Achaari in Cheshire East

Usually really good. Decided to get the mixed kebab and the lamb was rare. The chicken was also quite a strange texture this time. Never had issues before but something wasn’t quite right with the food this evening.

Fantastic food, always FULL of flavour and the service is impeccable. Only once have we ordered and they delivered the wrong sauce, within 10 mins they'd delivered the correct sauce. 👏 👏

Never had a bad curry from here always 100% I even had some lamb which wasn't super tender ONCE an it was still extremely tasty. The people who work behind counter are extremely friendly, fast delivery times even on busy days and even faster collection times. Best curry in macc by a country mile, it would make it as a great restraint or sit in if they had the space. But wouldn't change a thing it's that nice

Best curry in Macclesfield, always busy so expect a wait, well worth it though! Bit shy with the dips for what you pay and the driver always leaves the bag of food on the floor at the door which isn't great. Still, amazing food and never had a problem with the quality.

Deluxe kebab, absolutely disgusting!!! Can't even get an order right and extremely rude staff on the phone! Achari India's finest how Pathetic! Worst kebab I've had millions of kebabs and this is categorically the worst kebab I've ever had in my life! Will NOT be going back! Don't bother wasting your money

Order arrived over 15 minutes late - had to ring the restaurant and enquire in the app as there was no tracker or update on arrival time. Food was acceptable quality however it was cold I’m guessing as a result of the driver doing multiple deliveries before ours.

2 hours for my food to be delivered sad because the food is good from here and I've never had an order taken so long to be delivered.

Always receive extra poppadoms! Curries are spot on every time and full of meat! Prawn puri full of prawns. Have left overs for next day tastes just as great. Best in macc

Food was amazing. Staff was very friendly. Asked for extra spice and they were very accommodating.

Way overpriced, ordered the big kebab and was charged extra for sauces and salad, apparently you can have lettuce for free any extra salad is charged extra. Payed about an extra £5 on sauce and salad that from all over places is free. Bread was nice and soft hence the food getting two stars and not one. Will not be back, stop charging extra for things that should be included.

I ordered pilau but got plain rice. Wasn’t very hot. Butter chicken was ok but I’ve had better.

Absolutely delicious chicken tikka and shatkora donner. Arrived very quickly 45 minutes early and was very hot. Massive portions

Very very tasty, the starter mixed, was excellent, I had the house Biryani with sauce, it was warm but tasted excellent, as was the curry sauce, I would have given 5 stars if it had been warmer, but definitely have them again,

It's not good hygiene goes down the drain, not good at all, found hair in my food, tried a small bit of chicken felt uncooked, clearly not happy with the takeout, won't go ever back again one star as the staff is good .

Tikka masala was just a korma in disguise and there's Brussel sprouts and cabbage ends in the veggie curry. Never again. Save your money and go to Bombay flavours

Really nice flavours to the various dishes. The Dupiaza was a little greasy but very tasty nonetheless. Main issue was that the food arrived 45 minutes early, before most of our party had arrived. Otherwise, very good and will definitely order from here again.

Gave a 5* review 2yrs ago but wanted to update it after consistent great food and service. We tried their new chicken stir fry kebab and it’s incredible! Would recommend to anybody and would give more stars if possible. Always a great choice.

Great food if anything a little cold

Only issue was the tandoori prawns. There were 2 prawns for £7 which i think is overpriced for the portion size. Other than that lovely as always

Very early but food was hot…..pity the naan bread was very thin and small for the price it was not a share size 😂……Stop using Brussels Sprouts in the vegetable rice it’s not required and doesn’t need it.

Turned up an hour early and we weren’t in. Perhaps put the correct delivery time.

Delivered well before the time given…..food was not bad had have had better unfortunately as the potatoes in the rice were under cooked and hard and the chips over done so very crispy and some inedible. Both curries nice and big pieces of meat but very expensive for the overall meal

Just what I fancied. Although the onion bhajis were a little too crispy they were really tasty. The Lamb Chilli Massala was perfect, the meat tender, the sauce full of flavour and, for me, perfect heat. I’ll definitely be ordering again.

Came here for the first time tonight after being let down by our usual (website was open for orders, then they cancelled it when we arrived at the takeaway and it was all closed up!) - excellent food and great service! Food was also ready nice and quickly, which was a relief after the wasted time at our other takeaway! Man greeted us as soon as we walked in the door and was very polite. I think this will be our usual now when ordering Indian/Bangladeshi food!

Clean, genuine, non greasy Indian food as it should be. Order the Razela, you won't regret it

Great food always consistent a bit pricy but you get what you pay for have tried cheaper indian take aways in macc never as good always come back would definitely recommend worth the extra cost

Poppadoms were stale and a little soft...naan breads were definitely not fresh and the chicken tikka madras I ordered had very little substance or taste.....overall very average.....

The best Indian takeaway in the area, Chicken Vindaloo is always spot on as are the starters, rice and naan breads. Only knocked it down a star due to price increases which makes getting a weekly takeaway unaffordable for some people

Afraid! Worst experience in near days. Tried spicy wings, tandoori chicken and roti, such a drastic food. Even not properly cooked 😤 Hopefully not to include anymore in my Macclesfield day's.

Tasty. Different dishes taste different, not always a given with some places. Just spicy enough to bring out the flavour. Onion bhaji is crunchy - just like it is in India. Special rice is actually special too. We enjoyed it a lot.

First time ordering from here. Meal was fantastic .I had a chicken dansak and my partner.had a korma the chicken in the currys was such big pieces.highly recommend

food quality is excellent, really tasty amd flavoursome, only reason for the 1 star drop from 5 is the size of the portions of the chutney tray dips, at 90p each for what is literally two table spoons of dip each. only comparing to most others where the same order of dips for a similar price is twice/three times the amount. other than the dips, always really impressed.

The food here is outstanding, the quality is better than most Indian or kebab takeaways in Macclesfield. I am a particular fan of their deluxe kebab.

Been ordering from here for a while and it's always been good, just called up for a kebab and the prices have already gone up which is fine I understand that, the guy said if you want all salad its an extra £1.00 on top of the already inflated price - I thought he was joking. Won't be going back

Ordered online at 7pm having rung and being told 45 - 50minutes delivery. Rang again at 8pm and told it was just heading out. Rang again at 8.26 to be told it will be 5-10minutes. Absolute Joke. Don’t lie. Just say if you’re busy and we won’t bother!!! None of us are hungry now!!

The number 1 takeaway in Macclesfield by far. Achaari does the best Chingri Chaap (prawns) ever. The prawns are absolutely huge and really flavoursome. The sauce looks spicy but it isn't At all and it's packed with so much flavour. We also tried the special grilled lamb chops and they were perfectly cooked. Slightly pink in the middle and the meat was very tender. The Masala chips are an off the menu addition and they pack a punch of spice but have taste to them. They are morish but be warned also spicy. Great service by the team that runs Achaari.

Has a big huge sign on the wall saying best northwest takeaway , but dosent take card payments ! Had to drive around looking for a cash point by then the foods cold, move with the times guys (CASH AINT KING ANYMORE)

Just Eat showed a delivery wait of 1 hour, only after paying did it reveal the actual wait was 2 hours. When the food finally arrived it was all cold, the bhajis and chips were hard and chewy and the vegetable korma was made with Brussels sprouts yuk. The lettuce in the salad was brown around the edges. The mushroom rice was good though. Will not be using this restaurant again, there are much better options in the area.

Ordered a delivery, phoned up 1hour45 later to say it would be 10 minutes. 2hours 10min later still dont recieve to be told we can have a discount finally arrives (2hours 30) and the driver tell us we have to pay full price

A 90 minute wait for what was the most disapointing Indian meal We have ever had. In edible onion bhajis, flavourless biryani and sauce plus two other mains that were well below average. The papadoms were quite nice!😱

Alhamdulliah. The food was amazing, perfect level of spice considering the fact we asked for asain style. Really big portions, very tasty, flavourful, complimentary dishes were given and staff were easy to communicate with. Definitely recommend. Thank you.

Wow not going to lie I've not been for a while but just had a Dhaniya onion bajis and a Bengal fried frice to myself and honestly the best Indian cuisine I've ever had the only thing better than that meal is the fact I finished it. Top job guys👍

Ordered a takeaway online,said it would be delivered around 6.50pm,it arrived at 8.50pm,i spoke to them in between,the manager rang me back,he said there would be a full refund.we are still waiting for that refund,food ok,they sent the wrong naan.will never order from them again!!!

Normally great. Clearly do not understand simple instructions about "No salad or vegetables in anything". I receive an egg fried rice with more green in it than Egg and tiny shreds of carrot through out. When I rung up I am told that I am wrong. What do you not understand about customer service? When I tell you I am not happy with the food you have delivered after giving specific instructions to have exactly this NOT happen and paying you for it, you replace the food I am not happy with. You are welcome to take back your "egg" fried rice. Will be lucky if I ever spend a penny here again. Learn how customer service works.

Wow amazing food and staff, I would recommend this place to everyone. Wait time sometimes can be up to 2 hours but my I don't mind waiting 4 hours. Remember guys it's quality over quantity. Keep good work up Achaari lads 💪
