Recently refurbished historic thatched pub by the roundabout in Knutsford. One or two cask beers served by friendly staff. Regular quiz nights, sports on TV. Good community feel.

Mind your head! Nice quaint pub in the centre of Knutsford. Really busy on Christmas eve and felt a little sorry for the staff who were a little overwhelmed. Nice atmosphere but a little loud. Plenty of room with some smaller discrete areas which make it feel cosy.

What a change around, proper pub wit a great atmosphere and great staff. Nice range of beers and well priced for the area. They are just finishing off the beer garden and it's looking amazing

Great pub in the centre of Knutsford! The new owner, Callum, who’s a local lad, has done a great job of restoring the historic pub to its former glory. Loads of character, beautiful outside area, friendly helpful team, great drinks selection and they even show the football…what more could you want from a pub?!

Bar staff are too inexperienced and don’t pay attention …. Rude couple walked in 7 minutes after me on Sunday morning and got served … busy but it there job to pay attention … I left .

Great pub. Went in on a Saturday night, karaoke was on. Some class tunes, great for over 30 crowd I reckon. Decent beers. Onto darts..... No raised oche, or throw line. lighting but it was blocking the board lol. At least they have a board. Lots of room for improvement. Limted due to the ceiling height and size of the pub. OK for a laugh if you want to play killer or something with mates. Still, the pub itself is great and I will go back 👍

Warm and cosy old pub. Unexpected, but fantastic outdoor area! Could do with the heaters staying on for longer than 15 seconds on cold evenings, seemed to spend all evening pushing the button to turn it back on. At least one real ale would be great too.

What a fantastic country pub, I stumbled upon during a drive to Jodrell Bank. I ended up having Sunday dinner and it was truly lovely and is absolutely recommended. Staff were very welcoming and attentive. I will certainly be back when next in the area.

Amstel is the best lager in Knutsford. Food excellent and show loads of footy.

Good food, friendly staff and a quirky setting! The only negative was that the menu that we were provided upon arrival did not reflect the one we found on their website. It wasn't a million miles off, however!

Arrived just before a football game and it was the Epitome of charming. The bartender was so friendly, and we had a couple of drinks in a quiet corner surrounded by impressive art before our food was served. The food was exceptional in both quality, and price. We were so surprised as we’d just stumbled across this place.

Good food, well priced and staff really pleasant. Also well situated in the town. Would recommend to friends and would go again.

Visited the white Bear in knutsford this afternoon for lunch, ordered the beer battered haddock and hand cut chips, it was cooked to perfection, the presentation was amazing and the staff were very friendly. Compliments to the chef and also thank you to Jamie who couldn't do enough for us! We will definitely be back to try more of the stunning menu!

I took my family here on a couple of occasions recently and we all really enjoyed it. Lovely beer garden, accommodating and friendly staff along with amazing Long Island Iced Teas! 👍

Had a delicious roast dinner here today. Big portions and reasonable prices. We were served by Harry who was very polite, attentive and professional. We were made to feel very welcome by Harry and all the staff. Would definitely recommend 👍

Being a regular for the past 22 years and spending a lot money. As I was always in with my partner. But recently the pub is under new management who are from Manchester where they have a pub in tier 3. We could not get a table to watch the match because half the people in the pub were from Manchester tier 3. Who not should be there in knutsford tier 2.

Loud sweary people at the bar who were clearly regulars. No one would move to let me be served. Felt I was inconveniencing the bar maid from joining in the conversation. Lovely building, decent pint, bad atmosphere.

This pub was a very very welcome sight after walking from Plumley. A very traditional coaching Inn, the low ceilings and dark oak beams almost take you back in time. We just stopped in for drinks, but both dog and child were welcome inside. Although we didn't eat, food was available and looked wholesome and filling. I felt comfortable and very glad of the chance to rest. I wouldn't hesitate to return here.

Very strict in terms of drinks. Even though me an my friends have all turned 18 they kicked us out at 8PM. Treated very unfairly even though everyone there was of age and could prove it
