was good, however if you're going to order, make sure you order a side as well, as the mains alone would not likely be enough. Overall, the dining room is beautiful, and the food was great, however, the fact we had to wait for so long for this was difficult to justify.

Absolutely love this restaurant. Without a doubt my favourite to take my visitors to. The food, decor and service and truly superb and prices very reasonable. It always feel like a luxurious treat when coming here, highly reccomend!

Perfect restaurant, lovely setting, food was amazing

Went for the 50% discount luch menu. Portions were small and service was much better than breakfast. Would not pay full price for the lunch menu given portion sizes.

Breakfast is good here! My guests had a range of dishes from the breakfast menu - pancakes, full English, poached eggs&avo, eggs benefict. Everyone was really happy with their choices. We did have to wait a bit for our coffee and the service was a bit slow in general hence not five stars. Also, we phoned in advance ad one of our guests has coeliac disease and the person on the phone said they can't offer her an alternative bread product however when we arrived they said they have gluten free bread. It was quiet on a Saturday morning which was quite surprising really, but its a lovely restaurant and I'll certainly go back.

Lovely outdoor seating when the weather permits nice cocktails and food. I recommend the small plates and some sides.

I wish i could give 6 stars to the hospitality and service. The staff is very courteous and the great food is just a bonus. I was quite late and the kitchen was closed, but they opened the kitchen again for me specially so i dont go empty stomach. Highly recommended

First visit to the restaurant I found all staff friendly and welcoming. Nice atmosphere good service, good food. The only slight concern was that the music being played was a little too loud whilst trying to make conversations. We had a table of 5. The opinion was we would visit again. Well done to the team.

Cool shop in a trendy area. Rolls-Royce and Bentley on the doorstep, but still not snooty or overpriced. Party mood. Our children even danced with other guests after dinner. Good food, for us sushi and mussels. We had an overall lovely evening. Zak was responsible for our table. Always friendly and obliging. Top!

Decor is very nice, a very relaxing restaurant. Good menu and wine selection. Food was superbly presented, steak was slightly overcooked at medium compared to the ordered rare, I was asked if I wanted it changed but we were half-way through our main course by that time. (Yes, I know that I could have gotten up and walked over to see the waiting staff sooner). Desert was presented excellently and all tasted good. One very minor comment would be that the waiting staff wearing jeans & trainers was unexpected in a high-end expensive restaurant.

A lovely restaurant. Love the decor and ambience. Calm and relaxed. Wasn't busy with only a few tables occupied. Came for a late lunch. Procecco was delicious. Hubby enjoyed his steak and chips. I had the crispy duck sushi roll which was very tasty. Great service. The waiter was handsome and stylish in his bow tie. Highly recommended.

Absolutely succulent roast chicken. We were so happy to find out it was halal, as that is such a rarity. The mocktail was also delicious and the setting is very nice. We’re definitely coming back.

Such a vibe! Walked in was greeted by amazing, bubbly host. Table was ready before our booking but we chose to enjoy a drink at the bar, fab dj and bar staff. Was gifted with a free shot and a little show behind the bar. Nice touch. Just great vibes and good energy from the staff. Food was probably some of the nicest food me and my partner have had before. Enjoyed a bottle of wine and a few other drinks. Waitress was so attentive and even gave us recommendations of bars to go to after as we aren’t local to the area! Will definitely be back with friends,couldn’t recommended this place enough. Not a bad thing to say. Thank you for a fab evening.

We visited Victors at Alderley Edge on Saturday 27th April 2024. 1. We booked with a Groupon offer (starter and main + drink); I mentioned this when were taken to our table and given the standard menus, but nothing was done so we started to peruse the menus we were given. The waiter then returned a few minutes later to take these away and give us the correct (more restricted) menus for the offer - I guess this kind of thing happens though if the staff haven’t been well briefed / trained. We started to look at the new menus and ordered the drinks. 2. After a few more minutes a member of staff informed us that our afternoon tea was now ready and that we needed to make some space on the table for this. We informed them that we hadn’t ordered any afternoon tea, but I guess this kind of thing happens though if the staff haven’t been well briefed / trained… 3. I was going to choose the rib-eye steak as a main, but no details were given of what else accompanied it. On asking I was told that it would just be the steak alone on a plate (!?) but some vegetables could be served with it. As no side dishes were featured on this menu and no details (which vegetables or prices of any extra items/side dishes) were given, I decided to order the yuzu lemon chicken instead. My wife ordered the “Victors Way Burger”. 4. The yuzu lemon chicken - chicken pieces were really nicely cooked with slightly charred skin and served at a very good temperature with a nice small salad, but unfortunately the sauce was intensely sweet and too lemony - as if the chicken had been smothered in lemon curd. The Victors Way Burger was served also at a good temperature, i.e., hot, but other than this, was so ordinary as to be bland; it wasn’t even accompanied by, say, slices of red onion or tomato that may have helped to lift this burger out of ordinariness. However, the accompanying fries were excellent and were perhaps the best feature of an otherwise disappointing meal. 5. We had earlier wondered if we may have dessert, but after the experience of the main course, we just opted to pay and leave. When the bill was presented to us, it was incorrect as they had charged for the drinks that should have been included in the Groupon offer; a corrected bill was then presented from which we removed the optional service charge as the service had been borderline incompetent. Victors should have, and could have done better here, and if they had, they would have made more money from us today. They should learn from this experience, but I don’t think that they will.

Was really looking forward to visiting here for a special birthday but was very disappointing. I'd made a note of this being a special birthday on the reservation, however this was not even so much acknowledged at all by staff. I even confirmed this on the phone 24 hours before but nothing was mentioned thoughout the meal. On arriving there was some live music, which I would normally enjoy but they were so loud!! I couldn't hear myself think let alone talk. Is ok if you're sat outside on a sunny day or inside a bar, but not within a restaurant when trying to have a conversation. Thankfully they only sang a couple more songs. Ordered drinks which took an age to come. Onto the food, there is no structure to the menu, I didn't know if I was ordering starters or mains as it is not clear at all and we were just advised to order a bit of everything. My husband wanted the Sunday roast but he was informed they had none left. Why give out menus for a roast if you have none? So between four of us we had a 2 course children's meal for my son but then a further 6 'small' dishes and 1 'large' dish. Small?? They should have been called 'tiny'! £13 for 2 teeny crab tacos? Don't get me wrong the food was lovely but it was all very disconnected and all the portions were tiny, £16 for 4 tiny scallops, even the large salmon dish was just a piece of salmon and a piece of brocolli so we had to order fries as well. We also ordered a sharing dessert which was just melted marshmallows, churros and sorbet for £18! I'm not normally one to complain but for a bill of nearly £200 (with an added tip of £17!) I would expect to be full and satisfied. My husband and I came away still very hungry!! Daylight robbery. Further, on visiting the toilets downstairs you had full view of the pot washing area which was chaotic, dirty and messy with cardboard all over the floor. Not what you expect from a fine dining restaurant

I didn’t knew about Alderley Park before. We came here for business and were looking for a nice dinner spot. We have not been disappointed. The interior is maybe not for every taste but we liked it and at least there is a theme. However that’s a minor point. More important are service and food. Service was adequate for a usual restaurant. But if they intend to play in exquisite, high level categories , then it could have been sometimes more attentive. However, the food and drinks were great. Delicious, nice crossover mixtures, spot on. Many dishes had this wow-effect after the taste explosion in your mouth.

The food was great, as was the atmosphere. The DJ keep the place lively and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Booked for my best friends birthday - arrived to have afternoon tea. I was really excited about going to victors but sadly, the service was so poor - no one came over to take our drink order, our afternoon tea took over an hour to come out (Pre booked) - the afternoon tea was literally dumped onto the table and waiter left, no one asked us if we wanted any tea to accompany the food, no one came over to ask how the food was or if we needed anything etc no one asked if we wanted any drinks. I had to call the waiter over from another table to order drinks after 30 minutes of being there and then again to order tea. We traveled 90 minutes to come to victors. The food was nice, but the service really let it down. Wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t return unfortunately. I appreciate people like to complain, but I really am not a complainer. The food was tasty but I just felt completely let down by the time it came.

Attentive and friendly and the food just wow 👌 beautiful touch bringing a birthday surprise over given my sister only mentioned it in passing once we had our first drink to cheers with. Stunning restaurant, amazing ambience, first class service and wonderful food. I thank all for the experience and will return. 10/10!!

21 birthday meal, My wife and I ordered the tomahawk steak. Served blue as requested, BUT in our opinion the smallest tomahawk steak ever,if I remember it said on the menu 1kilo, very disappointing to say the least, A family seated behind us complained about their chicken being over cooked , Could be brilliant, service was very good, But £80 for a tomahawk?? Wouldn't visit again, would not recommend,

Where to start…… Called to asked if they still serve roast dinner.. the answer was yes we do.. booked table arrived 30min after.. ordered wine.. ordered roast .. and unfortunately the roast wasn’t available.. ordered tomahawk.. not available.. ordered ribeye which was available but.. omg… I would say this ribeye was worse than rump… it was too chewy to eat but we hadn’t eaten all day and were starving so decided to eat it. Positives the service was ok.. until you provide feedback and it gets ignored.. Learnings… feedback is a gift.. without that you’d never improve.. don’t promise things that you can’t deliver.

This place never disappoints us… had a wonderful evening with great food and fantastic service from Abby she really went above and beyond to make our evening a success! Will always be our go to for any celebration.

Visited at lunchtime today - we chose 4 sharing plates scallops / chicken skewers/ popcorn chicken / crab tacos + 2 glasses of Gavi I£100 later - can honestly say it was the most expensive unremarkably disgustingly tasting food we’ve had for some time - there’s no accounting for taste !!! Won’t be going back even to see the supercharged revved up Supercars that paraded outside that nobody else seemed to have ever seen before - smell of petrol didn’t enhance our tastebuds Alderney Edge Enjoy

We went to Victor's for a family dinner, the service from Abbey was excellent, she was so friendly and helpful, a lovely lady she was a pleasure. However we ordered the tomahawk steak and was really disappointed, compared the quantity to the ribeye steak it was very disappointing. Very disappointed would not recommend. Very over priced. Be interesting to see if we get a response from the management.

During my stay in the UK, I stumbled upon this wonderful restaurant. The food was exquisite and beautifully presented, and the drinks were delicious. However, what stood out the most was the waitress who served me (I’m not sure if I remember correctly, but I think her name was Sylvia). She not only suggested excellent dishes but also recommended some great places in the area.

Just perfect. The afternoon tea was incredibly presented and tasted amazing. A definite contender for the number one spot of afternoon tea! It’s beautiful inside and the service was really good too. Not one to miss 🩷

Honestly I love victors but the allergy location is just not as good as the hale one. staff and food where lovely but hale just has them beat by a bit

Food was lovely . Aesthetics of the restaurant beautiful . Cleanliness not amazing . Not against dogs being anywhere but a couple sat their dog on a chair and this wasn’t sanitised after they left . The service was slow and staff quite rude with very few personal skills .

Lovely ambience and very attentive service. The dishes are always spot on. Varied menu for all palates. However, I wish they did a gluten free wasabi! I’ve brought my own in the past! 😅 Only criticism would be… We received a call after arriving 30 minutes before to say our table we were sitting at would be given away if we didn’t arrive in next 5 minutes. 😆

food was decently good but sadly the service was absolutely dreadful. if you haven’t got the face and you’re the wrong side of 30 the attentiveness of your server is slim to non. Never came back to check if the food was okay, had to chase up the server about all three rounds of drinks we ordered and the dirty plates were left there for upwards of 30 minutes. i wouldve told my server she had food round her mouth but if she can’t be attentive and treat us with respect nor can i. feel very strongly about this place, never had an account on here until now. thought i had to share my story

Visited 'Victor's' in Alderley Edge for the first time this evening and can highly recommend it to all. I'd like to take the opportunity to congratulating the proprietor and management team for ensuring that patrons receive a warm and reassuring welcome. Special mention to the team who provide the door supervision who I observed working in a focused, professional way...I think gentleman may have been called Wayne...a superb member of an outstanding team...an absolute credit to you./.congratulations team...you're doping s brilliant job.

We visited Victors for a late Sunday lunch. We were offered water which didn’t arrive and we had to ask a second time for it. We ordered a tomahawk steak sharer for two and our friend had a chicken roast. Food service was very slow given that the restaurant wasn’t very busy (waited 50 minutes). When the food finally came we were disappointed to find that the vegetables with the tomahawk sharer were only enough for one person and the sides advertised with the meal on the restaurants social media were not in fact included. We also compared the amount of veg with my friend’s roast and this confirmed that we were definitely only given a portion of veg for one person. When I raised this with the waiting staff, they did not apologise and I had to ask for extra veg. Overall we were quite disappointed with our experience given the price.

I called for a breakfast on a Sunday and being both A celiac and lactose intolerant was very disappointed to find out they don’t do Gluten free bread and very limited on what I could eat on the menu. Smaller cafes and restaurants can cater for people with allergies and intolerance’s but apparently not victors in an Alderley edge. Won’t be returning.

After listening to all the hype of victors, I was very disappointed with our visit. All I’m going to say is take down the wisteria, and remove the Alderley Edge address we have visited better cafe / bistro s elsewhere. Maybe it was a better experience later in the evening, and maybe we just choose the wrong things to eat. We have been and seen and that’s ok. No desire to return, but I am a big believer in you have to try different places and then at least you can say you have been.

Very nice place, very nice sunday lunch. The lady working front of house was a perfect front of house, very smiley and gave good service. The food came out piping hot and was nice. I couldn't fault anything. We travelled up from Staffordshire to visit and will definitely return. Thank you!

Such a lot of places to choose from in Alderley Edge but again we chose Victors. Our second visit here and it won't be the last. Staff are so friendly and welcoming and the food is delicious, we have had different things off the menu both times. The Bloody Mary was spot on and could have easily sat there all afternoon drinking champagne but had somewhere else to get to.

Had a little Monday night dinner here last night. Food was exceptionally good, nice wine and fantastic service. Shout out to Shiv, who is one of a kind 😅. Great personality and made the evening very entertaining.

Second visit here and it was just as good as the first. The food was amazing portions were big, the staff looked after us greatly. The décor is very interesting, floral hangings, huge windows making it light and airy.

Lovely relaxed lunch with family

Had a lovely meal here for my grandmothers birthday, came to bar to start and had a delicious cocktail from bartender Claudia! Food was amazing, grandmother loved trying sushi for first time!!

Had a lovely time visiting Victors for my friend’s birthday, service was excellent. May I also mention the excellent bartender Claudia, who was lovely and very attentive, with my drinks being perfect everytime.

Stopped by for lunch. We each had a cocktail, and they were delightful. The food was really exceptional too, I must say. So much flavour and presentation was good. Service was a bit on the slow side, but otherwise no concerns. Would not hesitate to come back.

Came for Dinner at Victors and it was magical! Food was amazing from starters to desserts.Ruby was looking after the table and her service was very good and she was very attentive and had great knowledge of the menu.Candy shop marg and Beef Tataki was an amazing recommendations and a must try! Overall magical experience that me and my other guests enjoyed! Will be back again.

My sister and myself decided to have lunch at Victor's Alderley Edge on Fri 16th June. The young lady who greeted us, brought us to our table. Our drink orders were taken and time given to browse menu. The food was absolutely delicious, just the right portion size. Service with a smile from all staff. We would definitely eat there again and most certainly recommend Victor's to family and friends.

Our first time visiting and wasn't sure what to expect due to other bad reviews. We had no problems whatsoever. We were seated immediately, drink orders taken. The sushi was delicious! Our server was perfectly attentive. We will definitely be back!! Absolutely loved it!!

If you want a relaxed low-key lunch, this is not the place for you. If you want to impress a first date, then Victor's will definitely do that.

Service a little slow but great food

Extremely disappointing. My boyfriend took me yesterday for my 18th birthday which he had mentioned in the booking. The table they had put us on sat us really far away from each other and with the DJ being so so loud and tipsy people around we could not hear each other and ended up having to shout or even text each other at times. My boyfriend ordered a burger and requested it without pickles, it arrived with them anyway. We're not usually people to complain so he just took them off and ate it anyway. For a £20 burger it was extremely disappointing, same quality as a McDonald's. I got the chicken skewers which, yes it did say small plate, but I was not expecting so little. I ate them out of pure hunger but would not recommend to anyone as they were not very nice. We held out high hopes for dessert as the list looked nice and got the waiters recommendation of Raspberry Alaska as well as the cookie dough peanut option. The cookie dough was okay at best and, although presented beautifully, the raspberry Alaska base was frozen solid at the bottom and I was unable to eat it. I signed up to the rewards in advance as I was told when booking I would get a birthday voucher but this never arrived and I wish it did because it was the biggest waste of money. Luckily my boyfriend and I managed to make the most out of the bad experience but it was still that, a bad experience. Really disappointed as this was where I had chosen to spend my 18th birthday. The service was not brilliant, a waiter managed to splash water on my boyfriends face when pouring it into his glass and did not apologise. (Only a minor thing but just added to the bad experience) It took ages to get the bill, felt very ignored by staff. After this awful experience they even put a service charge on. This was my first time going and I will not be coming back nor recommending it to anyone unless there are to be significant improvements. Other people had birthday sparklers arriving which I didn't receive but am not to fussed about, just thought it was odd as it was on the booking and acknowledged on arrival. All these things combined just lead to such a bad experience and not how anyone would want to spend their 18th. The venue itself was very pretty and although the bar was extremely crowded on arrival it did look very nice. I'd like to give the benefit of the doubt and maybe just say this was a one off as it was fairly busy and I did not see too many staff but it's not like I can have my 18th again to re-experience it.

Fantastic as always, however, they had sold out of the Salmon and the Tuna by the time we got there at 2pm! We only took the trip for a Victors board which we have everytime but couldnt do so this time. Everything we had as an alternative was fantastic though!

I have been 3 times for lunch and once for evening drinks. Relaxing décor, good reception, professional staff and quality food. Not forgetting excellent and attentive service. You get what you pay for!

Good ambience, although the music was far too loud to hold a meaningful conversation. Sushi and Sashimi good; Cod Loin was pretty tasteless and wasn’t adequately seasoned, and Teriyaki Salmon was quite a small portion. Service was friendly and professional.

Had a chicken salad but it was grey leg and wing meat that didn't look appetising at all. Couldn't eat it. Was told they don't do chicken breast. Nice staff good atmosphere tho.

I never review restaurants but I just had to for this one. Service is outstanding straight away there to clean your plates away. Always asking if we needed a drink. Food was next level and cocktails gorgeous.

Fantastic restaurant, beautiful, lovely staff and great food.

We went for Sunday lunch. The service was excellent. Starters were delightful and served quickly. Unfortunately I have given 3 stars due to the roast potatoes being extremely under cooked. We informed the waitress of this issue, she apologised and said thanks for letting her know but did not ask us if we wanted them replacing. We left the roast potatoes which was a waste. The baked alaska was unbelievably good. Such a shame we had a little negative feedback given how good the place is.

Great welcome - friendly and helpful. Served by Josh - lovely manner and very attentive. Food varied and tasty. Great ambience and music level just right. We really enjoyed the evening. Thank you Victors.
